I just stepped in for a coffee to go. It was busy, but only waited 3 minutes. Everyone working behind the bar was very busy, with customers inside and by drive thru window.
Dakota at the register was Johnny on the spot with my order. All staff super friendly. Restrooms near immaculately kept. Try the 1971, great brew.
I’m giving this Starbucks a solid 5 stars overall because the drinks and service were great. However, I’d rate the atmosphere around 3 stars since there were some pieces of trash and dropped food on the floor, and it seemed like the staff wasn’t really keeping an eye on cleaning up the seating area. The trash cans were pretty full too, which probably led to the mess. But other than that, everything else was really good!
Super grateful for Zoiyah and Cash for their patience and support while i was having trouble with the app on a super busy Christmas morning! Happy holidays!

Went to get birthday drink. As of March 6th its mobile order for pick up or drive thru only. We were hoping to sit by fireplace outside but they said they couldn't turn it on. The heaters outside did work so we hung outside for a short while. Chairs were still frozen so hard to really enjoy there. We ended up driving to a nearby park. Inside theres no seating as area is sectioned off & no bathroom access. Staff was friendly & drinks were great. Plenty of parking in large shopping mall lot. Walking up to it, the mall is cute & ski mountain is in backdrop of this SB. Will be nice to visit when fireplace is ok to use. There is another SB inside of the grocery store on other end of mall, but using a reward & was hoping to enjoy patio seating so opted for this one. Maybe ck their IG for updates.
I know it is a popular spot and it is Big Bear in summer but 30 minutes wait to get your coffee and snack is insane. It is not even the worst time like breakfast
This is completely crazy, I have more than 25 minutes waiting for an order from Uber EATS, the staff of this establishment the only thing they told me was that “THEY DO NOT HAVE TO GIVE PRIORITY TO ONLINE CUSTOMERS” if priority according to them are those who were already there, repeating that I had a lot of time waiting for that order, people arriving just to those if they attended them, it seems to me a lack of respect towards my work and the customers online, disastrous place, I will never return to this Starbucks, neither as a customer, nor as a delivery man.
There’s a formula to making Starbucks coffee. So why have I recently have been receiving coffee that is basically a cup of milk. Train your staff properly, have some quality control. When the prices are already expensive you’d think they could remember to add the coffee. Thumbs down to the new barista.
This may be the most rubbish Starbucks I've ever seen. There are few customers and it's so slow.
If you want to wait for more than an hour to get your drink come here. Mobile orders are never made pretty much. I waited 30 minutes after I was suppose to get my drink and I asked and they said it would be another 20 minutes. Finally just refunded it and left. Don’t go here.
I’d actually recommend going to a Starbucks inside Vons over this location. Because I placed an order through mobile it goes to the end of the queue so I waited an hour for 3 drinks, meanwhile I could watch people place an order inside the store, collect their drinks, and leave. Meanwhile, you can tell this is a common occurrence because they have an employee dedicated to telling people that they no idea how they fill orders and that it’s going to be a long wait.
I went last Saturday, and when I went to pay, I gave them a $50 bill, and the cashier didn't give me my change back. I asked for it, and she called the manager, and they said they didn't have any $50 bills, so they didn't give me my full change back, only $20. I asked them to check their security cameras, and they said they didn't have any. In conclusion, terrible service and they're thieves.
I asked for cold foam but she gave me whipped cream instead, I went through the drive through and had to go inside to ask them to fix it, but they just gave me whipped cream again so I don’t go here anymore. One of the girls is really petty and just laughed at me when I asked her to fix it. I suggest to just go to the Starbucks in Vons! They’re way more professional.
Everytime I come in here I see a fully staffed floor. It’s painful to watch this store run. Y’all pull your stickers early, stick them to the mastrenas and make the easier drinks instead of making them in order. I’ve stood in that lobby for 25+ minutes. And the drive thru isn’t an excuse when you have 8 people working. Super disorganized here. Go to the vons across the parking lot.
We placed an order and after 50 minutes there was still 20 people ahead. We had to cancel our order. Fire your management team. Shut off the uber eats and door dash ordering so you can handle the insane wait you have of clients in the room. I should call the fire Marshall and report you for 36 fire hazards. You overfilled my coffee which spilled everywhere. You have zero napkins to clean it up with. Your restrooms have key pad doors (which I’m assuming is to deter the 1 homeless person in Big Bear) and also have no paper towels in them because you use hand dryers. Learn how to handle volume. I started recruiting people inside by informing them that there’s a Starbucks in Vons across the parking lot with 3 people in line.
I need to wait almost 30 minutes every time, even prepaid with the app. I am not coming back. Even with 10 people on the shift, they cannot keep up with the work. They should stop putting "yem" " enjoy" "have a nice day" or other stupid words on the cups! Focus on working faster!
Waited 20 min for a back hot coffee and a matcha latte that I ordered through the app. They priority the drive through over app and walk ins and it’s quite ridiculous.
Literally the worst Starbucks on the planet. Went through the drive through on my street legal motorcycle which is allowed with the company (checked online) and a chick lost her mind and was yelling at me that motorcycles aren’t allowed. I can’t believe you let your employees talk to customers like that. You always mess up orders and make terrible drinks compared to other locations. Maybe you need to reevaluate how you talk to customers because you’re being super lame to people.
