I was told they didn't taste the same after Don Juanito passed away. I went last week and had a delicious dinner. The only downside was that they didn't have lemons and limited drink options (they didn't have sangria or mineral water), but I bought some at the bakery across the street (4 de Agosto, which, by the way, has the best chocolate donuts in San Luis). But my dinner experience was even better than when I used to go there as a kid with my grandpa, because there were fewer people and it was delicious! I hope they continue to do well so that this culinary icon of San Luis Potosí never closes.

Delicious tripe. I've never had bone marrow tacos before. Highly recommended. Order one or two tortillas and they give you 10! Excellent service 👏

I arrived with very, very low expectations when I saw the place and when my plate of food was served, but once I sat down to try the food, I experienced an incredible flavor unlike anything I'd ever tasted. It was a delight for my taste buds to try something new and so, so delicious. I highly recommend this place. I didn't understand the concept of the place, but once I experienced the flavor, I understood everything. A clear example that we shouldn't always be deceived by appearances.

The restaurant is painted orange with white tiles, and the counters, which double as tables, are made of stainless steel. Tripe tacos and similar dishes are a true Potosí tradition, a must-have for taco lovers. Sometimes they're very crowded and there's little space, so you generally eat standing up. You have to go in the late afternoon or evening because they sell out very quickly.

Personally, I don't recommend them. Not at all... * There's no place to sit; you have to eat standing up or order to go. * The menudo and chicharrón tacos aren't delicious; they're very bland and tasteless. The tripa tacos aren't that bad. * They don't give you limes or salt; they add their own salsa to their liking. Plus, it's so spicy you can't even eat the tacos. * The woman serving the tacos is very rude. * They don't even give you a napkin to clean yourself. For me, it's not worth eating there.
