The bartenders are great especially the uma Thurman looking one and the head of security is phenomenal customer service is great. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to party in Pasadena.

Took a while getting to me but that's LA traffic. Delivery driver was apologetic but not his fault, kept me updated on his entire delays. Good folks.

A good local bar with limited food menu - Bar food fries etc. They have pool tables and free popcorn, decent prices and very crowded during fight shows - yes they show fights here especially the big ones.

Solid piece of Pasadena history located right in the middle of Old Town. Good drinks and vibes to enjoy a night out after the work week. Open for indoors and outdoor patio currently. The downstairs is currently being renovated, but looking forward to it re-opening later this year!

Dope place in the middle of the day if youre looking to have a drink and just chill. . I dont know why they have a low rating. Bartender is kind and willing to let you taste their beers. Environment is quite in the day, so if youre a day drinker this place is for you.

Good sports bar. 2 floors. The basement on the weekends has a DJ and dance floor so you can dance. Recommend coming early as there is a long line at night on the weekends.

Dope little bar in downtown Pasadena. All the elements of a quality dive bar without the dirtiness. Pool or back too! Happy hour is a good time to jump in and check it out, the bartenders are really cool.

Fun place on a Saturday night. The bartender was super cool and made strong drinks, that's always a plus. Great place to meet people.

Once you're there, if you know where to go for the cocktails, then you are in the know. When you first enter, it is a rowdy regular hole in the wall kinda bar with some pool tables and tvs. Big sit area around the bar. But when you get the the speakeasy... then it's classy, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Cool up to date look with a nice view and of the strip in Old Town Pasadena. Good sized outside patio. Very good location............right the strip near so many shops, restaurants, delis, etc. .......................... Always a hit in my book! Upstairs is a sports bar and some pool tables in the back, head downstairs and you'll find another bar and a dance floor (my favorite place). I've only been there on Fridays or Saturdays. Mostly old school & new school hip hop with some latin vibes and nostalgic vibes too.

Honestly staff was super friendly and didn't have me waiting to get order for a very long time. Drinks were very well made and not at the cost of a arm and a leg and the staff was very helpful in figuring out what kind of tap i wanted. They also had a super nice atmosphere i came in here to watch the dodgers game alone and ended up making a friend so this place it should get a ten out of ten.

Came here on a Saturday night after a rolling stones concert and this place was definitely poppin. Very chill environment with friendly bartenders that have good drink recommendations. They have a lot of signed Dodger memorabilia hanging around the bar which gives it a cool look. I would definitely come hang out here with a group of friends on any given night.

Good beer options, good company, reasonable prices. They didn't have food when I was there, but that was before June 15th.

21 and over club. Dress code is casual, evening dresses or club wear is fine. It gets hella packed on the Fridays and Saturdays, so if you get there later than 11:30pm most of your night will be spent waiting in line. Affordable drinks, their music playlist is very good. For women this is the club to wear your highest, and most comfortable heels or else you're going to struggle. The dance floors gets crazy packed you'll get stepped on consitantly if you're wearing flats.

LOVEEEE coming to this bar when I come to old Town. If you're a fan of hip hop/rap, 90s/00s with a hint of Spanish music then this is definitely the place for you. Don't be deceived by upstairs, the real fun is on the dance floor downstairs. Fair warning, their is no AC or windows so it does get a bit hot downstairs.

This used to be my favorite bar in Pasadena but it’s changed. The bottom floor is no longer a dance floor. It’s a lounge now. It didn’t have the same vibe it used to have.

Nice place to hang and enjoy a drink. Just don't go down stairs if you don't like a hot atmosphere with people bumping into you. Fridays and Saturday nights are the only nights to go but it will take a while for you to get a drink. Funny Bartenders and a wide selection of drinks.

Been to 35er a few times and I gotta say, it's nothing special...just your regular run of the mill divey bar. Exceptttttt on weekend nights when they serve cheap tacos and quesadillas haha. But honestly, the drinks are not bad - they have a nice variety of crafted beers vs. typical on tap beers, and liquors. The bartenders aren't the friendliest bunch I have ever encountered, but they have gotten the job done. I'm sure ill be back again. ..

Ended up here with some friends after a football game about a month ago. It's a staple of Pasadena and it has a lot to offer as a dive bar. Two stories of fun. Not bad. Still I was left wanting something more, a better time? Feeling? Still can't put my finger on it, so I might have to heart back. Will see.

I've been here a handful of times over the years....Standard dinghy atmosphere Drinks are Eh Locals seem to love it here though.

The staff mean well, but this place is very poorly managed. If you come on a busy night, it's fine if you're not in a big hurry to buy your drink.

Place was just ok. Nothing great about it. Smelled like cigarettes because people were smoking in the outside seating area. This place is not fancy. People had basketball shorts and t-shirts. Music was good.

Has some character and good service but loud, Jameson on the rocks didn't taste like Jameson and was watered down. Music was OK but mismatched (different genres on and off).Popcorn machine was out of popcorn. Wings were not good but $0.50/each

Good bar, not great. Bartender was good and professional which was appreciated. I’m sorry, but over 5 bucks for a domestic beer is just ridiculous. Don’t try to play any music, locals will pay the extra money to skip your music to get to theirs. 2 stars might be too low but I feel like 3 stars would be too much. Visiting from out of town, will find somewhere else to relax at tomorrow.

Two bartenders for a large crowd, took some time to get our drinks. Only two bathrooms available, which also caused long waits. Downstairs needs more ventilation, it got too hot for the amount of people dancing. The music was great, I give the DJ thumbs up.

35er is dive bar in Pasadena which serves low priced beer and bottom shelf alcohol. The venue itself has two floors, the top with a bar, some TVs, and a pool table. The bottom with some tables, another bar, and a dance floor. On the weekends this place is busy. The bartenders are generous with alcohol, although mixed drinks seem to always be made with bottom shelf liquor. You're coming here to get wasted for cheap. Personally I don't like the crowd this place attracts. Guys are overly aggressive when you bump them walking though, and also overly aggressive trying to dance up on women. Some guys rub their crotch on girls, others start heavily thrusting. Do what you want but a lot of conflicts an unnecessary fights happen here. If I decide I want to get trashed for $20 I'll come here, otherwise no thanks.

Absolutely terrible experience during my time. Drink orders were messed up. The waiter had a terrible attitude towards the table next to me.

$10 well drinks!

My friends and I came here to get a cocktail to end the night. The only menu available was a qr code to a website that doesnt work. It took 30 minutes for the woefully understaffed crew to take our order and another 30 to get our drinks. When our 3 old fashions came they were in small plastic cups and they along with the mojito had practically no alcohol. When approached about the overpricing for poor service it was declared company policy.

The owner of the or manager of the 35er was so rude ,cussing and yelling at customers from the ice cream shop next door over a napkin and 1 small ice cream cup left behind, not to say he also yelled inside the ice cream shop were there were customers inside the ice cream shop paying, I felt so uncomfortable that my husband and I left, I will never go to the 35er ever again and support someone or a business like that , smh

Where to begin? Bartender has no sense of urgency, security is more worried changing TVs for people who are spending any money but being allowed to occupy a table, bartenders are completely overwhelmed (nice work on scheduling manager)….speaking of, where is manager? A good manager would be bailing out their employees right now and slinging drinks to help them out.

I went in after my class was over because I had a while before my train was leaving. I sat at the bar counter and sat and sat and sat...I finally ask the waitress is there something wrong...does your bar have issues with service for people like me? I've been sitting for eighteen minutes and no one has even acknowledge my sitting there. She started stuttering and tried to answer but the bartender rushed over and interjected we were servicing our regulars. I told him no you were not. I told him I heard him shooting the breeze with his mundane conversation to look busy and avoid looking my way. They tried to give me a free drink but I decided no thanks because I'm too good for this place...

NEVER GO HERE. Came here for my 21st birthday celebration and the bouncer looked at my ID for half a second before accusing it of being fake. He was extremely rude and it took 10 min of us trying to convince him it was real before he let us in. The night got significantly better once we left. Staff was TERRIBLE

Visited this bar last weekend for a bite to eat and a drink with my wife. We ordered 12 wings and the chicken tenders. The menu on display had the prices listed wrong for both items, and we were charged more than what was listed. When we brought this to the bartender’s attention she said that they forgot to update the menu and wouldn’t match the listed price. Not good at all.
