During the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic , the Starbucks in Scarsdsle Village was one of the few places that opened up offering coffee and other treats via a “ take out window”! In the early days of this craziness, it was a welcome sight especially to see some of our favorite baristas still working when so many people had been furloughed. Now, six months into our “ new normal” there store is opened for business and they Ben offer outdoor seating on their terrace and in front of their store. They may have the friendliest staff and the most caring manager, Mark Jessamy , who really makes everyone feel valued and loved.Of course the challenge is trying to enjoy your drink while wearing your masks!

It is a pretty convenient Starbucks, right in the train station. It is very busy most of the time. It does not have a lot of room to sit so it is easier to take on the go. The service is not bad but definitely not the best one out there. I enjoy going there in the mornings during my stay in Scarsdale.

I was in this morning and received the wrong order. After I told the person helping me the order was wrong he argues with me and said that is what I ordered. Then offered to make me the right item. I told him I do not have time and will just take what he made, he then continued to repeat that this IS what I ordered.(what I did order was not even close to what I was given) I normally would not complain about something like this as the beginning of the transaction was lovely but the way he continued to carry on after I accepted the incorrect order was uncalled for.

Indifferent staff to the point it feels like they’re doing you a favor. Maybe staff is underpaid since a tip is somehow expected for doing what staff is hired to do. If that’s the issue for the poor attitude, maybe staff should take it up with Starbucks billionaire boss and not expect paying customer to pay employees.

We walked in and one of the starbucks employees was acting crazy and seemed liked he was under the influence. He was coughing constantly and on everyones food, not aware of his surroundings, playing around, yelling out loud and not doing his job. I was very dissatisfied and i had to leave. The 2 young men were making me feel uncomfortable and making the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. The 2 other lady’s were doing a very good job and attended to our needs. I’m extremely disappointed.

Mediocre as hell. It’s like everybody there is either a new hire, or hates the job they signed up for. Almost every single time I go in, something is wrong with my order. Not to mention my drink is almost never filled to the top like it’s supposed to. Don’t waste your time here, they’ll fail you every time. Find a different Starbucks for your morning caffeine.

I came in five minutes before closing, and I just wanted to get a cookie. As I walked in I heard the employees saying stuff like "are you serious", when they were still open. I get it, it can be annoying but i didn't want anything more than a pre-prepared, not warmed up, cookie to go. I understand it can be annoying, but to make those comments to a customers face, I just hope next time those employees aren't there when I come back, if I come back.

This Starbucks is TRASH and discriminatory. My mom who speaks only a little bit of English ordered a black coffee and asked for a bit of milk on the side so she can control the amount of milk in the coffee. The female employee at the cashier charged my mom an extra 75 cents for the milk. My mom was confused with the extra charge and questioned it. The employee stated that they “sometimes” charge for milk. What is “sometimes”? What kind of Starbucks charges for a bit of regular milk on the side? Not even oat milk or soy milk or any other alternative milks that I understand would be charged extra for. My mom couldn’t argue against the employee because of her limited English and was so upset and felt she was taken advantage of because she couldn’t stand up for herself against this unfairness. I know Starbucks is not supposed to charge for milk on the side; what difference is it to ask for milk in the coffee vs on the side? They don’t charge for milk in the coffee so why would it be charged on the side. It’s not the minuscule extra charge that is the issue here; it’s the PRINCIPLE. My mom felt unwelcomed and mistreated by the employee because of her lack of English proficiency. CLEARLY something is off. This location needs to train its employees better and educate them about treating ALL customers fairly instead of discriminating.
