I used to go to Starbucks for my coffee but after going once to McDonalds and being greeted and attended by Marisol, I continue to go to this McDonalds. She already knows who I am and it never fails, she is ALWAYS so attentive and greets everyone with a smile and it’s really nice to get that because it’s rare to get that kind of service these days. Thank you Marisol! 🙏

This was a great pick me up for my daughter after getting immunized. The staff was amazing! They took her order from her and even sympathized about the shots. When she accidentally got a boy toy they let her pick the replacement! In a world that seems to be fast becoming less and less family oriented, it was wonderfully refreshing to see that some places still care. By far the best McDonald's I have been to in over 10 years! Thank you for remembering that parents spend money and kids are people as well. Bravo!
Someone actually took my order. Voluntarily! Really, it's a decent place. Clean, quiet, and affordable, as always. At least with McDonald's you know what to expect. You'll get it here. 🙂

When we went they had good service. Some of their soda options were limited. But food was fresh.
Not the worst Mickey D's in the valley. Would have given a 5 star rating if my coffee wasnt cold last time I got it from this location. Usually cashiers are friendly, food is usually nice and hot.
Quick, clean and consistent with food quality. Hopefully you catch them when they take it up a level, cause then there's no wait even though the drive through is full with cars. Then it's 5 stars in the night.
It is a trend to hate on McDonald's because of many stories, some may have been made up. This McDonald's is very welcoming, staff is amazing and do their job quickly. The interior is so pleasing to the eye because they keep it rather clean. The 4 stars are for the staff -1 star for the food. The food itself is average, I really only come here when I go to places after school and I haven't eaten yet. I come here only around once or twice a month.
It's great that the drive through is open 24 hours. They are in the process of having some work done on site so sometimes it's a bit of a maze to get to and through the drive through window but service is quick and the food is always fresh and hot. Drinks are always ice cold and refreshing. The employees are super friendly and always have a smile. Will be back soon!
Prepare for long drive thru waits. Food is mid. Staff seems a bit on the pessimistic side. Like a smile and greet wouldn't hurt.
Got order completely wrong. Added onions to burgers and I'm allergic to onions. Double big Mac was a joke. It was so sloppy one of the tiny patties was bent in half on the burger and thrown together. You can't get the sugarfree vanilla iced coffees correct. For the prices you charge your service from management is completely needing re-training and your line cooks need to be retrained. Very sad.
a customer service that makes you feel uncomfortable even when ordering your food. The people who brought the food to the car seemed to be in a bad mood or lazy. lack of ketchup sauce that we ordered among others. very, very slow service. honestly the improvement in your customer service staff needs better. thank you for your work and respect!
Always a long line in drive thru. Slow service. But at least they cook the food well and get it right. They need to give their employees more help. More hands on quicker service
I don't understand why you can't just give me my food at the window. Every single time I have to take a number. It's not like you cook everything fresh just give it to me.
Worst service ever. I've ordered there numerous times and each time they are completely unorganized, the person at the drive thru always sounds dazed and confused. the order is never right when I get to the first window to pay and when I get to the pick up window they never fail to forget something. Nobody there seems to care how awful they are either, they take no pride in their jobs, or their appearance. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever visited.
This is probably one of the worst McDonald's I've been to here In the valley. EveRyan time I come here it is horribly filthy. It seems like no one cleans the lobby. The customer service is hit or miss. I've had to wait up to 10 minutes at the register before anyone took my order. I would say avoid this place of you can .
Took too long to get service, long wait to get the order . Food taste was marginal, didn't expect this service from McDonald's, but the employees were having very nice conversations. Will have second thoughts about revisiting this location.
The overall quality of the food has diminished somewhat still enjoy getting fresh French fries not stale ones and a decent Burger the way… Problem that most of these facilities have is they require you to either have cash only or credit card only and you don't find that out until you're in line and it's just a complete nightmare other than that excellent snack
Honestly drive thru used to be quick ... but now they park 4 cars.. in my case i never have big orders! But its only certain hrs that they Start parking random cars because it's their Mystery Shop hour! They always mess up on the order they miss something they add something extra...
I noticed most of the empty tables dirty as I walked in. No napkins in both the napkin dispensers. My food arrived with no napkins, so I explained that the dispenser was empty. The staff filled the dispenser and made me go get my own napkins. No custom service. The place was not busy at the time. All trash cans were full
The customer service is extremely slow, and you end up waiting for your order. If you are in drive thru the wait can be even longer,especially if they decide to park you. While you can see the cars Behind you getting their orders, while you're stuck waiting. sometimes I've been there to get coffee at 3:30 am and had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to get it . I'm guessing that the employees there just don't care, or maybe it's just that they're tired of being mistreated by the management which I've seen on occasion.
what is the point of ordering through the app and selecting pickup inside if your lobby is closed...? Like why not just turn off the option to do that? And to not even allow you to cancel the order when you don't wanna wait 20 cars deep in the drive through..? absolutely frustrating and a waste of my time 😭 being forced to wait so I don't waste money is crazy when it's all easily avoidable
Out of all the McDonald’s in the desert, this is probably the worst one. Every single time I place a mobile order I have to wait tops 20 minutes to get my food at the curbside pick up area. What’s the point of ordering ahead of time if I have to wait so long. It never fails that when I ask for condiments they act like they’re paying for them themselves, I ordered $30 of food the other day and the girl gave me TWO packs of hot sauce…. Really? Customer service is also not the best.

Horrible McDonald's I've ever been to. I paid for my meal in the drive thru and I was told to please pull forward and to parked my car. I waited 20 minutes for meal and no one showed up. I had to go in to the resteraunt and ask for my meal. The manager she avoided to speak to me and did not give me my order, until the drive thru cashier aknowledge me and remember my order then she gave me my order. The food was so dry, stale and cold. Please save your money and time. If I could I would give them No Stars.

Order was botched 1/2 of my order was missing I had to return my botched order and the manager on shift did replace my entire order while waiting I purchased 4 hot apple pies when they replaced my entire order they only had 3 hot apple pies and refunded me for 1 hot apple pie God Bless McDonald's they need it! 1 Star was for effort they didn't have 1/2 a Star lol.
Asked for well done fries, got soggy half-full unsalted fries. Cashier took my cash and handed me back the change, then went on to stick her hands in the fry box and started playing with the box with her hands inside still. BLEGH

Terrible service, the absolute worse to be honest. Outside there is a sign that says “Come In for Take Out” so I went in but it turns out it’s only drive thru. I see that extremely unfair for those that are low income and do not have a car. The employees were also very rude. Never coming back to this location even though I live 5 minutes away from it
They never get my order right.. Edit: so this restaurant management just can not get an order right.. they done it to me i dont even know how mnay times now, and for commenta i read, they do it alot.. Well this time i think they are doing it on purpose because i order a sausage mcmuffin with no cheese and with bacon, and guess what, I got a saudage mcmuffin with out sausage..
worst mcdonald’s in the valley lmao. employees i dealt with during dinner were very rude. girl taking orders was rushing and didn’t even take our order right and homeboy at window ignored us when they forgot our large fry and walked away from the window waiting for us to leave. this store always forgets items.

TODAYS order was complete. But more often than not my orders are usually lacking either missing something or the fries are limp and cold, the soda is flat or the specialty pies i order turn out to be Apple pies. Friday Sept 18 2020 I ordered 6 sausage mcmuffins, 1 w/o cheese. Im allergic, lactose intolerant. Should be easy. I asked for 8 salsa pkts. So I didnt have breakfast. ALL the muffins had cheese. And the rest of the crew had to share 3 pkts of salsa. I also ordered a M ice macchiato, so turns out sice it is considered espresso the size is actually a small. And I was unable to get the straw into the cup due to the amount of ice that was in the cup. So I actually got ice w coffee not coffee w ice. I ended up drinking water downed milk w coffee. I understand w the current situation serving customers just in the drive thru is difficult or stressful but not getting orders right time after time is not ok. I can go to other McD in indio or even in coachella and get correct orders time after time and IF something is wrong it is corrected w/o any trouble or attitude from the workers. Managers for this Mcd dont even reach out to say sorry at least. Customer service and work ethic is non existent at this particular location. You have to pay for what they give you, not for what you order, because if you do speak up you get attitude and argument from the staff.
This McDonalds sucks. It looks like it always has business but it's their slow speed of service that has the lines long. They take FOREVER here! Be prepared to be in the drive thru line for about 20-30 minutes. I also have had a bad experience using the coupons with the McDonalds app here. It wasn't the app that gave me problems, instead it was the workers. You can only use two coupons per car, which is okay I guess, but it is kind of annoying when it comes to you having more than 2 people in the car because they won't allow it at all. You have to make two separate orders when using the coupons, which in understandable, but you need to make sure they charge you for both orders, and they give you your food because there has been plenty of times where they give me the first order and not the second. They also do not give you napkins or ketchup, so be sure to ask for them before you leave. The fries are usually burnt or it looks like their holding time is getting to a near so ask for unsalted fries because they have to make fresh ones when you order unsalted fries and then ask for salt to salt them yourself. The inside is okay looking. I hardly see anyone using the touchscreen panels to order food. It doesn't make sense when the cashier is just right there and it would be way quicker. I can see that working in bigger McDonald locations like the one in Indio off 111, but there really is no need for them. As for their customer service, I would rate them a 1 star because they always have attitude here and they argue and fight with you when your food isn't made right or when you ask for sauce, etc... I used to work in fast food so I know how it is, and when people complained or something was wrong we would make the order with no hesitation. I witnessed an incident with a lady and a crew member arguing over the fact that they didn't give her an item. She barged out to go get the receipt and showed them, but the worker should of just gave the customer her food. Occasionally you will come across some skinny girl with glasses who is rude to everyone. She should quit and look for work elsewhere if McDonald's is making her miserable. Her name starts with a "C." Overall, it's the closest one to me besides the one on 48 but if you have extra gas to spare, I would recommend going to another location as this one is just a big headache and the food isn't fresh.
No coffee or orange juice available today and they got my son's McMuffin order wrong it should have had sausage, instead it had a tiny slice of ham. I'm disappointed to say the least. I really wanted orange juice.
They deserve 0 stars. Stood in line for breakfast(10am)for 0ver 20 minutes. While the cashier kept looking at his phone. Well 10.30 came by, and he then proceeded to turn away a couple and his family. Saying they dont serve breakfast anymore. So they walked off. It was my turn, and I was told the same thing. Like why are we guilty for their slow service. We're in line, your not going to honor your breakfast menu cause its 2 minutes pass 10.30. Unbelievable

This is the worst McDonalds in the valley, i went through the drive thru asked for only two items and make me park. I was waiting for 20 minutes. If i wanted to wait i wouldve gotten off and ate in the lobby while i ses all the cars in the drive thru leaving with their food
This McDonald’s should be shut down. I’m not one to trash talk because people do work hard however, here it seems like no one is working! Orders are always wrong and missing which makes us go back, Manager doesn’t know how to train staff decent customer service, and all in all , if I could rate this 0 stars I would. I really hope they all clean up their act. Come here if you want a bad experience.
I don’t understand how they have me wait for over 10 minutes for my order . Still havingt food in there hand they give it to the car next to us . I see the man say it’s not his order but he opens the bags and touches it . The employee still has the nerve to try to give us that food that was already been touched by some one else . The employee tells us he changed the bag , the bag is not the issue our food being touch by another person is . I will no longer buy from Coachella MCDS . They are always giving us a hard time . They need to watch who they give there orders to and make sure it’s correct !
No stars if I could. The drive-thru clerk taking my order was extremely rude. The McDonalds app wasn’t working properly and I asked for customer service and she refused. I asked for her name and with attitude told me Dianna. Spelling it out sarcastically. I ask for a manager and she was just as unprofessional. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me and said when I pulled up to the receiving window she would give it to me there. THEN WITH ATTITUDE…she said “okay…love you” ?!?!?!?!?!?! I’m thinking are you serious?!?!? I pull up to the window and ask for the information again…her name and a number to call. They start laughing and refuse to give me the information. We did not pull forward without the info. Then when they give me the info they wrote down a bogus phone number and stated that the managers name was Nora. By the time we get home we notice our whole order is wrong and they up-charged us and took away our mobile order promotion.
We ordered and they told us to wait at number 7 pickup, the car behind us was serves FIRST. EVERYONE LEFT AND WE WERE STILL THERE. Worst franchise ever
Gave me wrong order and when asked for them to fix it they refused and said come back tomorrow. They then stated well refund you the money but give back the food I said ok then they said never mind come back tomorrow. Waited 30 min for the food and they charged me double for it. Never have problems like this here horrible customer service and attitude. Also there are apparently no managers at night

Probably the worst McDonald’s in the valley. They keep forgetting items and the attitude is whatever. Keep kicking myself in the butt as to why i still go there! Example: I ordered a small fountain drink but they bring me a med with no ice and when I asked about the ice they say at least it’s a med not a small.
The staff is rude. I work for an ambulance company and when I went up to ask if I can place an order with them, the girls were really rude and just walked pass me like I didn't exsist. They said I'd have to go through the drive-thru or download the app. Both don't work because at any moment we could get a 911 call and have to leave. At one point I was let in just to be told by the manager that they don't do dine in orders. I don't feel like I'm entitled to anything, but the rudeness was uncalled for.
Drive thru people are rude. When they ask for sauce I would think a good 4-5 is fair but when they just give out 1 for a whole 40pc uhmm noo!! They only give out one like if it’s coming out of their pocket/ check
Horrible customer service. Wouldn’t honor the mobile app promo where I’ve used at almost every other McDonald’s. When I tried changing it so it could be honor they told you CANT add on orders! Who in the world doesn’t let anyone add on to their order?? What a horrible business plan. Hopefully the owner sees this and change their “manager” policy so it can make more profit.

I had placed a moblie order for curbside and my app wouldnt load for me to put the crubside number. I spoke with a manager (night female manager) who claimed since it was past 15 mins the order gets canceled automatically. But when i go home the app said to put a curbside number for them to bring my food out. Then all of a sudden I got an email stating they canceled my food. Why cancel someone's food? Why not give me my food I paid for rightfully and showing a receipt?! She made me feel like I was trying to steal and she was completely rude. Idc how busy your work is. If your not cut out to be a manager or handle situations that are more then hand out food and taking orders you should find a more suitable job! And I'm a Line Cook so I respect food workers but this manager needs to be educated on how to handle situations better

I ordered a mocha frappe. I’ve had them throughout the years and enjoy them. For the first time I received one that had some sour aftertaste to it. I had my daughter tried as well and she tasted the same thing. I thought it might be the milk or whipped cream so we threw it away. I contacted the McDonald’s headquarters and they emailed me telling me to contact you. The case Number: 30437964. The reply was written by Carlo Luis. I rarely have bad service here but I have had a handful of times. I normally don’t like writing bad reviews but today is the day. Bad service. I ordered a hazel but coffee. I got a blank ice coffee. Im already at work do I can’t go back and get a new one. I drive all the way to la Quinta and realized it when I took my first sip of coffee which I was expecting to make my day. They would not compensate me for the mistake they made. Thanks. Bad service. Gas is not cheap. And Time isn’t either.
I order the new mcflurry and when i got to the second window after they charge me they told me they didnt have it..so like i had already payed it i got the mm's one and also i as for a strawberry shake and one chocolate i got home it was vanilla i didnt notice at the time i was in the window because it was dark and i was tires..but as soon as i got home i saw that vanilla..what a waste..i really wanted the strawberry one..dissappointed..the Girls should pay more attention and communicate when ur out of a items
April 21st 2024 at 1:30am: drive through lady refused to sell me 3 Ranch Sauces and 1 Sweet N Sour, she said they don't sell sauces. These people don't deserve 20 dollars just to be as lazy as before. Fired this lady immediately!
Today... March 22, 2023 I visited McDonald's and had the worst experience with the lady at the register which said she was the manager. She was so unprofessional and rude, first she said I couldn't use my rewards/deals because there was a line behind me which was 2 people who didn't seem to be in a hurry and second wouldn't allow me to even scan my phone to receive points. If she is the manager like she claims to be than she definitely needs some training on customer service and basic manners. Whatever happen to customer is right, or at least giving them the opportunity to be a customer.
Every time I come here they always make me wait in the parking lot like really ? Why so you can attend the car behind me sooner if that case I should just let the car behind and the car before that first. so I don’t have to wait so long while they attend the other cars in the back first and the fries are always cold
The manager is so rude. I got there exactly at 2:00 am and waited for my food and received the wrong order. I came back to claim my food and they didn’t want to give me my refund since I had agreed it was my order supposedly it was all my fault when she is the cashier and she’s supposed to give me the right order without asking me. They proceeded to tell me to wait in line to get my order correct and when I got to the window the manager that is missing a lot of teeth was screaming at me and being so rude when I never insulted her. The manager is super rude. Every time I go to this McDonalds there’s always something wrong either the wrong food order or they give you an attitude. Overall I left at 2:50 without my food and the manager didn’t wanted to give me my money back because it was my fault and not theirs. Even tho I had their food that they gave me wrong they still insisted on not giving me my money back. At the end I didn’t leave until she’s gave me my money back but never got my food. So unprofessional the manager screamed at me infront of my related. Never did I get disrespectful but she did she was screaming at me and yelling at me for a mistake she made. I’m gonna talk to whoever is responsible for the restaurant to never hire people that don’t know how to do their job.
Rude manager Celeste @23:30 instead of completing my order. Goes into an unnecessary argument about being closed after I changed my mind on two cheese burgers to two quarter pounders. Yet she's working the drive thru and I'm a local truck driver that apparently can't access the drive thru. She claimed she can get in trouble for changing the order that would make sense if they had made the other burgers already
The place is clean and well equipped. However, as I was going to place my order, the cashier (Laura) asked me what I was going to have and I told her, but she wasn't paying attention. Instead she was engaged with another customers problem while that other customer was being helped by another employee. I had to repeat my order to her 3 times before she could even process what I was trying to order. Poor and unprofessional service.
ok first they didn’t give us our food even when we first got it they assured us it was there. we only had half of anything we ordered and so we went inside and asked for the rest. MANAGER AND WORKER were both so rude and accused us of LYING about not having all of our food. I couldn’t even believe it, they were talking in our faces forgetting we were even there. then they accused the kids of hiding the food in the car, we payed for our meal and we were never given it. Terrible customer service at the drive thru window, both the boy and girl like to argue with customers and they always fail to provide napkins. This location needs new management as it always has a dirty dining, dirty mens restroom. I always go to this mc donalds between 12-8pm and i can say that this shift is the worst shift at this location. I also tried placing a $347 dollar order, so i can provide lunch for my company and the manager said to call another mc donalds for that because they couldn’t take that order here.

I never complain about missing food and the time i did, workers called me a liar. They said they remember putting my sandwich in bag, but then why did they forget to place the mcdouble that i was missing? Makes no sense. I got a 40 piece chicken nugget through the app. I requested six barbecues. I only got two. And to top it off, my fries and nuggets tasted like they’ve been sitting in the counter for five hours
Yesterday, 1/23/2026 like around 7pm went and buy 2 happy meals the 4 piece nugget, and a Big Mac and a #3 on the menu (dont remember the name) my son and I ate the hamburgers and we now have vomit and diarrhea, my two other kids ate the nugget so they're fine, definitely it was the hamburgers, try to contact the store to let them know byt couldn't get a hold of them. Drive tru really bad about 25 min to do my order and when I got to the second window they send me to the pick up section and waited another 15 min.
Old over salted fries I don't know how people make working at a fast food place so difficult went 3 times in past week same thing every time.
Really poor service from staff and manager , manager was very dismissive about wanting to give anyone a refund . Kept telling people that there are other people waiting for food when the people asking for the refund has been waiting over an hour . Would not recommend as they had me and my husband wait as well for 40 mins and screenshot when I placed my order to the time it took to talk to the manager from 9:13 till close to 10 a.m.

Lady making the burgers wiped her face 3 diffrent times while remaking my mcchicken and she still didnt change gloves while making other burgers thats serious cross contamimation
Went drive through and was parked waiting for my foor for over 30 minutes bad customer service whole point of fast food is to get the food and leave they where serving other cars who came after me and I did not order alot of food. Disappointed
The drive-up experience today was incredibly disappointing. I arrived at my designated time, checked in immediately, and then waited. And waited. And waited some more. It was a ridiculously long and frustrating wait, and for what? My coffee was no longer warm, and the food was cold. I'm not sure what went wrong, but the quality of the service and the food was not worth the wasted time.
Incredibly disappointed that a location advertised as open 24 hours is anything but, after a long day of work I arrive only to be waved off from employees within the store and greeted by cones closing off the drive thru; fix your hours, California business and professions code 17500 classifies incorrect business hours as false advertising
Will no longer be going to this McDonald’s for coffee. Every time I get an iced coffee here with a shot of espresso it’s always too milky, too watery, or just plain bad. As well as the presenter at the window just has a terrible attitude “iced coffee here you go”. Didn’t even greet me or anything just handed me my drink and that’s it. The McDonalds on Avenue 48 will never do me wrong always great service and food over there!
Staff were unprofessional, rude, and very non compliant. I arrived at the curbside put the number and waited for my food that was placed and I emphasize this to staff that the order was placed (I double checked and everything seemed good to go) waited over 10 minutes seeing cars come and go, yet I still waited. So, I finally checked my app and it notified me to go inside to pick up my food. I did exactly as told, going inside and talked to the cashier which they then denied me my food. I was told supposedly the order wasn't "processed" even though I showed them the receipt on both my email and within the app. After conversating with the staff it was starting to escalate into an argument (because they tried saying it was a user error when it is clearly a system error) saying I was in the wrong and they could not give me my food since it was "canceled" (it was indeed not canceled). They failed to show me that it was cancled and they did not resolve this peacefully at all. Overall, the experience was horrendous, the staff needs better training on how to treat their customers with respect and learn how to better manage a situation and descalate a problem. Do not go here and expect a good experience.
I just went to mcdonald right now & this is the amount of fries that where inside this bag! And then corporation of mcdonalds is complaining they don't have any customers. And then they gave me the wrong order I ordered sprite but they gave me a coke instead 😡 absolutely horrible service here
I'm beyond disappointed with my visit to this McDonald's June 14, 2024, at 8:32 pm. I specifically asked for an Inside Out 2 toy with my Happy Meal, and the staff even confirmed my request at the window. But guess what? I ended up with a Thor: Love and Thunder toy from way back in 2022! I mean, seriously? If they were out of Inside Out 2 toys, they could have at least had the decency to let me know. Instead, I'm left feeling like they just couldn't be bothered. I hope that McDonald's can improve their communication and ensure that customers receive the correct toys with their Happy Meals in the future.
Terrible service waited more than 30 mins for a curbside pick up and I was the only car waiting. Couple cars in drive thru. Had to make my way in to let staff know about my order. If you order through the app, I suggest you don’t just do drive thru they will forget about you. Or not even come out and ask if your waiting for an order.
