A fabulous experience. The food was exquisite, the service excellent. The place is lovely. The price was great for what we ate. We tried the Burgos black pudding, the tomato and cod salad, a quarter of lamb, and a Spanish omelet for dessert. The lamb was to die for, absolutely delicious, and the dessert was too. Stopping here was a great decision.

If you're going to be near Ibeas, you have to stop at Los Claveles, a strategically located spot. We've been there several times with friends, and they always serve you with unparalleled joy and friendliness. It's run by a family with many years of experience, and their specialty, "olla podrida" (a hearty stew) made with Ibeas beans, is something you have to try at least once. It's best to go with a good group of friends and family. The salmon salad was also excellent, and the black pudding and pork cheeks were simply outstanding. All of this is accompanied by good local wines.

We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews, and it was conveniently located on our excursion. We ordered the olla podrida (a traditional Spanish stew) to share; the best part was the beans—tender and flavorful. The accompanying meat was plentiful (as you can see in the photo), and we couldn't finish it. It's definitely not for the faint of heart; it's quite filling. The restaurant has a modern, pleasant, and bright decor, and the service is attentive and fast. It's a great dining option, and if we're in the area again, we'll definitely try some of the other dishes that are also recommended. We arrived without a reservation but early in the day, so we had no trouble finding a table.

This has been the best restaurant for years to eat the famous "olla podrida," which is anything but rotten. The service is excellent, and the price is quite reasonable. Highly recommended, and if you don't make a reservation, you won't have much chance of getting a table. Restaurant excellence personified. Yesterday, 19 of us cyclists went and we had a fantastic meal.

A total surprise on the way to Atapuerca: absolutely recommended and surprisingly inexpensive for the excellent quality. Everything was exquisite, possibly the best black pudding from Burgos I've ever tasted. The tomato and cod salad was spectacular. Everything was delicious, and the service was fantastic, both from the owners and their team of waiters. A perfect ten. We'll be back whenever we can ❤️🤞🏻

This restaurant has it all: it's very pretty, with fantastic service and delicious food. Good wines and desserts, so everything was great. We have to order the olla podrida, so we'll be back to try it; we have the perfect excuse... The desserts are homemade and all very, very good. Congratulations to the team.

Excellent restaurant. We ate at Olla Podrida. Everything was delicious. We'd been trying to eat there for a long time, and every time we tried, it was impossible because it was either closed or there was no room. Today was our luck. It was worth it. The beans were cooked to perfection, tender, and juicy. The sacramentos, which is what they call the platter of different meats, were all tender and delicious. The desserts were good, admittedly not the best, but delicious. We tried the cheesecake, which was simple. The French toast was just right. The staff was very, very attentive. Totally recommended. We'll definitely be back.

I came to this restaurant on the recommendation of the place where I was staying. I liked it right away, so I waited until it opened at 9:15 PM, a bit late considering I get up early to walk the Camino. It was worth it. First of all, the interior decor is beautiful and unexpected given the rural setting of the area where it is located. For starters, I chose an asparagus dish accompanied by very sweet local cherry tomatoes. For the main course, I chose tagliatelle in broth with local herbs and goat's cheese. For dessert, a dark chocolate mousse. I found all the dishes very good, so much so that I complimented the chef. Excellent value for money.

Great service, delicious food ... Good wine. The morcilla was delicious (a plentiful platter) and squid andaluza crunchy yet soft inside. A fillet and sirloin steak arrived exactly as ordered (rare and medium) .. the restaurant was light and bright and even tho we were in a window, well air conditioned. Well recommended!! Yum ...

Restaurante ubicado en el centro del pueblo al lado de la N-120. Dispone de comedor y zona de terraza. La atención del personal eficiente y atenta. La carta es amplia y variada y la calidad de la comida está bien, aunque podría mejorar.

Restaurante de referencia en olla podrida. Las alubias exquisitas, pero el acompañamiento no. Parecía que solo la oreja se había cocinado con las alubias. Sin morcilla (en Burgos), reclamamos y trajeron una rodaja frita por comensal. El relleno sin sabor, el chorizo y el tocino regular. Postres normales. Precio algo alto por el resultado. Escogimos el día malo. Habrá que volver.

Food was great, but not as expected. I was expecting an medium rare steak but instead a thin sliced meat that you finish in 2 minutes. Very nice fries though. Definetly recommend it. Price was overrated. Service was great, food came quickly and the waiters/ress were all nice. Also very clean place.

Ayer fuimos a cenar el menú de San Valentín. Al hacer la reserva avisamos de que una persona era celíaca y, al llegar al restaurante, lo volvimos a recordar. El pan sin gluten llegó en el cuarto plato, después de reclamarlo varias veces. Siempre nos respondían que “en cinco minutos”, pero no llegaba. No sé si fue un problema de cocina o de sala, pero cuando finalmente lo trajeron era una pulguita pequeña. Pedí otra pieza y me dijeron que la traerían, pero cuando estábamos terminando la cena y a punto de llegar los postres, aún no había llegado, así que le indiqué a la camarera que ya no hacía falta. En el menú había un canelón. Se que ese plato no se pueda servir a una persona celíaca, pero habiendo avisado con antelación, creo que se podría haber sustituido por una alternativa adecuada. En su lugar, trajeron el relleno en un plato, algo bastante pobre como solución. El último plato, que en el menú eran medallones de pollo, tenía numerosos huesos pequeños y trozos con piel. Tengo fotos, aunque he preferido no publicarlas. Sinceramente, una decepción. No era un menú barato y esperaba que un restaurante con tan buena preparación estuviera a la altura. Destacar que la lubina y el pulpo estaban riquísimos.
