This Starbucks is the best I’ve been to in my life. They are so generous and kind hearted. They always make my drink perfect. I am a nurse in NYC and I leave for work earlier than Starbucks opens and everyday I work they always have my drink prepared for me before I go to work. Joe, Kierah and staff you make my long day bearable and your kindness does not go unnoticed. Thank you so much

What a great Starbucks! Best baristas! They were friendly and fast. I didn't feel rushed. They were busy but most Starbucks look crazy in a rush. These guys were working smoothly and efficiently. I was so impressed! They had a great system! Top notch teamwork helping each other. It made for such a nice environment and experience. My order was done to perfection! We stopped there when waiting to get our cats at north shore animal league. Wish they were in my home town!
Previously during my visits I noticed long lines and not many employees, sometimes I would miss my train; But "Today" I had such a Great visit!!! They made my caramel brulee latte on time and it was amazing!!!!!! It is now one of my favorite drinks!!! Even though it is still pretty busy the staff worked great together and moved fast. No more missed trains for me!!!😊☺️😍🤩😁😁😁

I am writing to express my concerns about the recent changes I have observed at your establishment. As a loyal customer for the past three years, I have always appreciated the quality of service and the friendly atmosphere. However, I have noticed a significant decline in the operational management lately. On Fridays and Saturdays, the only two staff members I consistently see working are the two girls in the morning, Mariela and Angelica. They are always super friendly and provide excellent service, but it is evident that they are overworked and constantly under pressure. When they are not there theres another young man, Jose who appears to be doing all the work at nights. They frequently get yelled at to speed up the preparation of drinks and food, which is unfair given that they seem to be the only ones working the hardest without any support. It is disheartening to see these dedicated employees struggling without adequate help. I have never seen a manager stepping in to assist them, which raises concerns about the overall management of the restaurant. For this reason itself, I prefer to head down to Soundview where they have an abundance of Employees to ease the pressure at the kids on Main st.

Since it's cold out, I only drink hot coffee and their hot coffee is great. Ordering from mobile, my order is ready by the time I get there, even during train rush. Mostly ice in my ice coffee. Crew needs to be trained better.

Slowest Starbucks coffee shop I know. Prime location Starbucks right on the Main Street around right in-front of the train station, it should be buzzing fast. I waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee, even though there were three young men working there . There was a long line because they were too slow.

I've been getting coffee from this Starbucks location for years now and have been enjoying it. However, recently there has been an inconsistency in my drinks. For instance, I order a vanilla sweet cream cold brew with light ice and light sweet cream (I'm not exaggerating when I say I order the same thing every time). I just ordered the same thing a few minutes ago and when I tasted it it was way too bitter as if there is no sweet cream in it. I also ordered yesterday and it was perfect. Yet when I ordered a week ago they gave me a mountain of ice with a splash of coffee. I also noticed that this inconsistency takes place during weekdays and after school hours. Lastly, the employees never properly update the Starbucks app because when I go to order online the drink says sold out, yet when I try to order the same drink (same day) in store it's clearly in stock because they make it for me. I love Starbucks but I hope that the service improves.

Drinks came out fine but this place is too tiny. Not much room to grab your drink when it's ready. Especially since people seem to love hoarding around that area.

The staff is pubescent and confused, displaying mostly attitude and indifference at the register. Very sad. Thank god that Four 5 is opening down the block. We will finally have another coffee shop in town to choose from. I don’t expect Starbucks to change their attitude but I do wish Jordan was still there. 2 stars only because the milk was not rotten.

Why is the coffee not hot! Today, two coffees were ordered from the counter and started drinking ten minutes later. Baby warm at best..... why These new coffee makers are so slow! As of yesterday, the two new coffee machines were both broken at seven o'clock on monday morning. I do understand equipment breaking down. However, I'm not sure why. I need to pay more money for an Americana. When you can not provide me the drink, then i'm looking for. Typically, I spend five dollars and change 2 times a week. But with the machine being down yesterday, I paid over eight dollars. If it wasn't for the location, I would shop some place else. 8:50 pm and all expresso machines are down as workers want to go home early.
My husband Ordered two almond milk Frappuccino because myself and my daughter are lactose intolerant. He brought out to the car and both Tasted Frappuccino. They were quite nasty , like coffee that had been sitting out & burnt . It had a strange taste which I didn’t realize was milk because when my husband brought them in to have them remade immediately after we got them, the barista said she made them with milk because they don’t have almond milk but failed to tell my husband when she made them and serve them to him. This is not the first time that we’ve had drinks remade at this particular location but this is the first time that we’re served regular milk when we specifically asked for almond and not told that we were given regular milk .The baristas need to be retrained , That would’ve made me and my daughter both very sick. Manager was polite & refund us but im sure if it was a customer who was against drinking milk and then being served milk without being told is really a horrific thing to do to someone.
Their blender never works for a damn Frapp. They keep employing these kids that just don’t care about service at all. Not sure why it stays open. There’s always one thing or another with this location
As someone who has worked in food service I understand the tension / frustration afternoon rushes can cause. However, about a week ago, while waiting for my order I noticed clear workplace bullying. One of your employees, Steph, had snapped at her peer and audibly shared some unkind words to another. I was not the only one who caught this because I had turned to the costumer next to me and we both exchanged looks. I would have stepped in however, it was clearly busy and stressful for everyone behind bar. I rarely leave reviews but I hope whoever manages this cafe speaks to this employee because I can only imagine the abuse and bullying that goes on when no one is looking.
The service at this location has been consistently disappointing, and several baristas have been noticeably rude and dismissive toward customers. Not all of the baristas are like this. One barista, I believe her name is Laura or it is an L name, consistently stands out for her kindness and professionalism. She is always helpful, not only to customers but also to her coworkers, stepping in to support her peers and making sure everyone is being helped and served efficiently. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist others create a noticeably better experience for both customers and staff, and she truly sets the standard for great customer service. But on multiple occasions, staff members have carried on conversations with each other in another language while assisting customers, which comes across as unprofessional and uncomfortable—especially when it’s done in front of people who are waiting or being helped. This behavior makes customers feel ignored and disrespected, as though they are being talked about or excluded during what should be a simple, courteous interaction. Overall, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service has made this an unpleasant experience.
If I could give this Starbucks zero stars, I honestly would. This place is actually unbelievable. The workers here act more clueless than a group project team that didn’t even read the assignment. They can NEVER get an order right. Like, how hard is it to make the drink that’s literally on the screen? I order something simple and somehow get a totally different drink every single time. And the attitude? Oh my god. Instead of just fixing their mistake—which again, they made—they get mad at the customers. I literally watched them curse at actual kids just for asking them to remake something they messed up. How do you yell at children over a frappuccino?? It’s insane. This place seriously needs new management or new training or something because whatever is happening now is NOT it. Until then, I’m going somewhere else. I’m not risking my sanity for a $7 drink that’s gonna be wrong anyway.
