Stamatia in the bakery dept is awesome. I preordered a specialty from Cyprus and she even took the time to tell him how to store them until used.
Beautiful Restaurant, Clean, Food was great..., it was so good that my diet was ruined., whta can you do, nobody's perfect. Staffs are great, did I told you that they are also soooo beautiful?!!!, well..., they are!!!, trust me. To make the story short..., it was a very nice experience eating here. THANK YOU!!!
Was simply delicious everything and the complementary little pastry was such a comforting touch whatva wonderful experience
If you can't get homemade this is best place for traditional Greek Christmas and Easter Sweet Breads. (Vasilopita snd Tsoureki) Their Baklava is also very good.
It's not just a great bakery, but also a tasty restaurant. It's not expensive and so good for the homemade taste of Greece.
Attended a baby shower today. It was great. Food was delicious and waiters were so polite, service was excellcent!
Relaxing atmosphere. Food was good and waitstaff attentive.
Always wonderful when going to Victory Sweet Shop. So welcoming and friendly Many memories of this establishment with family and friends.
Had my wedding there in 2013 (Victory's 1st wedding). Just love the atmosphere, food, and definitely the awesome baked goods that are prepared on premises. Enjoy going bake to get back goods like the greek sampler tray.
Great food and atmosphere, but I still don't understand why the toilets cannot provide privacy. Huge gaps (over 10") above and bellow the toilet door, and huge vertical gap, so you see everyone passing by. The designer of this invention should be taken to jail.
The place is beautiful and rich in atmosphere..., we were treated like royalty... ( for no reason .lol) and we enjoyed the food , the fun we had, and the attentive service. The owner was so involved , and for some reason , made us feel at home in every way.. I highly recommend this place. ., to us it was a diamond in the rough. ...., awesome night out.
I only went here for desserts once. But they just got my heart.. 🫐The berry Napoleon was really delicious! Although berries were not a lot, but the custard was really think and creamy. The mille feullie in between didn’t turn soggy but crispy and flacky! Definitely a good choice if you don’t know what to pick. I also got some Greek pastries home, they were outstanding too. My favorite filo pastry goes to ✨classic baklava. The cookie that was cover by powdered sugar was delicious as well. I’ll say nothing go wrong, and I would visit more!
Booking a party here was the best decision and the easiest thing I have done in a while ☺. They are really professional and great people with the typical for family owned and operated restaurant warm welcoming attitude. The food, drinks and service was amazing. Totally worth every $$$! Many thanks Anna and team! ❤
For my daughter's Bridal Shower we were looking for a venue to hold a Tea Party themed event. We looked at many places throughout Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island to find the right space. This went on for quite some time and my wife and I were getting quite frustrated. A friend suggested we take a look at Victory Garden Cafe in Astoria Queens. We made an appointment to see Anna Sakalis the Event Manager and after a few brief minutes speaking with her, we knew we found the right place! Everything was perfect! She went through the menu options and explained how the space would be decorated and we were sold. She really put us at ease from the moment we walked in. Well, the Bridal Shower could not have gone better. We met with Anna a few days before the party to finalize everything. We brought two car loads of decorations and party favors which she seamlessly and effortlessly merged with her decorations. Day of the party we walked in and the room looked beatiful. Anna and her team really did an amazing job. All of the food was terrific and all of the deserts which are baked on site were amazing. I would also like to give a special shout out to all of the staff at Victory Garden Cafe. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. From serving all the guests to making sure each plate was perfect and also helping carry the gifts out to the cars. They could not do enough to help out. If you are looking for a venue for a special occasion, do yourself favor and go to Victory Garden Cafe! 5 Stars only because I cannot give more! Thanks to Anna and her staff!
This place has such great food. Every time I stop in for dinner or coffee everything is excellent. The staff is very hospitable and always suggests something excellent. Tonight I had spicy feta dip, cheese balls and seriously the best sausage ever. The sausage has like a orange hint which is amazing. A total find in the neighbor. Victory is on stienway off of ditmars.
Dishes really good with waiters so kind. The price is also really good, I recommend it for important occasions or just for a good dinner for couples or friends. Everything is perfect in this restaurant. I want to go it again!
Quaint little spot in Astoria, they accommodated and tolerated out large party. Pork souvlaki was outstanding! Looking forward to our next visit to NYC. Thank you.
Just stopped by Victory Garden Cafe, next to Victory Sweet Shop, amazing food, incredible atmosphere, European style indoor and outdoor seating. This is the place to go. Also, all the Greek Food, the Greek sweets, are awesome.
Great service and food great ; loved water fall and outside garden . dessert so many to choose from oreo cake ; great not too sweet. Will go back and bring mother's and friends and family on Mother's Day.😊😍
Very good pastry! Classic style, French style,Greek delicacies. All right here. Nice outdoor seating. Excellent catering at this place. I really love the ambiance here and the food is always fresh. Good coffee too! They have a great espresso machine!
I went in late to pick out a dessert. Incredible selection of cakes and authentic Greek baked goods. They allowed me to only get a small portion of the chocolate drizzled baklava and it was incredible as well as a very good price. Will definitely be returning for more desserts and bread. Their patio seems well heated too for a cup of coffee and dessert.
The perfect venue for a cozy event! We got marry in this beautiful place and love it! Everything met my expectations decoration, food (very tasty and the cake was gorgeous and delicious) and service. Anna was very patient with us from the beginning. All of our guests were delighted by the place. Everything was perfect in our day!
Last weekend we had a baby shower brunch at the Victor Garden Cafe for about 20 guests and everything about it was delightful. The indoor/outdoor garden space is beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is courteous, professional, friendly, and helpful. A wonderful venue!
I am hoping everyone enjoys the ambiance as much as I do, and the food is delicious. The restaurant is clearly a fine food offering for those with tastes that make them think of home.
We had a lovely time working with Anna from start to finish at Victory Garden Cafe. She streamlined the process of event planning and made our experience smooth while enjoying every little detail of the planning. She was professional and very responsive. It’s seldom you find a place that does everything including decorations. The garden terrace was spacious and cool with windows open to have the air circulate making it a great indoor/outdoor experience. We would go back for the dining experience as well.
Step into the delightful world of Vidtory Sweet Shop at 21-69 Steinway Street! This charming establishment is a haven for those with a sweet tooth, offering an array of delectable treats that are sure to satisfy any craving. From intricately decorated cakes to melt-in-your-mouth pastries, every bite is a taste of perfection. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff add to the overall experience, making it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a sweet escape in New York City.
Had my baby shower here yesterday and exceeded my expectations! Anna helped every step of the way and the restaurant had some decorations all set up which I appreciated. The space is beautiful, airy, and spacious all my guests absolutely loved the place and set up. Everyone felt very safe they truly take all precautions. Thank you Anna for being so accomadating and your amazing wait staff for making my baby shower memeorable!!
The most delicious spanakopita and Greek pastries! Always fresh and consistently excellent. Whenever I bring them back to family on Long Island, I get rave reviews. Take out area is tight if there are more than a few people ordering. They do have a nice garden area in the back, some seating in the front as well as inside.
Anna and her staff are incredible. The service, the attention to detail, the delicious desserts and cake were amazing. Anna made my Godsisters bridal shower so special. If your thinking about booking this venue for any special event do it, you won't regret it. Anna and her staff are fabulous.
Had my folks anniversary 10.8.17 with just a few people and the food is delicious. I have been going to victory for some time and wanted to have my folks anniversary there 40yrs. Anna was very helpful and also helped me choose a cake. Cannoki and chocolate to die for. My cousins and my nephews all of us enjoyed the food and the small decorations that Anna did for my parents. Thank you so much and will be eating there again.
Fantastic food. We got lunch to go, they offered us seating and a small snack, and some water while we waited. Beyond hospitable. Food is amazing. They have a really nice outdoor area with sunroofs. Environment is fantastic.
Love this place, extremely cozy, great food choices, beautiful place to hold events at, event coordinator is extremely pleasant, very kind and empathetic. It's a family owned business with lots of great customer service and different options for events, parties, dinners or just brunch. They also have a bakery and great tasting baklava! I highly recommend this place for events, parties, as a restaurant or simply a bakery!
Oldest Greek bakery in Astoria. Very homely vibes. Lady at counter was very nice. Really good and moist orange cake that’s not too sweet. Big baklava is classic. $11 for both.
We had such an amazing baby shower at Victory Garden Cafe! The service provided by Anna and the rest of her family and staff was world class. The food and deserts were amazing, especially the deserts, seriously the best! Anna took the time to help us during the entire process, she’s a true professional who gave us great recommendation and helped setup our decorations. I would highly recommend having a party there as they provide the full package and unbeatable customer service.
Can't believe I am just finding out about this place. The nice blonde guy working tonight helped me choose a traditionally Greek pastry.
Came here for Thanksgiving dinner with my family and had a great time. The service from the gentlemen working these was attentive and the food filled us up quite well. They offered a kids menu which was a hit for my little one. Would go back for yet another “Big, Fat Greek Thanksgiving”.
I'm afraid I don't know the name of it, but I enjoyed a wonderful custard creation last night topped with delicate sheets of phyllo. The portion was so generous that I didn't need to have any dinner once I got home. You are warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome, like an old neighbor stopping by.
For mm it's 5 stars for the food and ambience. The service does vary in quality quite a bit though.
Anna is a great host for your event! Highly recommended for any special event. Good price and delicious food. Amazing service.
Upon the recommendation of local Greek friends, I decided to try the baklava here. It lived up to the hype - potentially the best baklava I've tasted in all of New York. The service on the bakery side was exceptionally delightful. Alongside this, we sampled some superb grape leaves from the connected restaurant, an experience that left us full and satisfied. While I can't review their full dining just yet, we're eager to return and it's firmly on our to-do list.
Awesome garden and desert is best Good service and Atmosphere is nice and beautiful view ... I love it this place.
Went on a baklava recommendation from some local Greek friends. It was spot on. Possibly the best baklava I have had in NY. Service is so sweet on the pastry side. We ordered amazing grape leaves at the adjoining restaurant. Delicious! We will return to dine in. Cannot comment on the actual food but it's on the to do list.
The place is wonderful and the service excellent. The food is fresh and sangria is delicious. Highly recommended.
I lack words to describe the attention and courtesy towards my family, and in special attention to my daughter. The food was excellent, and the unbelievable thing is that we arrived at 10:30pm and everything was freshly made. To top it all off, my daughter was talking dinosaur all the time, and we also ordered the children's menu for her, and the waiter heard her saying dinosaur. Result: on her plate came nuggets in the shape of a dinosaur and she was almost crazy with happiness! that is, it was a unique gastronomic experience and magnificent service. We will return for sure!
Everything was lovely working with Anna from start to finish at Victory Garden Cafe. She made my bridal shower experience smooth and we enjoyed every little detail of planning and having the shower. Our guests kept raving how good the place is and the scrumptious, generous food serving! It’s seldom you find a place that does everything including decorations. Top it with an amazing coordination from Anna and really nice waiters. We will be back to this venue for other event for sure! We loved every moment of the shower and planning too. The garden terrace was spacious, cool, and they even had the windows open to have the air circulation and also air purifiers in place for guests comfortability. Anna, thank you for making my shower so beautiful! We are so so thankful!
I enjoyed my experience here, the baklava is my favorite. Service is amazing too, the staff is very attentive and the place is neat. I would highly recommend!
Had my daughter-in- law’s baby shower today, it was great. The service was great, the servers were very attentive and patient with us. Food was very good and to the people that complained about bringing their own cake, this was the first thing Anna told us, we couldn’t. She explained that they would make whatever we wanted and they did, it was delicious. They decorated plus we gave them stuff and did what we wanted. I have no complaints.
Had a dinner here on new year eve! Food was excellent. And the service was good. I will definitely book it again! My family was really happy. Thank you... and I did got the lucky 🪙
Service is great- very nice staff. Nice patio in the back too. I forgot my credit card there and they sent it to me by UPS! Really great service. The food is good. Not the best Greek I’ve had but it was a nice experience. The baklava was good, everything was okay. Those 3 food dishes were $25 each on Thanksgiving. Probably $17 of value each, so a bit pricey. Nice place for a coffee and a nice dessert cake slice.

My wife and I hosted our Brunch Baby Shower here on January 28th and everything was AMAZING. We originally found this place while looking for spaces to host the baby shower and their outdoor-indoor garden space immediately caught our eye. I reached out to their event planner Anna and I have to say that from day one she was very attentive and professional. She responded to email inquiries promptly and was very accommodating when it came to our face to face visits (we would normally meet after 7 o'clock). We met in person a few times to coordinate all the details for the event; one thing we loved was that catering is included in all the packages. That took a huge weight off our shoulders. Their brunch menu had many different options to choose from and the cake, cupcakes and cake pops were absolutely delicious. The day of the event Anna and her team were there the whole time making sure that everything was just perfect. The venue's staff are A+, I mean they wouldn't even wait for a drink pitcher to be near empty before they would be on top of it and bringing out a new one. Overall we are super happy with our experience.
Where do I start? My experience working with them was FORMIDABLE! From start to finish, Anna made me feel comfortable and provided guidance with her years of expertise. I was looking for a place to celebrate my son's Christening. After visiting Victory Garden, I looked no further. The space was clean and beautiful. The blue wall looks even better in person. My idea to have a banner against the blue wall went out the window when I realized that it is a work of art. A small balloon garland and some flower arrangements adorned the ambience and were more than enough. Anna made the whole planning process easy, always responding to my emails and/or calls promptly. As far as the food, our guests all loved it. I could not he happier with the outcome. We had the strawberry shortcake. It was absolutely delicious! I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Hidden gem for late night coffee! Got a cappuccino and loved it, also was extremely affordable (less than $4).

Hosted our wedding reception here at Victory Garden Cafe, had an outstanding time. Working with Anna and the team at Victory was pretty easy, and the prices are more than reasonable. For our reception, we chose their standard dinner service with the added cocktail hour. The cocktail hour comes with a buffet of Greek appetizers: spanakopita, moussaka, pasticchio, dolmades ... I believe fifteen in total. They were all delicious. The standard dinner service also comes with an appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert. We had delectable Greek dips, Greek salad, and a choice of chicken, steak, or salmon, or seafood for dinner, and baklavas for dessert as well as a cake. Overall, all the food was great, but it was a lot of food, and many of my guests merely picked at the dinner/dessert portion of the meal. Drink wise, standard non-alcoholic drinks are included in the base price, as well as their "Love Potion" signature cocktail, for both the cocktail and dinner services. For other alcohol we chose to open a tab (knowing much of my family does not drink), but there are various open bar options as well. The venue itself is an outdoor covered patio with an additional fountain area. It's surrounded by stone walls and garden plants with recessed exterior lights. It's very pretty and cozy, not necessarily luxurious. They do offer a set of their own decorations and tableclothes for free, as well as additional options for a fee. You can also bring your own decorations if desired. We dropped ours off a few days in advance and everything was laid out to our instructions and looked beautiful. They do not allow outside food, including cakes. They do make their own cakes which are very good at a fair price. We had a two tier cake with flowers for around $220.00 if I remember correctly. All in all, we had a wonderful reception and everyone was pleased with the space! Great job!
Went on a trip up north to see family ....absolutely loved this place I got a big sweet tooth so do my siblings the sweets and hospitaly where top notch
👍 My best friend had her Bridal Shower there this past weekend. It was everything she could of hoped for. Planning an event with the team was flawless, great communication. The day of the event about 6 waiters were catering to our party. We weren't rushed to leave and at no moment did we feel uncomfortable. It was great, would highly recommend!
Had dinner here last night and loved it! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The desserts were amazing too — we couldn’t resist! Cozy place, great service, and delicious food. Definitely coming back soon!
I was excited to visit after following them on social media, and they certainly did not disappoint. The best pastries with just the right amount of sweetness. You can purchase by the pound or in variety packs. Vasilopites in different flavors - sesame, almond, cake. Friendly and helpful service. Ευχαριστώ και Καλή Πρωτοχρονιά!
My family and I went for Mother’s Day dinner. It was a pre-fix menu which was exceptionally priced. We started with delicious cocktails and had wonderful appetizer of different, tasty, fresh dips accompanied by warmed slices of pita bread and delectable spinach and cheese pie. We all had individual Greek salad that was fresh and very good. My mother got the lamb chops that were out of this world! Seasoned nicely with a wonderful grilled taste. The sirloin steak and shrimp scampi were also incredible. The side potatoes were tender and lemony and a nice accompaniment to the entree. Our waiter was the best! He was very friendly and attentive and took the best care of us. The desserts were so delicious and made on house! Even though we were full, we had to make room for those desserts! The ambiance was beautiful and we overall had a great experience! We look forward to going again and telling our friends.
Good service, friendly staff members. Everything done in timely manner and organized. Food quality is good.
I had a doctors app nearby after work. Was extremely tired and hungry. The Bengal gentleman was so kind, nice & polite. He made a wonderful egg cheese croissant, provide me complementary dunuts. Shop was clean as well as serving plate, he wear gloves. Wish him good luck. Thank you.
To be honest, the place isn’t the cleanest and you can feel the workers’ frustration working there. However, when I do order, they always come through. One time, somebody took my order before I got there and when I asked the worker where my order was, he immediately made me a new one. They even give me extra munchkins which is always great even if they can be flat and dry sometimes, which does not only happen at this location. When I order bagels, they always put a lot of cream cheese and the lattes are good. Overall, I do trust this place more than the other locations around the area, but they can do better. By the way, they have a new self-order kiosk in the store!
We were in town on business, and found this cute bakery ! We especially enjoyed getting the Greek pastries. Delicious !
Bakery specializing in traditional Greek ( middle eastern) desserts. Baklava, kataifi etc.)
Had brunch withy parents. Service was great, decorated beautifully fornthe holiday. Lots of coffee & dessert options. Brunch menu was ok, wish they had more options bit food was delicious.
Nice pastrys and deserts. But their appitizers were a little pricey. Front outside seating is on street and a bit loud and dusty from vehicle traffic. Smelled line fumes from bus when it passed. Overall nice place. Opt for backyard outdoor seating if its available.
My husband and I had plans for high tea, but since we were late due to traffic, we ended up having an early dinner. We got there at 4:45 and there weren't many people. The inside was red and gold, but was elegant. The staff was very professional, and we treated ourselves to a 1 oz of Russian Osetra, and it was heavenly! They prepare the bellini right at your table! Since we had that as our appetizer, we ordered our entrees which was duck and a veal chop - delicious, but a generous portion! For dessert, the hubs had the chocolate pyramid and I tried the Czar dessert with the edible gold, which was actually an nougat ice cream with the shaved gold and a bit of caviar on top. We would definitely return!
Service and food were good, took a little bit longer to get our appetizer but it was made fresh. Server was attentive and friendly. Very laid back, wasn’t rushed or anything. Food was consistent and typical Greek cuisine.
Beautful, expansive space. Good food, great service, lots of interesting spaces. The back garden is outstanding and they opened it just for us. We loved it. We came for the desserts, the reknowned sister bakery on site is famous for them. The resteraunt doesn't seem to have taken off, it should be full of Greeks ;c). Perhaps it needs some tweaks. The high end Greek salads in the area come dressed and have as many or more non-lettuce items as lettuce (mostly tomatoes but lots of feta and olives, etc). The salad here has a chunk of feta but only a couple olives... It does not come dressed but has RW vinegar and olive oil on the table. I can't make an emulsion at the table. The haloumi was good, warm not hot, but small The Gyro plate was good, they made sure and gave me plenty of lamb as requested but ground??? and unseasoned???? A valiant effort. I should have saved a little lettuce and tomato from the side salad (which actually seemed more balanced than the entree salad) for the sandwich. The fries were fresh potatoes but could have been a little more done. (Maybe ask for crispy) The desserts were the best things. Loukoumades were great but not excellent, they needed a bit more flavor. I ordered a mouse cake. They brought the wrong one (almost the same) but it was very good. Beautiful space, great expansion of the business but needs a more experienced chef and attention to detail to make it competitive in Astoria.
Thanksgiving lunch was decent, servers were very busy understaffed. Bit too pricey for service, small portions. Overall, very nice atmosphere in covered outdoor area
Was attending a beautiful baby shower. Lovely garden space. Beautiful wall tile. There were a few more guests than anticipated, so a table was set up. The staff did not offer the pregnant hostess a non-alcoholic drink. She should have been served the first drink. The staff refused to begin serving food to ANYONE before one of the hostesses, who is very pregnant, paid the balance for the additional guests. It was hard for her to get to her purse. And they were not polite about it either. My omelet was as tough as a rubber tire and insipid. The coffee was good. Not planning to return. The rest of the place was empty at prime brunch time. I can guess a few reasons why.
I hosted my baby shower here. I was happy with the venue space and package. The dessert table was wonderful. Anna overall did a great job. However, this was a sit-down brunch. With that, I expected servers to ask my guests if they wanted coffee, tea, soda refills etc. I was unaware that my guests had to walk outside the venue space to a separate bar to get drinks. You can imagine my embarrassment seeing my guests with their brunch meal and nothing to drink but water. Anna clarified after the event that this was their drink policy. I felt though that if I am paying for a sit-down meal per head with a beverage package that the service team should have been responsible for full service. (I paid in full plus 20% gratuity before event) It really tainted my experience because I was more concerned about my guests being taken care of than celebrating my baby shower and company of family and friends. Overall this is a gem of a space here in Astoria with a lot of potential. They do need to improve the quality service for events to make it what it could be.
I have purchased my Greek pastries from Victory on a number of occasions. A couple of years back, it was a little run down until it was renovated. There is now a seating area and a more welcoming bakery section. The pastries are very good, moderate size but a tad expensive. You really can't go wrong with any item. The counter help is friendly.
Worst customer service ever. It’s been so much issues just to name a few . I pre ordered my cold drink and 10 mins I get there still wasn’t ready I had to wait while one of the workers was just on her phone texting . Then another time they had gotten my order wrong and when I told them the lady had an attitude .. worse customer service ever .. would not come back .. also everytime I redeem my points for things they NEVER give me the items and since it’s free I don’t really make a big issue but they customer service needs to fix
I love dunkin! great coffee in most locations. Their app has great deals, which I love. But I must say this location used to be one of my favorites because they do make great coffee and sandwiches. But it has been a few weeks that the customer service has gotten bad!! The employees are always using their phones. THE WORST PART IS THAT THEY SEE YOU BUT YET, they keep using the phones. It will take them minutes before they ask you if you need anything... I always order online, and it takes me time to get there, and when I get there, the order is not ready. Why? Because the employees don't even check online orders, they would rather check their phones.. Management, please take action because it does sucks that a good location has bad customer service.
Don’t get the spinach pie or the semolina cake; the flavors were off and the food made me feel sick. Can’t speak for anything else on the menu. Staff was nice though!
Too slow. They don't bother getting to your app order, they tend to inside customers first who take 20 minutes, same types that hold up the line at check cash places. Trust me, unless you have all the time in the world, you'll miss the train or bus waiting, which are right next to this location. They need to hire more help.
I’ve been coming to this location for many years, simply out of pure convenience but Im rethinking that now. I’ve never had an issue with the customer service, in fact some have been nice and slipped me a few extra munchkins or donuts but the store staff do need to be better trained on food safety. Reusing heated milk to save a few bucks can send a person to the hospital. (hot milk for an ice latte?) This isn’t the first time I saw them do this with my order- the first time I actually had food poisoning
This year's Vasilopita and Tsoureki were absolutely horrendous. Tasted sour and smelled like pickle juice. They have been very inconsistent, last years wasn't that good either, but definitely worse this year. Different bakers, different recipes, or maybe they just don't care anymore, who knows. I will be looking elsewhere for my bakery needs going forward.
The woman behind the counter thought I was using a fake card and waited until I called the bank for them to tell me she never ran my card. Then she didn’t place all items in bag Incase I was going to steal It. I have never been treated so Poorly by any establishment in this area and I’m so disappointed
These people have been in business "forever", but the quality of their sweets is just plain horrible. I have tried every Greek pastry shop in NY City. Victory Sweet Shop is the worst. All you have to do is try any other Greek pastry shop in NY City. You will thank me.
I visited my family in NY for Christmas; it was going to be a very solemn and difficult time for me due to the loss of my husband and my Mother. My Sister always buys treats from Victory & decided to buy for the family & to bring back to Atlanta. Unfortunately my experience was not very good. My sister spent over $100 on treats and left a $20 tip in the jar. The middle age Greek women who helped us was not very nice at all. I spent $60.00 on treats and Iasked for 2 extra plastic containers so I can use to pack the cookies for my trip back to Atlanta. She bluntly denied my request. I was very disappointed with the service especially after both my sister and I spending so much money at this bakery and had to buy Tupperware. When I arrived home 2 days later I discovered the kourabiedes & melonomacarona were very dry and stale tasting that I discarded them! Very dissatisfied!
Unfortunately I stopped into the bakery area here for coffee and baklava on way to a kids party and purchased several types of baklava since it all looked so appealing. The dough and nuts were very stale- tasting on all the items purchased. Very disappointed that I spent $16 here. Learned my lesson for any bakery I don’t know well: try one item first!
I never had old pastry from there before, we went there today and the cakes were awfully old, if you know they are not fresh let your customers know instead of bringing them to the table, overall not the greatest experience today.
I travelled all the way from Utah to patronize this place. I have ordered from them before, promoted them to friends, I have sent my family there when visiting NYC, and just a few days ago my husband and I went there for the first time. We purchased pastries and spanakopita. We had drinks and snacks in hand that were purchased elsewhere but we asked if we could sit in their front tables and eat our spanakopita. There were no other patrons in the restaurant. The lady who helped us said it was fine. As we were eating, a man who either managed the place or worked there came to us and very loudly told us that because we had other food items we purchased along our way, that we are not welcome to eat there. He continued to say that even though we were eating food from his restaurant, the other stuff we had purchased should not be in his restaurant. He was extremely rude. The food was horrible. The service was obviously horrible. and the place looked like it was ready to fall down. What a disappointment to a business I have supported (online) for years. What a way to welcome fellow Greeks to your establishment. We went down the street to Artion Bakery which was clean, beautiful inside, and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. I am so glad my tourist dollars went to Artion, and not to this place. Shame on him.
The service and atmosphere were mediocre. The food was absolutely atrocious. I found a white hair on the top of my burger. The meat was extremely bland and had a weird after taste. Unfortunately do not recommend for lunch and dinner.
I had my bridal shower here. I do not recommend this place. This place its all about the money and not customer service. I was brought a bill at the end of my shower $80.00 I was charged for a 2 year old kid. The contract said 2 year old dont pay. I had to tell the waiters what to do on the event. I had tables that had extra chairs. I was also told that the waitors were going to pass around with drinks and they didn't, they left pitchers on the tables. I was also told that the place had decorations and they didn't thank God i did not trust them (I did my own decorations). And lastly this place said outside vendors were ok. Its not. I wanted to bring my own cake and the place refuse to let me. So since i already made the deposit and i did not want to stress out anymore (this place stressed me out to the max. I had a terrible headache the day of my event) i decided to go with their cake. I gave them a picture and Anna assured me that it will be very similar to the picture ( I was worried because the pictures i saw online are terrible, I brought up the pictures and her response was that people didn't want to pay for it. So I decided to pay). The Cake its very important since i had a themed shower. The day of the shower i saw the cake and it was HORRIBLE!!! It was rushed. There was a table in the middle of the bathroom. I had to tell the waiter to remove it. These is supposed to be taken care of by their supervisor and not by the bride. This place likes to do multiple events at the same time. They do not tell you that. When signing the contract i paid for the garden to be just for my event. Well there was people from a different event walking around my event. I was very disappointed by this place. I spent a lot of money here to treated this way. I did not say anything the day of the event because I was over it.
I bought tsoureki bread and name victory shop. I bought one to try it to see if it's worth to buy 30 of them because I didn't want to spend one week making them at home but let me say the tsoureki was duscusting my 3 kids Said mommy let's go home and make them ourselves because I have 40 years experience making tsoureki and that's what we did. This place is garbage. One time and last time I go here. I am pure greek and I am thankful and blessed that I know how to bake all greek pastries, bread and Italian pastries. I am soo proud of myself
My review is only for their loukamades, they were the worst I ever had. So bad I threw the away.
I ordered hot coffee. But she gave me a normal like cold coffee
Went there to get a sandwich. The Indian guy who has a “shift leader” tag on was on his phone ALL THE TIME. He had the pair of glove on the phone while taking my order and used the same pair while making my sandwich. Which is very DISRESPECTFUL and DISGUSTING. How could you wear the same gloves to prepare food after touching your phone? This is a serious health code violation which will get reported to the authorities. Very disappointing experience and will never go back again.
Ordered through uber eats and requested a blueberry muffin toasted with butter. Did not get that but got a nasty STALE corn muffin instead. Reported. Please do not purchase from this location.
Of all dunkin locations I’ve been too this one by far is the worst. Had a sausage egg and cheese but edges of sausage was hard and inedible and this has happened twice now. I usually put at least 2 sweetened flavors in my iced coffee but I have not tasted a single flavor in my drink it’s straight iced coffee. The worst part is when even getting your food the employees are super unattentive and chatter. You have to place your order well in advance for employee to acknowledge your order. I average 15 mins from pickup just to get my order in hand. I have dunkin at least once or twice a week in various locations this one by far is the worst I’ve seen in years. It definitely needs a newer overhaul in look and feel too.
They took 20 minutes to make 2 iced coffees. They also got my order wrong. 4 times the sugar I asked for and they used oat milk even though I asked for regular. Their workstation is a mess, and they got coffee all over the outside of the cups too so I left with sticky hands with no time to clean because I was running late. Because they took 20 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. They wasted even more of my time because they insisted my order was for someone else and I had to show them my receipt to get some simple iced coffee. They can’t even seem to read the orders or receipt numbers properly. Seems like it’s their first day working any job and there were only 2 staff. I could see all the ingredients they were working with. Their workstation is simple and intuitive. It would have been faster if I hopped the counter and made the coffees myself than watching these illiterate monkeys struggle to read a simple order for 20 minutes. Go to the seven eleven one block down. You can make your own coffee there or get a bottled coffee.
The service is very good, there was a white American boy, very nice. BUT THE ESTABLISHMENT GIVES A LOT TO TALK ABOUT, IT LOOKS CLEAN but look at the cockroach and the flies in the donut area and the donuts are not covered. Also mention that the station where they prepare the sandwiches is dirty, it should not be like that So the manager or owners should do something about it, before someone calls sanitation.
False advertisement. Their digital display shows $3 for medium iced or hot latte. When you order it the price is $5.11. I was told the manager hasn't taken the sign down. Ok, how about telling the customers who order the item that the price is different. I should've left the drink there.
I ordered 4 large ice coffees...wish the cashier would have told me that DD had a promotion going on for 2 medium ice coffees for $4. She was too busy looking at me ....I guess. I didn't notice the promotion because it was really busy and I saw the banner as she scanned my phone for payment. When I asked her about the deal she just looked at me dumbfounded...$%^&*(@! Really....!@#$$$Could have saved over $5.
