I don't come here very often but the times I had passed through the Drivethru has been a very pleasant time staring with a great costumer services and delicious hot food. I am definitely coming back Thank you Jack crew for the Awesome xperience.

Considering this is 1 out of the only 2 places available to eat after midnight(or 2a.m.) in Thousand Oaks. I'd say they have a better & wider selection, the food is served hot*extremely, the customer service is nice & engaging, plus they have tacos- 2 for 99¢!

The Jumbo Jack is one of the best cheeseburgers you can buy. I think it's fresher and more flavourful than any drive through including in and out. The lettuce and tomatoes are better.

This is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Ventura County! You will never find a better Tamale anywhere else and, they have them year round! Everything at this restaurant is excellent!

Ivan and Angela are amazing, very accommodating and friendly, Food is good,but sometimes They messed up the orders, I will definitely keep coming back and gave it 5 stars because of the service provided by Ivan and Angela.

Depends on who's at the drive through window. I would definitely recommend asking for a receipt; I'm usually not offered one, and I've had an item in my order forgotten in the past

Never got anything that made me sick and great service, especially when dining in er say since they don't have a great great amount of seating but at at the same time what's all manageable.

Abby is absolutely amazing. Hard working, kind, and has amazing manners. Please give her a raise as she was resilient and fantastic. As a customer it's amazing seeing that type of behavior, working is hard especially with how rude people can be. I requested three sweet and sours with my three-piece egg rolls and this is the only Jack in the box I've ever been to where they charge you for the third or more sauce. I had to repeat my order five times face to face. What's up with this Jack in the box in thousand oaks.

The guy at the drive thru was the best. Nailed my order and even gave me a few pointers on how to order fast food. It was a nice change to see someone who was happy to have a job and did his job STELLAR. Food is still Jack in the Box but he made it enjoyable to drive thru. Keep it up man.

Cashier tonight was awesome. Super freindly and genuine. Around 10 pm on Oct 15th, Guy with glasses incase your his boss so you can check the schedule and give that guy a fat raise. Peace.

I'll give my full review now. it was Saturday night after a family member's wedding and coming back from the after party there was a ton of hungy people. the night shift team (including manager) were beyond accommodating. they were super busy but still managed to get my $438 order exactly as ordered. food was great and service went above and beyond. although not a local resident, I know where to go if I am ever back in town.

I am guilty!! Yes! Today I was one of those lost customers going back and forth between combos undecided. Thats when Marta had the patience of a saint and with a smile in her face told me that everything was ok for me to be all over the place. After, Venice took my order very kindly and Julian took my meal to the table. Finally, the food is great!! I order a Butter Jack, and you will never go wrong with it... the fries were delicious!!! Thank you guys for making an ordinary meal, such a pleasant experience.

The new Garlic Parm chicken wings are really delicious. They're probably for a limited time only, but I hope they become a regular menu item. Also, the tacos are way better than any fast food tacos

I was pleasantly surprised that their Loaded Breakfast Sandwich is made after you order it (WHAT! 😜) and SO good, and did I mention how good it was? 🤗

Bathrooms are closed as is inside service. Drive through is quick and clean. Restuarant is difficult to get to, especially while headed toward the 101

Decent fast food, smaller portions than comparable places, as pricey or higher than others. An order of onion rings will get you half a dozen rings of no great size for top dollar. Carl's Jr is better value with better offers.

It is a universal constant that every Jack in the Box on the planet is tied for the title of The World's Saddest Jack in the Box. This location is no exception. Upon entering the restaurant, you are consumed with despair and regret, as is tradition. However, in a town where virtually every restaurant is closed at a somewhat respectable hour, this establishment provides the critical public service of selling breakfast-like items 24 hours of the day. This alone makes The Jack in the Box on Moorpark Road the veritable bedrock on which the stability of Thousand Oaks precariously rests. I commend the employees of this restaurant for their unfaltering commitment to the preservation of our great community. The only reason I do not give this place five stars is because I need to take an extra Prozac any time I remember it exists.

Always enjoy their crunchy tacos, curly fries & soda fountain avail to customers w/ literally over fifty choices of flavors. Free refills, yeah. Now, if only the kid's meals came w/ a toy/surprise/etc. Kinda disappoints my daughter when she opens her bag.

You know that I don't eat fast food too often. Another good friend treated me to lunch, and the pita always hits the spot. Add some jalapenos or maybe ketchup. This 🏌 is the feeling I get. Jack in the Box has a versatile menu and this restaurant is clean with a friendly staff. Come in anytime. If I see you there, I will buy you a pita and share my french fries.

This location is convenient because it is on a busy Street. It is accessible going one way on Moorpark Road but not the other way. It has a good drive-thru and I rarely dine in there.

The food is always good and made to order, and they have one of those new drink fountains with all the flavors and such. But some of the staff are kinda slow.

I park. No one there. I eat. When I come out there are three more cars outside. I would park at least one employee car out front to let people know you are open. They seem to be drawn by vehicles. I like the meat lovers breakfast burrito. Prices are a bit high. Jack does have the best onion rings, scored above all other fast food joints.

So I came in when they hired a new cashier and it was complete Kaos! Got home order was still not right and had to go back and explain i got someone else hamburger! They fix the problem and gave me free milk shakes. Just some advice don't get upset with staff! Stuff happens and if you treat them with kindness and respect! They will not only fix the problem but might give you a little extra for the trouble.

Nice place food was still hot when i got it ..had a cashier a petite slender woman dressed in dark blue outfit with glasses was very friendly recommended me a few items she was very knowledgeable I think she was a manager ? She not only helped me but I saw her help on the line with orders and saw her directing the other employees ..thats !! .. A manager or lead who takes pride in her job and is not afraid to jump in and help .. unlike at other lack n box ..I've seem ..I will definitely go back food and service was great and they have 3 bathrooms ..one is particularly narrow and long I'm puzzled by that ?? Still a good place ..

A friend and I decided to stop by Jack and the Box📦. I suggested that we could eat,chat and relax instead of waiting for the long line at the drive thru. When we parked, stepped in there where three tables occupied with customers. This location has been here since 2018... since I would stop in for an order. I ordered curly fries and Jalapeno Popper's and he two breakfast sandwiches. After he paid..I needed to make a trip to the restroom 🚽💦. The doors are locked and when I stepped in first. What a smell...😂😂. The manager should keep the public toilets clean,, after washing my hands. I went to sit down at the table and stools. My friend grabbed our order from the cashier and we preceded to eat away. The fries were delicious and not over cooked. The Jalapeno Popper's we're slightly cold. Not hot to the touch.. I included some pictures... normally Jack and the Boxes are just a meal for people on the go. As well as people who are short on time for a sit down meal. I recommend the curly fries... "!

Good service but sometimes the staff always get my order wrong. I asked for curly fries and they gave me french fries. I said no cheese, ended getting my burger with cheese.

It's jack in the boxz you know what you're here for. This one has reasonably good service and food is usually good. Never had a wrong order here.

Service was slow for the restaurant and drive thru to not be busy but at least food was hot. I just hate that by the time I got my food my lunch break was nearly over.

Location closes earlier than posted times when staff feels inclined. Items are missing from orders pretty frequently.

6-22-19 Always get the chicken tenders with regular fries but lately the fries have been too salty. We HAVE TO SCRATCH OF THE SALT!!!

You know Jack is convenient food, it's what's expected. I try and go the healthier way and always order the chicken fajita pita or a salad. The speciality burgers are good too!

Normally this place is ok. Today I wanted to change things up a bit and sub out the normal crispy chicken patty for a spicy one. Well apparently that's an extra $2.99. I'm glad I had a coupon, it basically ended up being a wash. There was a decent line of cars in the drive through, but it seemed to take much longer than was warranted. This used to be our end of the night place, but since COVID hit I guess something changed and the place took a dive. Too bad... Guess I'll just start going to the new location off the Wendy drive exit. Could be the same owner, I dunno, but at least they seem to have it together over there.

Just recently found out that this jack in the box accepts EBT. Only by ordering your food inside. I ordered some fries and an order of onion rings. The reason for only 3 stars is because my onion rings were a little burnt, but still tasted good. I'm going to be going back to see if the onion rings are better this time and I'll be updating my review.

The Cluck sandwich was one of the worst chicken sandwiches I've tried to date. For $7, you expect something decent. The chicken breading was hard and over cooked. The bun was cheap. Most dollar menu sandwiches are better. I dont know if it was the location or Jack in the box. I definitely won't be trying it again somewhere else. Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, and KFC definitely taste better than this.

The food was not as good as it has been in the past. I ordered the potato wedges...the bacon was completely raw. I couldn't eat it.

The cashier that helped my had no customer service and was extremely rude. The manager wasn’t any better. She kept insisting she gave me my receipt but she just walked away and ignored me. Horrible experience and a lack of hospitality.

My wife bought a breakfast to go , including 2 small decaf . We’re disappointed coz the coffee doesn’t taste like one.,It tasted like boiled water 😖! But the food were fine.

Yep they got my order wrong. Order the Jumbo Jack with cheese no mayonnaise got it with no cheese and lots of mayonnaise. Ordered two tacos ask for taco sauce got ketchup. Of course by the time I get back to work and noticed it's not worth going back and fighting traffic.

Jack in the Box always sucks and makes me feel greasy after eating. My order is only right 1/2 the time. But that's what makes it JITB. You either love it or hate it.

Adequate, but not my first choice. The service was somewhat slow and the restaurant seemed a bit dirty or run down. Overall, the food was about what you'd expect for a fast food chain. It certainly wasn't bad, but helps to put into perspective why these places don't exist in as many places as they used to.

I posted a review here before stating 3 stars, but recently I have had to move it down one due to an event that left me perturbed. I come here often and it is quite a solid mediocre fast food outlet where you can get the exclusive two taco deal. I headed here feeling like it was a safe bet, but sadly I was mistaken. I went to order the two tacos and drink which is my usual, I got my drink and headed to my seat. A few seconds later I get my number called thinking that it was quite quick and was happy, but that quickly changed when I bit into the taco it was extremely hard and felt like it had been under the heat lamp for way too long. To top it off when I went to refill my drink I saw a stringy substance bouncing out of the spout, I take a napkin pull it out and what I saw could only be known as a mold. I was concerned and told a team member who took the napkin looked at it went and wiped down the machine and resumed work all within a few minutes. I was somewhat appalled and have been left with the decision that I have quit drinking soda. Doubt I will be coming here in future sadly, I enjoyed the convenience of this location, but can not continue being a customer. I would recommend going to the Newbury Park one instead.

Food is alright, but they always get my order wrong. I don’t go there often, but sometimes I get some quick food after work and they’ve gotten my order wrong everytime. I’ve went back once, and they offered to remake the order which was nice of them, but getting the order wrong every time is absurd. Definitely needs training for quality control or something.

My friend Matt ordered the Chorizo Fries. It was by far the most graphic thing I've ever witnessed being eaten, and I once watched a hawk nose dive a pigeon, breaking it's neck and then devouring it on my driveway. They’re supposed to be open 24 hrs I went at 3:00 am and nobody was there. I wasted my lunch time. I went back to work and call them and they answer. What a good service. So disappointed ☹️ 😡

They don't support the DODGERS. 5 times I have tried to get the Dodger deal and each time I have to prove to them the number of strikeouts made. This time they just said they don't do the deal. If you support the DODGERS consider going somewhere else.

Literally ordered my food, didn't get a receipt by the way, but they forgot a jr bacon cheeseburger from my order, so after getting home and realizing it, I drive back, tell the "guy in charge" that they forgot my cheeseburger, so the guy starts taking the next customer behind me order and then hands me a large drink cup to replace my missing burger. The cheeseburger was for my god child whom I am having stay at my house for a couple of days, I can't feed him a large fountain drink... I love Jack in the Box and tonight literally changed ALL OF THAT!!

I only order 1 thing when im there... BACON breakfast jack. I always get ham. Ive called and spoken to the manager and told me to go back. To make this quick, i left the second time with sausage. How stupid do you gotta be to mess it up TWICE! im never going back there and ill make sure my friends are notified as well because same issues happen to them.

Rude and impatient! My boyfriend and I went to the 24hr Jack In The Box in Thousand Oaks (484 North Moorpark Road) Since there was two of us, he was relaying that I wanted to the Drive Thru server, meaning there was a few second delay between her questions and our answers. She was very impatient and short with us. It was NOT appreciated, so we left and went to Carl's Jr where they are much nicer.

Went through the drive thru and I couldn't understand the person through the talk box spoke broken English got my order wrong when I arrived to the window and was given my food I looked in the bag and saw my order was wrong brought it to the workers attention and she expressed frustration twords me and made me feel like a bother i then tried explaining to her what I had originally ordered and still got it wrong by then it took up way to much of my lunch break I then just took what I was given and said thank you and drove away if there's anything more unsatisfying is not getting what you pay and ask for 😔

First of all this place has forgotten multiple items over the years I’ve been coming here, but it’s a fast Job and accidents happen. I’ve never complained and have always came back. However, Yesterday on 2/20 at exactly noon I was in the drive through and sat there long enough for an entire line to accumulate behind me, no one greeted me at the box or responded when I tried to speak for several minutes so I thought the speaker box was broken. I proceeded to pull up to the window due to no one acknowledging me for several minutes and asked if I could please order at the window and the small, older Hispanic lady with Grey hair just slammed the window and walked away. Super rude, really unprofessional, she didn’t say one word so I left and will not be returning.

I assume you're a bot replying but, let me take it for granted that this comment was from an actual real person (owner), I gave you enough feedback and I see others having the same problems. Understood the staff is tired and unmotivated late at night but treating customers like they are vultures trying to salvage food for the day is not good. The guys drive through windows hands over food and close the window right away.

Every table was dirty and needed to be wiped down. There was only one other customer there. Waited 5 minutes for the restroom to open before I figured out you need a key. A sign would have been helpful. The restroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. Employees acted annoyed when I informed them of the condition of the restroom and asked for paper towels to dry my hands. It was a really gross experience. If that level of apathy is given to the public areas, I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen. I will not be back to this location.

Came though drive thru ordered the 3 taco combo. Received 3 piece c spicy strips combo with churros. I couldn’t go back since I only get a 30 minute lunch. I’m not a fan of the chicken strips that’s why I never order them so I was very disappointed.

Very Rude and Very Disappointing! Staff at the drive through don't know how to adjust the order. Manager was there and didn't do anything and was just looking at her worker who was needing help. Then I had to get out if my car and go inside so I don't have to ruin there speed. The manager said "I can't accept your coupon" just because it wasn't from her store but it was a Jack In The Box Coupon. She had a terrible attitude. They kept my credit card and I had to ask 2 times for them to give it back! I am very disappointed in this place!!!

They were SO rude. I was the 1st car in the drive through. I ordered, checked the screen, and when I verified it was correct, went to the window to pay. They asked me to pull forward to the parking lot, and they'd bring me my food. 🙄 That's so annoying. Whatever happened to 1st come, 1st served?! After over 10 minutes, my food was brought out. Like in 7 different bags. I began to check, and noticed that some of the food was wrong, I grabbed that food, and went in to the counter. No one approached me until the cashier was done taking an order, although a manager watched me walk up. I pointed out the food that was wrong, and they went to fix it. I went back out to my car and began checking numerous other bags. I found 2 more items that were wrong. I grabbed a bag, and went back into the restaurant. Again, they ignored my approach. I realized I'd left another item that was wrong in my car, so I verbally said, "I have to go get the kids cheeseburger that's wrong. It's a plain kids cheeseburger." I went to retrieve the bag. Apparently they didn't take my word for it, because they didn't start making the new kids burger until I brought in the messed up one. They were rude. I mentioned that all my other food was getting cold, but they didn't care. They didn't so much offer an apology. I got home and realized they'd forgotten 1 of the kids beverages. All of our fries were cold, and gross. I noticed they didn't give a receipt, so I couldn't even do an online survey, and have the information from my receipt to provide. Needless to say, we won't be back. I don't know what's so difficult with the word PLAIN, but they don't understand that word. A plain cheeseburger to them means lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and whatever else they put on. Plain to my family means meat, cheese, and a bun. So, if you like PLAIN, make sure you check your items before you leave. Many friends have had the same experience at this location. It's not convenient to access, and the employees are rude. That's probably why they have "now hiring" signs up.

They made our Monster Cookie Shakes entirely wrong, and they tasted gross, too. We had to wait a VERY long time for the staff to completely ignore or pretend to ignore us. I asked that they just make them Oreo shakes instead. Those were made with very little Oreos inside, and I wasn't given any refund for the price difference.

DO NOT go inside in the mornings, their priority is only drive through. I work in area and (use to) often go, and I’m made to wait often, today over 5 min and didn’t have the courtesy to even acknowledge I was staging there, took and packaged two drive through orders all while I was waiting at the register to place my order.

The hours posted said it closes at 2am. I was pulling up but a car cut across 2 lanes and almost hit me. He pulls in at the same time as me and we pull in at the same time. He takes 5 minutes to order and when it came to my turn to order. They said they close 10 minutes early to clean up. I told they should post that so I don't waste my time. If you got to the store and you're in there before they close. They ask you to bring your purchases to the front for check out. Not we have to close the registers and don't give you proper customer service!!!!
