It wasn't just a dinner, but a true celebration of his passion for cooking. Kudos to the young Chef. The real star of the show is the young chef, a man who deserves all his success. The quality of the dishes we enjoyed was unquestionable: balanced flavors, quality ingredients, and an attention to detail evident in every bite. What made the evening unforgettable for my family and I was his profound passion. The chef patiently explains each dish to his guests, illustrating the preparation and philosophy behind his creations. It's clear he's not just working, but sharing the fruit of a true calling. He's a young talent who deserves a round of applause and all the support possible. Excellence in salami, too A special thanks also goes to his fiancée, who works alongside and supports him. Her contribution in the dining room was fundamental: impeccable, courteous, and attentive service, which complements the culinary experience with warm and professional guest service. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a place where passion meets high quality and where every guest feels pampered and valued, you've found it.

A family-run restaurant serving traditional Piedmontese cuisine. Beautiful, well-maintained location. Wide selection of wines. At the end of the meal, the chef-owner went around the tables explaining the history of the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the staff was very friendly. The only flaw was that I didn't find tongue among the main courses, which I had seen online. However, it was still a pleasure to try the dishes offered, which were excellent. I give it 5 stars and recommend it.

This traditional tavern in the center of Alessandria was taken over eight months ago by two young people who know their job very well: cooking excellent dishes and welcoming customers with a warm smile and a friendly manner. The young woman at the entrance let us choose a table; there were two of us and there were several free ones. She brought us water, bread, homemade breadsticks, and a delicious meatball with paprika. I was impressed by the table setting. Cotton tablecloth, silver cutlery, elegant glasses, and, being a detail-oriented person, I really like the wooden beamed ceiling. The place is quite small, but the tables are well-spaced, allowing for good conversation, perfectly in keeping with the ambiance. Little by little, it fills up, and all the tables are taken. The service is very attentive; the young woman asks us, each time we collect our dishes, if we liked what we ate; she is attentive and very helpful. The food is truly delicious; we opted for a trio of appetizers: minced meat, Russian salad, and veal with tuna sauce. Then there were Piedmontese meat ravioli and veal escalope with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. The desserts are also very good: tiramisu and the typical Piedmontese dessert that resembles a pudding with amaretti biscuits. At the end of the meal, the chef stopped by to ask us if we were satisfied with the food. He explained that they changed management a few months ago, but they put all their effort and expertise into satisfying their customers. And they succeed very well. And finally, the prices are absolutely average; in fact, I'm surprised that such delicious dishes are so cheap compared to many other places.

I can only speak in superlatives to describe Osteria Gallo D'Oro. We received a genuinely warm welcome and were given a nice table where our dog could lie comfortably. After looking at the menu, we decided to take the degustation menu and what a treat it was! From the welcome snack to the dessert was a treat. One wonderful flavour combination after another. Every dish.was equally fresh, flavoursome and created with love. The wine collection is very extensive and the advice based on my taste preferences impeccable. I will definitely come back again and can only recommend this gem. Many thanks to the chef, his brother and the entire team!

We had lunch at this restaurant with a set menu. The Piedmontese appetizers were quite good, as was the risotto, while the main course and dessert were very good. The only downside was the slow service; it took us almost three hours to finish our meal. The prices were very reasonable.

Bel Locale e gentilezza del personale , non bene per quanto riguarda l’attesa dei piatti , il locale non era affollato ottimo il tris di antipasti, agnolotti con brasato discreti troppo salato il sugo , lunghissima l’attesa per lo secondo , salamino su salsina di piselli e Patate non mi ha soddisfatto. Bene il dolce .In definitiva cercare i di organizzare un po’ meglio le comande in cucina. Sottolineo la gentilezza di chi ha servito ai tavoli .

Siamo arrivati in questa osteria trovando un locale davvero bello e accogliente, con un’atmosfera piacevole. Il personale è stato gentile e disponibile, davvero nulla da dire sotto questo aspetto. Purtroppo, il servizio è stato deludente: lunghissimi tempi di attesa, oltre mezz’ora solo per ricevere l’antipasto, e più di un’ora tra una portata e l’altra. Le porzioni erano piuttosto piccole e la qualità dei piatti non all’altezza delle aspettative. Il riso era scotto e la lingua, oltre a essere priva di sale, risultava secca. Nonostante il locale non fosse pieno (c’era solo un tavolo grande che sembrava avere la precedenza su tutti), l’organizzazione è sembrata confusa. Il mio parere è che, se non si ha la possibilità o la capacità di gestire un numero elevato di clienti, sarebbe meglio non riempire troppo la sala. Infine, i dolci: poca scelta e, tra l’altro, il cameriere ci ha avvisato che la panna cotta era “un po’ acquosa”. A mio avviso, se un dolce non è buono, sarebbe meglio non metterlo nemmeno in carta. Un vero peccato, perché il locale ha del potenziale, ma l’esperienza complessiva è stata deludente.
