We drive 20 minutes to come to this McDonald's for a couple of reasons. 1. The McDonald's Play Place, ( very accommodating for young families). 2. The oldies music played on the radio in the Play Place. 3. The employees are very nice. 4. The small family bathroom in the Play Place has a changing table.

When I am in the area.. I usually frequent this location.. There are a few McDonald's that I like in different cities..due to the Food preparation and swift service. I had my personal driver take me there this morning... I needed coffee ☕.., just a few days prior.. My friend ordered me one .. I really prefer McDonald's coffee over Starbucks. This brand has a weird toxic euphoria... I swear I feel like I am buzzed for some reason 😳.. This happened to me in 2015. I full stopped drinking McDonald's coffee due to the euphoria feeling,., (Caffeine) . Lately I have been having sleeping issues..due to stress and working on scripts. So I said why not... "?? This is my second cup In a row to the drive in.. Anyway.. don't know what they are dropping in this coffee 😭🥳"? On my first trip I also ordered hash browns ... I have no complaints.. ☕. .. THIS flavor is just too STRONG for my needs.. 🤣😆"!. I recommend this for Truck drivers, Doctors and Nurses.

The cashiers are young, friendly, and helpful. I just ordered a chicken sandwich from the dollar menu and someone still delivered it to my table -- with a smile! The restaurant is spacious. It even has a playroom for babies and kids. The restroom is clean. I like to sit and eat here.

Well, any chance my kids have to ask to go to McDonald's...they do! No school today, just hanging out with Mama and it seemed like a great idea. We enjoyed hamburger happy meals and a chocolate shake. Made for a great day.

McDonald's in general is three stars... Because they don't really care about the food, but it's there when you need some. In the McDonald's philosophy, it doesn't have to be good, it just has to taste exactly the same at every single McDonald's in the world. The five stars is for this particular McDonald's restaurant. Stopped by this McDonald’s late tonight with my teenager for a quick bite and I was genuinely impressed. Even though they seemed understaffed the two employees working, a younger gentleman and a Hispanic woman, handled everything flawlessly. You could tell they were juggling a lot but they never showed any stress. Both were friendly, patient, and delivered great customer service with a smile. Truly appreciated their professionalism and positive attitude during a busy night.

Unsure if this McDonald's been remodeled recently. However, it has one of the nicer appearances inside. Plus an indoor playground for the lil' ones.

I swing by the drive thru here more often than I probably should, and the service is always quick, but the quality of food that comes out is somewhat inconsistent. Overall, it's about what you'd expect from a McDonalds, when they get your order right.

One of the few McDonald's in the area with a kids play area. We sometimes go on the mornings for breakfast and let the kids run around when we're in the TO area. It does get really crowded with kids sometimes and not all parents supervise their kids, especially the older kids that run around and aren't too careful with the small kids.

It's ok. My wife likes it because they still have the chicken wraps and I dont have any complaints. I'm not a big fast food guy.

This MCD has a good seating area, good to sit and chill while eat. Prices for breakfast higher these days, look for the 2 for $5 McMuffin deal, and get a $1 drink. Self service kiosk credit card machine don't work, big pain, that's why 4 stars...

What can I say. It’s McDonalds. Really would have a hard time finding one that deserved an actual 5 stars. But as far as McDonalds go, this one is just alright. Service is fast, food is standard, and it’s never really that busy. I would have to recommend the Fanta Slushy. It’s really that good. Getting a Big Mac From here once in a while isn’t so bad.

Employees don't bring your food to the table like they are supposed to. They call your number and you have to go get it. The sign says "We will bring your order to your table". I had to ask to have the table cleaned my family and I were made to stand and wait several minutes for them to clean one. It's bad enough we have to order from a kiosk or the app. I miss old-fashioned customer service.

Hey Yo, keeping my head above water. Like most of you. First time back in the neighborhood after last year's tragic loss. A good friend said, "McDonald's, just eat it Sheila!" So tremendously located in a prime spot of Thousand Oaks on Moorpark Rd. Across the street from St. Paschal's of Baylon at Janss Rd. sits a pair of those golden arches. Always in good form, the friendly staff is awaiting your arrival. Although you may not be able to dine inside or use the facilities, you are welcome to step inside, place your order and dine at the tables outside. Fries are still the best. Kudos to McDonald's for being an essential as we intro to our new way of living. Love Always.

I work with DoorDash and I know there are a lot of customers that say this McDonald's gets the order wrong. Unfortunately DoorDash doesn't let us double check to make sure the food order is correct. Every time I double check with the employees and ask/make sure order is correct. They just say "yeah/ok". I don't think the employees care if the order is correct or not. I'd be upset if I paid a lot to have my food delivered and then finding out my order is wrong.

I've recently been having terrible experiences here. I used to work at this exact location as well as 2 other McDonald's locations so I know that it's one of the easiest jobs out there. Any chimpanzee with some non-slip shoes could excel working at a place like this. But THIS PLACE KEEPS MESSING UP MY ORDERS. I've actually received free combo coupons in the mail because I called and complained twice in 3 days. Granted, there are still some good employees. But their work is overshadowed by the mistakes of employees who can't seem to do basic things.

My son ordered chicken mcnugget happy meal. They gave him one sweet and sour pack. He ate some and wanted more sauce. I encouraged him to go ask for himself. They told him it was 25 cents more. When did they start being so cheap to the customer? Ridiculous. Petty. The food was good for fast food. But, really?

The Drive-thru Workers do not listen when you're ordering your food a specific way. So when you have to take your food back. Because it's cold or not freshly made. They look at you like it's your fault. And for them to tell a customer. That's why you're supposed to look at the screen. When you order your food to make sure everything is right is absolutely ridiculous. They are the ones taking the order. I can barely see the Screen, especially at night. Workers are rude and do not listen to instructions.

We have been there this morning as a drive through customers...lack of nice communication cold coffee and not so fresh apple and strawberry pies were the weak point of this experience that turns us off...I hope they'll improve it...🌹🙏🇺🇸

The food at this McDonald's is fine—consistent with what you'd expect. But the customer service, especially at the drive-thru, is terrible. The workers are incredibly rude and barely speak clearly enough to understand. You can tell they don’t want to be there, and it shows in how they treat customers. I’ve also had orders that were supposed to be brought to my table, and instead, they just left them sitting on the counter. No callout, no effort. It’s unprofessional and honestly disrespectful. This is another terrible McDonalds in Thousand Oaks. They fill the fries halfway full, and the cheeseburgers are clearly made ahead and sit out under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Save your money and go to the one on Arboles instead.

Run!!! It's now probably the worst McDonald's in the area. They removed nearly everyone from behind the counter and added a bunch of automated kiosks. Most of the brain surgeons that try to use it don't know how, so yes ordering is a nightmare. Also, the cherry on the top; be careful at this place if paying by card. Twice this past month I've been double charged for the same order. Only found out at home later.

Always triple check your order. Most employees at this location barely speak any English, so they'll consistently get your order wrong. I was in a hurry today and forgot to check, so got home to find missing items I paid for.

Update: Still sweeping dust at me while I eat. Funny how most of the positive reviews look like bot accounts. Seriously, everytime I go there, no matter what time, the Lot-and-Lobby person proceeds to sweep the floor around me and everyone else. Dust flying everywhere and on my damn food. Brought it up with manager and got the I- don't-care-stare. Typical policy is to only sweep at isolated areas, not under my feet while eating. Get a clue.

I used a code for a free fry, the person over the speaker said it was all good. When I got to the register they must have messed it up because they said the code wouldn’t work then and proceeded to charge me after I said it wasn’t ok to charge me, not to mention there was a homeless man at the end of the drive through who screamed “oh I bet you think you’re hot shit” to me and my girlfriend were leaving not to mention they hired a man in his truck to paint their spots who was blocking the road with shopping carts. I've been to many locations and my daughter works at a location in our city, the manager and another worker were very disrespectful to her and the worker who took my order in the drive through kept saying after every item I ordered ok are you done, ok is that all. I didn't feel valued as a loyal customer of this brand.

I was a passenger with my wife. We pull up to the drive thru and say “mobile order”. The lady behind the intercom actually yelled through the speaker, “What?!” We say “mobile order” “What?!” “Phone order” “What is the Code?!” “Uhh (shocked at her tone), insert code. Fast forward to the window to pick up. My wife asked for some crème and sugar for her oatmeal. The face was a face of shock and disgust from the employee, “You didn’t order coffee!” My wife was shocked, and said I need it for the oatmeal. The lady turned to her coworker and said in an angry tone referring to my wife, “uhh please and thank you?” My wife received her order and said thank you. Ladies response was “good. Bye!” This is some of the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen at a fast food place. I’m not one to wish for people to lose their position, but this lady is more than deserving.

I don't eat at McDonald's anymore. As if their bloated prices for nutritionally sterile food wasn't bad enough, the greedy franchise owners started charging $.25 for a ranch dressing packet. Corporate greedflation. I'm using whatever free points I have left, but McDonald's won't get one thin dime from me. It's far cheaper to eat at home and my food is actually -good- for me. Tired of McDonalds still prioritizing drive thru orders instead of grab and go or dine in orders. It's an old broken system where workers try to race a clock to get orders out, and the timer is pointless. Catch up and realize tech has changed. I should be rewarded for walking inside to get my order rather than making you walk out for curb side. Also one of the drive thru lanes is closed at 8pm on a Sunday, and the drive thru is wound all thru the parking lot. Dang get it together.

I wish I could give zero stars.....I placed an order with the app, I was trying to have a quick lunch with my grandkids before a swim back at the house. Even though I had an order number, a confirmation number, the correct McDonald's and charge to my credit card that I patently explained and showed them, they did not have my order and the manager on duty didn't, couldn't care less. She didn't want to make this right. I called corporate and it was like taking to a robot, kept repeating herself saying my order was at another McDonald's even though my confirmation email had their address.

McDonald's always has fries at 10:30 am. Had been on the road with my autistic daughter for 4 and a half hours at that point. Waited until 10:30 to stop and get fries for both of us. Pull in and try to order, they don't start their fries until 11 am! 🙄 Try explaining that to a hangry special needs kid. Had to travel another half hour and find another McDonald's just to be safe in case out there, they're all 11. Which also added another unnecessary stop to our trip.

Fast food should be cheap and fast. Not expensive and wait times as long as 5 star restaurants. I won't be eating at ANY McDonald's until they come back to reality. Until then, I'll gladly eat anywhere else.

Tons of pickup orders sitting at the counter getting colder, with instructions to “pick up in the store”. But a rude employee keeps yelling “drive thru” only, when the drive thru line is overcrowded. This makes pick up orders completely pointless. This franchise location is a mismanaged mess. I’d suggest going to a real restaurant when a fast food joint can’t offer speed, convenience, and affordability.

Bought a $6 fish sandwich...very very disappointing. They used to be good sized, soft bun and tasty.This was shrunken, bun and fish, and rather hard. I guess I'll have to make my own fish sandwich as McDonald's has ruined theirs.

This mcdonalds is the worst sometimes i go in the early morning around 2 and they run out of food supposed to be open 24 hours ive been there before and everytime I go there the drive through is closed or the inside is.closed the workers said there's not enough workers so I go there today at 3:00 am because I get off work.at 1:00.am and again the drive through is closed the inside is closed so I go to order curbside.and one of the employees inside told.me there closed but there's employees so I don't know what's going on with this place they shouldn't have it say open 24 hours online if there not open even if parts of the McDonald's were closed I was still able to order curbside but not today

Why is this McDonalds charging for syrup and jelly when it should be included with a Deluxe Breakfast? And I guess you have to ask for butter to go with the pancakes because it hasn’t been put in the bag the past 2 times. I ordered an Egg McMuffin combo today and paid for a strawberry jelly and it’s not in the bag. I usually stop here on my way to work but never again. 🤬

So the fact that I’m writing this says a lot. This is, without a doubt, the worst establishment I’ve ever been to. I’ve never left a 1-star review until now. The customer service here is consistently awful. Every visit has been marked by rude, unwelcoming staff who barely acknowledge your presence. Most of them don’t say a word and treat you with complete indifference. It's clear they don’t care about their customers. Avoid this place if you value even basic decency and respect.

Despite the location being in a good area, this is probably the worst McDonald's I've been to in a long while. The manager William just cursed at me as I was walking out in front of other customers about me wanting a refund, which is highly unprofessional for a manager to be behaving in that manner. On top of that my orders are messed up every single time I have come here. So if you go through the drive-through be prepared to have to get out and go inside to go and get your missing sauces, or your order not being right , or your missing items. Worst McDonald’s ever EVERYTIME I GO THEY MESS UP MY ORDER Odaly is super rude she messed up my order and than gave me attitude cause I asked her to fix it and wants to refuse to give me what they didn’t put in the bag I am not one to give bad reviews but she is terrible and the other manager Jesse was laughing she wants to sit there and tell me that I’m just trying to get free food, so I would love for the business owners to check the cameras for the time. I will gladly provide my receipt number because I have it as I did a I scanned for my points on my app, so I would really appreciate the company to contact me because this is ridiculous. I was in there as well last night, and the lady hanging out the food. I believe her name was Mc Gibbons she didn’t even ignore knowledge that I was at the window. They forgot to put in a small fry, and when I told her that I didn’t have a small fry in the bag. She then handed me my fry. She touched. My fries. Had no gloves on her fingers, touched my food and handed up to me like that. This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Odaly is super rude and this McDonald’s is a joke at this point If you’re gonna have a system where people cannot place an order with a physical human being. Inside the store. At least make sure that you’re employees are friendly and respectable people.

Worst burger ever had in my life. Bread was burnt and smelling bad. Also the chicken was very bad in taste. I had to throw them out and order in different restaurant. Never recommend to anyone
