I have been in Sherman for 3 years. I have frequented McDonald's. Service was okay, food was okay. Now, suddenly, it has changed. I have been approached by a Hispanic girl, a black man and black girl. I am amazed how polite, courteous and helpful they all are, trying to help me out. Something changed, I'm delighted to go there. The food is still McDonald's, Im happy. Pleae commend your employees for treating us so great. New employees? Great hires. I'll be there more often.

We waited 43 something minutes to get our food it was ridiculous. And they did say sorry for the wait they just handed me the food in the bag. My husband ordered a bacon egg / cheese biscuit meal, it didn't have bacon and he ordered coffee and they gave him chocolate.
The man at the counter was very nice and helpful when I brought up my sons happy meal that was wrong. He fixed it and swapped out our fries with fresh ones. However, it is about dang near close to 85 degrees in the play place which is absolutely unacceptable for a kids playground. Apparently this is something that’s been an issue for years. Someone needs to get that fixed ASAP!!!!
Every time I go to this McDonald's off of texoma parkway the iced caramel coffee with extra syrup but all the time they don't do it right this coffee tastes like water this is not the first time is it just me but they do this all the time to me at this location the one on on 1417 and 75 they're really good this iced coffee tastes water-based well it's just my bad experience all the time they always do this all the time but I try to give them the benefit of the doubt we all go through things in life this is my this is my experience today
We arrived as they were switching to lunch. We had to wait 10+ minutes for our mobile order and none of it was fresh..coffee drinks were awful.
No one to man the front. No billboard to choose from. The didn't give a number so you didn't know if order went thru. There were people waiting all over the lobby and it looked like everyone was working on the drive thru. I had to rattle some cages to get help and start things moving. They need help!
We were yelled at by employees and one did not like us telling us to move to a spot instead of where we were. We told the person who brought our food abour us and she said not to yell at her about anything and then turned and fingered us.She said she had a right to do this because we yelled at her and she was fine with fingering us. No respect for customers. Manager was told. Food was completely wrong but we did not go back and tell them this. So wrong.
I will drive past this location to eat somewhere else inside. I'm giving this location a 2 mainly because going inside and trying to place your own order on a kiosk machine to me is very frustrating. Especially, if you want to pay cash you still have to go to the counter and give them your ticket and the cash where they could have taken your order to begin with. This was absolutely ridiculous. The line at the self order had multiple people trying to place the order and getting extremely frustrated trying to figure out the system with little to no help. The inside area where you sit down had multiple dirty tables that were not being cleaned and maintained, yet they were very few people inside sitting down yet. They were all trying to figure out how to place an order so they could eat. Next time I will just go through the drive-thru order my food, pay for it, and then go inside and sit down to eat; of course after I wiped down and cleaned my own table. Our society is getting so un customer friendly you pretty much hate going anywhere to shop or eat anymore.

Never eating here again. They have a lot of issues with men's bathroom and have it closed a lot. Today they have the entrance door blocked off. Done with y'all...also you took out the drink station. Have eaten here at least once a week for the last couple of years but I am done. Y'all suck.
They refuse to utilize their pick up shelf, yet the instructions for pick up say to get your order from the shelf. My food was being held behind the counter for an unknown amount of time. By the time I received my order it was cold, soggy, and my drink was watered down. I stood at the counter to ask how much longer until my order would be ready (I assumed if it was done it would be on the shelf) and I was completely ignored for several minutes.
Missing items in the drive-through then you go inside and they act like you’re invisible. Nobody on front stood there for 5 to 10 minutes.
The service here is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. They got my order wrong twice somehow, even after I showed them the receipt. How does that even happen?!
Food was cold, waited 20 minutes because they were too busy to worry about curbside orders. If you wait so long for food it should at least be fresh. How long does the burger have to sit there to be hard as a rock because I know it certainly wasn’t fresh food. Would not recommend this location to anyone, unless you want the worst experience with rude employees, cold food that was taken out of a dumpster. When you pay for an order it should not be scraped out of the garbage can and into a bag. Should not have to ask for a drink to be filled. Half full is not a full drink. Worst experience I have ever had
I have visited the McDonald’s in Sherman several times, and almost every visit has resulted in mistakes or long wait times. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was the worst so far and will be my last. I ordered a large Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal with an iced tea, but instead I received a Double Quarter Pounder with everything on it, a medium meal, and a Hi-C. To make matters worse, the burger was undercooked and had to be thrown away. My fries also tasted old, and the customer service was not good. This has been a repeated issue at this location, and it’s disappointing that even simple orders continue to be wrong. I hope the store can address these problems for future customers.
Ordered my food online like I normally always do and when I got to the window I got my food and drink and when I got my drink it was a light color, it looked like cream soda but it was supposed to be Dr. Pepper. This has happened to me before so I got the window persons attention and asked to switch it and she didnt hear me so I raised my voice a little so she could hear me and I guess that pissed her off so she gave me an additude and slammed the window shut, I saw her talk to who I think was the manager and I guess he told her that the mashine wasnt working or something because she opened the window and changed her whole mood when talking to me, I did end up getting my drink switched but when she gave me everything she got that additude look on her face and she slammed the window again. I dont know what her problem was, I just wanted a good drink after work.
Tell me why I report that there is human feces in the bathroom and they completely and utterly ignore me My daughter is a cancer patient and I couldn't even take her in that bathroom with how nasty it was and they did not seem to care at all about the conditions of their bathroom because they were so busy and I know by state health law they should have stopped what they were doing at least one person to go clean that bathroom and then not take a half hour and me make a scene in front of everybody to get them to go clean that bathroom for the health and safety of others. The African manager with the afro and the purple shirt was completely and utterly oblivious to the situation for a good half an hour when that should have been an immediate situation to get handled due to the health of the public I had to get somebody who knows the owner to help me out with that situation it is obvious it is sat there for a few hours The feces appeared to be dry and somebody else had let me know about three other people let me know that they had already made it known to management and nothing had been done and they were already there for a good 25-30 minutes before I got there so please do expect a call to the health board. Date of incident is August 16th between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. praying higher up see this review because the way the manager handled the situation and completely disregarded me and so did her staff should be embarrassing to the company and especially to the owner of this franchise
I placed an order through the mobile app for curbside pickup and arrived at the restaurant. When I selected my spot, the app glitched and sent my order without the spot number. No big deal, so the app tells me to go inside and tell someone at the counter what happened. I go in to an empty counter and a lady going back and forth front of house back of house. As customers walk in and approach the counter, even though I’m clearly standing there waiting, the lady doesn’t even acknowledge me and instead turns to greet the customers. I point out that I’ve been standing and waiting for help and I’m told I need to be in the order line not the pick up line. Uh… what? The lady who is working up front rudely says “yeah I’m working on it”, proceeds to help everyone else then try to tell me I maybe sent the order to the wrong restaurant because she couldn’t find it. I then had to slowly explain to her what happened, which I tried to do initially, before she rudely dismissed me in front of other customers. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE MCDONALDS.
Zac is the only employee I can say from experience who enjoys this job and is attentive and professional. I hope he is on his way to upper management because he lives the culture of customer service. As for the crew in the back, what is so hard about making an iced coffee that isn't essentially a glass of iced milk? Get it right already or take it off the menu. I waited at the counter while workers wandered by avoiding eye contact. I was never greeted. I called the store phone and saw it was unattended by the pickup counter, just ringing and ringing, there was no answer. Look to the back, and the managers are all standing about yapping in the windowed office.
Today, we visited the McDonald's on Texoma Drive in Sherman and placed our order through the mobile app. After pulling into the drive-thru, we were directed to the second window where we received our drinks. We waited there for about five minutes before being told to move to the next window for the remainder of our order. Once we moved forward, we waited patiently—while car after car behind us was served and drove off. After an additional ten minutes, with small children growing restless, I attempted to get someone's attention. Waving didn’t help, so when an employee passed by, I called out, “Excuse me, how long do we have to wait for our order?” Unfortunately, instead of being met with understanding, the employee, Kris, responded with defensiveness and rudeness, accusing me of yelling at her. I explained that I wasn’t yelling, simply trying to get help after waiting over 15 minutes. She then said she’d get the manager. When the manager, Lanese (spelling may be off), came to the window, we explained the long wait and Kris’s attitude. Instead of listening with empathy or offering a solution, she responded with, “How so?”—dismissing our concerns and showing no willingness to de-escalate or apologize. Her tone was combative, and it felt like she was more interested in defending her employee than resolving the issue. To make matters worse, she then handed us the wrong order. After we returned it, she double-checked it as if we were lying. Only after we mentioned contacting corporate and leaving a review did she bring us the correct food, along with a couple of pies and a delayed apology. The main issue here wasn’t even the wait—it was the poor treatment and complete lack of professionalism and respect. The manager’s response should have been simple: “I’m so sorry for the wait and for how you were treated. I’ll address it and make this right.” Instead, we were met with hostility and condescension. Having worked in fast food as a manager, I understand how stressful it can be, but treating customers with respect should never be optional. Kris came off as someone who has no interest in customer service, and Lanese’s handling of the situation only made things worse. We hope upper management takes note. This store needs leadership that values customers and upholds basic.
It takes forever for staff to come to the counter to assist customer or dashers. I've seen them try to refuse to give orders to dashers, and as a customer, have had to wait more than 20 minutes to get someone to come to the counter. Employees see us there, smile, and just go about doing something else. Last visit had some sort of liquid all over the counter that was not being cleaned up. More than once I had to avoid slipping on the floor. The managers have been especially rude to dasher and customers alike. Highly DO NOT recommend this place.
I came In to this store approximately 4:15 this morning and ordered a muffin with egg and cheese and an apple pie. I was hesitant in buying the pie because it is always old . Lo and behold I got my muffin with eggs and cheese muffin not toasted enough and lord the apple pie was HARD as a ROCK . Jesus take the wheel. Old apple pie from the overnight shift that was not thrown away. With no Sticker that tells When it expires I should have not expected it to be fresh . On top of that the pies are more expensive now and I could not even eat it. Morning manager and Night manager needs to be responsible in checking the food doing food safety as well so this BS won’t keep Happening to me or any other customer. I will not even attempt again to buy pies
