poor guy was working alone at 11 pm. was yelled at by the guy in front of us. management needs to reward this man. give him a PAID week off. it's not fair for him to suffer and be yelled at when he's doing his absolute best. whoever else works there need to be better team players. who ever that man was deserves a raise and a hug. he made our order perfectly and was super nice.

This location served me the best Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger I ever ate. I've had it plenty of times, but not this delicious. Hopefully it was not just a miracle moment, and that they actually cook it with care and quality for better taste.

Passed by here late this morning earlier this afternoon with My Father. I don't go to Carl's Jr that much now these days, I only go when I bring the coupons to order. I used three coupons with two of them being "Buy One Get One Free" for the Milkshake and the 3 pieces of tenders, the third coupon was the 20 pieces of Chicken Stars for $8.99. The service was good, and the food was fresh and warm when receiving it.

Good for fast food. Nice discounts on the app. Restaurant is clean & comfortable. Team members are friendly, courteous, and efficient. I wish the dining room were open later. Dining room hours are 8 am to 8 pm every day. The drive-through is open until midnight, so after 8 pm, you have to take food home or eat in your car. The area feels a little schetchy at night.

FROM THE DESK OF: MEL'S MEMOS ~ I went to the drive thru at the one on the corner of San Juan and Greenback at around 7 am last I think Thursday morning and I was pleasantly welcomed by the coolest, most polite employee. She really did everything right and was prompt and I just want her boss to know she well deserves at the least *Kudos" for the way she is. It's not the first time she was there when I rolled thru, I just have never taken the time to commend her service which I definitely should have.. She's just an all around awesome person. Give her a raise or bonus or something. She's earning it everyday. But it's not every day you get an employee like her. I don't really know how to describe her except I think she was Hispanic and maybe middle-aged.. I didn't really need to know what she looked like because it was what's inside that made me notice. The western bacon was perfect. Fries were perfect. Service was helpful, quick, kind, professional and welcoming. Absolutely spotless dinning area. The men's bathroom didn't smell like a bathroom, which is rare for for a fast food joint that's been open this long. Plenty of parking available. I noticed the drive through running smooth. Very impressed by my visit last night. A few years ago I decided to not bother earing at this corner. But I can definitely vouch for this location now. OUTSTANDING. !!!!

The girl working the counter was so sweet to my daughter and I! It wasn't busy inside bug she kept herself busy tidying everything and just generally providing awesome customer service. We don't live in California, but I can say that I will most definitely try to make it back to this location before leaving state thanks to the wonderful service! Food was good as well, very fresh🙂

Ok, so had to change my review as my previous review was from TWO years ago and things have changed, for the BETTER. Just visited on 10/20/23 and the food was great! Management and staff have changed since 2 years ago and this crew is professional, courteous, and pleasant. The food was fresh, made to order, and prepared your way. Been going here for almost a year. It wasn't great, many times we ended up with old and cold fries/food. Well today there seemed to different people working than normal. It was the best Carl's Jr I've had in a long time. Hot and fresh. They were understaffed and it took a little bit for the food, but it was so worth it. I hope this new crew has permanently replaced the old one. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because I'm still kind of scared to end up with cold and old fries again lol Edited to give 5 stars. Came here last night around 7 pm. The girl taking my order was quick and spoke so clearly, I almost thought I was speaking to the Ai! The guy at the window was also very friendly and had great attitude. My food was hot, fresh and quick. I will be retuning very soon!! Best carl’s jr i’ve been to in a while honestly.

This Carls Junior was the best I’ve ever been to. When I walked in they rolled out the red carpet and bowed for me. I was then handed a crown and called your majesty for the whole experience. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked I swear Gordon Ramsey had to have made my meal. Definitely coming back to this fine establishment. May these workers get a raise.

I wanted to share a great experience I had at your location this past Sunday around 8 AM. I came in and ordered two breakfast sandwich combos and was greeted by a wonderful employee named Leslie. She was exceptionally kind, professional, and had the best customer service I’ve experienced in fast food in a long time. You could tell she works hard and genuinely cares about her job. In a time when great service can be rare, her positive attitude really stood out. This very kind woman left me with a smile on my face, and I sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves.

I think fast food, any fast food, is just garbage. But my son loves Carl's Jr and the guy who works at the drive through is just so nice and polite, so he's the reason for the 5 stars. He is very respectful and funny and really just such a breath of fresh air at the end of a long day when I have hungry kids in the car. And the order is always correct, never have to double check it.

Pretty good Carls Jr. Breakfast burger and chicken strips are my staples here. Just don't visit this location early morning as the sign will say open but no one answered on multiple occasions.

Drive thru window staff were friendly and special food order request was accurate (I order it no cheese). Quick service too! Yeah for those 3 checklist items! I'm only rating 4 stars because there was 1 small green chili on my Sante Fe Chicken sandwich. I thought it could have been a little more substantial considering it is one of the only condiments, other than lettuce, and lettuce only looked ok - I took it off. It would be fairly easy to make the sandwich just a tad more presentable.

At first, I was wondering why the lady through the intercom kept cutting off my mom and then suddenly disappearing. It made me pretty irritated, I understand the person working at the window has other things to do and deal with who is currently at the window but I would expect that more than one person is working a window. We pulled up to the window to get our stuff and ask for the extra pickles in a bowl on the side. Noticing that there are only 3 people working, I was in shock. They did really amazing, got the food out fast. I had just got some blood drawn and didn't eat all day, so they killed it. Thank you so much, Carl's Jr. will always be my favorite place of comfort and deliciousness.

We had breakfast during this visit. The biscuits were made on-site and were delicious. The food we had exceeded our expectations but was not five-star rated, barley four-star. The staff were friendly and professional. The building is an older location and the decor is very dated.

Everything would've been fine, but a lady brought in her dog which clearly wasn't a service dog... I'm not saying leave it in the car since it was hot, but I mean she had it at the table not even on the floor. Now I question how clean MY table is.

Great food, great franchise.. Poor service at this location I asked for ketchup packages, I was told rudely "you get it yourself by the soda fountain".. The responsibility applies to management, you hire rude employees , many customer will stop purchasing or going else where.. Manager at the place looks unhappy doesn't treat employees with respect, possibly why employees carry attitude towards customers.. Please clean the bathrooms..

Fabiola is the greatest asset this place has !! The sausage, egg and cheese biscuits today were dried out. I still managed to eat them, but not very good today.

Ordered Bacon Swiss Chicken Sandwich combo. Requested that the chicken be fresh and that I was willing to wait the 5 minutes to cook. Also asked there to be extra ranch on the sandwich. When I got the meal, the fries were old, and my fresh chicken was cooked previously and only put back into the fryer to heat it up. I know this because its color was a dark brown vs. a fresh, crispy golden color. 11:45am - The dining room was clean and it was not very busy. The bathrooms were dirty and were in desperate need of a deep cleaning. It's comparable to a park bathroom.

Why get ride of the meal numbers, makes the easy of saying I want a number 1 way more complicated and it’s a real turn off!

I did the drive through. So when I got home, as I only live a mile away, I checked my order to find that they did not listen. Eventhough they repeated my order back to me, I got the wrong fries and no sauce. It's pretty disappointing to not very what I am paying for, especially when their costs are noticeably higher than everyone else's. Their saving grace is the food was good.

Western bacon criss cut fries are good but a 4.00 rip off .Barely got any fries probably 8 if that.And need more toppings might have at another Carls jr to see if i get ripped off there too.

just got home after running through the drive thru for lunch. I have a 2,3 and 4 year old who got a wrestle mania cup (empty) as a toy, not happy campers. my older daughters hamburger bun is quite burnt and my bun is an the verge of burnt and tastes of it in some places....not impressed at all....

I dropped in yesterday, I came because I'm eating a low carb food plan and they have a great lettuce wrapped cheeseburger. But I decided to try something different; I ordered a chicken club sandwich and fried zucchini. The club has mayo chicken cheese bacon lettuce and tomato. With it lettuce wrapped it's a great choice, but they added BBQ sauce and brought it to my table with fries. So I waited and waited for the server to bring the zucchini. I finally had to get it myself. I chose to eat in. I guess setting the AC at 80 degrees was their idea of saving money. But I won't eat inside next time. I mentioned it to their mgr. And was informed that was the lowest they could go. I looked up the zucchini on their website to get a carb count and they were 30g of carbs. OMG! That's the same as 2 pieces of bread. They must use lots of sugar on this low-carb vegetable in the breading to get those numbers. With most Americans being overweight and many undiagnosed diabetics out there this is really insensitive of this company. Yikes! To wrap up: sweltering heat, sloppy attention, wrong orders, and sugar laden food = 2 stars.

I had ordered a large fry along with other items.I was asked to pull to the side along with 2 other cars behind me in the drive thru.When I went to pull the fries out of the bag they seemed half way full!The hamburgers in my order didnt seem hot at all or the zucchini! Will not be returning here.

This is possibly the worst Carl's Jr. By far. It has gotten better in the past year, but not by much. Burgers are still cold and fries are still not made to order. Even the soda has a funny flavor.

This Carl's makes mistakes. Single burgers all the time instead of double it triples. Make sure you check your food well. They dont pay attention. Go to the one at sunrise and old Auburn much better.

Their drink carrier broke and one of our sodas spilled. They would not even give us a refill... Not even the courtesy to listen and look at their bad drink carrier. They were quite rude. We complained to their manager and to their corporate office. Their manager took their employees word their corporate office offered us coupons but we didn't want to go back there due to the animosity of their employees. All the rest of the Carl's Jrs in the area are great.

Stopped by there today to grab a quick breakfast before taking the kids to school. I ordered the Grilled Cheese Breakfast Sandwich and the bread wasn't even toasted! My kiddos got the best French toast sticks, though!

I normally have a good experience I like the food people are normally friendly but today it was bad. I tried to order something and before I could order more than one thing she's giving me my total and telling me to drive around I had to tell her 3 times I'm trying to order more than 1 thing I'm saying I want more than 1 item and then I would order something else and then she would told me out again not giving me a chance to get my full order out then I had to tell her again I'm trying to order more than just this By the 3rd time having to repeat myself I'm trying to order more than a couple items I got fed up and drove away I shouldn't have to sit there and explain that I want more than one item I should deal to tell her

I haven't been here in a long time and I remember why... Over priced and while the food is good, service is pretty bad and they always get my order wrong. For a burger meal (#1) over $9 and with a shake it was over $14! And both times, I asked for no onions and I ended up BOTH times with extra onions. =? Surprised this place is still open - the times I go it's always empty.

This place just tried charging me $5.15 for 2 cups no ice or soda. Just wanted to give my dogs a drink of water. Won't come back there is a good one on sunrise and old Auburn go there instead

I just went there and picked up 4 of the 5 dollar box meals and all of the cookies were missing. The whole box looked like everything was thrown in there and there were hardly any fries at all. The drinks were disgusting and I didn't get a receipt!

This is the second time they messed up my order. I paid for Angus burger and chicken sandwich, instead I got two chicken sandwiches. Never again I will go to this place. I paid for something more than what I got...terrible customer service!

Worst Carl’s Jr. in Sacramento I live down the street and have to go here sadly because the closest one is another 4 miles out but they consistently mess up my order I swear almost on purpose at this point I’ll give them clear cut instructions and they promise they are listening and will “do there best “ they are so sad and sorry for every thing they hand to you that’s messed up I have had to come back multiple times and they never want to fix the mistake or own up to it and it’s funny because I speak with the same manger everytime and he says he’ll check it out for me personally and it’s silly that my order will still be incorrect for a place that charges 15 dollars a meal they are trash don’t waste your time nor money it’s all bad everytime

The fat dopey young mexican dude at the drive thru WILL short you cash GET A RECEIPT EVERYTIME. IVE BEEN SHORTED $10 my friend got shorted $5 a week later when confronted he fights you about it and then will try to give you less still without giving the receipt. WATCH OUT

this particular Carl's Jr. is near my work so I try to endure the incredibly poor drive thru service. The young lady at the window always seems to have a chip on her shoulder. Hey, if you hate your job go somewhere else and don't take it out on the customers. To top it off the steak in the breakfast burritos was freezing. At least the eggs were warm.

I ordered a number one minus a few things which they got correct. The problem was the burger, which was cold, the onions were not chewable and the french fries were hot but they were not fully cooked and greasy. I took it back and explained the situation and said I don't want anymore food. And is less time than it took to get my uncooked food I had a bag of hot food instead. The manager then came over and asked what the problem was and she informed me that they dont refund food. Then asked me what was wrong, again and I repeated myself. She then proceeded to tell me her food was off the charts. I gave her the food and drink back and she still refused to refund me. I paid $7.75 to listen to the General Manager Betty give me the run around then lie to my face. That doesn't fill my stomch.

The manager flor? Is always yelling at the cashiers and shift leaders, one of the cashiers is sick and is still around food. The manager tells her staff that if they are sick they still work, I have overheard this on many occasions. This store definitely needs new management. Came here at 5:30 Am as online it says they are 24 hours... There is a huge sign on their window that also says open 24 Hours...drove a different direction out of my way to work to come here as im pregnant & had a craving and they were not open... lights were on, all signs were off, 3 employee vehicles parked in front... i stoll went to the drive thru window just in case and no one came on the speaker.. Said hello many times and tried to call just to be sure and no anwser... im not sure... either way very unprofessional to have a huge sign saying open 24 Hours and have it posted on their website but to be closed. I hope Carls jr. gets a handle on this. They already are crazy expensive, dont have a good variety on their menu, no dollar menu, and they always always get your order wrong, not to mention they dont have a good variety of dipping sauce.. they took their sweet and sour sauce away and their chili cheese fries. I wont be coming back unless my baby inside me demands otherwise.

This place is SO disgusting and how they're not shut down by now is a wonder to me. I and some friends work in the area so we get lunch here quite often, or used to. I don't know what's happened to this location but to sum it up: I ordered a Big Carl combo w/jalapenos on my sandwhich and fried zucchini as the side. They made us pull to the side out of the drive thru even though we were the only ones there. When I got my burger the bun was stale! Not like over toasted or whatever STALE. It was an inedible brick. I decided to just eat the fried zucchini and when I took a bite of one.. basically it must have been cooked for 1 second because uncooked batter came squirting out of it. Not only is that disgusting but it's a health hazard! My friends' food was just as disgusting but they choked it down only to suffer severe stomach pains hours later. The same friend gave you the benefit of the doubt and ate here again only to once again recieve horror food and stomach pains. I can't even think about stomaching any Carl's Jr. At this point. Disgusting.

Horrible experience. Complete false advertisement. The double classic cheeseburger was smaller than advertised. They didn't include a fry I had ordered and when I called to inform them of the error they weren't even flexible with giving upsizing for the inconvenience of getting all the way home then having to drive back on THEIR mistake. The owner(s)of this place got to be the most cruel and careless human being on this earth.Ever since the covid-19 made them close the dining room to the public, they have made the employees work indoor without air conditioning and in a totally closed enviroment with no fresh air coming in at all,even when the heat was hitting the triple digits out there. Imaging how the cooks feel. This must stop please somebody do something about it inmediately please, as the summer it's just starting and more triple digits will come. PLEASE!!!

I have been to this place, each time spending over $50.00 dollars) and each time I have ordered multiple burgers. One of which is a famous star WITHOUT cheese and every time it's had cheese. I can not have cheese. Each time it's been thru the drive thru and I don't know until I reach home. I get to go hungry and someone gets and extra burger. It took 45 minutes for our food to be given to us, only for it to be super cold. The manager was rude and yelling at the customers that wanted their food or their money back. A man ahead of me had to leave without his food because he was going to miss his bus. All of this was happening because they were focusing on the drive thru and not the dine ins. I wish I would have got the managers name but she refused to come from the back and just had her teenage worker be the back and forth relay messenger. The teenager was doing her best and unfortunately get the worst end of the stick because everyone inside wanted to leave but couldn't I will never go to that Carl's Jr again and I'd recommend all against it as well

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I have lived nearby this place for 3 years and EVERY time I come here there is always a problem. Wrong drinks, customizations ignored or incorrect (once they got it wrong after 3 different attempts to go back through the drive thru on the same day, incorrect each time), weird tasting sodas, and issues with the drive thru person either not hearing or understanding me and taking forever to take my order. I used to like Carl's Jr. Now all these negatives just have piled on and I notice their buns are weirdly sweet (gross) and they're just SO expensive. I literally don't come here unless nothing else is available.

Food tastes terrible, feels very old, and is unpleasant to look at. Appearances dont need to be outstanding in fast food, but the food needs to be edible. Waste of money since I had to throw it away. No amount of customer service can change the quality of your food. Avoid this location at all costs. You won't enjoy your meal.

Don't walk, run away from this place. To say the food was lacking in quality is an understatement, the burger I got was closer to a piece of jerky than burger, not only that the staff are by no means happy to be working there... Just go to Wendy's or Burger King or In N Out. This place is terrible, the staff are rude and make you feel like any order you place is them doing you a favor, on top of that the food quality is lacking, especially for the exorbitant prices they charge.

When I ordered my food 2day when I got home my drink had mold and something stringy in it. I was appalled, very disappointed and disgusted. This was very foul it shows they don’t clean their ice machine, that’s against all county regulations. I will never go there again. I will make sure I let people know. Gross Carl’s Jr.!!!

I came here today and Rebecca was so rude and she disrespected me because of my accent! I WILL NOT be returning. This is racism. And should be addressed by management! Not to mention I tipped Rebecca and she rudely asked for more meanwhile she charged me for something I did NOT order. Overall horrible service. DO NOT come here.

Customer service at this location is very poor at best, rude and caustic. Drove through and ordered a breakfast BISCUIT and was read back to me as a biscuit. When I arrived at the window she had not placed my order and said my burrito will be ready soon. I stopped her and said I wanted a biscuit and she said " you need to clarify that next time we do have both you know" i said you repeated biscuit to me at the speaker and she said no I said a burrito. I get treated like this and scolded because she wasn't paying attention and forgot to place my order ........BS.

The food was horrible. First the lady that took out ordered seemed put out. Second I order the angus western bacon cheeseburger. Way overly salty, patty was half off my bun and the smallest onion rings ever. The got the el Diablo smothered fries all the toppings were buried in the middle of the fries very little sauce and like 4 jalapeños. Definitely will not return to this location.

Wait 2 burgers 50 min Crazy Never again

I live in the neighborhood so this location is close enough for me to walk. So I was very disappointed by the fact the doors were locked at 8:15pm for dine in. Especially since I was able to walk across the intersection to Del Taco and was able to dine in there.

Worst Carl's Jr experience ever...service was polite and fast but good was horrid...I ordered double pickles and got double jalapenos instead,my zucchini was frozen in middle and lemonade was just water as it tasted like syrup had ran out...my wife's burger was supposed to have extra pickles as well and she got none. Really disappointed and won't come back to this location and will prob just order from the one that's a further drive but has never done bad food for us..

There were 3 associates taking drive thru orders, while me and the other customer were waiting for them to finish. One person could have helped us instead of taking the next drive thru order so we didn't have to stand around for that long. It's great to see that a place like this has good men power but it's not used wisely.

Do not leave the drive thru until you have checked your entire order. That includes making sure there is the proper number of patties on your cheese burger. After paying be sure to cross check what you actually ordered to what they charged you. I frequent this place because it is the only burger place on my way home from work. I am not exaggerating when I say they get my order wrong 8 out of 10 times.

The service wasn't the greatest or worst . Ordered a burger and it took forever for the person to understand just 1 burger no meal. Ordered 2 chocolate shakes... the shakes are normally (at least from other Carl's Jr locations) super thick and hard to drink... I got the complete opposite. Watery like a glass of normal chocolate milk. As if the ice cream sat out and melted all day long. Will not be going back to this location. 😕

This place is trash, super rude employees that will just continually interrupt you while getting your order wrong then just walk away saying nothing. These are children that are too cool to flip burgers . I won't be returning to any carls . The names fallen to low . I can't rely on them for a basic decent experience .

I came to make an order and asked for 3 cutlets. When I paid and received my order, I checked that the burger was without 1 cutlet. I said that there were not enough cutlets in the burger and he snatched the burger from my hands and started counting cutlets with his hands and without gloves. And he gave it to me and said that there were 3 of them there, but I asked him to redo the burger because he was without gloves, he shouted in my face Go home and closed the window. I waited for my burger and asked to say Sorry miss, he didn't even come up to me and another girl closed the window. I knocked on the window and asked to apologize, but they said no. I parked and went inside and asked for the supervisor's number and he swore at me. I went back for my order and asked for a hotline number or supervisor, but they kept yelling at me and kicking me out. In a stressful situation, I accidentally spilled a Coca Cola and manager Matthew splashed ice water into me. I just asked to apologize. The police came and I told the whole situation. I ask you to tell your employee how to behave with customers and return my money. I believe that this person is dangerous for your business and for your customers. Thanks. I look forward to a speedy review of this case.

Visited this Carl's Jr. on 12/21/24 at 4:13 pm order # 333794. Order 2 hamburger, 2 fries and onion rings. 1 burger was the Double Diablo for $10.89. When we got home my husband noticed the burger only had 1 patty. Burger should have been made with 2 patties. I called the store # 1100286 and had to leave a msg. Surprised to receive a call back shortly after. The young man whom I believe said he was the shift manager listen to my complaint and stated that he would need to contact the store manager to verify whether I could receive a refund which was what I was requesting and that he would call me back. Very surprised to receive a call back within 5 minutes. I was told that I could receive a refund. I stated that I could not come back until the next day. He took my husband's first and last name and assured me the refund would be given to my husband. Well my husband arrived at the store this morning around 10:40am and spoke with a gentleman cashier. He said he had no idea what my husband was talking about and that there was no manager on site so my husband would have to come back tomorrow. Then he just walked away to help a customer. He didn't even try to contact anyone/manager. Very rude young man. This is the only Carl's Jr we ever go to but not anymore. If you agree to give a customer a refund you damn well better make sure to do what you agreed to. I'll never visit this Carl's Jr again. Very Bad business

Food was good !!!!! but was made super sloppy like jus thrown together how rude of the staff …and the older heavy set Mex lady wasn’t very pleasant either ..place was empty and she took for ever to take our order ..thank goodness carls jut be good at any time Oh I added my hash browns to my sandmich made it way better to 😉 #Foodie

Was asked to park and wait for fresh chicken and instead we got burned chicken in our grilled chicken burrito, it had no cheese and no hot sauce. So dry and they made us wait 10 minutes in the parking lot.

When I drove back to have it replaced they didn’t apologize but did replace it. They can’t lettuce wrap a burger to save their lives and it overall sucked in comparison to others I’ve tried. I frequent Carl’s Jr and am usually very happy but this place is utter garbage. There’s a location on Douglas near sunrise that is way better and worth the free extra minutes you might have to drive.
