We stopped in here on our way home to grab take-out and sat at the bar to wait for it. The server was very nice and helpful when ordering. The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. The ladies restroom was cute and cleanly. I have no complaints and I also love that they have house sauces!!

This is actually kind of interesting because I personally know the owner of this place, that means I have to give it a positive review. Even though I know him lets talk food. The food there is absolutely fabulous. Every time I go I get The Charger with cheese curds on the side. The Charger is a pretzel bun Burger that they have managed to perfect it to the point of greatness. The cheese curds are a perfect side. The chess inside of these curds of greatness is so delicious! Tasty sauces, cool owner, usually at least a couple cool beers on tap as far as IPAs go and walleye bites that melt in your mouth. The waitress put an orange in my overly bitter beer and I let her. Obviously it's all decked out in 80s and it's got a great vibe for family dinner time. Place could benefit from a monthly 80s dance off with a real DJ spinning old 80's records and ET and Alf doll giveaways.

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful people, and their burgers are wonderfully drippy messes of just the right kind of pub burger. Their fried food leaves a little to be desired, but it depends on who's running the fryer that day. Overall a pleasant place to spend lunch or dinner.

Food is good. Decor is fun and unique. Service is hit or miss. Good for big groups or if you have plenty of time. Not always great if hoping to stop in for a quick drink or bite to eat.

We enjoyed the Brotater chips, sandwiches and salad. Only 1 waitress and it got busy but she did well. There is a lot of memorabilia to enjoy.

The setting was 1980s theme with TVs n 1 big screen. It had about 20 tables for dining. Weekly drawing fun for locals. I just went out for a drive and discovered this place.

In Onion, Ill. on the 150 off I-74 and way better than the exit type restaurants and worth every mile to get there (not too many); very friendly and personable hostess/waitress, cook & diners; varied menu selections tastefully prepared and good portions; welcoming ambiance. Open fairly late so the break from interstate driving was validated. Support the small town business and you will be rewarded.

Stopped by after church Saturday night. They were super busy and looks like only one wait staff person. Husband ordered the charger classic cheeseburger and fries. Tasted great. I got my usual ribeye sandwich minus the bun and cottage Cheese. Steak cooked perfectly and tasted great. However server brought me cole slaw. I said I asked for cottage Cheese and she readily switched it out. I then asked for real sugar. She looks confused and brings me the blue packet sugar. I explain I can't have substitute sugar per allergic reaction. Next she brings the pink packet. Again I explain I need real sugar. She finally comes back with that. I ask for a spoon and more napkins. Some guy drops off the napkins but no spoon. Again I know they are super busy. So I go the pick up window and ask for a spoon after 5 minutes of my request. Once food was delivered server never stopped by to get on things. However she stopped several times to the high top next to us to see if they needed more beers. We placed my husband's empty tea glass on the edge and after another fve minutes and the server stopping by high top next to us I went to the bar and requested a refill. She brought me a to go box and the bill. She was very polite and like I said it is super busy tonight. But the service the high top who came in well after us got more service than we did. But that's what happens on a busy Saturday night and the local small town bar.

My burger was under cooked. They were busy so I didn't send it back but did tell the waitress. It looked like a nice place inside. I was hoping to go and eat there sometime not a good first-time experience.
