One of my favorite places in Tlaxcala! A variety of dishes, delicious seasoning, natural fruit juice, delicious sauces and rice, vegetarian options, good prices, and a pretty location. The service is good, the music selection is pleasant, and if there's room on the plant-filled patio, it's a very pleasant experience. I really enjoy eating there.

La Conquista, a restaurant located on Porfirio Diaz Street in downtown Tlaxcala, has my approval and recognition given the favorable reception I received and the way the food met my expectations. Starting by exploring its spaces, it has a main dining room that extends along the length of the restaurant, with a terrace to one side and the restrooms at the back. I started with a well-seasoned, piping-hot pasta soup, accompanied by bread that was placed on my table shortly after I ordered it. The second course was chipotle spaghetti. I actually would have preferred another option for rice, but on this occasion, there was no choice. This pasta was certainly well-made, but I'm not a fan of chipotle. For my third course, I ordered a stew from the menu, grilled fish, which unfortunately they didn't have because they had run out. So I opted for arrachera. The wait time for this dish was a bit longer, but nothing to complain about. This dish exceeded my expectations. It's a beautifully served dish, with several sides: tortillas, salad, grilled cactus, cheese, and chalupas. The chalupas were filled with a truly delicious green sauce. The three pieces were a generous portion, which made me stay longer than expected but made my culinary experience quite enjoyable. Is La Conquista an ordinary or run-of-the-mill establishment? No, it's more than that. I openly invite Google Maps readers to visit this restaurant. I assure you, you won't regret it. The prices are quite fair. I was satisfied in many ways, and I'll surely be making many visits in the future.

Delicious food, excellent atmosphere. I've had instances where the waiters haven't brought me an itemized bill and have charged more than I consumed, especially on Sundays. Be careful with the owners.

Homemade seasoning. Very tasty; the only downside (you could call it a downside) is that the food on the plate isn't portioned equally. There were five of us, and everyone received different portions. They accept credit cards and follow established health measures.

While travelling to Tlaxcala for the other time my husband and I made our minds to take breakfast in a new restaurant. We chose this place for its location and prices. To my regret I was disappointed with the quality of the food. As for me while deciding to eat outside I expect to have something delicious. In my case I longed to try their pancakes. They were just cold, flat and hard like yesterday's tortilla. I cancelled my order and had only scrambled eggs. I put 3 stars only because my husband liked his enmoladas. In general they offer you averagely cooked food.

The cream was a little salty, but the other appetizers were fine. The service from the young woman who served us was good. However, I think they should improve their dishes and tableware, as all our food arrived with chipped glassware, which is dangerous to put in our mouths (glasses and cups) and could cause an accident.

Terrible service. It took a long time to serve me and bring the food (not just to my table). They brought me the first course and didn't give me cutlery or water until I asked for it. When they brought me the water, they didn't give me a glass. I ordered spaghetti for the second course, and they brought me something else without consulting me or apologizing (I heard in the distance that they ran out). They just put it on my table. I saw several upset diners and had to watch some leave due to the slow service. The food was average, the sauce was sour.

The food is almost always savory, and the main course portions are small: just two tacos or two enchiladas, etc. In other places, the order is for three or even four items. They charge 10 pesos for extra food when it's just onions; this also applies to avocado or cream, never to onions.

No me gustó, la comida salada, la sopa de pasta no tenía era más caldo y el mesero no me dejó sentar en una mesa para 4 personas a pesar que le dije que iba a esperar otra persona más y me dió una mesa para tres muy incómoda y luego entro una persona y la dejo en el lugar al que yo quería sentarme, era la tercera vez que iba a comer ahí, y ya no regreso

This will be my last visit to this place. Prices were in line with the food, the owner was very friendly and efficient, the waiter was a bit pushy, and I honestly don't understand how the cooks have this job. The food was awful; I found eggshells (I mentioned it and the owner replaced them immediately), they gave me a cup with someone else's lipstick on it, the pancakes were slightly burnt, and my little one found hairs. I'm sorry the owner is so efficient and his team is such a waste.
