The food is amazing, the gorditas are well served, the chicharrones are excellent, the carnitas and salsas are perfect for tacos, and the barbacoa is a 10/10. Definitely a good place to go for lunch and also to take home.
I'm almost always a customer on Saturdays, they're good, I thought they also sold barbecue on Saturdays but they told me only on Sundays, let's see when I can try the barbecue

The owner is a real gem; the service is fantastic. The younger staff aren't quite as friendly, but that's understandable. I went because I tried the barbacoa at work; a coworker took us there and shared some. It was delicious. Carnitas aren't really their strong suit, to be honest. I ordered both barbacoa and carnitas. The carnitas were incredibly dry, excessively so. The salsas were 10/10. The consommé was equally excellent. They open at 9:00.
