Love this place. Staff is always nice even though they’re usually very busy. It’s always clean, too. I come here once a week and have never had an issue with the cleanliness.
Food is delicious, employees are sweet and very communicative. But homeless ppl sleeping near with the door to the restaurant are not cool. Use water against them lol.
"Let me just start by saying, the KFC on N Western Ave, that giant, space-aged bucket of chicken—it’s brilliant! You walk in, and it’s clean, organized, and doesn’t look like the usual fast-food chaos. I ordered the four-piece original to-go, and let me tell you, it was absolutely scrumptious. The chicken was juicy, the skin perfectly crisped—just how it should be. Came with the classic mashed potatoes and gravy, and a fluffy biscuit, plus a Pepsi to wash it all down, all for just $18. Sure, I could make this at home cheaper, but I’m not home, am I? Now, let’s talk about speed. I know KFC cooks in advance, but I was in and out faster than I could say ‘finger-lickin’ good’. That’s rare in fast food, let’s be honest. Kudos to the staff—professional, efficient, and not a hint of slacking. They’ve got the system down. Overall, good job, everyone! Only one complaint: why is chicken getting so pricey? Whoever the next President is, fix the chicken prices! But that aside, this KFC delivered exactly what it should—damn good chicken. Five stars all the way.

The service here was not even close to the great people and service I always get at my favorite KFC at Florence and Ajax in Bell Gardens. This staff has a lot to improve on.
I am writing this review immediately following the worst fast-food experience I have ever had. First, the simple failure: our order was completely messed up. This level of simple incompetence is frustrating enough and reflects poor quality control, but it pales in comparison to the shocking health and safety issue we encountered. As we were waiting for the items to be corrected, we noticed a live cockroach crawling across the floor near the serving counter. This is not a minor issue; this is a severe violation of health code standards and frankly, it is repulsive. The presence of pests indicates a profound failure in cleanliness and sanitation protocols at this location. I cannot recommend this location to anyone.
Very weird experience! The prices in-store at this location are different from the prices online🙈🙊 I even confirmed by calling them! At the location in Pico Rivera, the prices online are the same as in-store. I have personally been in there and even called the manager to confirm from pico. So this East LA location is scamming people!! I thought prices will be the same from online but at this location definitely 💯NOT😒! Very expensive for the 2 pcs drums meal, no more $5 becus it’s 7 with taxes if u go in person and they charge u more so u end up having to pay for the family meal especially when they push it on you acting like you’re “saving” money. Also, the manager wasn’t there and supposedly “stepped out” when I called this location to ask why the prices are different online from in-store and I had to call 2-3x just to get answer when it was empty when we got there. They weren’t helpful at all compared to the location at pico. The manager at pico answered right away and was polite and didn’t even know what to say when I told her about our experience over here. And if you go to pico Rivera it’s the same price and they won’t charge u extra besides taxes of course. Definitely not coming here anymore😖
I am a regular delivery customer. I always order over $100 worth plus 20% tip. Just now I got an order and when I opened the bag it was a mess. One of the three large size gravy containers lid came off and all the gravy poured out. I checked other lids and the mashed potato lid was not on good. I tried calling KFC several times and nobody answered the phone. That’s not the way to run a business. Unless this is taken care of by KFC they will loose a valued customer.
Store employees should definitely be fired. Because they have a very cursed working order. They do not provide any service to customers and they act very relaxed. They hang around carelessly. People like this are disrupting the order of America.
Im not one to write reviews and I like to be fair so the first time I went and it was terrible service I let it slide and continued going. But, after 3 visits there I’m confident in my rating. If you go in person they will make you wait 20 minutes before even taking your order. Then they seem bothered that you ask for them to take your order or help you in any kind of way. I went to pick up my food from an online order and the lady was going to make me wait until I told her it’s just a pick up. Then she didn’t hand me my food or even place it down gently she threw it on the counter. Also the food quality is terrible. My sandwich looked nothing like the picture and I found possibly potato skin in my coleslaw?? Would not recommend especially because the food cost more than what it’s worth.
I placed my order for the crispy chicken. They said that all they had was 1/2 crispy the rest original. So in other words we will give you what we have not what you paid for. Their explanation on we only make a certain amount of chicken is not a good reason to give me their leftovers. Bad practices especially when they didn't even warn me of not having my complete order when I placed it. Compensation for my time is the only way to make things right. Not doing any business with this company again.
I came to KFC for my lunch break and dine in. There was just another person other than me and my coworkers. Service was ok but the food was bad my fries were stale and my tenders over cooked or old. Then I went for a refill cause they served me a cup full of ice and some soda they informed me that they only allow 1 free refill after that one I would have to pay. Don’t think the food and drink is worth the price. Quality was low highly unsatisfied
This past Friday 12/24/2021 I went to this store to pick up my order online. which I did not check what I bought relying on the quality of KFC but what was my surprise when I got home what a horror. Where was the quality of KFC. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT YOU COME TO SPEND TO THIS PLACE
Manager literally told me what do you want me to do about it when i explained to her that the chicken wasnt even cooked in the middle!!! I got a mouth full of doughy substance it was bad. She literally hung up on me she is the general manager i later found out.
KFV is an absolute scam. They took my money and never gave me my food, then lied to my bank saying I received it. When I asked them to check their cameras to prove what happened, they literally laughed at me instead of taking the situation seriously. It’s not even about the money it’s about the principle and how they treat customers. Their lack of honesty and accountability is unbelievable. I’ll never order from them again, and I highly recommend others avoid this place until they learn how to run a business with integrity. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at KFC was just awful. The customer service was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. The staff seemed uninterested, unorganized, and had zero sense of urgency. I was left waiting far too long without any explanation or apology, and when I finally did get assistance, the representative was rude and dismissive. When I asked to speak with a manager about an issue, the staff completely lied about who the manager was. Instead of being honest and helping resolve the problem, they passed me around and gave me misleading information. That’s unacceptable and shows a serious lack of integrity. It’s clear that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority here. I expected much better from a company like KFC, but I won’t be returning or recommending them to anyone until they learn how to treat customers with basic respect and courtesy.
I had a very disappointing experience here. I paid for my food, but the cashier told me my payment didn’t go through, even though it actually had. I politely asked the gentleman helping me to call a manager. A woman came over, but instead of resolving the issue, she called someone else on the phone. When I asked if she was the manager, she told me she wasn’t, just the supervisor. At that point, I was frustrated and asked for the food I had already paid for. She told me I would need to pay again and, if I got charged twice, I’d have to dispute it with my bank. That is completely unacceptable customer service. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me—it was only visible, tucked away on top of her hat her name was Jennifer. This whole experience left me upset and disappointed. No customer should have to argue for food they’ve already paid for.
I asked the cashier that do I need to complain to get serve . The cashier lady that wear glasses answers back to me . I'm the manager here and if you don't like it you may go . Also said I don't need your money and business . I think if you don't like your job you will never help customers properly. . I been a customer for years at this place at Whittier Blvd Commerce . This place sucks I paid 60 bucks for a lil bit of food and they only give you one side with your food straight rip off and the damn chicken ain't that good

The pot pie was too salty to enjoy and the chicken didn't taste fresh for the famous bowl.
I waited at the counter for at least 5 minutes just to be told they weren’t offering the 8 pc legs and thighs for $10, which they advertise. The young man said it would be $15.99. The dining room was full of people waiting for their orders and the line to order food was growing. The young man was working the drive thru and the counter by himself with zero help from the female employees there. Very poor service. I’m not criticizing the young man, he seemed to be the only one helping customers. They need to hire more people.
Poor customer service rude in the drive thru section, and when got home order had missing items. Place need to be shutdown or get new management.
Morning manager is lucky she has a job, I couldn’t believe she was a manager and the young little boy in drive through was useless. Who hired these people? I’m making sure this time I proceed with my complaint to corporate management. These employees have no business serving guest with the bad disposition they have.

The dining hall closes at 9 PM, but according to the schedule it should be open until 10 PM. The woman with the headscarf is really rude 🤢
If you order on the app, this location charges you 20% tax. The effective sales tax rate in this area is 9.750%. So, they're tacking on other fees and/or surcharges and passing it to you, the customer. Since it doesn't breakdown what these other fees are, I'm assuming convenience charges, bag charges, etc. Technically, this is legal but shady business practices. Shame on the owners! The other KFC location near VONS on Vermont doesn't do this. Also, think twice about ordering food from this location on UberEats, Postmates, etc, they jack up the prices like crazy.
Rude drive thru lady tonight. It was empty, made me wait for my food for nothing, then proceeds to give me the most cold and old chicken strips. I couldn't even eat them. Stay away from this place
Too salty, tastes like fried with cheap oil. Staff are very lazy and idling. I never felt that there’re kindness in floor. Never going back again
Waited to pick up my order on the drive thru for almost 20 minutes! Absurd! Food was no longer hot after I got home.
I had a attitude from start to finish i asked for a three piece combo meal all breast they neglected to give me any breast. When they asked what drinks they have, they responded pepsi products which i informed what does that consist of. They are remained quiet after i said it twice, until i asked if they had fruit punch they then answered yes. After grabbing the food to bring to my significant doing chemo at the hospital, she asked me you didnt get any breast which under the impression i thought i did. How wonder was it to not bring an accurate meal to someone enduring something as big a chemo. Do better!!
Atmosphere is dirty & the staff are rude non friendly seems like they are irritated with life or work. If you ask to repeat what they said they have an attitude about it. & the drive through is real narrow for big vehicles. Will never go back
Ordered food in 3 hrs advance in Uber eats than the time I should have gotten my food it says my food was canceled and it was a special buy one get one free meal. Tried to order again, and it doesn't appear in that location. Other kfc locations do appear, but not this one. I guess this kfc doesn't like this deal at all. Gold digger kfc
I wanted to share my recent experience with the food from this store. I ordered a 3-piece tender chicken combo with fries and drinks, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The chicken and fries appeared to have been cooked in oil that hadn't been changed in a while, resulting in a greasy and unappetizing look. The smell was quite off-putting as well. I hope the store can improve the quality of their food for a better customer experience in the future. I wish I could get my money back. Don't waste your money.
I went on my lunch break and waited for a while for an 8 piece thighs and drumsticks for $10, and I only received 8 drumsticks. My question is, where are the thighs?? I also ordered a sweet tea and received raspberry tea. I didn't have a chance to go back and have the order fixed because all my time was spent watching people that came after me get their food. This only cool thing about this place was its two stories.
