In the heart of Miami Beach. The most quaint Subway I think I’ve ever been to. Short walk from the beach. It’s an unusual setting inside a Victorian furnished hotel. Very friendly staff.
the food was precisely what I expected from a Subway sammwisch... nothing less, nothing more. upon unwrapping the 12 inches of absolutely par food, I grasped the #23 Italiano in my eager hands and quickly inserted the soon-to-be-devoured sub into my mouth. it was gone within minutes. I only managed to take one single picture before I wolfed the rest of it down. the staff were friendly. they spoke little English. I ordered just fine using the scraps of Spanish I learned in high school and by pointing at things behind the glass. what a truly human experience: two people, each of a different background and mother-tongue, united in a ballet of communication. two conscious beings collaborating to create one mediocre sandwich... how beautiful. the atmosphere felt hard and artificial. it was lit with bright white lights that cast a cold hue. unwelcoming to the outside passerby, but quickly acclimated to once inside. this was contrasted against the unmistakable Subway-green accents. it is the ideal environment to enjoy a soulless yet perfectly OK sandwich. I wouldn't have it any other way. over-all I left satiated and feeling pleasant. absolutely a 5 stars Subway experience. I'd give it 5.2 or maybe even 5.3 if I could. update: I went back the next day for another sub!!!

More reasonably priced than south beach subways, $13 for a turkey bacon avocado wrap (may 2024). Very nice a/c. Very clean and spacious interior. Toilet actually usable, which is a rarity, in Miami beach subways. Gave me tons of turkey slices in my wrap, though still pretty skimpy on salad vegetables, see photo, to decide for yourself.
Not crowded place. Staff speaks mainly in Spanish. The food tastes the same as in Europe.
they know very little English so at first I thought they were ignoring me, but it was just that they only know a little English so if you can speak slowly today was a much better experience so just take your time with them and everything will be OK ! my food was good thank you . the nightshift guy was very nice last sunday.
I stood waiting while 2 staff members were arranging and adding more items to the counter, completely ignored me for 10 minutes while they spoke in their foreign language, I know cause I speak and understand Spanish fluently. They could at least acknowledge me and informed me to wait and it would have been fine. I paid the sandwich and brought it out to eat next door. My sandwich was ok, the Cuban restaurant next door was kind enough to allow me eat my subway while my kids order fruit shake.
Good food BUT none of the employees speak English, 1 knows half but its broken English with a strong accent. I just ordered off the app in the end. Makes it very difficult for me and my wife. but still a clean place too.
The website and the app wouldn't work, so I ended up heading down there for a quick dinner. Unfortunately, nobody at the location spoke English, and they just seemed super annoyed to be working there... Overall service was just bad even without the language barrier, they didn't ask me how I wanted my food before dumping it all over my salad bowl. I would recommend you go elsewhere.

The only rude person I met on my whole trip to Miami works at this Subway. Day special is advertised as 6", it's not even 5" - see photos. Also, it's advertised everywhere as $6.99, but when paying its $7.25 - because 'VAT'. The drinks are really good.
The food was delicious as always but the staff was horrendous! Entering this establishment you feel unwelcome and like an annoyance. Worst subways I've ever been to! Management needs to reshape employee morale.
I ate a soup called "... chicken nudle soup" It was not nudles in it, it was pasta and the portion was very tiny. Not satisfied.
Just a regular subway, not too small. Had only one type of bread. Revisit: two type of breads, they wouldnt let us swap the sauce or add tomato on the listed subs. -1 Star. However, it was modernized in the meantime.
I don't know what to say... if you don't like your work just quit.. people will be happy to take it. I went for a sandwich, saw the guy on his phone and asked : hello,is it still open? The guy didn't even replied but just moved the head. Then he didn't talk, just the minimum I have put a tip for beeing polite but i regret it coz as soon as I put my credit car on the tap machine the guy was already in the office for playing with his phone, didn't even check if my payment was refused or what. Crazy
Just as horrible as she looks Served me watered down expired soup and refused to give me a refund. The cheese was separating and it smelled rancid
I had a terrible experience at this Subway location. I placed an order through the app for two Philly sandwiches to pick up, but when I arrived, they gave me two sandwiches with turkey, lettuce, and tomato instead. On top of that, I arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, and they hadn’t even started making my order yet. The staff was very disorganized and had a bad attitude. They told me I had to wait because they had five other orders to prepare before mine, even though my order had already been placed and paid for in advance. Save your time and money and DON’T go!!
Visit 1:Solid subway that isn't very stingy with vegetables. Staff was nice but a little slow. They need more staff to handle their lunch rush but all in all this location was par for downtown locations. Visit 2: Ordered 2 subs online and arrived at the restaurant 2 minutes after the app said they where done. Not only where they not done, but they hadn't even started on them. I watched as they where made incorrectly after getting to the front of the line. I walked home with my garbage sandwich for me and my boss.

My sandwich was good... But I have never... ever waited so long for a sandwich at any Subway in any state... anywhere.... just crazy Also my buddy came in to dine and paid for my buddies sandwich, it literally took SO LONG that the employees forgot completely about the transaction, HE PAID TWICE FOR IT, I am not the least bit joking when I say your employees look extremely high; red eyed and forgetful.
Literally NO idea what just happened. Placed an order on Subway.com for 3:05am for Saturday. When I showed up on time the doors were locked and the two workers inside refused to talk to me and just made a big NO signal and would look away while doing little chores. Having already paid online, I waited a full 22 minutes outside (while a couple other patrons passed by) until one of them was leaving and finally had to open the door. That's when I told him I had an online order almost half an hour ago and he said "oh, wait a little and I can make it"... HUH?? They're supposed to be open 24 hours and the glowing sign outside says so...
This is THE worst Subway I have ever been to! I was visiting from NY and my hotel was around the corner so I went in around 9pm and there was only one person in front of me and there were three employees behind the counter looking confused, talking to each other and not taking our orders! They were ignoring the growing line behind me and when I finally ordered the worker had to keep asking me what bread, meat and cheese I wanted because he kept getting distracted by the lady who went to the back to clean instead of helping cut the line down by taking orders and making sandwiches! The other employee seemed new and was being trained by the other guy but seems way too slow for this type of job! I mean he was taking forever to put tomato’s and pickles on my sandwich! Like really really slow smh! I spoke to them in both Spanish and English but they still didn’t understand what I was saying!! I speak both languages fluently so there was a disconnect there! I have never experienced such incompetence at a fast food place! Geesh it was awful!
The person working was on the phone and asked for our order, but she was holding ingredients up one at a time and asking us if it was what we wanted…. Very unprofessional and the place also smelled like B.O.
The woman slammed my sandwiches that I ordered from the Subway App order in the green baskets in front of my kids, not me. When I approached her, she was all smiling and said in Spanish that I had 3 sons. The man that came in after was combative and doesn't like people. Neither the woman with the mustache. She didn't make any of our sandwiches right at all. I ordered ham and she gave us turkey. We said no lettuce, she puts lettuce, and no black olives she puts black olives. We wanted jalapeños and no jalapeños. I think with the app orders, they do whatever they want. They do not follow the instructions. The man was arguing with me back and forth about ordering a pretzel on the app and that I had to download the application. He wasn't listening to me at all. I told him I had already ordered and paid for the pretzel. He kept on and on and didn't make any sense, and he was so nasty. Also, they don't seem clean in the store. Lady and man were extremely rude. Man was combative with me. The lady slammed my sandwiches into the green basket, and she didn't make any of the sandwiches correctly. Why do you even bother to serve customers if this is how you treat them?
Absolutely Horrible. Wednesday 12/08/21. The nasty animal making the sandwiches that night, yes I’m calling her animal because I’m being nice but that’s an insult to animals. What a horrible and miserable human being. Who ever hired this person pretty much wanted their business to fail. I have never experienced such rudeness in my life she was mad and rude because I showed up 45 minutes before closing. I ordered 3 out of the 5 sandwiches because they all had different toppings . She rudely complain that I only ordered 3 out of the 5 and urged me to give her the whole order because she was closing. From the minute I walked in, her demeanor and behavior made it obviously she hates the job. She takes her misery on the costumers. Wrong!! Go get another job that doesn’t require you interacting with humanity. If the person making your food can’t afford a belt or doesn’t know the proper way to wear pants just imagine how much they care about making your food. Definitely calling corporate.
Horrible customer service. I don’t understand why would you hire such a people who do not know how to speak to a customer. The spanish lady with the ponitail should be fired immediately. She’s bringing all bad business for you. And I also saw a few reviews from other customers complaining about the same lady. They also put her picture to make it clear to you all. That lady is really mean and rude and deserves no job. First she gets rude with the customer and then ask them to get out of the store. Either fire that lady or shut down your store if you do not have good employees working for you. Worst customer service, disrespectful employees, rude answers.
Incredibly rude and unprofessional employee behind the counter today. I've had a terrible experience every time I've been too this location, but today was without question the worst. I waited 10 minutes while the girl behind the counter slowly refilled every topping while looking up at me every 15 or so seconds with an annoyed look, making for a very awkward 10 minutes. About 5 minutes into waiting, I asked if I could place my order and, with an attitude, she said "when I'm done". She is the epitome of poor customer service and should be let go.
So I went there on my break to order a sandwich to get my usual. The person who took my order was a man with orange hair and was very rude with me. He didn’t give me any bread options and didn’t let me know what they ran out of and decided to grab the first thing he saw without asking if it was ok.I normally tip but I just didn’t appreciate his behavior and was just unsatisfied .
I ordered 2 Veggie sandwiches online on 05/12/2024. When I went to the store they said they didn’t have lettuce and cucumbers. Well, so what they had for my sandwiches was only tomatoes and pickles. Too bad. They said they can’t do anything about online orders. They refused to cancel order and didn’t substitute. Bad service and bad business. When ordered online, I should have been told that those items are not available. But no, they want to take my money for a scam. I never picked up the sandwiches and I told the server that I didn’t want something with incomplete order. They never refunded my money. I would never go to this restaurant.
I work for city of Miami Beach this is the worst customer services I ever receives and even see how those graveyard young man that work there so rude doesn't listen to customers non speaking English. Doesn't understand anything you say . They nasty doesn't wash hands .flirtatious while serving other customer. This place I wouldn't recommend for anyone I know to go there. I give graveyard shift a 0 for non efforts & customer service is wack they need training more.
The most arrogant, rude and ignorant server I have ever experienced. I took my kids here and they wanted to choose their own foot long. The ignorant woman tutted and shook her head every time they chose a filling. Then she proceeded to ask my son where he was from. When he replied ‘England’ with a huge smile on his face, she stared at me and gave me and my son the bitchiest look. Honestly, I could have punched the woman!!! Never would I recommend this place to anyone unless you are up for a fight!! Also, when we got home and checked our credit card statement, we were overcharged $50!! Absolute thieves!!
First of all no bread options. The older lady doesn’t know how to make a Philly cheese steak and tried letting us know that it obviously has steak in it. She then makes a big deal of the fact that we were building our own sandwich and apparently we were adding too many ingredients. She also called her coworker to come and help, given that it started getting busy and which she came out with an attitude, huffing that she now had to work. They didn’t really speak English but luckily we’re fluent in Spanish and I expressed to her that no Subway I’ve been to had rules for the ingredients. That’s why it’s build your own not a specific sandwich on the menu. Worst experience out of any subway I’ve been to. Rude and poorly trained.
I have never been to a Subway that is so horrible. The workers were extremely rude & without provocation. I placed an online order & when I came in the lady did not acknowledge me. After I told her I had an online order she continued to prep vegetables for a couple of minutes. My food was not pleasing. The bread was stall & so tough. I have never experienced this at another Subway. This place should close early if they can’t meet demands.
Worst service I ever got in a Subway. First there was only two types of bread but the worst were the 2 girls working there. They didn’t understand one single word of English. Not even basic words for a subway like “cheese” or even “water”.issues with customers before and after me because of that. They even dare to roll their eyes if we don’t understand what they said. We are in the IS, I don’t ask for perfect English but basic conversation skills are a must. Service was then super slow and messy. Never ever in this location
No English, smelled like someone had been airing out dirty diapers in that room all day. Food tasted bad and I couldn’t communicate with them to get them to actually make the sandwich correctly. Lettuce was brown as well. Should probably be shut down avoid at all costs!

Not worthy of a one. If you don't speak Spanish you should steer well clear of here. I've spent the last 12 hours with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The vibe was rude. The sandwich was terrible. The two young ladies who made it seemed incompetent. I was suprised by the language barrier. I'm here with my kids and I will never get this time back. My kids will never visit another subway again after experiencing what I just went through. At present I am too weak to follow up but I will be speaking to a lawyer.
Literally as I eat my sub I had to write this review. The worker wasn’t even looking at my sub while making it he was in his other peoples business. Just threw everything together like his eyes were closed. On top of that idk if it’s the bread meat or cheese but it taste like a pantry. Gross
Messed 4 peoples orders up in a row. I asked for a cheese steak and he made me a bmt. Younger guy who works here yells at customers and does not know what he’s doing. Don’t come here
Often eat at this store. It's a roll of the dice if the servers are going to want to do their job or not. I remember when Subway was "Have it your way. "... taking a leaf from Publix sub book, I explain I would like a foot long but with mayo spread on the bread before anything.. this is usually met with disdain.. how dare I suggest such a thing? Today was no exception. After glaring through the spreading of the mayo, the lady who seemed to be the size of the counter followed my directions without eye contact or making a sound.. after toasting and adding the veggies, the crown addition to the sandwich is hot honey.. when I asked for hot honey she looked right at it... and said "no". I said, there's no hot honey? She said "no". I go, there's no hot honey in the entire store? She said no. I asked, can you check for me? She said no. Store is clean and presentable.
The worker wasn't even paying attention while making my sub - just threw it all together. Absolutely no service.
I was treated very rudely by both servers. I won't explain why here, but there were long waits and they put more than three people ahead of me while I was ahead of them just because I complained when they did with the first one. Plus, it was by far the slowest service I've ever seen in my life. Very bad experience, I will never come back to them again. They don’t even deserve a one star
Worst service, unwelcome experience, unsatisfactory dine in, disagreeable employees (not in the mood to work) unpleasant atmosphere. They told me that the restroom was unable to used. The whole restaurant very dirty and all the guest were complaining about the wait time. Poor food, missing items to make sandwiches and unsanitary procedures. Overall not happy of my night: not recommended this place. I felt so inferior and inadequate time to choose to go eat dinner with a a friend. I need the management to contact me because this insane that we still have restaurant like this and the staff doesn’t care about anything. I hope the coach right the staff how to deal with guest and how to talk (because the have meant vocabulary. I can’t understand the habits of this place that they have careless with us. Please it’s a lot of details that they need to work on or this business it will not last long in the area. Because I had a terrible time. Please I don’t want to create an issue but it’s was a lot of details that made me this reviews. I felt uncomfortable and ashamed tonight. Thank you. I hope I receive any reply back.
The food was good; I was there with my dad around 9 pm However, we’re in America, and the workers couldn’t even speak a little English. One of the workers was very rude, while another was okay. Overall, the service was very bad. Wanted to order more because I was hungry but nevermind that I didn’t want to get irritated again.
Disappointing. I had a really disappointing experience at this Subway location. Today 01/02/2025 at 2:30 pm. The employees were talking loudly among themselves and using bad language, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. When I approached the counter, they were rude and didn’t even look me in the eye. I ordered a wrap, but it was poorly made—definitely not what I expected from a Subway. I left in shock at how unprofessional the service was. I won’t be returning to this location.
If I could give it a lower rating, I would! The guy running the counter looked unwashed and was grumpy as hell. When I ordered my food the guy threw together the nastiest sandwich I have ever tasted in my life. The meat tasted like it hadn't been refrigerated all day, the bread was soggy and gross and when I asked him to add a Small amount of salt and pepper he dumped half a bottle of each into the sandwich, wrapped it up, charged me, then basically threw the sandwich at me. WORST SUBWAY EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE HANDS DOWN!
Both times I've been here, the service was terrible. The first the lady rolled eyes at me when I asked what chips I could have, then said take what ever you want, very rude Then yesterday we got over charge ask the guy behind the counter. Can you refund for the being overcharged? just argued with us and yelling "you order "4 sub and a salad When we only ordered 3 subs and a salad as we were 4 people Then he started saying I don't speak English And I guess he can't count either I took my tip back, and he started filming us, saying we stole from him. I said, "Why would I tip you Service 0 stars
