Great food and service! I had a great experience. Being a Sunday evening going through the drive through, I expected a wait, but I didn’t have to wait long at all. There were a few cars ahead of me, but the staff was on it though! They were organized, and on top of things! While I was waiting at the window, I could hear them managing cars they moved ahead and stopped sending cars ahead so as not to have too many cars piled up and waiting for food. They did a great job, my food was great, the order was correct and fast…they were kind and professional. Great staff!! Great job guys! Thanks for the great service!!
I am absolutely amazed of the quality of the chicken at this location in Corpus Christi compared to the far more disappointing in San Antonio where I now live! That in Corpus had lighter breading and is less greasy than in the Mission City. Need to ask for those in the northern city to visit their partners South and learn. I will always prefer this company’s product above the others as they are consistently better tasting, crispy, and not as greasy as the competition! I will not buy the others despite their attempts to copy the spiciness and the size! I encourage the competition to try to match or supersede Popeyes.
Brian Garza, the new manager, is so amazing ! Has wonderful customer service and is very sweet! The food is delicious and hot ! Everything you could want!
The GM is supper nice and the store was clean. The food was delicious and there wasn’t that long of a wait.
Came here for the Popeyes chicken sandwich. The wait was long but the workers were amazing. They are very nice even when there’s a line around the building. Probably best if you don’t come on your lunch break because it will take too long and you’ll lose your patience. The food is of course fresh and delicious. The restaurant is also kept clean. Remember to be nice to the workers. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Good food! No chitchat or lazy staff; just people doing their jobs. With no one in front of us, we had to wait more than 5 minutes to place our order....I guess because of the really busy drive through. Clean bathroom.

I love the service, all the employees are great especially the managers. I always feel welcomed, definitely would come back. They are always on point with service and the employees are very helpful and nice.The cook is fantastic and friendly as well, made sure all my food was fresh. I would definitely come back to this store and only this one. This is my go to Popeyes, they are always ready and prepared.
Nikki, Mike,Thomas,and Nicholas killed it tonight. I had to wait for my food but everything was fresh. Everything was in the bag and everything was on point. They’re doing a great job over there.
Uber eats messed up my order but they went above and beyond to make it right for me when it wasn’t even their fault! Thank you Aiden and the sweet lady at the front for helping me. 10/10 service and awesome chicken:)

I usually come to this Popeye's because it's close to where I live. I went today between 2 and 3 o'clock. I ordered in the drive-thru an 8 piece family meal. It was either a wait for breast and wings or take all dark.. I gladly accepted the all dark as legs & thighs is what I actually prefer. For some reason, the chicken was absolutely delicious today. It tasted very flavorful and was so crispy and juicy. The fries were also extraordinarily very good today too.. This has been my best experience at this store yet. The girl at the window was also very cheerful and welcoming. You all get a 10/10 from me today.👍👍👍
Several people were getting upset because it was taking some time to get their food. The team had a lot of orders and was working as fast and as hard as they could. The gentleman up front Junior was on top of everything, making a great effort to please everyone. The food was great and I would come back again.
This is my favorite fried chicken place so far. Its the best bang for your buck, and if you go before 6-7, the chicken is the juiciest chicken you have ever had.
They are always short staffed. The kitchen is always dirty with food on the floor. Looks like no management or delegation is happening. Employees are always on there phone. Qnd the last three times iv gone they missed part of my order and I couldnt get ahold of anyone on the phone for my complaints or to fix my order. So iv paid for food I havnt gotten Several times.
Ordered 3 piece white spicy and got 3 piece dark spicy. I would recommend always checking your order here before leaving. I didn’t but I like dark meat too but was just in the mood for white meat.
Staff was bickering. They charged me for bacon and cheese. Only gave me cheese. Said they were out of blackened after charging me for it. I insisted blackened was more expensive then classic. Lady said "no it's not." No bueno. I love this place, just not the service today.
Food was greasy and selection at 8 pm was limited. Fountains machine was down. Food was cool. We request a certain mix of meat they didn't have we said no big deal just give us whatever you got.
Food was fresh and tasted good. Employees didn't seem to happy to be working. Employee forgot to give me cup after I just ordered my combo meal. Popeye employees need to work on their people skills.
This place needs some help, in a big way. The service is slow, but it seems like it's because they're understaffed and the workers appear visibly stressed because of it. There was a mix-up on my order because while I was ordering, the guy taking my order started talking to one of the other workers. When I questioned the total he told me, he gave me attitude and stated that I ordered something that I didn't. I feel for them. Being overworked and underpaid will pressure anyone into lashing out in frustration.
This place was sad. It had me thinking on how far I'd have to drive just to another Popeyes to get service in a timely manner. I saw cars leave the drive through line from just waiting. Even myself got out to see what going on inside. The place was dirty with crumbs on the table. They gave me the wrong drink as well. Like how do u mix up and Arnold Palmer with a Dr pepper. Also pop eyes itself is bs when they charge just for the gravy. If the food wasn't so good I'd start going to churches.
I went through the drive thru, ordered and not until I was at the window did they tell me that the car in front of me took all the spicy chicken and it would be 15 minutes longer. Could the kitchen staff not see they were running out and start a new batch. Quite disappointed.
Great as far as the tenders that is 99% of why we come a bit of a lil distance for but today they’re “completely out of tenders”!?!? Cmon it’s a peak time for them and everyone I’m sure is probably gonna want some of their yummy tenders!! Being such an extremely busy location, they should already know to have more than enough on hand for dedicated Popeyes chicken tender lovers such as my family (& def more I’m sure). Now we had to spend twice as much to get the regular chicken; tho I suppose we’ll live! 😉 Hopefully this review will help mgmt in keeping stocked up on such a favorite of quite a lot of its clientele!! 🙏🍗
I like Popeyes but they always make someistake when I'm getting takeout. The most common one is giving me the spicy version of whatever I get when I ask for the classic one
I love Popeyes. The service is good, but this particular location always misses something in my order. I fail to realize until I get home, and they are always good about making it right, but that's after the fact. I just wish they would get my order right. Still love the place, just don't make me come back. For a miss.

This location is just down the street from my hm. Super convenient location is the only good thing i can say about this location. We ordered 3 combo chicken sandwiches & a kids meal. They said it wld take abt 10 mins. Tell me why it took over 45mins?!?!? & this is cause we mobile ordered. & sadly out kids meal, 1 tender was spicy!? Why did u do that to a toddler? They So need to find a better working crew. Cause these ppl Are Super Slow. Ugh no more Popeyes for us for a fat min. Ao disappointing
Disappointed by the service. Walked in to place an order, and as soon as I approached the counter, the cashier — who looked like a manager — watched me and said, "I'll be right with you." There were no other customers and no apparent reason for the delay. It felt like I was being stalled for no reason. Unprofessional and off-putting. I won’t be returning.
I ordered just a 3pc tender from the app. I was excited cause they gave me 2 mini extra pieces but, my excitement quickly turned sour once I realized my food was cold. I mean 1 piece of chicken was dry, overcooked and hard, the 2 others were cold so the ranch had to do the heavy lifting cause it was terrible. I understand that I spent only $1 cause of the offer deal but it was a really bad experience. Sad thing is they was busy but my food cold...how? I definitely came on time for my order so I'm wondering and pondering how?
Ordered online and waited 20 minutes... we pull up to the drive through to get it and they told us we have to cancel our order because their chicken is frozen. Now were wasting 30 minutes fighting to get a refund on the app.
My food had hair in it (long, black & raunchy) when I went through the drive-through. Absolutely disgusting. I almost puked right there and then. And then, when I proceeded to go through customer service at my local store, they did not answer the phone after 6x tries. That means that I spent about an hour of my time - waiting and attempting to help them remedy it easily - wasted trying to contact them to get my compensation. Not only that, but my chicken on the two piece was very minuscule, and looked like it was something meant for a baby to eat. I’m an average woman, 140 lbs, and I’m certain your typical Popeyes goer would have been dissatisfied. Mind you, I’ve never had this lame of an experience with their food.
Every time ive been here the wait is ridiculous. Dont order the tenders cuz those come with a mandatory 25 minute wait. Last time I was here there was 5 of us outside waiting for drive thru and 2 families inside waiting, nobody had their food. Makes you wonder what they do in there. Cook chicken and have it ready? Obliviously not. Then when I expressed my disappointment to the manager he told me "dont come back then". Wow!
We ordered & paid (drive-thru) at 2:27 p.m. but I had to go inside to get my food at 2:42 p.m. it was sitting on the counter while someone was getting tartar sauce. I only ordered 1 meal. People that ordered after me did not have to park & wait almost twenty min.
This popeye location is worst then the ones in Louisiana! As we walked in we were NOT greeted. However there were a group of 6 employeethat looked high and talking and eye balling my family including myself. As we ordered as usual, we had to wait for spicy chicken, i decided to skip on that. I step in the restroom and was very disappointed in it's condition. It looked like it has NOT BEEN CLEAN IN DAYS! GROSS! I'll let you fill in the blanks as to what I saw. Next was the kitchen area and order counter. I saw trash, flour, food, on the floor. Trash can over flowing. Rubber gloves falling out of a box that is located on the wall. As I waited for my food an employee walk over and thew his head up the sigh for " what up". He looked high and had this i don't care face. With tattoos coving his face and arms. I shouldn't judge a book by it cover but it's hard not to because, they ALL look like they are from the hood. This location is in the " better part of town". The dinning area was equally as dirty. All the tables and floors had crumbs, paper, sticky with who know what. As we cleaned out one table to eat half way in the meal we found it was not cooked all THE WAY. That ruined the meal even farther. Last the front door did not close all the way. The flys that came in was very big and heat comeing from the outside was unbearable. I will not eat there or at any other popeye ever again.
Horrible customer service, always closes before its scheduled to close according to Google and their own hours of operation sign on the door. If you ARE by chance able to catch them open 30 minutes or more to close, they're magically out of everything you are trying to order. I.E., Strips, Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Sweet Tea... The restaurant is always dirty when we dine in that we stopped going inside. The employees seem like NONE of them want to be there. Completely rude for no reason. Take your business elsewhere.

I just drove all the way from port a. I ordered a sandwich meal and a chicken strip meal. I drive all the way back home to find they have me someone else’s order. I paid $23 just to get someone else’s food.
Terrible service. The employees there look like they don't care. The wait times are unbelievable. Never had to wait so long for an order. Customers were coming back in saying they had the wrong food, the order was messed up, Etc. It's not necessarily the employees fault it is a reflection upon higher management. Do something, increase your employee morale. There is obviously a problem in the system there. Would not recommend unless going at off hours not during dinner time hours rush hours July 15th nothing has changed even worse than before. Was there to pick up an order. Identified who it was for, waited quite a while ask them about my order again this time it was a different female that helped me the order have been sitting there when I asked the second time. The female replied I didn't take your order. On the way out the door a male who was on break said to me, it gets busy in here bro. LOL this is shameful and their customer service whoever's in charge of the store area manager or whoever is overall in charge of this location should be ashamed of themselves. They're getting paid to do a job. If they don't like it then they need to clock out and not come back that is truly a display of terrible customer service and employees who shouldn't even be working there much less anywhere else. One other note, it looked like they were understaffed and probably so . There were only two customers that included myself in the store in the store the push to get the drive-thru customers I can understand but still that is no excuse. If a store is understand then whoever is in charge of that store, area-wise they need to do something about it cuz it's not necessarily all the employees fault. It's the recruiting process and you're going to push employees out very fast or they're going to have terrible attitudes and take it out on their customers. This has occurred at several of the Popeyes locations in the Corpus Aransas Portland area someone take care of this geez
I never leave reviews. Especially for fast food but this has to be by far the WORST experience I’ve had. I just got out of work have 3 kids in the vehicle and decided to place a mobile order for convenience and pull up to the drive thru and then am told to pull forward . Understandable. I placed a family meal. Anyways after 30 minutes I’m handed my order. Missing all the sides and order of strawberry biscuits. I go back around to the drive thru to avoid getting out due to having children in the vehicle. The woman at the speaker said she didn’t forget anything and it should all be there. I told her it wasn’t. And to please take the bag and double check and she told me to pull forward again. At this point I’ve been here a total of 40-45 minutes. And I wait. 10 minutes pass. My kids are screaming in the back seat . I decide to go inside after a while and she told me “1 large fry right?” I said “no it was 3.” And she packaged it and THREW it at me. And didn’t say a word. At this point I was just fed up. I didn’t even care that I was missing a side of strawberry biscuits. I had cold food and hungry kids. NEVER coming here again. And that woman should be fired. I have worked in fast food and understand the frustration but I was not at all rude to this woman. Personal problems should be left at home or find another job!
Placed a mobile order and when I went to pick it up I was informed that they didn't have any Mac and cheese. When my order was brought out it was missing the fries and the 5 ghost pepper wings. Lady working said they could give me the fries but they were out of the wings too. I informed her that I paid extra for the Mac that I didn't get and I already paid for the wings. She said she could probably give me 3 more tenders. Really?? So what I ended up with was a tenders box. Filed a complaint on the app and they gave me a $2 credit. The wings are $5 and the Mac .50 extra and that's the best you can do? No worries. Church's is right up the street.
My recent visit to this Popeyes Chicken was beyond disappointing. The service was excruciatingly slow, and to make matters worse, they constantly got orders wrong. The staff appeared disinterested in the condition of the restaurant. One star is generous for this experience.
No matter how early you put in an order online they will not have it ready 😒 literally put in a order while leaving Portland in hopes it would be ready by the time I got to this side of town. Wishful thinking 25 minutes after I put the order in and it still wasn’t ready. No it was not busy either this location just sucks will not be going there again
I've visited this location multiple time ever since it's opened. If I had to guess I'd say at least about 20. After today this is the last time I visit this one. I love Popeyes, however like all other fast food restaurants the location you visit will determine service and food quality, and let me tell you, DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! I don't even know where to start with this, management is absolutely terrible and just don't give a damn, food quality even worst, dry, old chicken and biscuits. The employees don't greet you, not that I wanted to be greeted but if I'm gonna stand in front of a counter for 5 minuets waiting I would expect a "We'll be right with you." The manager literally looked me in the eye and didn't say anything. The service is also very slow. Took 20 mins on one meal by itself. They aren't apologetic or care about the customers. Would give zero stars if I could.
Waited 36 minutes in the drive thru to NEVER get my order taken. I get it your short staffed (young man said there was only 2 people working) but come on. A manager pulls up in a GMC goes in grabs lids and rolls out doesn't help what kind of management is that? Ive worked management in various restaurants and own my own food businesses and this is NOT what you do when you see a business "in the weeds". There were 8 patrons that left your business during the time your employees decided ignore everyone outside and not conduct business anymore. Sure hope you all figure it out.
Waited 10min for service in lobby, saw the whole mess they were having with they're current orders and getting them wrong. There was only like 3 people and like 1 or 2 in drive thru so not too busy in my opinion. I decided to leave to another Popeyes 6min away. Got my food in about 3min at 2nd location. This place never acknowledge my presence at least saying; "we're backed up at the moment, give us a sec and we'll get to you" anything would have worked for some kind of customer service.
Horrible service! The food was great, but the drinks were wrong and they didn't include napkins, spoons for the sides, the sauce requested, or any jelly or honey for the biscuits. When my husband called, the manager was rude and even hung up on my husband! My husband was very nice and we were just letting them know basically to pay more attention when giving out orders. The managers excuse was that they were busy. Ummmm no they weren't that busy. There was only 1 person behind us and 1 in front of us. If they consider that busy, then they are in the wrong business!
Terrible, do not come here! We were the only ones in the dine when we ordered and waited 45+ minutes, people come in and out the whole time while we were just there waiting, all the employees starting at us won’t even ask what we were waiting for. We were trying to be patient and not rude, we then ask what’s going on turns out the whole time our food had been ready for 35+ minutes just sitting there and he ignored us and acted like we weren’t there. They didn’t want to remake our food it was all cold and soggy, no sauce and nobody cared, didn’t even get an apology. Worst experience I’ve ever had at ANY fast food restaurant! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The location on 6829 S. Padre, here in Corpus Christi, TX, had the drive-thru speaker down on Friday, Sept. 15th. It was a long wait to get to the drive-thru window and order. The manager working the drive-thru was rude. He complained how customers were "idiots" for complaining about the wait. I felt terrible for the employees working so hard in the back. After all the unnecessary drama, they forgot my mashed potatoes with the extra gravy I was charged extra for.
By far the Worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to. Was told at the drive through that there will be. 15 minute wait for chicken. This is a CHICKEN place! They didn’t have any original strips. Ordered ghost pepper sandwich. Was told they were out of sauce then they corrected themselves and said they had it. Got home and all 3 meals were wrong. I guess they didn’t have ghost pepper sauce after all. Kid walking food to vehicles was rude and cussed a lady for trying to get his attention.
Poor service, had to order 3 times. They acted as if they had no idea what a big box combo was. Order 2 big box meals only got 1 box so I basically paid 13 dollars for 2 pieces of chicken. They will not answer the phone.
This Popeyes never has enough chicken. We always have to wait. I was told there would be a 7 minute wait for a 12 piece. We waited 10, walked in from drive thru and they started making our order. We paid for a 12 piece mixed and received 7 thighs , 2 legs, 1 wing and 2 breasts. It’s disappointing to wait so long and not get what you ordered or paid for. Of course no one answers the phone.
I cannot believe the size of this chicken a toddler would stay hungry and horrible service
They are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! You can go and have an online order and they won’t start it until you “say your name”. Then they take over 30 minutes to get your food out while other cars are pulling up and leaving within minutes. They only sell chicken yet they NEVER have any ready. They are always holding on something and they will tell you it’s a 12 minute wait and that’s a lie because it’s always around 17-25 minutes. When I go out to eat and spend my hard earned money I would like to at least get what I paid for and not have to wait almost an hour for it!
First and last time here, and probably at all Popeyes . The macaroni was dry and had crusty chunks of who knows what. The chicken was dry and small pieces, unlike Churches Chicken. The best chicken ever......
This place really needs some leadership. They overcharge you for drinks (same drink different price on same bill), they had no condiments (no hot sauce and no honey), the bathroom is completely nasty, the personnel was pleasant except the manager (filling in because the oficial manager was on vacation apparently). The Popeyes franchise is taking a black eye with this location. I am sure if somebody looks into their pricing scheme, a lot of people will be interested.
Food was cold. It had an odd taste to it. Person taking order was respectful. The person at the window, Sucked. She seemed to hate her position. I would definitely AVOID this place. Not exaggerating the FOOD was NOT good.
Originally missed my kids tenders, whatever went back in they gave it to me “no problem” just commented on how big my order was (Like I didn’t spend $70 something on halls food) he apologized they missed it then almost didn’t give me what I just asked for 2 orders of 3 pcs tenders got them went home and the HUGE problem is that the Mac and cheese it taste like sanitation or soap of some sort chemical. I can’t help to think there’s was cross contamination, I’m expecting and was just craving y’all Mac BUT ’m not taking any chances eating it.. Called to let y’all know maybe to pull the Mac or taste it y’all self to maybe make new batch or something but ofc no answer to my 3 calls, maybe they were busy..trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 mins to call the 3rd time NO ANSWER, Management is not available and this to me a serious complaint about food safety hope nobody get sick … I don’t even care about replacement or refund but the fact the food taste like soap/chemicals… so sad!
3rd time this month I pulled up at the drive thru and waited 15 mins with no response at all. I the past when I order food it's usually a 45 mins wait. Worst service I have ever had. It seems impossible to get an order in. Not sure why.
I just had chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy delivered. It cost 30$ and was the worst thing I've ever had from Popeyes, it was rotten! I'll think next time before I consider them for dinner!

This place is horrible! Takes forever and the cooks are dirty. The girl employee was grabbing apple pies with her hands. I waited forever just for a 3 piece chicken. Popeyes is good but this location is just gross
We went into Popeyes earlier tonight. We had never tried this location. Upon entering we heard a girl yelling. As we rounded the corner, we could see it was an employee standing outside the bathroom door angrily telling the person in there that ‘he wasn’t her boss.’ It only took seconds to see that there was mayhem behind the counter. We stayed 10 or 15 minutes before we left. In that time, two people in the drive through came in with messed up orders. The guy waiting off to the side said he had been waiting for awhile and witnessed much of the argument between the 2 employees. The employee that had apparently upset the girl was throwing things around and speaking to the other employees harshly. He told one person in the drive through line that he was having a problem with his staff. He was very impatient with another person working the window and by his tone and his curt response to her thinking the register was not working right that she was dumb for not understanding. All the while, there was an older gentleman cooking chicken in the back - minding his own business. The food line was a mess. We finally left without ordering and went to another chicken location down the street. I called a number that was on the counter. Apparently she was the regional and was going to call the GM. It was entertaining but totally inappropriate for a workplace.
Food is great as usual but service was terrible. Ordered an 8 piece family meal and got 7 tiny pieces and 3 biscuits plus no napkins or utensils for $30!!! I turned around and went back to get the rest of my order and she took the bag from me without a word, rifled through it twice just to make sure I wasn't hiding a piece then handed me my bag with the correct amount of food. No apology no smile nothing. I still only managed to get 2 forks for my family of 4, but at that point I was done asking. Lord knows it's expensive but if they short everyone just one piece and a biscuits think how much money that could the customer!!!

This is the third time Iv been to this Popeyes hoping it will be better but I don’t think I’ll be returning. Everytime I have gone the service is super slow just to even place an order, and the employees are rude and don’t acknowledge you are standing in front of them. Everyone in the restaurant was compiling about the service taking long or their food was cold.
If I could give this store zero stars I definitely would, I love Popeyes and it’s the closest to my house, but this Popeyes is just absolutely atrocious. The service is beyond slow, and it seems like the employees all have attitudes like they don’t wanna be there. I understand it’s fast food, but sorry I didn’t make you accept the job, o ordered the ghost pepper chicken sandwich comboand 6 boneless nuggets combo with fries for my little one. It takes over 10 minutes in drive thru, and when I get my food I pull off and ch close it. I have no fries, and a family size mash potatoes as my only side, not to mention the boneless wings had absolutely no BBQ sauce on them, so I go inside for them to get my order correct and I hear the guy in the front give a big sigh, like he’s mad. Sorry I didn't mess up my own order, and after working a 12 hour shift all I wanna do is go home and eat dinner with my child. Long story short every time I go to this particular Popeyes it’s always an issue and the owner needs to get on top of it because after reading all these reviews it seems like he doesn’t really care himself otherwise their would’ve been changes already
The reason I'm reviewing this Popeyes again is because me and my wife went back they took forever to take her order we waited for about 40 minutes. There was a worker there it was a lady who had her three kids waiting in the lobby the little boy kept on jumping on the counter actually laying on the counter. Now get this like I said we were waiting for about 40 minutes for our order so are people when the chicken was cooked and was ready to serve that lady served her kids first without pain cuz she was on the clock working instead of serving it to the customers who get paid and been waiting for 40 minutes for their older it really took me and my wife off I was going to call home office but I do sort of feel bad for that lady but I still find that wrong. The worst place ever. We are here visiting and always love eating Popeyes but this one is awful. I ordered 3 kids meal. There was not a menu outside so when the lady asked what drink and side I wanted I thought you could choose whatever side and drink you wanted. She never told me that it only came with applesauce and juice. They asked me to pull forward and wait for my order. While waiting I looked at my receipt and realized they upcharged me for getting a different side on each one of the kids meals. I waited over 10 mins for my food. Finally had to park and go inside and get my order and ask them about the up charge. The manager in charge did not understand what I was asking because she didn’t understand English so I had to ask my question on her translation app. She still didn't understand and had no resolve. So I said forget it and walked off. I also ordered 4 extra biscuits. Got to our hotel and they did not give us our biscuits, our food was not very hot, the sweet tea was so watered down you couldn’t drink it and the biscuits were not soft. Very disappointed in our visit. I will not be coming back. If you are going to hire a manager they need to understand and speak English. I shouldn’t have to use an app. I will also be reaching out to corporate since no one at the store wants to help. Sad that I wasted my time and $45.
Sold sides that were clearly under a heat lamp for way too long tasted sour Chicken tasted dry and like dirty oil.
I bought 8 piece family meal at 11:15 a.m. The chicken and biscuits were stale like leftover from yesterday. $35.00 for dried out leather. I tried calling to tell them and left me on hold (Ths Manager!) Never going back and I'll tell everyone not to go. You should be ashamed of yourself and I'm calling kitchen cops.
Waiting 40 minutes for tenders at 11am with no one there is wild. And the order was wrong
Bad service we have been waiting 30 minutes for a 10 piece calling corporate. Cars are passing with large orders.
The general manager ripped me off. When I went to pick up my online order, I asked the lady that was taking the orders through the drive thru if I could try a sample of the new pickle lemonade. She told me I can purchase a water cup for .50 and she will let me have it in that. I agreed that would be fair. When I got to the window, I handed her the money, and she handed me a sample cup, the one you would put Ketchup in. It barely had any liquid in it and had as much ice that it could fit. I told her you are charging me .50 for this. This is literally a sample cup what I was asking to get for free to see if I liked it so I could order it I did. She told me that the General manager was the one who told her to give the sample cup to me for .50. I did not ask for a water cup but for a small sample they told me they would give me a water cup for .50. I would not recommend going to this one. It also looked very dirty in the kitchen FYI.
$45 for breaded bread, little chicken, burnt biscuits and no sauce at all when I asked. Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for what…old biscuits and fried flour? I know for the workers, working on a holiday weekend sucks but so does spending your hard earned money on some food I could have paid $10 for out of my freezer. This place is trash. Y’all should be embarrassed by the repetitive repeat copied response on all reviews by the management of this place.
Asked for all spicy meals, none of them were spicy. Added red beans and rice at the window, price went up and I was charged for them, was missing when we received our meals, he said we didn't and wouldn't give me itemized receipt with price/totals. He told us the sandwich would take 15 minutes so we told him to change it to another strip meal instead, then he said it would be 5 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes and had to go in to get it and it STILL wasn't ready. He did it was bc of the sandwich. Smh. This place is TRASH
Ridiculous! Tonight’s manger made sure soon as we pulled up to the intercom to let us know that it will be a 20 to 30 minute wait on chicken and they close in an hour to be traveling here visiting that is absolutely unprofessional why is there no chicken yet no cars so it’s not even busy . Do not recommend night shift .
We went in to buy some chicken and chicken sandwiches,, the chicken was okay. The sandwiches were horrible, some random guy who drove the Uber, brought my food out. I called to let the manager know that my food was bad. And he hung up on me and blocked my number. Poor poor food and customer service. Really disappointed
i ordered the build your own bundle and not only was i missing my mac and cheese but they also did not include my sauce. i could have some sympathy, but there was not a single person in line.
The service at this location just keeps going downhill. The staff doesn't seem to care, and it shows. The last visit was the final straw. We placed our order in the drive-through, waited almost 20 minutes to get to the window, and when we finally got to the window, the staff had never entered our order. Then they had the audacity to say it would be 15-20 minutes more. Bear in mind, there were only about 3 or 4 cars and nobody inside. Ridiculous.
Fifteen-minute wait with an empty restaurant, and somehow the food was still stale. Ordered spicy tenders and got regular ones that tasted old and stale, a cold biscuit, and mac and cheese that was absolutely disgusting tasted like dirty sink water I gave it to my dog. Fries were fine, but that’s all that was decent. Ended up eating cereal at home instead. Save your money don’t go to this location.
On Christmas Eve my husband called to check hours they would be open. The person on the phone told him they closed at 8pm. We drove in from Houston to visit family and wanted to buy boxes to take with us to contribute to Christmas Eve dinner. We ordered our food on the app and would be ready at 7:15. When we drove up at 7:25 they told us they were closed due to it being Christmas Eve the hours were only till 7:30. We let the employee know we had called ahead of time to make sure we had time to order. The gentlemen also let us know for us to get our refund from the app.(No refund yet) We always use our app in Houston and never have had a problem with it. My family lives down the street from there and they said this location is notorious for having really bad service. I know its Christmas and I want them to also be with their families but lying about the time and then ruining ours is bull-crap!
They forgot all the sides somehow and when I drive back to pick them up I bite into the mac and cheese and the taste was so foul. Tasted like it was made with water heater sediment, the most chemically minerlic tasting food I've ever eaten. I immediately spat it out and took activated charcoal incase it was contaminated.
Refused to take our order in the drive thru, claimed to only be taking mobile orders due to "being the only one there" and they closed in an hour. I stated i was paying in cash and could not do a mobile order. This happened on Monday December 8th at 1120pm. I am very disappointed with this, after waiting in drive thru for a long time to be told I couldn't order a whole hour before closing is ridiculous. I will call up and speak to a manager. I hardly ever leave negative reviews, this was just ridiculous and she was rude about it.
Don't know why I keep coming to this location (probably its closest to me) super slow drive thru, I saw 4 other people pull off before I had to go back and remind them my order again. This happens almost everytime I come to this location. Kid with long hair, no hair net. No gloves. I see very similar reviews here. Just skip this location.
Absolute garbage. Worst customer service I’ve ever received. Don’t expect help from the manager Mrs. Yortiz either. Interacting with her is a total waste of time. I have never felt so badly with a restaurant experience than when I tried to get a situation fixed and was given the run around employee to employee until I finally got her to answer me a week later just to be told she won’t fix anything
Stay away. Worst Popeyes I’ve ever experienced. Whole order was wrong. Refused to help or replace it. Takes over an hour to get food. Yortiz the manager is so rude and so short don’t bother asking her for help. I asked nicely and respectfully for corporates number and she wouldn’t even provide that. Go to another location if you have the chance. Trust
This place is horrible no matter if I’m working as a door dasher picking up orders or if I come as a customer. Go to another location. Ordered a 16 piece got a 12 piece when I got home. No dipping sauces. Wrong side. Called the manager and told them the day of and nobody got back with me for weeks. Then asking for a receipt, I send it. Ask for my bank records as if this is bank fraud? Can you not look up in your system and see my name, or go back in camera footage and see my family visiting trying to pickup a meal? The manager yortiz was so rude to me. She offered a smaller meal if I could provide all this information a month later and then tells me it’s not good enough and she will not be able to help me. Don’t go here if you want a good Popeyes experience. I know they have all gone downhill but steer clear of her and this location if possible
Found a piece of cardboard in my food! Went back and talked to the manager Aiden and he said he could only replace my meal and couldn’t refund me because his GM wasn’t here. How can you not refund me after I found CARDBOARD in my chicken? Poor management and managers should be able to provide refunds especially in situations like this. Will be reporting to the health department.
I ordered a 3 piece chicken and they messed up my order and were rude when I showed up wanting what I ordered. Made me wait over 20 minutes to make 3 piece spicy chicken. I approached the drive thru window and the manager said it's still a 6 minute wait. I reminded her I've been waiting for 20 minutes. So I never got my order corrected, and I took the original, wrong, order they gave me. During my 20 plus minute wait, 7 different orders came and went through the drive thru, while I waited. They messed up my order and didn't want to fix the issue. I already wrote a letter to the BBB.
