Popeye's really got it together. Their fried chicken is unbeatable. My 7 year old son is a French Fry connoisseur and it's tough to beat McDonald's. I ordered him a regular fries and those things didn't stand a chance. They are kinda battered and very crispy he loved them. He is even kind of sensitive to spices and although these have light pepper it didn't bother him at all. Service is great at the Burbank Location.

Ordered the 12pcs managers special legs and thighs for 17.99 They offered me 12 thighs for the same price because they didn't have legs ready, it would take another 11 mins to cook. I like thighs better anyway which worked out for me. The chicken was fresh and hot and not over cooked. This Popeyes didn't have a drive through window.

David did an excellent job following my instructions. I truly enjoyed everything. The portions, the freshness, and the taste were great. I'll order from them again for sure. Thanks David!

Very crowded as there were a lot of people who were getting the chicken sandwich. I was there for the managers special (all dark meat) and they did not have enough so they offered white meat to get me my food earlier. Considering the crowd, they did a good job with customer service.

Everything went well even though I had to make sure everything I ordered was correct except the condiments weren't in my order when I specified it in my mobile order. Good thing I ALWAYS check.

I was more than satisfied with my food. I order a spicy chicken breast and wing, with coleslaw and mac n' cheese. I was very surprised at how good the mac n' cheese was. I hadn't had Popeye's since the height of the pandemic back home in Virginia. The chicken was tender and juicy, perfectly seasoned and crispy👌 Service was awkward, but that seems to be everywhere. There is no bathroom and the inside isn't really a dine-in environment; as it's much too small. One of the better tasting locations I've ever ordered from.

This Popeyes has helpful staff and I've always had good food here. Not very busy either, at least not the times that I go. Parking is also very easy. Overall, a chill place to have lunch!

I did not personally get food here, but I'll give it a review since Google asked me to. I gave my mother-in-law a ride to this establishment. I noticed that the parking was not a problem. That's a plus. Food was hot and ready and delicious! My mother-in-law was almost in and out of it. In other words, this place has professional and quick staff. I'd say the price was not bad at all because mother-in-law paid for my food. She's very frugal. (I hope she doesn't see this review though) All in all, this place hasn't let me down. I don't believe I'll ever see that day.

Review of Classic Chicken Sandwich combo: For 6.99, this was a great price. The chicken was moist, and outer batter had a nice crunch. The sandwich is really simple, just mayo, pickles and chicken. Cajun fries were okay, but weren't anything special. I would prefer this chicken sandwich to chick fil a's, although from a wholistic view, would prefer chick fil a because of their sauce and waffle fries. But this is a good basic chicken sandwich, and I only waited 20 min for it rather than the normal 2 hour wait at Howlin Ray's.

Their chicken are good and delicious plus the pies are crispy and good for dessert. The cashier girl need to be more attentive of the customer's who come first to serve.

I love Popeyes been going ever since the Chicken Sandwich Wars 2019😭 (life back then🔥)…. Recently notice a few changes to the Famous chicken sandwich.. 1st it taste different, not in a bad way just different, can’t put my finger on it🤔.. 2nd when I got my sandwich it was not the regular thick chicken they always use. This chicken was more a skinny fillet like they took one chicken breast and filleted it into 3 breast. Not sure if it was just this location tho.

The best fried chicken of all the fast food chains! Right now busy because of the chicken sandwich buzz. Had to give it 4 stars only because no bathrooms for those dining in. Not a problem for us as we usually go for the family meal deals. My favorite sides are the red beans and rice and the Cole slaw. Remember to ask for the butter and honey for the biscuits- none of our local Popeyes automatically put these items in the take out bag but they are happy to do so on request.

When I'm in dire need of a chicken fix, Popeyes is my jam. But their communication game is so weak that by the time they tell me they're cooking up something special for me, five other folks have already had a feast! As Dave Chappelle would say, "I asked for chicken, not a magic trick!"

We got the 2 piece chicken and apple pies. All was good. The downside is NO BATHROOM! How can you have a restaurant and no bathroom to wash hands, etc? Just do away with the dining room. Update on 6/24/23 @ 7pm we got a 4 piece meal, 2 2 piece meals. Popcorn shrimp meal, 6 piece ghost pepper wings. The chicken was a little dry, not as good, and the ghost wings were way dry and tasted old. Tried calling for 3 days, but there was no answer. Will contact corporate.

came here for the infamous chicken sandwich. FYI currently they are only serving them between 11am-7pm. my group got into line around 6pm and there was a short wait. we ordered and were served our food relatively quickly. the shop was busy due to the #hype but overall we found a place to sit and the food was enjoyable. good price and glad i got to try the sandwich. got a combo which came with a drink and a side.

The place is kinda small, decent for a quick bite. Had the famous chicken sandwich, I don't see what the hype was about. Sandwich OK at best.

The pieces of chicken are small especially if you order one of the advertised specials. Staff is not friendly. There is ample parking.

This Popeyes is usually really fast to get their food out the door, however the more I come here the more I notice that they forget items or even mess up orders. I recommend them but don't expect it to be five stars all the time. It's an average Popeyes compared to the rest, so three stars.

I'm kinda a Popeye's officinado. Whatever... I like a good chicken strip. *shrug* The food at this location was meh. Fries were half warm and mushy, strips a bit rubbery. It was a little after lunch too... shoulda been fresh but wasn't. Honestly, not much else to note about the visit. Everyone was nice enough. A solid 3 was had by all.

I got there just before closing. Though the seats were all stacked up, the floor was being mopped, and the staff were at the end of their day, the service was efficient, polite, and thorough. Hooray.

Well I can start by saying I’ve been coming to this location for years and the food is very good and hot ! The only problem is the employees they seem not to care about the service and customers but again that’s not all the employees! I did reach out to the manager she was really nice and helpful she will speak to this employee about the situation thanks for the complementary food !

I was simply told they, "didn't have" 2 different specials on the menu. When I asked for the reason why, she didn't have one. Nor did she offer to substitute any items or price. Instead I spent $15 more than what I was planning to spend without being able to enjoy what I initially ordered. How difficult is it for Popeyes to remove or hide these items from the menu before the mistakes and confusion arise when the items are truly not available as advertised??

Good food but poor service. Ordered chicken and Cole slaw and got home to find chicken and french fries. Always some issue related to service at many of their locations. They could learn something about service from Chik-A-Fil.

Haven't had Popeyes in a while and decided to give it a try. Disappointed everything comes spicy or mild since I'm not a fan of spice and am pretty sensitive to it. First time having it in years and probably won't have it again anytime soon. Staff were ok but we asked for ranch and they said it was in the bag but by the time we got to the park to eat we realized they didn't give us any sauces at all for any of our food. Store did appear clean and they had people wait for food outside due to COVID so thats good. If you like Popeyes then sure I'd recommend this location, just double check your order has everything you asked for before leaving.

It's fast food, so don't expect anything more. I like their spicy fried chicken better than KFC. The batter is crunchier. Gus' Fried chicken is not as dry and just as tasty. Burger King's Chic'king is a better chicken sandwich, imo - more veggies.

Popeye's as a chain is an average fried chicken place. Nothing special. This particular store has a terrific staff though. Probably won't return, but that is more a commentary on the food than the store.

I’ve always appreciated the quality of the chicken here—it’s consistently delicious and a standout dish. However, my recent experience with the service left much to be desired. It seems like they might be anticipating fewer customers, as they often seem unprepared for the demand. On this occasion, I placed my order an hour in advance, which made my extended wait inside especially frustrating. To make matters worse, I had two separate orders for different locations, but the staff packed them together in one bag. I’ve experienced wait times exceeding 20 minutes in the past, which is far from ideal. Additionally, the mashed potatoes and gravy were lacking—not only were the portions small, but there was no gravy included at all, which was disappointing. I really hope they can improve their service, as the delicious chicken deserves better support!

Sadly this place has a problem with checking the order. I now have to double check everything in the bag before I leave the store. Sadly every time I order more than an single meal there is something missing or just wrong. Today I ordered a large mashed potato and gravy 6.99 it was missing. I ordered an extra coleslaw it was missing and requested a chicken thigh...by itself. I was given a chicken breast not a thigh. This has been a consistent problem at this store. The North Hollywood store never does this, the Pasadena store with a drive thru doesn't have this problem. But the store in Burbank continues to give me.the wrong items or skips them completely. The cost of eating out has gone up so much and I really love the food but because of this issue I would never order using uber eats. Always check your bag before leaving the store of you get more than two items! Other than that I would give them 5 stars. Its clean, easy to park and pretty fast to get the food ready. Maybe they need to slow down and check more carefully.

Ordered shrimp tackle box, but they gave me a popcorn shrimp box. When I corrected them they said “yeah, we ran out of the other shrimp so we gave you that one.” I would have appreciated knowing that before I ordered. Sides were ok tho, and the food came fast even if it was wrong.

Took 15 min to give me a five piece wings, don't come here if your are need to grab a quick bite for lunch. Very slow service and no customers were in line.

Tried this location a few times due to convenience & it Just wasn’t it for me taste wise. Customer service was just fine but the food overall was not good.

I am from New Orleans. I was missing home and decided popeyes was a perfect treat to get a taste of normal. I placed a simple order for all sides and it was wrong. I then spent all night and the next day so sick from the food. When I miss home in the future, I will just look at pictures.

Be sure you check your order before leaving. Not the first time but they LEAVE some of your orders. The staff is probably thinking you will just let it go. We had to drive back for the 2 Chicken sandwiches they DID NOT include in the bag.

Chicken is good but no fork or spoon was provided with an order of mac and cheese. Also with a 5 piece tender order only 1 sauce provided?? Lady taking our order was also with attitude and did not charge one of the items we ordered.

The service by Jenny was abysmal. Zero personality, not one smile. I could have had a better experience with a machine. The regular chicken had no flavor. The spicy was ok.

The employees here are incompetent and have a negative attitude. Customer service in this store is virtually non-existant, and the food overall was mediocre and tasted bland. I would not return to this kind of store and rather take my money elsewhere.

Ordered 3 piece All-White meat combo. Took the order home. Opened the box to find only 1 piece white meat (40% of which was bone) and two pieces of end of chicken wings. It's infuriating how these joints assume all people are uneducated and unintelligent. Returned to the store and the manager who had a bad attitude said that "Wings are considered White Meat". Wings that are 80% bone and skin are now "considered" white meat?! They ought to change the definition of white meat in the dictionary to be more transparent to people. What a scam. Returned my food for full refund.

I went in during mid day looking for the sandwich that was advertised all over the television. They are out. I have been to the Glendale, Montebello and now Burbank and can never get the sale sandwich only tender dinners available what is going on. The tender dinners are more expensive and not necessary. Chicken is good no doubt just feels like bate and switch.

I ordered a 4 piece with Mashed Potatoes and Apple pie. All the Chicken was old, dry and cold. Mashed potatoes were half filled and the Gravy was already in clumps from sitting. The apple pie was so old there was hardly anymore filling . Horrible experience

i ordered a classic chicken sandwich and it was pink not fully cooked , i had to wait for 28 minutes before i received my order , Keep in mind i ordered ahead trough the app still about 30 minute wait, my food was cold, i paid for a mango lemonade and I received a regular lemonade, i paid 25 cents for bbq sauce but they were all out of bbq sauce so they gave me a honey mustard, no forks or spoons to eat my coleslaw, only apple pies were nice warm, i asked for ketchup, they were all out of ketchup, other people also waited for 30 minutes just to receive their orders, Worst employees ever so bad at this simple job ... This is wrong the owner needs to check this location and have a long talk with the workers here on San Fernando Blvd and Cornell Dr , Burbank California

Absolutely horrible! I called because they forgot to add the red beans and rice I ordered. The person on the phone told me since it was Uber who picked up my order, they have no way to verify if “that was true”... so they basically accused me of lying about it! When I asked to talk to the manager they said she wasn’t in. So I asked for the manager’s name. She told me she didn’t know it. I asked if there was an Asst Manager I could talk to, and she said there wasn’t one working. I asked who was in charge, she sighed, got defensive and said “hold on”. The person who came to the phone, refused to tell me her name, but told me they can’t do anything, but said I could call and “talk to Mary in the morning”, but it probably wouldn’t help because they have no way of knowing if I actually got what I ordered, or if the Uber driver screwed up. NEVER AGAIN will I ever order from this place again!!

Don't use thier app and this location. Firstly the store didn't get the order. Then store doesn't honor the mobile offer. Then they refused to serve me what I paid for. This is the most embarrassing experience I ever had and they don't even know whether I will get refund. Ordered chicken two days ago. It was fresh and tasty. Ordered today and instead of spicy, they gave me mild chicken that was old, dry and nasty and made me sick! Reporting this to health department.

Last time I was there I was surprised by the quantity of chicken on my order… I order 14 pieces of tenders and what I got was exactly 14 strips of chicken so tiny and thin that look like chicken fingers I asked for a few sauces and I was charged for them on top of that The chicken was not good at all as previous times when I order it… I have no idea if is the people preparing this chicken or is the manager on charge but I have always been happy when I get chicken from this place… I don’t recommend this place at all and from now on I rather go to a different place or to the competition

Paid extra for large fries and they gave me a small, wasn't worth it to drive all the way back. Next time I came they wouldn't upsize my fries like I paid for last time, said a needed a receipt from last month. Anyone here keep fast food receipts from a month ago? Yeah.

We like this Popeyes, but ever since they put up this sign it's been hard to justify going! I don't like knowing these employees are at an even higher risk of getting COVID! Especially ironic that you can see its taped over a sign requiring masks. This is easy to fix. We will be happy to go back & fix our review when management takes down this irresponsible sign.

Simply asked to put 2 pumps of mango flavor to mix with my frozen lemonade .. instead of 4 pumps of strawberry. He denied to do that . When I asked for his name ..he denied to give me his name ..almost not wanting to give me my receipt..when I asked to talk with a manager he said no manager in charge.. worst experience at a restaurant. Had a really bad experience at this Popeyes location. Waited over 30 minutes for the new wings, requested sauce on the side, but received the order with the sauce already on. And the lady just simply said" oops ". We ordered 4 flavors, but got two duplicates despite they spent 5 mins to check before giving it to us. We also witnessed a fight between a customer and an employee. A gentleman ordered online, and the employee asked him to wait for 15 minutes. 15mins later, they told him that they canceled the order. The employee was very rude to the gentleman, and everyone was yelling. The night here was a total mess.
