5 Stars ! @ Starbucks, Market Place, San Ramon, CA Baristas welcome you with a happy greeting of the day! Today, my Barista was Monique! All baristas are friendly. Had Pikes in a Grande mug, Whole grain oatmeal, and a Plain bagel. The Wifi is strong with easy login. Head over anytime of the day, the parking is great (since the CVS and Raley's closed). One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars! I approve this rating, Jay M. 5 month follow-up, September 2025: Wonderful vibe once again as the patrons pick up their mobile order and the Road Warriors stay to sip their beverage and connect to WiFi! For me, I was just having breakfast while listening to the low volume trending music with the Baristas welcoming everyone as they walked in… using their First names! 5 Stars once again
This Starbucks location is somewhat hidden in the back of the shopping center and even though I knew where it’s located, I still drove around a few times to figure out where it is. The good news is the parking is easy and the store is updated and there are plenty of places to sit inside. With the number of people there using computers, it’s obvious this location is perfect for getting some work done. Unfortunately, I live too far away to do work here but that’s just me. I like shopping centers where things are not angular and overly laid out. Give this Starbucks a try if you can find it.
You can not be wrong in Starbucks. Drinks are amazing, and the staff gladly tailor the drink to your taste. They also provided samples of new drink and cake, good to be familiar with additional selections.
I loved this location. It was cozy & they had an option to have my beverage in a glass. Nice touch!
Every Sunday, picking up the large containers of coffee for coworkers is super easy. The staff always have it ready. The coffee is hot and ready to serve. Thank you, Starbucks staff.
This isn't just our local Starbucks, it's also our favorite. The staff is excellent at what they do, and super nice. Their attention to detail means the coffee is always right.
Undoubtedly my FAVORITE Starbucks. All the gals are so sweet!! I always get such excellent service, and well made drinks. Even when the store is slow the staff is keeping busy tidying up and finding things that can be done. They are all so friendly and it’s made all of my coffee runs so pleasant!!
I like the mom and pop feel of this location. It's a cute little building set off by itself in the mall. The parking is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are very busy here but the waits aren't long. Been here twice and if I'm in the area will definitely come here. A good place to work on laptop. Customers are regulars and mellow.
I enjoyed the Matcha! I ate the potato cheese app and was given 2 pieces.
Very popular local hangout for the area throughout the week. Staff is friendly, but they aren't on top of keeping this Starbucks location clean and tidy. By the end of the day the place as used Starbucks paper straw wrappers / paper napkins all of over the floor. Coffee, other beverages, food are just like any other Starbucks. Plenty of free parking within the Marketplace Shooping Center. 2 unisex restrooms, but no diaper changing table in either restroom.
Amazing service and add usual the best cappuccino.. service was amazing.. went to pickup few gift cards, and this is best place for coffee gift cards to your dear ones.. compared to any other coffee shop around in San Ramon. Sad experience today. Cappuccino was very bad. It was very light and very very hot. Not sure why they made it like that.
People here are nice regret tipping though, ordered a venti and got a grande instead, being a non confrontational person I just took the loss and left. The drink was alright

One star for the bad or no internet connection , for someone work from Starbucks daily , this huge , why Starbucks not able to fix the internet issue , this disturbed the customers and bad for the business , see at the picture how it's empty now ,because the internet is not working . Update 5/6/2024: this location needs upgrade for the setting and charging stations , the charging stations not enough for the people working remotely everyday from this location , I work from this location since years and I know everything about it , Starbucks needs to pay back to the people working remotely , as this making this business make profits , so our needs: 1-Charging station for every table 2-Settings upgrade 3-restroom upgrade 4- Drinks/food discount ,membership 5-silent rooms for meetings (by booking )
Unbelievably slow service and their coffee machines were broken. Waited 20 minutes in line with only four customers in front of us. Not a good experience.
They gave the wrong order, they closed city center that was the best one !!
Service at this Starbucks location is consistently terrible, and today, they crossed a line. This has happened multiple times, and despite addressing it with staff, the issue remains unresolved. I have sensitive hands, making it difficult to hold a hot coffee without a sleeve. Every day, I find myself waiting around to get a barista’s attention just for a sleeve. It’s the same familiar faces behind the counter, yet this simple request seems to disrupt their routine. In the past, I’ve tried grabbing a sleeve on my own, only to receive negative reactions from the staff. Today, they did the same to my wife. I placed an order through the app as usual, and she went inside to pick it up. The baristas appeared unoccupied, but no one acknowledged her when she tried to ask for a sleeve. When she finally picked one up herself, a barista snapped, “Next time just ASK.” This kind of attitude is absolutely unacceptable. It’s frustrating to pay premium prices for coffee, repeatedly be asked for tips, and yet receive poor service and no basic amenities like a sleeve for a hot drink (which has burned my hand more than once) without asking. No wonder Starbucks is struggling as a company, with people opting to boycott them over these customer service issues amongst others. I’m particularly disappointed because I’m a regular customer, ordering 1-2 times a day. Starbucks has been one of my biggest recurring expenses, and this is how they treat loyal customers. Perhaps Starbucks should consider training their staff at establishments like In-N-Out, where customer service actually matters. Here’s a constructive suggestion: leave a stack of sleeves near the napkins! I shouldn’t have to risk burning my hands or deal with poor customer service every time I order a coffee. I would rather not engage with your poorly trained staff at all if I didn’t risk hurting my hand.
This location has mega ice! Avoid this location as much as possible if you are looking for iced beverages. We visited this location on February 25. Looking forward to a Venti strawberry açai refresher. Only to be delivered a cup full of the most dense ice possible. The Venti was filled to the rim with nothing but ice delivering only a few quick sips of the tasty treat. I wanted ice I could’ve went over to Trader Joe’s or CVS in the same parking lot been half the money and got 10 times as much ice. Shame on you for investing in ice machines and not your customers!
I used to be a regular. Service has deteriorated dramatically. I was waiting in line for about 10 minutes mostly because the cashier was slow. When my turn came, the cashier was interrupted twice by a colleague of hers who decided she needed to talk while my order was being taken. No excuses whatsoever. When I finally had to pay, I paid with $50 cash for a $7 bill. The cashier was already so distracted that she gave me a change for $20. I had to repead 3 times that I gave 50, not 20. The cashier was looking at me in disbelief. Then her impolite colleague came, took out a $50 bill from under the counter and asked me if these were mine. I said: I gave the cashier 50 dollars, I do not know if this bill is exactly mine! I had to repeat this twice! I was then given the right amount of change, finally. No excuses again! What happened to good tone? What happened to employe training? People come here for the nice atmosphere. I do not think I will anymore enjoy your overpriced products! Starbucls is not fun anymore.
Came here to pick up an UberEats order and was very disappointed. I arrived at 9:35 and didn’t leave with the order until 10. About 6 people that came in after me got there orders before me. I asked 3 times about the order and was dismissed each time. Its not a good feeling to be overlooked like that. Please improve.
