Customer service has been good everytime I go here, have never had a problem with bad service. The only problem I had, I've only experienced once and it was taking way too long to get my order, many came after me and got through before me, but regardless the service is great, beware though, the lines are always long so be prepared to wait.

Jamaica not only has the best tasting KFC in the world - Montego Bay's KFC has the best view hands down...

I can’t go to Jamaica without stopping at a KFC the best chicken!!!!!! Even though I went at lunch and waited 30 minutes inside the line up wasn’t that bad it moved fast and was still worth it. The drive thru can be very long up to 1 hour to an hour and a half at busy times during the day because the chicken is so worth it. One love!🇯🇲🇯🇲

1 hour minimum wait to order, so make plans to stay awhile and take your food with you as tables are few to sit and eat, especially when it rains.

We stopped at KFC on the way out of Jamaica to grab something quick. I was reluctant to try it, because why would I eat at a place that I can eat at in the states?? But I was convinced into giving it a try, and I am so happy that I did!! The chicken tasted nothing like it does at any of the US locations I have been to. It tasted so fresh and fabulous!!!! I was actually a bit upset I hadn't tried it sooner. LOL. I was not a fan of the french fries that came in the meal. They were cold and tasted like sand paper, but OMG the doggone chicken!!!!!!!!!!!! Try it if you are there!!

There is need for improvement in the time it takes for each customer to be served. Being there last afternoon, it didn't seems crowded. Within a few minutes I was able to cash but like others who were before me, I had to wait a while to be served. The drive through patrons were noted to being served at a faster rate.

Just know that if you visit here on any particular evening, Mondays to Thursdays then you're going to be in for a LONG WAIT, took me 1 hour to get through with two simple orders which when I checked was WRONG. Ensure that you have a lot of time before you visit.

Expect to wait close to an hour in the queue. Tasty food once received

The atmosphere is relatively comfortable. Because of the high traffic that this establishment faces on a daily basis, waiting to be served is definitely an area than should be looked into. On the plus side, the food is very good. Customer service is good, but I think it's because of the high traffic of customers. In all it was a fairly good experience.

Wow what an experience, waiting 2hours in line to get your food! This has to be one of the busiest KFCs I’ve ever seen in my life. Easily 100+ people waiting in line to order and more waiting to pick up food. Honestly the popcorn chicken and fries are better than KFC in Australia but I felt the chicken tasted the same.

Chicken was great and service was fast. Only lowering by a star because only one set of the soda dispensers were working.

The food is overall good. They have a well rounded menu of chicken and some sandwiches and salads. The BBQ chicken is the best compared to other kfc outside of jamaica. The wait time can be excessive especially on public holidays, if you don't mind waiting its worth the stop. The customer service is okay based on my experiences.

KFC Montego Bay is an experience. They boast their delicious local poultry And their own special recipe. Food was great. Incredibly long lines both inside and in the drive through. Worth the wait.

I only went because I read and was told by people who already went to Jamaica to try the KFC because it’s one of the best in the world which we went and for me since I am from the US I will just say it’s better chicken than the US. But the line, especially during lunchtime and dinner time was loooooooong. We actually went around 7 PM so it wasn’t that bad but we just had to wait for 30 minutes for order. They don’t have water so if you don’t drink juice or soda bring your own water. The place is really not something you would sit down and eat, especially in the inside because it’s a little empty like limited chairs.

Visiting Jamaica and heard that KFC hits different than those in the States. Food was great, especially the spicy version. Can I say CHAOTIC atmosphere, yes! It is good but I wouldn't make a special effort to go there the next time I visit Jamaica. Much better Jamaican food is available.

Awfully busy. We just came back but waited quite some time in order to get served and then be out of line. They were out of the food we wanted for our kids. No order option from online though they advertise this.

Personally this location could use a major refurbishing/renovations. The place looks run down. Not many seating available on the ground floor for dining but lots available upstairs. The bathroom is broken and messy as usual but not to blame the company at all, the people can do better. Overall the building was clean. It didn't take long to get my order, food was hot however we did not get any napkins and had to share the one that the fork came in...We only got 1 ketchup each and we bought 9 piece hot wings each. Servers should be more focused. I enjoyed the wings tho and the pepsi

Extremely overrated and overhyped. Took us 40 mins to lineup and pay, and a further 50 mins to get our order. They ran out of drinks too and seemed to be serving not in order. Only come here if you have no other plans for your day or evening. Not location specific but - everyone said Jamaican kfc is the best but honestly Australian kfc is better imo.

Drive thru was so slow I spent almost an hour in the line because the staff at the front is the staff that is also doing the inside the restaurant duties as well

It took 45 minutes to get the food. I've passed this location a few times and it's had the same level of business. While the food was fresh, hot, and delicious the wait is not for me.

My cashier was awesome but witnessed one of the servers being very unprofessional to another customer. Was very busy and more chaotic than it should be. The food delivery operation needs to be streamlined.

I visited Mobay KFC at Ironshore ( Whitter plaza/Mall to get some BBQ chicken for the wife. This her favorite kfc meal while in Jamaica. We had to wait for over 1.5 hrs ( oh there was no BBQ chickens. As I sit to wait for our meal and got up. I notice my shorts was sticky and red on the bottom leg area ( light colour jeans shorts) upon checking the seat , it felt sticky and gummy. I ask to speak with the manager and one of the cashier. Who told me " you need to look where you sitting and we nuh have nutting red in ya" . I was then offered a rag and soap to clean off my shorts. Fada gimmi strength with our countrymen.

I would die for hunger before I ever visit that KFC they have the worst customer service rude no name tag. Have the customers food sitting on the counter for at lease an hour. Customers that comes in way after us was help I can understand 1 customers but 4 or 5 is ridiculous.

Didn’t go inside took the drive through, headphone operator seem annoyed with everyone and gave attitude when taking order and had to change a few items. Contactless payment is harder to do at drive through so best to go inside unless you comfortable putting ur phone through the revolving window 🪟 for them to do it for you.

This is not the place to go when you’re hungry. The service was extremely slow . I generally spend at least 45 minutes in the drive through.

Well, well, well.... staff is unhappy and grumpy, and the food was mid. Imagine waiting over an hour in the drive-through and having them repeat your order, then still handing you off the wrong bag. Portmore's location out does this one by 10000000. BBQ chicken was weird, 1 piece was dry and sat too long, and the next was wet and soggy. Popcorn chicken made the kids sick, and they never asked what juice we wanted. they just handed us 4 cups. Jamaica is known for having the second beat KFC next to Trinidad and I would argue it's better, but not at this location.

First of living in Canada . Canadian KFC is garbage . If you ever visit Jamaica my Motherland. You will unfortunately have to sacrifice 1 hour of you time just to get the best KFC . Ladies there are good people . Most are just stressed sometimes cause they seriously need to be paid more to deal with the Amount of people that come through there in a Day . Just think a busy Tim Hortons in Canada times 10 ! Enjoy ! Food is worth the wait .

The chicken is delicious, but the service is not great. We ordered popcorn chicken, and three piece big deal. The big deal was soooo tasty, from the crunchyness to the seasoning. The ladies working there are probably very overwhelmed because there’s no structure. People cut in line, and people are constantly just waiting. You can do express. The “express” service cost a little extra by an external party. If you are hungry, I would recommend it.

Let's start with there customers service which is garbage, The other day I went there to order 3 pcs combo and a zinger box. At the time I was speaking to a female cashier, I was asking few questions about what comes with the other combos, the cashier literally showed me how irrated she's getting with the questions. I didn't say anything relating to her attitude, cause when it comes to food i don't want anyone to messed with my meal. After, I got my order, the chicken was a bit salty and zinger was really dry, but everything else was ok. However, before getting my meal or order, the staff is assisting there family or friends etc. Especially, when you order something very quick and simple . Which is very unfair, I understand your order is going to take a long time depending on what you order but my God. Yall need to fix that. Due to that experience at KFC I no longer buy from any other locations.

Went here because of the hype, everyone was boasting that KFC in Jamaica was so much better than anywhere. The food was okay, ordered spicy chicken and it was barely spicy and served almost room temperature. Fries were like any resort fries, kinda soggy and tasteless. Two kinds of pop (Pepsi or champagne kola) ordered the champagne also just mediocre. Ice would have been nice. Service suuuuuper slow, took over an hour from the line to food in hand.

Had to wait for 1 hour for my food. And by the time you'll get your food, it's not fresh anymore. I expected a little bit with the food but it's just mediocre. You have to be very patient when ordering in this branch OR come when it's not very busy.

Drive through is literally a disaster 😂 waited 2 hours to order and get my order. Almost ran out of gas⛽️. The food was terrible and they gave us the wrong drinks 🥤 won’t be back ever again.

Waited 2 hours to get to cashier then 1 hour for the food. Their drinks machine wasn't working so had to take drinks from drive through, they only had two flavours and the staff wasn't advising until you ready to get the meal, poor communication, not a location I'll be going bCk for KFC.

Dirty, packed, long line to cash. The area to collect the food was very disorganized. Also they should implement a way to notify customers of when their food is ready to be collected this would solve the issue of waiting by the counter to hear your order being called.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the wings were really good but from the time we went in to the time we left was over 2 hours and we only got our order then, after asking to cancel and get a refund. The place was crowded and very disorderly, horrible customer service and out right rudeness from the staff.

My 12piece chicken was short, after serving and noticing this. I went back for the 1 piece that was short, I had to put back all the chicken in the bucket I had already shared including the bone for them to count it again, to get my 1 piece chicken that was short. No apology but attitude instead even though i was respectful, the service was the worst of the worst! I had to start giving attitude and complain.

Trying to get a zinger for the longest time but either told they are out ( at like 6pm) or made already and I can't eat cheese so mine has to be made from scratch.

Worst experience while in Montego bay, would never return over an hour and a half waiting for my food and my order ended up getting lost in the endless orders. I was so confused on how this would be considered fast food. I would never do that again.

I’ve been coming to this location since I was a child. I live out of the country so I always try to stop by but within the last 10 or so years the service and wait time has gone down the drain. 1 person taking orders and 1 person packing them. I went this past weekend because I didn’t get any on my last trip because the line was long. This weekend I wait about 20 minutes to order and then an hour to even get my food. There’s no way the franchise owner cant set up a better system of things. I knew a few years back when they added the drive thru it would be the same thing too. Chicken was good though. I’ll keep going to Popeyes a few minutes away. Wait time there is long but not that bad.

More than half of the items on the menu we're available at all. Although the line was short, 5 cars ahead of me, it still took 50 minutes for me to get some food.

Because the service is SO SLOW, it creates a big impact on the hungry customers, causing them to become frustrated and anxious...causing the atmosphere to be quite uncomfortable at times....causing to cursing, jumping the line and just expressing bad behaviour. Come one KFC, you've got to do better than this!

No soap in bathroom, the dinning area is extremely unclean. Bathroom need to be cleaned. There were no available tables because they were all dirty. The food was great and the wait time 14 minutes.

Someone needs to retrain all the employees including the Managers. It’s no way people should be waiting for chicken for hours. Fast food should be fast service and why ring every one in the building and just line out food sitting there on the counter it’s just common sense and neither the customer or employee’s benefits from this service. Find a better way to have your customers in and out with fresh hot food

Food was great, however, one of the security guards there was very rude and threatened to throw my friends out because they were in their swim wear ( they were covered with a towel). We were not aware of the dress code and since we just came from the beach which was close to the restaurant. I am not against the rules but i think the situation could have been handled differently. We left after things started to get out of hand, and i have been told that this is not her first time behaving in that manner.

The place is completely overcrowded. More orders are taken than can be processed. The food counter is totally overwhelmed and can't keep up. Prepacked fries spent around 15 minutes under the heat lamp and the burgers were for a while in a warming drawer. I had to wait 40 minutes at the pick-up point to get my menu. It's unbelievable that so many people go to this place.

Freezing cold, chicken what was available (most things were not available) and when I got my meal the chicken was pink and inedible.

It will take them more than an hour to get you served and while you wait you will be surrounded by angry customers tired of waiting and ready to fight. Avoid this place specially if you are with kids. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, even by the beach across the street you will have a better experience and you will be supporting local businesses also.

I feel I was Treated poorly as a tourist. It took My family an hour to get our food. My family only spoke Spanish and I caught The staff making fun of us and they kept calling us mexican despite us saying we are not from there. When we kept asking how much longer it will Take they would ignore us. Truly a bad experience and I’m a big KFC lover, every country I visit I also Visit their KFC and I never Experienced something like this.

Not worth it. You will wait up to an hour to get anything. 45mins if lucky. Seems like people in Mo Bay don't work or have nothing else better to do than to just stand in a long queue. The most crazy thing is there is only 1 person taking orders when there are about 10 others around. If they had 3 or 4 then more orders go on and the owner of the franchise gets more in the till which makes to place tick. Scandalous what's going on

I've being to this location on several occasions and the same experience, this big guy would collect cash on the outside come in by pass every one in line go Straight to the cashier, she would cash him with no apology and the line would stand still for hours , as this guy move then the security, then another smalie guy and thats just how it is for the whole day. I was their for hours before I get frustrated 😠 and leave.....management please look into this situation

They said open at 10am and now it’s 10:20am and still not open and I have to go to the airport at 11am the need to be on time because if I’d known that they wouldn’t be ready by then I would have gone to the airport instead

Horrible. We waited in line 30 minutes despite only maybe 10 people in front of us when we arrived. Absolute chaos with the other customers insisting on crowding the pickup area for no reason right after ordering, requiring you to push through 7 layers of people when they called your order. I felt like I was at a concert with everyone vying for a front row view. The soda machines were broken and they were only serving local "punch", which they didn't tell me until they called my number and it was too late. There were somehow no napkins in the whole store. Have you tried eating fried chicken with no napkins? The fries were cold and unsalted, having sat there the entirety of my 30 minute wait after ordering while the chicken was made. I understand it's fast food, and expectations shouldn't be too high, but this was on a whole other level. We hadn't eaten kfc for years, but were told jamaica kfc was better than US by 3 separate locals, so had to try it for science. Was it better? Nominally, if my memory serves me correctly. But everything besides the chicken was an absolute dumpster fire. 0/10 would not recommend.

They have indoor and outdoor seating but don't let diners use them, they literally stopped me from eating inside and told me to eat outside on the step, in the blistering sun surrounded by chicken bones from all of the other customers told to eat in the gutter. This is despite them having empty seating (maybe they don't want to pay a cleaner?), it is disgusting though and the staff so rude. My friend who ordered 30 minutes ago is still waiting for his food. Avoid this place at all costs, I'm just amazed by their rudeness and crazy policy of making customers eat on the steps outside.

This is the worst KFC I have ever been, from the cashier to the manager they are the worst no customer service zero care for the people who they are servicing, the manager seen to know nothing about managing and dealing with people. The cashier even wanted to argue with the tour bus driver, we were at this restaurant in 2/12/24, the tour bus driver complained about them. They know nothing about service and that even made the food just disgusting. Anyone reading this review, AVOID KFC HOWARD COOKE BLVD MONTEGO BAY THEY ARE HORRIBLE. This is the WORST KFC ON THE ISLAND.

Nobody seems to care too much about the customers. The people that work here are slow and the toilets are something comparable to a festival porta-loo. They only had Pepsi and nothing else, not even water. Went on a Monday morning around 10.30 and the lines were already starting to form. Poor.

The food is okay. I’ve had better KFC in n other countries. Now the wait is ridiculous. Why do I have to wait an HOUR for some KFC. An HOUR is ridiculous. They could have kept their food for all of that. People were in there hungry and waiting and they were taking so long, I do not recommend.

It states on the website that it is iown 10:00 am but at 10: 20 there is staff meeting taking place. All doors are closed, drivers and customers showing up and turning away. Where is the respect for people time?

Terrible experience. Delivery drivers get priority, so going out of your way to come to the business means you'll get the middle finger and the back seat. Waited seventy minutes in line to place an order, they were out of everything we asked for (we had to change the order THREE whole times) and another thirty to get the food. The chicken is ok at best. Worth a 15 minute wait, maybe 20, definitely not 100. The burger had very little taste, the fries none whatsoever (they don't even have salt), the drumsticks aren't even crispy and are once again tasteless, and even the free coleslaw included in my box meal was another level of horrible. But the drinks must be good, right? It's pepsi! Pepsi! Pepsi's always good! It is, yes, dear reader, at any establishment where they don't pour drinks hours in advance so you receive it flat and room temperature. If KFC is literally the only option for your food, order delivery. You might get SOMEWHAT ok food (and the drinks won't be flat as they send you bottles). With any kind of option, though, just don't touch this restaurant. There's pizza hut next door, PLEASE eat there instead.

I have witnessed on four occasions customers returning orders because they were not prepared properly, or because they specifically requested a certain part of the chicken but were given something different. The major concern is that the customer touched the chicken with their bare hands, the staff member handling the issue simply removed the chicken and placed it back with the others. This is unacceptable and poses a serious health risk, as it is one of the ways bacterial infections spread. Whenever a customer returns an order, it should be discarded—not mixed back with other food and served to other customers. This practice is a clear health violation, and I strongly urge you to put an immediate stop to these dangerous and unhygienic actions. Additionally, I have observed excessively long wait times. To make matters worse, the cashier often serves people who are not in the waiting line. I have personally witnessed this on several occasions and even spoken to them about it, yet the behavior continues. Individuals walk straight up to the counter and place their orders while others remain in line for several minutes waiting to be served. This is unfair and reflects poorly on customer service. Overall, the customer service is often below average. The food itself was good, except for unhygienic practices that could leads to food poisoning and bacterial infections. A customer touched the chicken that was served to her with her unwashed hands, the female servers removed the chicken and placed it back with the others then gave the customer the part of the chicken they ordered. In the same sense, customer leaves KFC with the wrong order that doesn't have the parts of the chicken they requested, They later returned and again the servers removed the chicken and placed it with the other chicken to served to unsuspecting customers.

Pure nonsense, a large line up of food, the waitress left her position. The manager stood around staring at the customers rather than helping to give out the food. When asked what the wait up was the manager stated the waitress went to get the drinks, 'if you want yiur drink, you a haf to wait' for the orders that were outstanding. Happily stating that customers have waited 3hrs and the proceeded to laugh!The resturant self service drink machines was out of order! Currently waiting over 1hr 30mins for hot wings big box! The service is ridiculous, the waitresses are rude. The manager enjoys being authoritative and unhelpful. I get Jamaica has a slow pace but seriously for a KFC franchise! Its so poor.

This was the far worse experience I have when it comes to custom service, presentation and also I really don't think I should wait 2 hours after cashing my meal to receive it. ..... I don't think KFC is up to standard, need more work and as a person who travels the world this is my far worse experience....... Sorry but I will never return or recommend this entity to anyone. They are also doing special orders for ppl who are working outside of the establishment........ I'm not sure if works are being paid for such action, but it's below renowned brand standards.

DO NOT GO TOURIST We visited the KFC near the airport and had an extremely frustrating experience. The staff member, Keitha M., overcharged us for extra sides we didn’t order and gave us the wrong drinks. We asked for 2 bottles water and 3 cokes but received 4 orange vanilla sodas and 2 fruit punches instead. When we alerted her she said we'd have to pay extra. The drinks were pre-made and watery, which made things worse. The food was cold and we.wait 45 minutes in line. There were aggressive panhandlers in the line up to the kiosk. Overall, the service was unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here if you’re expecting accurate service and professionalism.
