Solo puedo decir que la comida y la atención de diez! No habíamos probado la comida aún y solo por su atención y la carta volvimos a reservar para el día siguiente, no nos defraudó para nada. Espero poder volver a Ronda y por supuesto repetiremos !
Espectacular la atención, el lugar, la limpieza y cada uno de los platos . La tarta de queso es ÚNICA, ESPECTACULAR. Sinceramente nunca comj hna tarta tan rica. Jose Antonio una EXCELENTE persona.
Uno de los sitios más especiales en Ronda. Gran relación calidad precio y ambiente perfecto. Los consejos y profesionalidad del staff de Tropicana junto con su cocina hacen del restaurante un must de Ronda. Cuando volvamos a Ronda repetiremos seguro.
Desde el principio una experiencia gastronomica brutal. Llegas y el ambiente da gusto. El servicio que tienen es para resaltar ya que los camareros te atienden con una amabilidad de 10, te explican muy bien cada plato y su elaboración. La comida ESPECTACULAR. Platos muy elaborados. Por recomendación suya nos pedimos un "Gazpachuelo" que es un plato típico malagueño y que no habíamos probado nunca y exquisito. Muy recomendable. Si pasamos por Ronda volveremos!!!
Sirva como ejemplo del recuerdo que me dejó la experiencia de comer en este restaurante, que comimos en el hará casi un mes, el 28 de julio y fue fantástica en todos los sentidos, tanto que no se me ha olvidado y he querido hacer justicia escribiendo esta reseña. Tanto el trato de José Antonio como la comida con la que desde la cocina te sorprende su padre, te hacen disfrutar sin lugar a dudas. El rabo de toro simplemente no te lo puedes perder jamás, espectacular. Muy bueno el salmorejo y también la presa y tarta de chocolate no le hacía de menos… No te lo pierdas si tienes oportunidad de ir.

Hace 8 años que conocí esté rincón de Ronda, he subido una foto de cuando nos aconsejaron esté lugar hace 8 años. Hoy es un sitio totalmente reformado pero conservando la amabilidad y el buen hacer de su equipo. Degustamos tres platos que estaban espectaculares, es un restaurante que se caracteriza por su cercanía con el cliente y la elaboración de sus platos. Pusimos el broche al cumple en Tropicana. El entrante nos encantó, el bacalao muy rico y el rabo de toro a la rondeña muy recomendable. La verdad es que el sitio tiene buen ambiente y el trato es bueno. Muy recomendable.
Los platos eran elaborados, la ensalada y la presa fue lo que más me sorprendió. El servicio del camarero que nos atendió de matrícula de honor, atento, explicaba los platos con mimo y recomendaba muy bien. Los platos de calidad, el lugar y el ambiente hay que pagarlos, sin duda un lugar muy bueno para una celebración especial.
Visitando Ronda, qué me encanta, mi marido decidió qué comieses allí. Fuimos tres personas. De primero pedimos para compartir canelon de morcilla y huevos rotos con jamón, el canelon estaba exquisito, todo un descubrimiento. De segundo pulpo con puré de patatas, espectacular, tartar de atún, riquísimo y costillas asadas, exquisito. Los camareros pendientes de todo, con especial mención a Antonio, con ése acento andaluz qué tanto me gusta y muy simpático. Un sitio muy bonito cien por cien recomendable al que volveremos segurísimo ,todo un acierto
Llegamos al pueblo y un señor nos indico muy amablemente donde aparcar, decidimos ir a comer y casualidades de la vida , ese señor era el metre del Tropicana. Restaurante muy bonito , clásico y a la vez moderno, el servicio espectacular, la comida muy rica a buen precio. Volveremos. Gracias por vuestro trabajo .
Experiencia increible. La atención del metre espectacular, en mi caso, me recomendó el galete de atún, aún diciéndole que prefería el atún poco cocinado, insistió en que debía probarlo, auténtico acierto, el mejor plato de atún que he probado nunca. Los demás platos también excelentes, en especial los principales. La tarta de queso payoyo espectacular para quien le guste con sabor a queso y la de chocolate también muy buena para chocolateros por su intenso sabor. Se notaba su experiencia, como supo recomendarnos para nuestros gustos, y un detalle sacándonos las gyozas, tras conversar sobre su experiencia en restaurantes en Bilbao. Sin duda el mejor restaurante de los que probamos en nuestro viaje, y además sumando buena relación calidad precio. Desde entonces recomendado a todo el mundo y lo seguiré haciendo, volveremos P.D.: soy Gorka, pero ya nos daba vergüenza corregir el nombre. Más vale una buena reseña tarde que nunca 😁
Nunca pensé que me iba a encontrar al mejor restaurante de España en Ronda. Nos pedimos pato, tartar de atún y carrillera. Yo comí la carrillera porque es uno de mis platos favoritos, y es, sin exagerar, el mejor plato de carrillera que he comido en todo España. Pero eso no es todo, fanático también de la tarta de queso y habiendo probado las mas famosas de España, decidí pedir la tarta de queso de cabra y no puedo dejar de pensar en cuándo voy a volver de nuevo porque es simplemente la mejor. Cremosa, con sabor y personalidad. José Antonio hijo y padre, tienen una joya y usted que lee no puede dejar de venir. La atención, excelente.
Mi descubrimiento favorito en Ronda. Si tuviera que elegir una sola comida de toda mi vista a Málaga, sin duda me quedaría con la experiencia que viví en este restaurante en Ronda. Llegué sin reserva, algo arriesgado en Ronda, pero la gestión fue impecable. A pesar de estar concurridos, me atendieron muy amablemente y buscaron la forma de acomodarme rápidamente. El plato que lo cambió todo El Galete de Atún Rojo a baja temperatura es de otro planeta. El punto de cocción a baja temperatura hace que el atún se deshaga en la boca, manteniendo toda su jugosidad y el sabor intenso.
Un restaurante que mezcla perfectamente lo típico con la vanguardia. El aparcar cerca está complicado si quieres aparcar en la calle (porque quizás se puede derretir el volante con el calor, y por la disponibilidad), pero de todas maneras hay varios parkings subterráneos que te pueden hacer muy bien el apaño, y ver un poco de Ronda antes de llegar. Tanto el ambiente como los propios camareros ya se notaba que era un sitio muy cuidado y de muy buena calidad. Los camareros super atentos y amables (con un toque andaluz, que siempre se agradece) y los tiempos de cada plato geniales. Entre dos personas, con tres platos se va de escándalo, y si le añades un postre ya vas con una sonrisa de lado a lado. Probamos la parrillada, y estaba genial, incluso para uno que no le hace mucho chiste la coliflor, gracias a la salsa y el punto que tienen. El filete de atún estaba espectacular, con un punto muy bueno, nada crudo por dentro (hay gente que si quiere más crudo tendría el tartar). Y luego de carne comimos la presa ibérica que ese si que estaba a un punto perfecto, que con solo las especias que llevas, es espectacular. Pero lo que más nos sorprendió fue las guarniciones, los tallarines del salmón, pero especialmente el risotto de trigo de la presa ibérica. Si fuera un plato solo me lo pediría seguro, me encantó. Por último rematamos con la tarta de queso de cabra de la zona, que aunque no fuera uno de los mejores postres que he tomado, me encantó por lo distinto y también por saber qué es de la zona (uno como que lo disfruta de otra manera). Muy contentos y recomendado al 100% si quiere uno una cena especial, y al ser especial no le importe gastar un poco más (que a mí punto de vista lo merece).
En nuestro viaje a Ronda, nos costó decidirnos por un sitio para comer, estuvimos dudando entre tener vistas o comida de calidad y con El Tropicana acertamos totalmente. Sitio acogedor con una cocina de calidad y un servicio aun mejor. Los camareros son encantadores y están atentos en todo momento a tus necesidades. Todo muy bien explicado, muy buena atención y comida de calidad y con buenas raciones. Si algún dia vuelvo a Ronda, repetiré.
Comimos el día de San Valentín y reservamos con solo un día de antelación. Tuvimos muchísima suerte de conseguir mesa, porque todos los restaurantes estaban completos ese día. Nos ofrecieron la única mesa disponible a las 13:00, avisándonos de que debía quedar libre antes de las 14:30 porque ya estaba reservada después, y nos pareció totalmente razonable. Aunque finalmente llegamos un poco más tarde porque nos costó encontrar aparcamiento, nos atendieron muy bien en todo momento. La comida nos encantó. Yo pedí el solomillo con foie y salsa de trufas, espectacular, y mi marido pidió rabo de toro, que le apasiona, y estaba delicioso. De postre compartimos una tarta de queso de cabra con un sabor intenso y riquísimo. Sinceramente, casi nunca escribo reseñas, pero esta vez lo merecía. Volveremos cada vez que subamos a Ronda.
Desde la llega, hasta el último apretón de manos al despedirnos, no dejamos de pasar por un auténtico placer para todos los sentidos. No pudo ser mejor el trato. Rapidez y eficiencia de la mano, y unos platos… que para que contar!!!

Pleasant atmosphere, fantastic food, very kind and wonderful owner of the restaurant. If we come to Ronda again we will come here. If you go to Ronda, eat at the Tropicana restaurant, you won't regret it. We took tuna prepared at a low temperature and oxtail, salad according to the host's recipe. Good wine. Delicious!!!
Restaurante Tropicana is a family owned restaurant run by the third generation of owners . It was a word-of-mourn how we learned about this place. Food, service, and atmosphere are great. After finishing starters, we knew we want to come again. The wine selection is very good. El Amasco is great, dry fruity red wine from Ronda. Although it is a 15% alcohol wine, it tastes very light to drink. It goes perfectly with roasted goat leg and chocolate cake. This restaurant is kids-friendly, our children absolutely loved it!
What a wonderful and beautiful restaurant! The service, the atmosphere, and of course, the fantastic food — everything was perfect. We were and still are thrilled to have discovered this amazing place. We will definitely be guests there again on our next visit. I took my girlfriend out to dinner for her birthday at the Restaurante Tropicana in Ronda. It was a wonderful dining experience. The owner and wait staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious. We started with a really tasty, unique “Tropicana” green salad with cucumbers, avocado, mango and fresh tomatoes. We both had a the baked salmon with mustard coating and garden vegetables — a generous portion, seasoned and baked to perfection. The side of bread was warm and crusty. The carrot cake and creamy chocolate cake, with decaf expresso, put a really nice cap on a top notch meal. We’ve had dinners in Madrid, Cordoba and Sevilla that were not nearly as good AND more expensive. Restaurant Tropicana is a must for dinner when you’re visiting Ronda.
Amazing dinner we had yesterday in Tropicana! All what we ordered was fenomenal, but what we will never forget is the Beef carpacio🤤. I highly recommend this place! Their working hours are very strict so pay attention to that. Enjoy! You will not regret it!
One of the best meals I have had in a long time. I ordered the duck, and my girlfriend the tenderloin. Both were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Thanks to the staff for accommodating us last minute so that we could celebrate our anniversary. Extremely friendly and professional. Next time we are in Ronda, we will stop by again.
The place was recommended by our Airbnb host and it is definitely worth it. The food is amazing and so is the service. When visiting Ronda, I will be sure to go to the restaurant again. It is advisable to make reservations.
What a lovely wonderful cute restaurant in the heart of Ronda Spain, the staff was super welcoming even though we didn’t have a reservation, the menu is nice and extensive but not over bearing, opted for no wine as this was a stop over on the way to Grenada but the tuna my god was great and the beef carpaccio! Get. The. Tuna! I’ll include a pic!
When we first entred we was a bit skeptic about the menu with very sofisticated plates. We usually tend to eat more simple/basic food. But then we ordered to eat and everything was AMAZING, from meats, to fish and dessert! Great food, lovely staff, great ambiance, lovely details and amazing experience! Thanks a lot!

Love the food! Fresh and tasty! The texture of roasted octopus cooked well with its fresh taste and nice sauce. The Goat cheese cake was also very good, creamy and soft texture, with a hint of goat cheese aroma👍🏻lovely Good atmosphere and good service with acceptable price!
One of Ronda's fine cuisins. Enjoyed the grilled octopus and ox tail tapas. The staff are very friendly and supportive. I visited around 9pm and waited about 30 minutes and saw a sign that the kitchen was closed when leaving (~10:30 pm)
TOP 1 best restaurant in Ronda, Malaga. Each dish has its own unique taste, great cooking skill and the chef knows how to bring out the food material ‘s taste and umami !! The service is great. We are lucky to get a table for 6 persons at the very last minute. All dishes I have posted are HIGHLY recommended to order !! HIGHLY recommended!! Best of the best !!!

A fantastic experience at a great restaurant. Make sure you make reservations! We included a shared an appetizer and bought a bottle of wine and the total was around 50€ per person. The host and service were excellent as was the food.
Restaurant Tropicana is one of the best restaurants in Ronda, if not the best! We had a wonderful time here. The food was delicious, the ambiance was nice, and the waiters very friendly and helpful. We had the following: - The Tropicana salad: bigger than we expected. Really tasty and refreshing. The goat cheese/milk ice cream was an interesting addition - Ajoblabco: a classic in Andalucía. Very refreshing and tasty. The sardines were not overpowering the dish - The octopus: the chosen combination of spices was a nice surprise. The octopus was very tender and the sauces very good - The goat cheese cheesecake: mouthwatering! Made us very happy The waiters were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they spoke to us in Spanish and gave extra explanations when we told them that we're currently learning the language. Overall, a really nice experience!
Wonderful restaurant with excellent grill dishes and special tuna bits. We enjoyed the great atmosphere on a lovely evening during the week. We were lucky to get a seat without reservation! All next to the lovely Ronda bridge!

Friendly staff and nice ambiance, but we were confused how this place was rated a 4.8. We ordered the gazpacho, confit leeks, and tuna taratare. The gazpacho resembled ranch salad dressing and was difficult to finish without bread. The leeks were not easy to chew, not flavored, and buratta was flattened (very strange). The tuna itself was good and potatoes ok, but the avocado tasted bitter (also strange). The overall flavors and presentation did not match the online reputation. We've been to many amazing restaurants in the area, but for these prices, we definitely expected more.
