I had a great experience at the Northridge Starbucks! The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and my drink was made perfectly. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area. Looking forward to my next visit!
Just went tonight and this place knows how to make a strawberry and creme frap. It's got a great out door seating area that's pretty. Staff was funny and fast. They and this great monitor telling you if your drink was being made and when it was finished.
This Starbucks has great parking. It does get busy as it is in a college town. I like that it caters to students as there are a lot of places to sit inside and good outdoor patio seating. Great for social gatherings or if you just want to study. Some of the seats have power sources to charge a laptop or cellphone.
Wow, completely remodeled with accessible door plates (handicap). There is no more indoor seating; all tables are al fresco. Cons: There are no more outlets or wall sockets. There are only a few umbrellas, which do not cover the entire patio. There are only 12 chairs and 6 tables under 3 umbrellas. The heat and the sun on the patio are unbearable if you are not under the umbrellas. The heat makes the two big trash cans smell more. If you are a student this is not a spot for you.
Like any other Starbucks for the most part, except the no outlets part. What initially brought me to this location was the closing time (12am.) I sometimes work late on various things and rather enjoy not always working at home. I dont live too far away and figured this would be a good spot considering it's by a university. Imagining I could go in like a student or anyone else and plug in my laptop and work away... Twas' not the case, since there is only one area in the seating area (center table in front of the register) where one can plug in. Though some may say I can still run on battery for a bit, my battery fails more often than not (unfortunately need the outlet)... From my experience, places like this that stay open late near universities, essentially cater a bit to the students in a way. Thus, outlets for studying/plugging in needs. As I type, I seem to be surrounded by students, but not too many electronics. Or this Starbucks could be trying to help students/people disconnect 🤔 In any case, if you're looking for a cafe type spot to get some work dont with your electronics... this is not the spot. Overall the store is relatively clean, except for the random puddles of water in the restroom. The service was nice, even the barista apologized about the outlets when I asked if there were any more.) Good amount of seating as well, but not the lounge kind of cafe set up (more like the share a table kind.)
Service was fantastic and my drink was superb! I ordered the mocha cookie crumble and I must recommend this drink. It is a heavenly treat which I don't get often. It was prepared excellently and fast! Update 10.08.2024: the store has been remodeled and I got to say: I'm not liking it. Before it had an ambience of community, where people could come and sit inside at a table and enjoy their coffee in the company of others. All of the tables and chairs inside are gone. The patio outside was enlarged but there's no way to plug in a laptop since there are no outlets. There's nobody even here but myself and a couple sitting on the otherside. It's rather cold and indifferent. What about when it rains in the rainy season? There's barely any coverage. And what about when the temp gets colder? Could this be a subtle message from Starbucks? They no longer want people around? Just get your coffee or whatever and go away! All we want is your money.
They couldn't even fill my drink all the way up. I got a Grande Mango Dragonfruit with no lemonade and I asked for no ice. When I got my drink, it wasn't even filled up all the way. The girl making my drink was new because the manager was guiding her on how to make the drink and they were following the exact measurements on their measure cup. If someone get a drink with no ice, just factor that in so they will get a fully filled cup. I didn't even want to argue with them about this so I just left with my 3/4 fill drink. But they lost a customer here cause I don't plan on coming back to this location. The other Starbucks location would fill it all the way like the ones in Target or Vons.
I usually rate Starbucks 5 stars cause they are good most of the time. But this location - right start from the beginning cashier was too intrusive with questions, then they forgot to give me my cake. Latte was a bit bitter. Music that plays inside is a little bit loud imho. On top of that they had toilet paper in their restroom!
I waited my mocha like a 20 minutes. Such a terrible service.
Ordered a flat white and got a cup half full of foam. Service was less than desirable and the barista seemed miserable.
Went in today, and asked for a venti matcha latte with 3 scoops of matcha and 3 pumps of classic syrup. I was told it already came with syrup, so there was no need to ask. I got the drink in a size grande and it had no syrup at all, it was just the earthy bitter matcha with no sweetness. I also ordered a ham and Swiss croissant and didn’t receive it. This all happened through the drive through.
I am stuck in drive-through and it’s been 10 minutes and two cars have moved. Clearly they’re not properly staffed!
I was hoping they would close this one vs the one down the street. They don't know how to make a decent cup of coffee. Smh
I recently left a positive review for the Starbucks at 9020 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324, but my latest experience was disappointing and aligned with many of the negative comments I’ve seen on Yelp and Google. During my visit, my friend and I were not greeted upon entering, despite the store not being busy. We waited for Michelle to take our order, and when I mentioned my previous positive experiences and ongoing loyalty, she did not acknowledge it or even offer a simple greeting. She also did not take my name for the order, which is unusual for Starbucks. When my friend asked if Michelle could dispose of a used gift card, she curtly responded that we could do it ourselves. This lack of courtesy and professionalism was surprising and made us feel unwelcome. Additionally, the quality of the drinks was disappointing. I ordered my usual Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha , but this time it was watery, not thick like it used to be, lacked the signature lavender cream topping, and tasted bland. When I inquired about it, the staff simply insisted the cream was included without offering to remake the drink or address my concerns. Overall, the service and product quality have declined significantly. Based on this experience, I do not plan on returning.
Horrible experiences here constantly, extremely rude staff. Matt, one of the baristas here completely burned my food then proceeded to yell the most disgusting things at me, simply for asking for a new breakfast wrap. Hopefully Matt is no longer here to create terrible experiences for customers. Seems like the rest of the staff just follow his lead. Just go to another location
ordered in the drive thru, got up to the checkout and was given something different than what was ordered. when the worker was told of this they said I was wrong and this was what i ordered and refused to make me the correct order. on top of this the drinks i received were not very well made and not very tasty. place was not busy inside or in drive thru so not much of an excuse, but regardless for the price of the drinks i shouldnt have to worry about quality, especially when i received a bare basic matcha latte i didnt even order in the first place.
On the app I ordered pick up and I got there a little late and asked about my order. It wasn’t ready for 15 after the predicted pick up time. I would understand if it was a rush but there wasn’t a line in the drive or on the counter. It was a simple order one drink and a breakfast sandwich. When I got the drink (paradise drink) it came out white???? And they didn’t have the sandwich in stock either which is fine but the thing is they only had one sandwich across the menu so I asked if they would just refund it but it’s a couple days later and nothing has happened and I don’t have the energy to call over a $5 sandwich. Overall just a miserable experience.:(
