Perfect airconditioned spot to eat when you’re on the road and want to have a great meal just outside the highway. Super service (regularly checks if everything is fine), friendly staff, positive environment. Excellent pizzas & pasta. Made vegan pizza on request (tomato sauce with grilled veggies). Our small dog is allowed + brought water for him. Great experience :)

If you are in alessandria and you are looking a good place to eat and honest prices you can't go wrong. Very friendly staff and fresh ingredients, the only downside is the small parking space.

A very welcoming place, with a very nice and clean space. The restaurant also offers takeout. The interior is quite spacious and there's a covered outdoor terrace. Parking is available during the week, but it's very difficult on weekends as there isn't a dedicated parking space. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. I went there for a pizza party with colleagues, and I can only say that the pizza by the meter was very good. The red wine in bulk was decent, and the prices were slightly high. Limoncello was on the house. Small details, but very important. I'll gladly return, bringing my family.

We had lunch here. It was quite busy, the restaurant is clearly very popular with the local population. This is always a good sign of course. Good menu, good food, good prices, good staff!

Very very good food! Loved the pizza, real stone oven that heats with fire. The pizza was big and delicious. The desserts were also big and very good, especially the profiterole.

We visited this restaurant for lunch and were impressed with the friendly staff and service we received on arrival. Our meals were tasty, using fresh, local produce, and the choices were quite varied. From tasty antipasti through freshly cooked pastas and a superb risotto, to well prepared mains and pizza, we loved it all. And the desserts! We especially enjoyed the just-baked Milanese torta and array of biscotti to accompany our coffee, and we certainly didn’t need to eat much for supper. A lovely dining experience which we would recommend during a visit to Alessandria.

Accogliente ristorante pizzeria all'ingresso di Alessandria. La scelta ricade tra svariati primi (super consigliate le orecchiette alla crema di scampi), secondi, pizze, e la particolarità del locale: la pizza al metro. Quest'ultima si compone di 4 gusti a scelta ed è consigliabile prenderla solo in gruppo, dato che, come si immagina, è molto abbondante. Il personale è estremamente cordiale e amichevole, e il servizio è veloce. Il parcheggio del locale è molto piccolo, ma si trovano facilmente posti intorno.

"la follia" di questo mezzo di comunicazione è determinata dal fatto che ognuno può scrivere le "fregnacce" che gli passano per la testa, in qualsiasi momento della propria esistenza in cui incappano in un locale! Quindi passiamo da UN STELLA di ieri e CINQUE STELLE di ieri l'altro... che dire? "No Comment"... Io, questa sera 30.12.2022, in ottempero a centinaia di recenzioni positive, ho deciso finalmente di andare a provare la loro pizza con consumazione sul posto. Le aspettative erano alte ma sono rimasto un po' deluso. L'ambiente è un po' rumoroso/caotico ma il locale è ampio e luminoso. Il servizio rapido (forse troppo), ma professionale ed attento. Un po' costipate le panche della saletta posteriore, con mise en place essenziale. Pizza un po' ridotta (vedi foto - 8€) con frutti di mare non eccezionali, passabile ma insipida, comunque cotta bene e con impasto leggero, olio evo di qualità, salsa pomodoro un po' anonima. Frittura mista di pesce non croccante, un po' unta, pastella insipida, nulla di entusiasmante (14€). Buonissima la birra rossa alla spina e ottima la pastiera napoletana proposta per dolce. Rapporto prezzo qualità commisurato. Grande difficoltà per trovare parcheggio. Consigliata come esperienza, ma non è un posto per chi cerca tranquillità. Tornerò per assaggiare qualche piatto da ristorante

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, il servizio è cortese, professionale e veloce. Vale davvero la pena di mangiare qui, se il locale ricevesse una piccola svecchiata sarebbe perfetto.

Tried for dinner on December 22, 2025. The restaurant is quite large, the staff were friendly, and the service was reasonably fast. However, I must point out that I gave it two stars for the atmosphere because the restaurant was full that evening (probably due to the upcoming holidays and the presence of a birthday party). The noise level was so high that it was difficult to hear the person sitting across the table. The menu includes a variety of wood-fired pizzas, as well as both fish and meat dishes. The fritto misto is a must-try, perfectly dry and crispy. The seafood risotto was also excellent. At the end of the meal, we were also offered a complimentary liqueur of our choice. The wait for the pizzas was a bit longer than for the restaurant dishes, as they also offer takeout, so priority may have been given to the latter. I will definitely return, but in quieter times.

Being welcomed as soon as you enter a restaurant is one of those attitudes that always brings me back to Pizzeria Mezzaluna. You feel welcome and at home. It's nice and not for everyone. The seafood dishes are a sure thing, and you can never go wrong with the pizza. Go and you won't regret it. There's no comparison if you want to eat like on the Amalfi Coast.

A hidden gem with a family feeling, incl. fast and friendly Service. We could have driven past this restaurant as it was almost hidden from the street by the large bush. Do not underestimate it's modest exterior. It is worth planning your highway stop around. The food was great, the service was fast + the personel very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was delightful. I marvelled as I watched how their wait staff incl. managers were flying around the restaurant, helping each other out as well. It was impressive teamwork. Even though the pizza around us looked top notch, we ate from some of the many other meal choices. They have both seafood and non-seafood options. So, there is something for everyone. The parking lot is small, but there is ample street parking... Also there is a shopping plaza across the street :) That's just a few impressions about our experience. We will definately note this restaurant for our future trips.

Pizza discreta. Mi è piaciuta abbastanza ma sinceramente mi aspettavo di più(dalle recensioni lette e dalla fama che ha in giro....) Ho preso una bufala era piena d'acqua poi c'erano sopra pomodori tagliati a cubetti che sinceramente stonavano(per me)Peccato.Dolci discreti. Panna cotta ottima. Affogato al caffè con gelato alla crema godibile ma non eccezionale. Cmq la consiglio. Da provare sicuramente.

Sinceramente scrivo alle 6:30 di mattina questa recensione perché non è possibile fare 1m di pizza cruda...Non sono riuscito a digerire la pizza in 10h

My wife and I went for pizza... or at least we tried! The dough looked like it was still on vacation in the oven: raw in the center and a little tender at the edges. The place is a blast from the past, with '70s furnishings and period floors: practically a museum, except here you have to pay a cover charge. An ideal place if you want to dine with grandma and relive the good old days. 😂

A parte il locale vecchiotto, voglio dire due pizze! Una birra una coca cola e un caffè 40 euro e anche senza scontrino come definirlo?

It's 2:30 and I'm still in the bathroom vomiting from tonight's dinner, a seafood appetizer, namely (the only one that was worth it) spaghetti with clams... inedible from the salt and the clams were old, and a grilled fish with 2 rotten shrimp, 2 old and rancid shrimp, and 2 disgusting squid that we didn't eat😡 for the modest sum of €72.00 😡😡😡 naturally the dishes were returned and when the waiter saw them he asked why?? And I told him the truth, his response was I'll have them brought him another one.... For goodness sake, we left immediately and I'm still here drinking bicarbonate of soda and herbal tea... We will definitely never come back and the second time they'll rip us off... of course...
