My sandwich was put together just how I want it. Server was friendly and patient with me when I was taking awhile to pick and choose the vegetables and sauces. Plenty of parking and the place is clean!
This is a shout out to the lady who made the footlongs today. We have been having footlong for years and have never seen anyone making the footlong so nicely and neatly. She is a true professional and loved the way she performed each step while making the footlong. The corporate should bring her as a trainer for other locations.
It was a DoorDash order and I ended up with the wrong sandwich. I called and was immediately apologized to and was offered a fair solution. I don’t live near there but because of how they handled their mistake I’d go back. Full stars for the staff being kind to me and working with me.
Bella has excellent customer service! Very friendly and welcoming! She even made my sandwhich the way I asked without giving me grief... I appreciate that! :)
On June 30th I had ordered a 12 inch sandwich and this young male worker had made my sandwich and it was by far the best service I had revived in a very long time he was very postive and the sandwich was very well made. He cared very much and was very sincere it’s nice to see that someone actually cares. Would come back 110% Great work and keep it up!
Its either meal of the day or sub of the day promotion and decided to do the 7.99 meal. I guess since its California its a dollar more than other states which is still not bad. The gentleman who helped me out was nice and made me a good looking sandwich! Will be coming back to this location forsure

Always good food always good customer service each and every time I go in there. Love this subway.

Came here Wed 4.14.22 approx 5:30pm. The girl working named Bella working all by herself prob was the BEST employee ive seen in years. Professional, Fast and Very Welcoming. I wished I had her working for my business. I wil now send all my staff to this Subway location. Thk U Bella! Keep up the great work.
I went to subway yesterday & got the tuna & cheese foot long. Austin made my sandwich perfect. He used the right amount of topics and he was so kind. Thank you Austin for making my experience at Subway in Poway so great!

Turn around and don't come here. Drive up the road and go to the location in the business park for fast and professional service. Today I came to the location by stater bros and there was only 1 guy working with 7 people in line. Okay totally understand the predicament with understaffed due to the pandemic etc. No problem waiting.... minutes keep passing by. The gentlemen working had no sense of urgency or care. Instead of taking someone's entire order, laying out all of their sandwiches and going down the line...bread, meat, cheese, toast, veggies, wrap.... he does EACH sandwich one by one! Taking his sweet time. Really??? After 15 minutes I gave up and left..drove up to the business park location and was in and out within 3 minutes.
Super slow every time. Always only one person working. I've never seen 2 employees in the store at the same time. Food is good, standard subway. No complaints about the food. Just the long wait every time. Ordering ahead is pointless because they don't make it until they reach you in the line.

Pretty bad. I hate that employees don't know how to wash their hands, especially because of all the issues with Covid. While our sandwiches were being made, an employee came out of the restroom and went straight to the cash register and helped the end process. I almost said something, but this is getting to be quite a few different restaurants now. I just wiped everything down with wipes. The bread was stale and we did not finish our sandwiches. I wondered why there was very little traffic here at lunch time and now I know. Shame on lack of training or people's attitudes that they don't have to be clean.
If I could give ZERO stars I would! Worst customer service. Very rude to customers and employee. Not just rude to me but to other customers that walked it.

I wish I could put negative stars! I'm not one to write reviews that are negative. However I must say my experience with Subway hasn't ever been the best. Their new advertising states fresh cut meat. It's NOT! They slice and stock the trays. It's not to order. I decided to give them another chance due to new advertising. We walked in to Poway store, we were ignored as if we didn't exist for 5 plus mins. Finally we were acknowledged with an annoyed employee with NO personality or consideration of why we were there. I wanted to leave but had to see how this continued. It just went down hill from there. After step by step telling employee how we wanted our 2 sandwiches. (Yes, normal procedure) I then had to repeat what we just had her make to pay for it. I then had to walk her through what should be a normal thing dealing with a small gift card to credit a partial charge. Needless to say I will never step foot in a Subway ever again! I sent email to their CS email, I was acknowledged with an a apology from "The Store Owner". It's sad to see where labor cost for so much more money these day's has gone so terribly backwards on customer service in some businesses.
3-4-2026 @4:05pm we walked in, the lady behind counter saw us (made eye contact) but didn't say a word and kept cleaning off counter w back to us. We waited a good two minutes before she turned around and came over to put gloves on. I said, "oh you are new to us". She didn't say anything. I repeated myself and included hi and she said, "what do you want" very rudely! I told her my daughter orders her sandwich a special way and started to tell her how to do it. She refused. She said no that is not how it's done. I said, yes it is as this is how we always get it 3x month for several years now. Boy I sure miss the old employees. Several times she said no I will not do that!. That is not how we do it. She didn't even try to listen to me nor did she care. I told my daughter I am sorry we can't get sandwiches today as this lady won't make them for us and we need to leave. The lady threw the gloves off and made this rude mumbling noise and we left. My daughter is special needs and loves going to subway to order her sandwich for me to blend it for her at home for her dinner or lunch next day. She was so excited to go, but left very disappointed, it breaks my heart. There are only a few things she likes to eat by mouth and this is one of them. There is only one person left at Subway that knows us, knows how my daughter gets it and has no issues with us ordering it this way. We have gone in a few times with new people working there, no problem, just today with this rude lady that should not be working there refused to let us order the way we always do.
Food is good, but the Big sign outside says there’s a sale for a 6 inch for $5. But once you go in and ask for that and it’s already made, they ask for $9 stating the deal stated outside the window isn’t valid anymore. You could’ve said that before we made the sandwich. What a great marketing strategy. Get people to come in for the sale then tell them it’s not valid once the food is ready
Ever since the new owners took over the Subway, the quality has went down. I have given this place four times a chance each and every time my sandwich is very bad and poorly made. that will be the last time I ever come back, unfortunately, not only is the customer service poor but so is the quality. I don’t like to write a bad review, but something needs to be done with the store until then you have lost a customer.
Ordered online. And still had to wait 10 mins after the pickup time so they can even start making my sub, all rushed too. Like whats the whole point on pre ordering then. Its like the 3rd time it happens. I get there is other people but come on.
This is my second time coming to this subway, and this is the last time. I thought I’d give it another chance after they messed up my order the first time, but it was a whole different person and they still messed up my order. You hire employees that can’t read? I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THE POWAY LOCATION.

Super slow with service. While I was waiting in line, the cook had friends outside and kept making signs to them communicating. Made me very frustrated to wait with him playing with friends. The guy helping him just gave the Uber eats package to the wrong customer and must remake now that the driver is really here. Then as soon as it becomes my turn, he asks me about information regarding my job instead of being concerned with my sandwich. Worst experience in a sandwich place and it’s why I go to Jersey Mikes across the street instead for lunch. Won’t be coming here anymore for sure and you shouldn’t wait longer than 10 minutes to eat a sandwich.
