La verdad que la carne estupenda, pedimos Lombo entre otras. Unas croquetillas y buñuelos de bacalao, así como un puré con trufa.

Encontramos el restaurante porque estábamos por la zona, fuimos sin reserva y nos atendieron. El local es muy acogedor y el servicio muy amable. Sin duda el que más nos gustó de nuestro recorrido en la isla. Calidad precio buenísima! Tienes comida con gran sabor a precios muy COMPETENTES. Nos quedamos muy contentos tras comer allí. Excelente! Nos trataron muy bien, recomendando las mejores carnes según gustos. El camarero fue muy amable con nosotros y la carne estaba genial. La sopa del día y el vino de la casa fueron geniales. Disfruten!

Buena elección para comer en la isla de Sao Miguel. El camarero nos recomendó el bacalao a la brasa que estaba espectacular. También probado el rissoto de setas, muy buen con mucho sabor y la carne nos decidimos por la Vazia, que venía con patatas (caseras) y dos salsas diferentes. De postres mousse de chocolate y panna cotta.

Lives up to its reputation for excellent steak. Shared a T-bone with truffle mashed potatoes and everything was prepared to perfection. We have been to some of the best steakhouses in NYC and Casa do Abel is right there! The serving team was friendly and efficient. Very attentive but not hovering. At this restaurant, I had the best beef I tasted in São Miguel. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was professional and friendly, and the atmosphere was very great. Everything was just perfect. P.S. Make sure to make a reservation (maybe one - 2 days in advance), or else it’s almost impossible to get a table on the spot!

We passed by after a day of hiking and we were lucky enough to get a table just before the kitchen closed. Amazing food, we took some starters to share and had the rump skirt steak after, with some side dishes. The meat is definitely recommended and so was the broccoli with almonds. If you know when you want to go it might be better to reserve in advance. Very friendly staff and quick service. We loved it.

The steaks are unbelievably good and the charming atmosphere makes it a perfect experience of good food. The cauliflower was so delicious made with garlic and sauce that it appears out of this world !!! Perfect all in all and a must to go here !!!

Great restaurant with a focus on high-quality meats. The food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. It's also a nice atmosphere and interesting interior design. Huge wine selection also! Make sure to call in advance to make a reservation, even in low season. We were here in mid-January and quite a few people had to be turned down at dinner time (in mid-January). 5/5 can recommend!

This place was amazing! We found it on google maps and went because we saw how amazing the steak looked and wow, they did not disappoint! The steak was so tender and cooked perfectly. The chocolate mousse and coffee were also amazing! We went around 6pm on a weekday without a reservation so they were able to take us in, but I do recommend making a reservation if you don’t want to wait. By the time we left there were many people waiting for a table. If we had more time in here I would’ve come again!

The best ribeye steak I tried in the whole island and one of ny favourites ever! The service speaks english perfectly and were so professional. We meat was well cooked in the grill and very tasty! Its true the chicken salad was just a 5/10. I really recommend to go there if you like meat!

Llamé el mismo día por la mañana y me contestaron a la primera y me dieron la reserva sin ningún problema. Las camareras son antipáticas excepto Beatriz que es muy amable. Me decepcionó un poco que no tenían muchas cosas de la carta y nos tuvimos que adaptar a la hora de pedir. La relación calidad precio muy buena. Nosotros pedimos media tabla de quesos con embutido y de carne T-bone con patatas. La carne muy buena.

Buen restaurante, pero nos esperábamos algo más. La calidad de las carnes es buena, pero tras haber probado varios sitios en la isla, se queda corto comparándolo con otros restaurantes. Precio elevado para las raciones que son bastante justas. Aún y así la comida estaba bastante bien y el servicio del personal fue muy correcto.

I've visiting four Portuguese islands with my husband, and this was the rudest restaurant I've ever been to • I made a reservation the day before, but before I even ordered, she told me they couldn't serve more than four dishes. • Despite the extensive wine list, she seemed annoyed and only made recommendations, seemingly insincere. • When I paid, she didn't even ask how the food was. She were cold and unresponsive, and only handed me the receipt. Even though the price is good and the food is delicious, I would never go back! Went here twice! Great beef! Have to know your cuts so you can order what you know you like! First time got flank the second shared t-bone. First time we went service was good staff was a tad standoffish. Second time staff was friendlier but still not the warmest- very quick service with clearing tables and refilling drinks. Meat was amazing, tried truffle mashed potatoes, potato wedges, glazed carrots and pineapple rice. Tried garlic bread and fresh bread with butter compote and olive pâté which was good. Over all good food, the best part was the meat- seasoned well and cooked to perfection! The sides were good but the meat is the clear star! Also tried the chocolate moose- was good!

I’m honestly a bit confused about how I feel after our visit. Overall, it was an okay experience, but nothing special. I ordered the sirloin steak, and unfortunately, the meat was really chewy, not a good cut at all. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she didn’t say anything, just walked away, and never followed up, not even when we were paying. She looked like she really didn’t want to be there, which made the whole experience feel uncomfortable. On the positive side, the sauce that came with the steak was excellent. The potatoes were pretty average, but the homemade lemonade with lemon was amazing! I liked it so much I ordered it twice. My partner had the tenderloin steak sandwich and really enjoyed it. The meat was high quality and cooked perfectly. We also shared a chocolate mousse for dessert, which was delicious. Overall, though, the poor service and the quality of my steak brought the experience down. I’d have to rate it lower than I’d like because of that.

Fuimos por las grandes valoraciones y fué el peor de los restaurantes donde pudimos estar en la isla. Pedimos una carne madurada de wagyu, o sea un tope de gama, pero su cocinado fue espantoso: la pedí cruda y la sacaron hecha, y con restos de carne quemada de la misma plancha (que no hay carbón en este local?), si digo que además la acompañan con dos salsas para que tu puedas autoservirte (una de carne y una de pimienta) ya se evidencia que no confían en la calidad del mismo producto o de su cocinado, un verdadero maltrato a la carne!!!; tampoco acompañaron ni la selección de quesos (muy básica) que iba acompañada con jamón (pero sacaron salami), un risoto aceitoso, y un puré de trufa que no tenía gracia ninguna.
