Really great food and the staff is super sweet. Better prices and fastee than "fast food". Small BBQ place with small indoor dining. Definitely, would stop again and highly recommend.

My favorite barbecue joint anywhere in the area. Smoked and pulled pork or beef, tasty ribs, sausage, fresh pork skins. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. They don't take credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or check. Only open 11-6 Thu-Sat. Oh yeah, and don't forget your appetite!

Wonderful experience, I grabbed my order to go. However I look forward to going back and dining in with this wonderful staff. Very customer service oriented. Wide selection of food on the menu. I tried the chopped beef sandwich!! Very juicy!! I was tempted to try the ribs,

I was impressed, the food was excellent. I had fish and rib dinner with okra and collards. The fish was okay, it was lightly breaded but the ribs were the star. They were tender like butter and tasty even without sauce. Be sure to bring cash because they don't take cards. There is an ATM machine if you don't mind the additional fees. With that being said, I'll definitely be back again and bring some friends alone. Next time I'm getting the variety plate.

So I made a 9-hour drive to try this restaurant, and I have to say it was worth every hour of the trip! First, the customer service was amazing and even though I caught them close to closing they were super nice and friendly and the food was amazing! I wasn't able to dine in since they were closing but it doesn't matter I would have eaten this food off of the sidewalk. I got the chopped beef sandwich, the dry rib dinner with hush puppies, mustard potato salad, and baked beans. The hush puppies were a pleasant surprise I could have eaten these bad boys all day long, definitely the best I've ever put in my dirty mouth! The potato salad and baked beans were also very good. The ribs were simply to die for. I enjoyed them both dry and with barbecue sauce. The beef sandwich was also super tasty (that was my appetizer 😜). If I could give this place 10 Stars I would definitely do it because it is so far the best BBQ restaurant that I have visited in the country. Make sure you run and don't walk to this place.

Family run, dry rub ribs very tender with just a little snap left, twice cooked chicken is smoked then fried and is delicious. Most importantly Mrs Mavis is putting her foot in those peach fried pies.

OMGoodness. Y'all need to drive straight past those other BBQ places and come here! The pork and beef melt in your mouth. The smoked boudin sandwich was superb especially for someone who's not from Louisana making it! The owner was on site and working just as hard as the waitress, he was very friendly and actually sat down to talk to every table. We will be returning!

Good amount of smoke in the ribs and chicken. Pictured is the twice cooked chicken that is smoked and then deep fried, moist and good, but I like the ribs better. The will bring out some pork skins while you wait and pretty tasty with bbq sauce. I think the best bbq in Conway.

Me and my husband just moved here from Dallas, Tx and we came in to try the pull pork sandwich, and it was really good , we will be ordering again, and the customer service was a 10 out of 10 for sure!

Wife and I decided to go to hog pen for lunch. It has been years since I have last eaten here. We both ordered the pork lunch plate. I had the potato salad and hushpuppies with mine and the wife has fried okra and baked beans. All four sides had great flavor and the pork was good. They only had once sauce option which was good but I wish they had a spicy option available on the table. We also had a smoked boudin link which had great spice in it. Over all we had a great lunch. Only thing that threw me for curve ball was they only accept cash or checks. We were lucky that my wife had some cash on her at the time.

I've passed by this spot dozens of times and finally decided to give them a try. You see the sign from the main street but the entrance is on the side street in the back. I had the ribs and fish combo plate, which comes with 2 fish filets, 3 rib bones, hushpuppies, Texas toast and 2 sides. The sides (baked beans and mustard potato salad) were ok. The fish was good but IMO they dropped the ball on the tartar sauce. It has a sweet flavor to it, like they added sugar or something. There's another fish spot that spices up the tartar sauce. I prefer just standard no-frills tartar sauce. Just my preference. The ribs were decent as well but a bit dry. Not like over-cooked dry but lacking moistness. They had the smoky flavor and were tender, and I do realize they specialize in dry rub ribs, but for me they were just ok. There's a bottle of bbq sauce on the table but that doesn't really help much. The service was good and one of the workers brought a little bag of complimentary fried pork skins to my table, which was a nice touch. Overall a decent experience but I have had better ribs.

My Ribs Sandwich was mostly burnt and some parts of the ribs was fresh and the other ones were dry and hard

Called in a order talked to the stupidest person ever. She lost my order had to order again, ribs were terrible, fish was decent. Will never go back.... they suck....
