Opinions de Starbucks Palo Alto
The staff here are exceptionally friendly. Once, I ordered a hot latte instead of an iced one by mistake, and they quickly made the switch and even let me keep the hot latte. I was really grateful for their kindness. They are professional, and their coffee-making speed is impressive. I frequent this place often and always have a great experience.
Cool little place tucked on the side of a Hill. If you go behind Starbucks, it's an amazing view. you get all of the great drinks there. You can also bring your own cup The baristas are very good, and they look like they like their job. And they know what they're talking about. To me all around is the five star joint They make food drinks great atmosphere. And a whole lot of cute nurses
Nice store, not a lot of parking available, good service. Can get backed up a bit and need to wait for order.
Staff are nice. One of the seasonal beverages was a cherry chai latte, but the foam had dairy in it - the barista got creative and came up with this dairy-free alternative: Iced Grande Chai Latte - Soy - Cherry In Foam - Cherry Powder - Nondairy Vanilla Sc Cf In general their chai lattes are good (most things are a bit on the sweeter side). When I tried the matcha lattes I found that it had an odd slight bitterness to it (on two separate visits), which I haven't tasted at other (non-Starbucks) place, so maybe something to do with the matcha powder they use at Starbucks.
This is a very loud Starbucks to work in. The workers are all younger and sometimes it feels like they’re at happy hour and not at work. Feels like I am at the market or something - everyone is yelling, swearing. Sometimes I think this is the remedial Starbucks where they send all the people who are not professional enough for other locations. The music is turned up louder than at other Starbucks locations. These combined of course causes patrons to be louder as well. It’s a nice place to work if you have good headphones, and it is the latest-open place in the area. At least it has some outlets, unlike happy donuts across the street.
Waited quite some time before being acknowledged that I was standing at the counter to order. Once they noticed I was there they asked that I wait while they finished other orders, which was fine. Once I ordered my drink was completely quickly and accurately.
Ive been going to this location for a bit now and food and drink here are good most of the time. Sometimes theres a mix up/ watery drinks but thats fine. What I’m disappointed about though is a guy that took my order (drive through) rolled his eyes at me when I asked for a trenta cup of ice at the drive through window. I do not understand the attitude because a few people I know that work at starbucks says that there’s nothing wrong about asking for ice at the window. To add to that, I said thank you once after asking and another when he gave me the cup. He did not acknowledge it once which tells me he’s trying to subtly be rude.
Can I just ask why it is that people cant figure out what extra hot" means? Im tired of ordering extra hot and STILL getting like warm latte's. Its not that difficult, people. And then it you say anything you get the stink eye, like its too much trouble to fix their own error. Following the order instructions that they offer should not be hard and neither should calling out the correct names on a mobile order.
One of the most excruciatingly slow Starbucks experiences I have ever had. There just aren't enough people on the shift to make this place operate as smoothly and efficiently as it could. I'm standing at the register for at least 5 minutes before someone takes my order, all because the poor woman operating the register is also tasked with processing all of the food orders by herself. Meanwhile, some employee casually saunters out of the back room to make herself a drink, and doesn't even acknowledge the backed up line, and retreats back to the calm and quiet of the office. Additionally, this is another one of those locations where the barista doesn't know how to properly steam milk. Even with the extra cup around my cappucino, I can feel donut grease-level heat radiating through the paper into my hand, and my cappucino is basically a shot of espresso diluted in scalded milk. I can do that at home with a microwave or a pan on the stove; I don't expect to pay for some hot garbage that I can ehip up myself. I honestly do not understand how so many customers can just accept that their lattes and cappucinos are going to cook their lip when they take a sip. Properly steamed milk shouldn't contain the heat of 1,000 suns. To be fair, this is the only coffee shop in the immediate area that is open after 3pm, so you're kinda stuck with it if you absolutely must get a caffeine fix in the area in the late afternoon. The location would also benefit from a deep clean. There is a bit of grunge, and mounds of loose coffee beans piled up behind the hoppers. I do not anticipate giving this place a 2nd chance. Instead, I will scald my own milk at home and save $5.
My previous complaint was that this location wasn't shaking up my Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. I was provided a link to address my concern. I got in contact with a representative who can look at my transaction history. I was informed that when ever my drink isn't made right, I can ask them to remake it, store policy. Well, thankfully they corrected my first issue, but today when ordered through the drive-thru, my drink was shaken but NO BROWN SUGAR SYRUP was added which gives this drink it's identity! I drove back and asked for my drink to be REMADE and handed my drink back to discard it expecting a new REMADE drink. NOPE, the girl at the window came back with the same drink and said they added the sugar. I don't understand WHY this location isn't following policy? If you are being asked to remake a drink, why is it too difficult to comply, it wasn't even busy?! I USED to really like this location but as of lately something is really off.
If you've had a long day at work and want to treat yourself to a Starbucks on your way home, don't stop at this one. Apparently, if you order a venti without strawberries and without ice (because you have sensitive teeth), you pay for the strawberries and you get half a drink. According to the manager, that's Starbucks policy. Very disappointing.
Just did a drive thru run. Ordered a bacon Gouda, banana bread and drink. Drink was good. When I ordered the bread they didn’t tell me they didn’t have any more. When she (girl with tattoos in her neck behind her left ear area) handed me my order, I asked her where my bread was, oh we don’t have anymore but we didn’t charge you for it. Ok, fine. Bacon Gouda was dry with no Gouda and cold. She lacks customer service. I won’t return there.
This location is the worst. Their employees act like they've never heard of customer service before. They don't know what they're doing most of the time. As a regular, i've noticed the girls who make the drinks are rude and don't acknowledge the customers. There are a few guys who are nicer to everyone and actually smile and are helpful. I never order through the app anymore beforehand because they always misplace my drinks and food items and I'm left waiting for 15-20 min having to ask where it is, and they just can't figure it out... it's been put in the drive thru order area multiple times when i'm in the store. I usually walk to this location in the mornings and afternoons sometimes as I work nearby, the afternoon staff is much more pleasant. I've stopped coming to this location entirely since the employees are so rude, ignore customers lined up to order, and roll their eyes. Always acting like someone's inconveniencing them, which is sad and has ruined my day multiple times. I wish they'd take actions to improve the quality of service they give and get rid of some of the people on their team currently, it's just not convenient to deal with after multiple horrible experiences, and I work in customer service so its obvious they don't have that. 0/10
Worst experience- poorly run. Awful drinks- how can you mess a cold brew order? Never going back and stay away from this location
Go back to El Pollo if you don’t want to learn HOW to make the drinks by recipe!!!! You are ruining our neighborhood Starbucks!!! It’s pure laziness and the management is terrible!!! And they make drinks too hot that burn. I’m just going to scream at employees who mess up my basic drink order to shame them since the managers don’t care. Customers know consistency! Don’t ruin our Starbucks, find another job if you can’t measure simple ingredients! #angrycustomer
Is this really how Starbucks responds to a customer who got burned by a coffee your staff handed them? Saying ‘Well, you ordered a hot coffee. Of course it’s going to be hot when you squeeze the cup’ is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable
The staff at this Starbucks looked angry and miserable — I’ve seen free-range chickens with more joy. If you don’t want your day brought down, consider visiting a different location.
order a hot drink and the Staff didn't double cup it so when I squeeze the cup the steam from lid hotted my hand. I reported it to the Staff however the Staff was so rude and impolite and said"Well, you ordered a hot coffee. Of course it’s going to be hot when you squeeze the cup.”it's soo incompetent for a consumer service Staff had such a kind of attitude and respond to their customers
Very poor customer service, i ordered a grande Mango dragon fruit, I was charged twice $5.75, I call immediately. The girl answered the phone and to say the least. Basically I need suck it up. it's not the money a simple sorry. would have fixed the issue. Rude!!
I ordered multiple drinks using their drive thru and paid $40 using my app and gave them 20 cents to pay for my order. All was fine. I then realized I forgot to order a drink so I went back around. When I pull up to the window, I am told that I owe $40 for my previous order! The guy at the window said their system went down and they had to restart their computers and my order was showing I only paid 20 cents. I showed the guy that my starbucks app had no balance as I had just added $40 to it and showed the receipt showing I paid. He refused to acknowledge my receipt, insisted I pay again and would not let me pay for my new order. I asked again for my new order and he said he didn't know what drink was mine because there are many drinks in front of him... rude! my order should have been right in front of him as I was at the window. My son gave him my order as I was pissed by that point. I then was able to pay for my new order and he said "Take your drink" as he rudely gave it to me. I explained that I was not trying to be difficult but I already paid! when I was driving off, I faintly heard someone say "That lady was just wanting to argue and not pay". So unprofessional! That was the worst experience I have ever had at a Starbucks.. The guy said I would see the $40 back on my app yesterday proving I did not pay but a whole day later I still don't see the $$ back on my app. I clearly paid!
