Pizza as pizza should be, without frills and frills (which only serve to justify the insane prices of some places). Good, well-cooked (in a wood-fired oven), and at the right price for what is an ultra-popular dish. The place is always impeccably clean, and then there's Mario, with his prickly kindness that embodies the essence of a mustachioed, experienced pizza chef. Well done everyone, I'm always sure to return.

An Italian restaurant that appears to be family-owned, as the staff is older. Nevertheless, they served us quickly, and the pizzas were delicious. The dessert was also delicious, and the prices were very fair. It's wheelchair accessible. Parking is limited, as the restaurant is quite centrally located. It looks like a restaurant that has seen better days, but that's not a problem. You can pay with cash or card. Unfortunately, there's no terrace; you eat inside. Wheelchair accessible. Conclusion: good! 👍

Il Caminetto is an institution and has been in Alessandria for a very long time. The owner, in my opinion, makes the best pizza in Alessandria. It's also the only place where you can still eat an excellent Margherita at a price that's frankly out of line. Given the quality, their pizza is definitely worth trying at least once if you're in Alessandria. The only downside might be that the place hasn't been renovated over the years, but that's due to the fact that it no longer has the same customer base it once had, and that's a real shame because in my opinion, it truly is the best pizza in Alessandria.

I have a great time every time I come, whether with friends, my girlfriend, or family. The pizzas are delicious, and I find the meat-based menu better than the fish-based one (but that's just personal preference) based on my experience so far. The prices are very modest, averaging €55 for four (4 pizzas, 1 Coke, 3 small beers, 3 desserts, and 3 coffees, including cover charge). The quality of the ingredients on the pizza are made daily by the pizza chefs themselves. The pizza dough is delicious, but above all, incredibly digestible. It doesn't even leave you thirsty at night, which is important for determining whether the pizza you ate for dinner is truly good. Truly excellent, I'm giving it a 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and not a 5 simply because there's always room for improvement. I highly recommend it 😉

Pizzeria ristorante di vecchia data in Alessandria. I piatti e le pizze son discreti ma nulla di che. Luogo economico ed adatto ai gruppi o per mangiare soli e velocemente. Un piccolo restauro e rinfrescata non farebbe msle. D estate non fanno funzionare i condizionatori. Prezzi medio bassi. 2 pizze e 2 birre attorno ai 20€

Locale fermo agli anni 70, tutto molto old style, ma in senso negativo...Cibo appena accettabile e prezzi contenuti salvano il locale da un inevitabile 1 stellina...diciamo un 2 dato con bontà! Atmosfera pessima, servizio inquietante, per avere un sorriso o un attimo di vivacità forse bisognava pagare un supplemento? Non hanno neanche il seggiolone per i bimbi...in 30 e più anni di servizio avrebbero potuto comprarne uno, non credo essere stato l'unico cliente ad avanzare questa normalissima richiesta. Ampiamente evitabile a mio giudizio.

Saturday evening, I made a quick reservation for two people. I called at 7:30 PM and showed up 10 minutes later because they told me the table had to be vacated at 9:15 PM. Okay! We waited 65 minutes for our two pizzas. The place was packed, but management was clearly disorganized. The only downside was that the pizza wasn't worth the long wait. We left as quickly as possible. I recommend booking fewer reservations and paying more attention to wait times.

This very dated pizzeria could use at least a fresh coat of paint, as the radiator marks make the place look old and neglected. The beer is particularly tasteless, and, in my opinion, the pizza is dry and made with low-quality ingredients. The staff is very unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate even the smallest of needs. I must say the fries were very well-fried, which is why I gave them two stars, but it's not enough to make me want to return. It's a shame, because it's a historic place in this city.

I was there for work with my partner, and when we ordered two different pasta dishes, the owner gave us a strange look, making a face. We asked if there were any problems. He replied, "Since it was summer, making two different pasta dishes was a hassle because it was too hot." I told him I was fine with just plain pasta so as not to cause any disturbances. He got annoyed and said, "No, no problem." In the end, he obliged. We definitely won't be returning. However, aside from that issue, everything else was fine; the dishes were standard and the prices were really reasonable. If you want to eat cheaply and eat reasonably well, this is the place for you.

Got in because I was starving and nothing were open around, the place is awful, the waitress is an old lady tired of living she seems to hate her job; the restaurant is extremely cheap but you get what you pay for.

Abbiamo dovuto attendere più di un'ora per avere pizze e primi. I miei spaghetti alla carbonara erano scotti, acquosi e insipidi. Le pizze con impasto insipido. Prezzi molto bassi. Purtroppo non siamo stati per nulla soddisfatti

Ho cenato in questa pizzeria con delle mie amiche. Al momento del pagamento mi è stato riferito che il bancomat questa pizzeria non lo prende... Fortunatamente avevo i contanti (siccome la spesa totale è stata di 50€ ed essendo una 14enne non dovrei neanche uscire con tutti questi soldi). Mio padre ha chiesto spiegazioni alla pizzeria al cellulare in un secondo momento, e la risposta da parte della commessa è stata maleducata ed irrispettosa, affermando di avere un cartello al di fuori della pizzeria che dice di non prendere il bancomat... Inoltre ella concluse dicendo tale frase: "Sua figlia non era obbligata a venire qui!1!1" Staccando in faccia il telefono a mio padre. Ma io dico... nel 2019 si può ancora non prendere il bancomat!? E soprattutto se non avessi avuto i contanti cosa avrei dovuto fare??? Sul sito non c'è scritto che non lo prendono ed io prenotando al telefono come avrei potuto saperlo...

Ten days ago, I was in Alessandria for work. I had a small appetizer of mushrooms, olives, and artichokes, followed by a pizza with prosciutto, arugula, and shaved parmesan. This one was also small. Fifteen minutes later, I had red wine and a coffee. Total: €28, a steal for what I ate, and the quality was so poor. Avoid in the future.

I'm giving one star only for the service (even though they deserve zero). Two of us showed up for pizza downtown. They sat us down and brought us menus with gresini (one package of which was already opened). After a half-hour wait, no one showed up, but in the meantime, they'd served two tables that arrived after us. So we got up and left. Luckily, there are other, much more professional places in Alessandria.

My pasta carbonara was pasta with literal scrambled eggs on top. Not sure if this was because I was foreigner, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
