It’s beautiful to see in a city like Malaga that is being flooded with tourist traps and souvenir shops, that there is a community space where local artist and support groups can come together and create. la Casa Invisible poses as an important 3rd space that unfortunately a lot of places are losing in favor for unsustainable capitalistic visions. The people of La Invisible are kind and open and showed us around the beautiful building, that has so much valuable history in not only its architecture, but also its stories and current occupants and how it integrates into local communities. In the day and age of for-profit infrastructures La Invisible poses an invaluable asset to the cultural expression of Malaga as more than just a city by the sea, it shows the strength of human creativity and perseverance.

One of the most precious cultural and social houses in Malaga. It's a pity that it is always under treat to be closed by the town hall. I hope that one day they'll realize how much cultural and social value this building has. It's one of the very few more "alternative" spaces in Malaga and definitely adds to the city's attractiveness.

Unique cultural hub in Málaga. They hold many free events and promote local artists. A truly special institution which deserves to be preserved. Also one of the few places you can get a cheap beer and feel like you are sitting in a public square. Sadly, I hear there is pressure on them from the council to shut, which is very concerning as it is truly irreplaceable, once it is gone its gone :(

YAFEA ALYAFEI

A true hidden gem in the narrow streets of Malaga. It's located very centrally. A safe space for the local LGBT community. The bar prices are super cheap. Great vibes and nice artworks decorating the place. Never knew about this place at all until a friend took me there. You can meet and chat with other local young queer people there. Everyone is super friendly there. I highly recommend it.

La Casa invisible is the only place that is left in the centre of Málaga that is a meeting place for locals of all sorts. It's a social cultural centre automanaged by volunteers that offers many activities for very affordable prices, most of them by donation. I highly encourage you to take a look at their website and social networks to check all different activities that they organise. It is also the meeting point of many associations and different groups. Definitely worth a visit and asking them for their history and all the things they do.

lovely free place in the midst of a busy city. there was a group of fellow dutch tourists who were obnoxious and drunk, but that’s not on the amazing people that run this place. other than that: cool crowd, very nice ambience.

Absolutely glorious terrace in the center of Malaga that should continue to be protected. The art on display was gorgeous. We went during an artisan market and enjoyed the environment. In particular, we were big fan of the big cat that sat with us for almost an hour. Clearly a space full of creativity and love.
