McDonald's new design look

This is an excellent McDonalds. My order is always correct, food is fresh & Hot. These employees are always smiling & honored to offer great customer service. This is my favorite McDonalds & I always go out of my way to stop there even if I am in a rush. They get all their customers in & out feeling pleased. Every employee starts with a warm welcoming greeting. The lobby area is always clean & someone is always waiting to help the next guest. Love this store & the people who work there, they do an awesome Job!!!

Great place. Just got remodeled and the place is beautiful now. Service is fast and the food is hot and fresh. Just make sure you don't go around the time the high school get out because the place fills up with loud, talkative teens.

It's an asset for the college folks at Nassau and Hofstra. The best part of this operation is its manager. He demonstrates in word and action what is to take pride in a franchise. He greets patrons, picks up garbage, cleans tables and coaches his staff by walking the talk. Servant leadership in practice.

Overall it’s good, just the service I didn’t feel quite welcomed, the ladies at the register seemed frustrated, but it’s understandable sometimes at last it’s a fast food restaurant.

The food was hot and fresh the service was excellent and the place was very very clean I absolutely enjoyed my experience there. One of the best McDonald's in the neighborhood. CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS

Is McDonald's, so the food is the same here and anywhere they are... these five stars is for the staff and how friendly and helpful they are and for the cleanliness of the place. For a fast food restaurant, their restroom are immaculately clean.

Nice place to go the food was not messy at all the service was pretty fast too. My order was taken I didn't have to wait that long ifor my order but like typical Mc Donald my drink was extremely sweet and the burger was smaller but beside that the food was satisfying and the fries were warm and delicious it was good

New Drive thru experience great. Love the app. Wait time was less than 60 seconds. Cashiers were friendly. Always get the fries without the salt so you get it fresh. McNuggets and Quarter Pounder with cheese cooked fresh. Ample parking and inside was clean.

I love to see a diverse staff. Back in California do not believe in equal opportunities. They only believe in hiring a particular population that people can push around. So you see absolutely no other people working but Hispanic, which is so unbalanced because it has no diversity like this Mac Donald here. There was even a Black male manager —something rare in California. So I saw some of everyone represented.was a fantastic feeling. This place is clean, all the people here were sweet. I give my overall experience a 5.00

This Mickey D's was not too crowded ( college is over) and there was little to no wait for service. My order came quickly and the staff were polite. I have been to this Mickey D's before and the staff in general appear to be "not too many teenagers" and a generalization with no proof is that many are "Latina women", who all work very, very hard.

This is a very busy MsDs. My meal was fresh and prepared just the way I expected. The staff was friendly and would chat even though they are busy; I really liked that customer attention and service. They even threw in packets of Ketchup. Worth the wait for fresh meal. Thank you to the Whole Staff.

I frequent the front street McDonald's in uniondale quite often. The server is usually the same. She is quite accurate with the order and has a welcoming smile. The line moved usually quick. The only issue I have is the app on my phone won't scan at register

July 25, 2025 We visited McDonald’s around 11:10–11:15 AM, and the cashier who attended us was extremely rude for no reason. The attitude felt personal and made us very uncomfortable — possibly even biased. Definitely not the kind of service we expect.

Clean premises. Just that they don't serve burgers during breakfast hours. You should be able to buy whatever you want at whatever time you like.

The service was fast and the good was tasty and hot. My experience with this morning breakfast was great. The place is very clean.

Good McDonald's convient location. A little bit more expensive than any other McDonald's in your own neighborhood. Make sure you check your food before you leave to make sure they have your order right.

The staff got my order wrong, I ordered a plain cheeseburger and got a regular. Once I addressed the issue they were apologetic and remade the burger to my liking. The staff was great and its a great McDonalds.

Lately I have been only using the drive through. I found it to be easier to use but having it's own inconvenience as the McDonald's on front street only allows only one order per car. So no separate orders.

I used this site the first time and it was really nice. The curbside is a great solution and it's really convenient for people who mostly buy thru the app. Purchase and wait for them to bring the order for you within 5min.

Very decent service from the inside as well as drive through for the most part! I ordered from here and didn't feel awkward out of character by the whole experience. Talking about character how come no McDonalds has any of the original characters (Hamburglar) in its restaurants! That's a fixture that should be in every McDonald, must be for safety reasons chomp that out!

I ordered breakfast through the mobile app for dine in. Food was prepped fast and to par. I was given a free hash brown. Maybe it was a mistake. It would've been 5 stars if the tables and chairs were cleaner. Some of the chairs had crumbs on them. The table we chose was a tad sticky. This was around 11 am.

This McDonald's is always busy but decent. The lines in the drive thru move pretty quickly. My only complaints about today's visit was the fries were saltless and not piping hot as expected and how do you order nuggets, specify a sauce type and still have no sauce, ketchup or anything of the sorts. Like why do you have to ask for condiments that should be a given whether requested for or not 🤷‍♀️...

It's a McDonald's but the food came quickly and was good. The lady who brought it to me is very friendly and helpful.

Service is basically nil since you order on your phone. Food is normal mcds fare. The restaurant was clean

We ordered gourmet coffee , hot chocolate and fries. Both drinks were very watery, fries were almost cold.

Like most McDonald's, this franchise is clean, with helpful and nice employees. The food is what you would expect from a McDonald's, decent for what it is. The one thing, which is really kind of nitpicking, is the sweet tea quality varies, as it is not always sweetened enough.

It has the new touch pads to place an order. Couldn’t get me to touch it deadass. They brought my order to my table once it was done. Appreciated it because I had my littles with me. The food was decent enough. 🤷🏾‍♀️I mean it’s Mickey Deez. My daughter loves it and I’m into watch she likes so yeauh😅

They were polite and courteous and the food was good but they forgot to give me part if my order. I asked the person at the pickup order if my whole order was there and he said yes. Next time, I will remind myself to double check. I did call them afterwards and ask them to give the rest of my order that they forgot to someone else and they said they would. I hope they did.

October 13, 2025 update. Very slow service. Took 20 minutes for my meal to be ready. They don’t put the food at the counter because people will steal. You need to ask them to unlock the bathroom. Took too long for my food to be ready. Bathroom code? Very generous with food portions. Gave me an extra chicken nugget and an extra sweet & sour sauce. Food was typical for McDonald's. Diet Coke was very good. Delicious ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. Fast service. Great McDonald's. Right to the east of Hofstra, so ideal for students.

I went through drive. She did not know what she was doing . First she tells me that the code is not working. I used someone else who was with me she said it was not working too. So we drove up she scand it. Then we got the $5.00 meal she charged us 20 cents extra when I did not tell her too. I got no ketchup no napkins and no barbecue sauce. I had to park my car go inside and get all these stuff. 😡

Burger wasn't tasty chop meat is far from good. I'd rather have Burger Fi or 5 guslys McDonalds prices are now high add $2 or $3 get a better burger. The quarter pounder I had with really tasty and good the flavor of fish was good butt we asked for fries with no salt and they put salt on it anyway some people have high blood pressure so they should listen to what the customer wants no salt means no salt on the fries I've noticed a lot going to McDonald's at people do not understand English that well

Came to use one of the app offers to get a free medium fries, there was just a $1 minimum. Since the app was unresponsive, I had to go to the cashier and ask him for that and 1 cookie (to meet the $1 requirement). When I paid, I saw he charged me for 3 cookies instead of 1. I get if he maybe couldn't hear me, but instead he said: "They only come in packs of 3". That's false. I came here to use the same offer a couple weeks ago, and they did give me an individual cookie. And the option for just 1 is also on the app. I couldn't care about the extra $2 I had to pay, but I didn't like how the employee seemed he didn't care my order wasn't correct, that he just wanted me to go away and was willing to lie to my face: "we don't sell individual cookies". It sets a bad precedent, and doesn't make me want to come back to McDonald's. Sorry to be so negative. :(

Worst experience at the Golden Arches in over three decades of loyalty. I visited this location on a Thursday afternoon at 2. I originally planned to use the drive thru. Unfortunately the line was extremely long and in disarray. A McDonalds tractor trailer was making deliveries impeding everyone. Why they would be recieving deliveries at lunch time bewildered me. Being a loyal customer I decided to park and go inside. Upon entering I noticed there was no line. Now I'm not racist, I have every race married into my extended family. I'm only describing so you can avoid these incompetent individuals. There was a young Hispanic woman with fake blonde hair at the counter. I approached and inquired about McDonald's new chicken strips, the glazed ones. She had no clue what I was talking about about. I placed an order for 3 chicken strip meals and 3 milkshakes totaling over 30 dollars. At this point I was not even disappointed. The Hispanic woman then proceeds to had me 3 empty cups. I looked at her and said I ordered milkshakes. She then realized her mistake. Now my order finally gets called by an older African American woman with a short ponytail. She hands me my order. I took my two bags and saw 3 fries in one bag and the other had boxes of chicken strips. I drove all the way home and distributed the food to my family. Unfortunately I was missing an order of chicken strips. I became slightly agitated at this point. I drove all the way back expecting excellent customer service, a quick apology and my strips. Now here is where my frustration rose to an unnecessary level. Upon entering there was one customer at the counter, I approached the fake blonde Hispanic woman and she didn't even acknowledge me. I waited for the person to pay and received an expression of bewilderment from the woman. I handed her my receipt and said I didn't receive an order of chicken strips. She stared blankly at the receipt for minutes then started to talk her coworkers. They all had no clue. Now the short ponytailed African American woman accosted me with "your supposed to check your bag." Here's were I lost it. I replied its your job. She said I just handed you the bags. I responded with you didn't give me an order of chicken strips. The employees bicker for minutes more while the Hispanic woman tries to hand me back my receipt. I said I don't want that I just want my strips that I already paid for. It is also important to note that there was a Caucasian Male manager with a short cut there from my initial ordering to my return. He was on his phone behind the counter inquiring about car parts. I finally got my strips and was out of that nightmarish experience. Don't waste your time or money at this McDonald's. There is a better McDonald's right on Front Street in Uniondale that's been serving the area decades before this one even opened. It's a few blocks down. They have a real community feel with excellent customer service. The drive thru is always fast and an attentive manager is always inside.

the worst people that you can possibly get at the drive-thru are working at this drive-thru. A simple order for my children 2/4 piece chicken nuggets and two small fries apparently she could not handled told me to drive to the front window where there she was standing in the back with another employee and co-worker of hers and was laughing then I got upset because I demand respect when I give it and I asked for their manager where I expressed the situation that was going on she apologized but they still gave me the wrong order I went home with a McGriddle sandwich and one four piece chicken nugget and that's it so my experience I have to unfortunately say if you really don't get an order this simple correctly then I have to say thumbs down. It's only good for Hofstra students cuz they live a block away but for everybody else I would have to say East Meadow McDonald's and anywhere else.

Last week I complained about the restaurant being so cold. I got to say, I'm a Spanish speaking person, and I'm against descrimination, but i can unseundertand how annoying it is to hear all this women that work behind the counter and kitchen yelling and screaming at each other using vulgar language,one even said "this is a free country I can say whatever I want" Imagine if you went to any restaurant and you could hear everything that goes on behind closed doors? Went and ordered lunch at 11:08, on the screen in the store, paid and all stood there where for my food, for one of the guys working there came up to me and lied bout the time they start serving had to get a refund and leave just cause they didn’t want to start serving lunch at the time they was supposed too, very unprofessional.

Just came back from this McDonald’s, I order a buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich with no lettuce, they gave me lettuce and no mayo. I ordered sprite, they gave me salterz water... They got my order completely wrong. That is why the McDonald’s on Front street will always be better. Little advice, always check your food, or better yet, go on front at!! They don’t even deserve one star.

Terrible. Please stop serving fish sandwiches that have been warming. Fish sandwiches should be made to order. And why do you put a piece of a piece of cheese on the sandwich, why can't we get a whole slice of cheese? Not just this one but all of them. They need to throw the whole franchise away!

Food was ok for McDonald's, the reason for 1 star is they brought up my anxiety and risked everyones life in the restaurant. I went to leave after eating and all the doors were locked. So at this point I am being detained against my will and causing a fire hazard. I told the staff about it and they did not care. I will not be back to this location anytime soon.

I went in the drive thru over 35 mins finally got to the window they told me to go in store to pick up my order which I did and my order was still not ready so I asked one of the employee 2 times (a female with fake blond hair)how long more is my wait she totally ignored me.. Staff is horrible.the menu deals are never given at the register.they refuse to mix the mcflurry and say because it's too much work to clean the machine.for some reason (maybe participation) they wont honor the sales printed on their menu or weekly coupons Every single day my friend orders a mcdouble with no cheese and everyday they put cheese on it.they get mad when he asks them to remove it

It's like every other McDonald's, order, get a number and get your food when your number is called up. Employees are fairly friendly (as friendly as one can be at 1 in the night). EDIT: after having ordered many times by now, my review changes 100%. I got cold oatmeal today, a previously used salad (which I believe was out with another customer, why else would there be dressing on the salad?), The apples weren't in the oatmeal, it was nearly all water. Absolutely disgusting. The worst order I have ever had from any restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised to find your in the oatmeal too. (Date: Thurs., 10.11.18). Normally the food from here is amazing for a McDonald's, always fresh, but today was a no-go.

This happened on 08/30/2023. Tried opening the door at few minutes before 7am. It was locked, quire understandable, the restaurant opens at 7 for dine-in. Waited for the clock to tick 7 and tried opening the door, it was still locked. I went around to the drive-in window and asked the lady whether you are closed today. She said the door is open, go see it. I told her that it was not opening. Came again to the door and was able to open it. The guy wearing a grey shirt just didn't open the door with his phone at 7, they just had to say that they forgot. But they kept arguing. It is all in the camera footage, if you have cameras. 😡😡😡 You don't lie early in the morning. 👎👎👎

Employees are just rude. Prices went up. They didn't give a sauce even though I specifically asked. The person at the window should be fired for her attitude. You work at McDonald's not a 5 star restaurant. I don't move to a spot so I can be forgotten about. For any take out. Nobody likes running food out. I'm not waiting an extra 10 minutes for a 6 piece nugget because your times are so important. If you don't want people at your windows for an extended period of time, get the food out faster. Practically throwing the bad at me and slamming the window in my face isn't acceptable. You're McDonald's not a 5 star restaurant. The last time I'll go here. I'll be going to the McDonald's on front street a half mile away.

Awful service here every single time. They completely ignore anyone standing at the pickup counter. I stood there for a good 10 minutes while numerous employees noticed me standing there, including one who seemed to be the manager, and I was ignored by every single one of them. I noticed that they were only interested in fulfilling drive thru orders, so I walked back to my car and used the drive thru to pick up the order. At the speaker, they had the audacity to tell me that I had to come inside to pick up the order because it was placed through a third-party app (UberEats). I explained to him that if they actually ACKNOWLEDGED me standing inside at the pickup counter, I wouldn’t have resorted to using the drive thru. Terribly managed location with unapproachable, unhelpful, unfriendly employees. A regional manager has to pay a visit to this location and straighten them out.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this McDonald’s location. The employee working the drive-thru was extremely aggressive and rude. We ordered two meals in one order, but only one sauce was included. I understand that McDonald’s usually includes one sauce per meal and that extra sauces often require an additional charge, which I would have been completely fine paying. However, I was never given the option to pay for an extra sauce, even though there were two meals, not one. I politely asked for one additional sauce, and he responded by saying, “There’s sauce in the bag,” while handing the bag to me very aggressively and walking away. Because he had other customers, he had to return to the window. When he came back, I calmly explained again that there were two meals in the order and only one sauce, and asked if I could please have one more. He gave me an attitude, slammed the window shut, and walked away again. When he returned, I tried to ask for his name because I planned to leave a review about the situation, but he refused to give it and ignored me. At that time, a manager was standing directly behind him. I attempted to get her attention so she could see what was happening, but she walked away. After she was no longer present, the employee put up his middle finger toward me. I do not usually take pictures of people, but because I was being ignored and treated so disrespectfully, I took a photo for documentation. The hostility over such a simple, polite request was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand fast-food jobs can be stressful, but customers should still be treated with basic respect. Management seriously needs to address the behavior at this location.

Why are the fries so salty? Does anyone know why I got a small fry that tastes like the whole bottle of salt shaker was used.

Just when I thought I could go near the university Hofstra Mc Donald’s and get a happy meal for my 10 month year-old daughter and her mother… thinking that I would get better service than in Hempstead, but as salty as her attitude, she just couldn’t put more salt on the fries that I ordered for my daughter and my baby’s mother… the fries were so salty that I had to tell my baby’s mother to put the fries on a plate and try to shake the salt off of the fries… the person that supposed to be in charge at night a.k.a. the manager ebony female with 300 hundred pounds with NASTY ATTITUDE just because I wanted to repeat that I wanted the Mac chicken and fries also…which I did not see on the screen at the time she asked me if I wanted anything else IS RIDICULOUS…must be replaced (it was August 24 around 11pm) Corporate Should Make Sure They Hire People That Really Want To Work There, not Bad And Terrible Managers like this Evil Lady P.S. “IF You DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB”(((GET ANOTHER ONE AND VOLUNTARILY QUIT))) Hope you remember me now!

Drive thru employees can be hit or miss, usually they're very rude and disrespectful if you ask for anything else extra with your order (sauce, cupholders, bag). Management clearly needs work if this is who customers have to deal with at the drive thru.

This is the worst I’ve ever received. Burgers pink throughout the entire burger. Disgusting. Horrible presentation and a waste of money I had to throw it away.
