A much-appreciated discovery, this restaurant perfectly reflects what I look for in a restaurant: excellent hospitality and service from friendly and welcoming staff, a very pleasant atmosphere with its own personality, an interesting menu with excellent ideas such as the elephant ear, a generously sized cutlet breaded with a mix of 14 ingredients (I tried it). They also offered a few off-menu dishes. We immediately felt at ease, the welcome entree was a welcome treat, the excellent Paladino mixed antipasto, veal cheek in Nebbiolo wine that melted in the mouth, the tender and perfectly fried Superstar ear, and the desserts were also delicious. My sincere compliments to the management for their dedication and success in offering well-executed cuisine while also pursuing their own distinctive identity that sets them apart from the crowd. A lovely atmosphere, created by cozy nooks. Very welcoming and incredibly friendly. We're so glad we stopped here. Our meal was delicious and excellent. We had veal cheeks, ribs, tagliatelle with prawns, and asparagus tartare. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended.

Had dinner last night. Assorted appetizers... excellent, cheek with fabulous puree, Cantabrian anchovies, sorbet, house herbal liqueur, prosecco... fast and attentive service. €70 for two... recommended!!!!

I recently dined at Paladino and was deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. The menu featured a variety of fish and meat dishes. I recommend the house antipasto and the elephant ear. If you can't eat the whole portion, they have everything wrapped up, thus avoiding unnecessary food waste. The attentive and knowledgeable staff, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction, made for a wonderful evening. The interiors are also unique and worth seeing! I recommend Paladino for a fantastic culinary experience.

A very unique place with the option of dining outside on the lush green patio. Good value. Friendly staff. I saw a lot of wines inside... too bad I didn't see a wine list. The carafe wine is good. 👍🏻 I went for dinner with friends but I'd love to return for a family dinner. Also recommended for an intimate dinner for two!! 🥰

We visited this restaurant on the evening of its reopening after the August holidays (by chance, we found out later). The restaurant is meticulously maintained, and the dining room is spectacular, with its plant-covered ceiling. The bathroom is like a candy box, fragrant and colorful, thanks to the countless rolls of paper towel hanging on the walls (and plenty available to guests for all tastes). The menu features a limited number of dishes, all very inviting. Having both worked in the restaurant industry for years, we appreciated the limited number of dishes because it demonstrates a desire to give 100% in every preparation, focusing on quality rather than quantity. Our first courses and the elephant ear were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, even when it came to splitting the elephant ear between two plates. I really appreciated the waitress's congratulations, as I'm eight months pregnant.

Last night I had dinner with the Cugi family, everything was delicious and of high quality. The owner was very friendly and the service was excellent...I dropped a fork and one of the waitresses inside the restaurant heard it and brought it to me without me even saying anything. Excellent wine. Definitely worth trying...I'll be back!

Excellent experience, very tasty and well-cooked food. Average prices, quick and friendly table service. The owner is friendly and helpful. The decor is unique, quaint, and the bathroom is unusual (in a good way). I can't recommend it highly enough.

Overall, a good restaurant, with good food, although I found a few dishes a bit improvised, like the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which was absolutely tasteless, and not just with porcini mushrooms. In my opinion, a dish priced at €18 shouldn't have any flaws. Overall, however, the food is satisfying, the service is good, and I only partially like the ambiance. I'm concerned about the jungle-like plastic ceiling, which isn't even the best quality, and the table setting isn't exactly impressive, considering the prices—not exactly fast food. I find the paper napkins and placemats out of place. It's an experience worth trying, and if you want a superb Elephant Ear, you might as well come back.

A charming trattoria in Alessandria The dishes are well-prepared with quality ingredients, and the service is courteous and prompt. The owner is histrionic. The prices are also very fair for wine, with a good selection and more than reasonable markups. The small outdoor terrace invites you to try it on summer evenings.

A nice, well-furnished place. The ceiling is decorated like a garden, which is lovely. The bathroom is spacious and accessible, and decorated in a playful way. There's a note on the table that says, among other things, that since the dishes are freshly prepared, they might take a little longer, but they were average compared to other places. Their breaded steak (elephant ear) is truly large, about 700 grams of meat, tender, and served on a cutting board. The waitresses are helpful, but what I found a little unpleasant was the owner, who, in his attempt to be nice, perhaps lapses into being cloying.

Awful service. Arrogant and not tourist friendly. Waited 20 minutes. Asked for menu and did not received it. When we left a negative feedback, the owner (or waiter) was arrogant. Not coming back.
