Williams Chinese Food

Unexpected to find a Chinese restaurant in rural central valley that was so good! The dish I had (from back of menu, below the kung pao items -- with shrimp and scallops, spicy and sweet sauce. Simply delicious. Water chestnuts were not out of can; fresh, delicate taste. Scallops (sliced) and shrimp were fresh and tasty. Chardonnay was actually better than i expected too (wine choices are limited). Everything was quick , they kept an eye on me, didn't feel rushed. I read for awhile as I finished my wine and tea. What a gem! and it is near Colusa National Wildlife Refuge, where I love to bird. SO a win for the future too! Two blocks from hotel I'm staying at.

The food was excellent. Best WonTon soup I’ve had in a while. Cashew chicken was excellent and cream cheese crab wontons, no crab, but lots of cream cheese. One negative, I don’t think they shouldn’t make you purchase your rice as extra when you order the main dish. Very clean, well appointed restaurant. Made me want to sit there and eat in.

Visiting my sister from Los Angeles, and I have to admit we have some pretty good Chinese food restaurants where I live, But here the food was excellent. Everything was delicious, and we ordered a lot! service was superb. I would definitely come here again!

Delicious Chinese food! Large portions, reasonable prices.

Driving through on I5, read the reviews, and decided to try it. We got the cashew chicken and steamed vegetables. They we're both great. Other reviews said the service wasn't good, but it was great for us. Three waiters waited on us and checked in multiple times. Very friendly and excellent food. Will stop by again for sure!

Everything is amazingly delicious! we had hot and sour sour, crispy beef "to die for" and chicken with mushrooms, pot stickers with yummy sauce. Amazing service! Can't wait to go back!

Passing though town, stopped in for supper. Very quaint and clean establishment. Servers were very polite, and the price point was good. The food came very quickly and was hot and delicious. Great variety of traditional dishes on a simple menu. Recommended.

I love this place. The food was amazing the service was great the atmosphere was fun. I cannot wait to go on another road trip and make this an annual pitstop!!!! Reasonable prices and never had an empty glass for to long!!!!!! YOU MUST STOP AND EAT!

I grew up with a lot of chinese people and was really skeptical about the Chinese food in Williams but I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. I was a little sad about not being able to dine in- but the food was so flavorful and a wonderful change of pace from the other restaurants in town. I see a lot of one star reviews based on the fact that they couldn't dine in- but where I'm from it's not uncommon for the website to not be updated, especially after covid, and I always call first rather than take out my frustration with a 1 star review.

Best tasting Chinese food around by far. Portions are adequate for price. Serves / chachiers/ all staff pleasant always greate with a smile. My family is a fan of both their take out and dine in.

Great place to stop, super friendly staff. Their Po Po Platter and Shrimp Fried Rice were super yummy! We are driving from Austin, TX moving to Oregon it was good to sit down and chill for a bit. Thanks!

I stopped in on my way home wanting some good food. Nice clean restaurant, the staff are really friendly and the food was delicious. They are fast and the prices are great!

In all honesty this place deserves its rating. The mandarin chicken is immaculate and portion sizes are heavenly for the price but they don't skimp out on flavor at all.

Best place to eat in Williams, Ca. I love American Chinese food and they do it very well here. Things to get... Pot Stickers, Egg Rolls, Chow Main (we like it plain), Spicy Mandarin Chicken, or Crispy Honey Walnut Shrimp!!!! Great food at a great price.

The manager was nice enough to allow our large party to sit down and eat when they closed in 10 minutes for their staff to have lunch before they reopened for dinner. We had a large order and they made each dish quickly and it was delicious. The staff was personable and made us feel welcome, even though they were confused by the number of people who showed up last minute as they were closing up shop. It was an eventful time and when I find myself in Williams, you know that I will make sure to come and enjoy another meal at this Chinese restaurant.

I ordered the shrimp curry with a side of chow mein from the lunch special, and it did not disappoint! 🍤🍛 The curry was rich, flavorful, the shrimp was cooked to perfection and the chow mein had a great texture. What made it even better was the price—such a great deal for the quality and portion size! 💸 The restaurant was pretty busy when I went, which I always take as a good sign. People clearly love this spot, and I was actually recommended to try it. There were so many items to choose from so I’ll Definitely plan to come back and try other items on the menu!

Visited May 7th..see receipt. Another scrumptious lunch at this restaurant! The servings are plentiful and the lunch special I had was only 11.95! I got the orange chicken with fried rice and egg flower soup (soup is included). The orange chicken was nice and flavorful with a slight crunch to it. The rice has alot of flavor to it as well! I also enjoyed their in house made wontons filled with meat and you could tell they were not from a vendor or frozen! I have never had a wonton taste so fresh before! They are quick with the food and the owner Elena is always there working hard to make sure everything is done just right and to the customers request. It's clean inside and they do a great takeout business as well. Beer and wine also available. I love Chinese food and this place knocks it put of the park with consistently good food and REASONABLE prices! Please note: the city has temporarily rerouted this area so take fifth street ( pass Roberta's taqueria) and just go one Block up and turn right on D street. They are directly across from McDonalds. There is large truck parking next to the restaurant. I have reviewed alot of Chinese restaurants, and this one will not disappoint! Huge menu! This place is located in Williams and close to I 5. It had good reviews so I thought we would try it before getting on the road. We ordered the beef broccoli and orange chicken along with wonton soup..the food comes out very fast! The soup was good with plenty of wontons. The beef with broccoli had a good amount of broccoli and the meat was very tender. The orange chicken was tasty with a nice crunch! I am very picky about my Chinese food and this unassuming place did not disappoint! Good portions with leftovers. What a find! They have lunch specials during the week that are more budget friendly. The place inside is clean and the wait staff is on top of it! It was a good experience with yummy satisfying food! Elena the owner was very pleasant as well!

Wowie!!! This food absolutely surprised me with how delicious it is! I got the combo with Kung pow chicken, and omg, so good! It also came with a small soup, which was delivered to me moments after ordering, along with 2 small appetizers and a size of fried rice. Seriously, it's the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Good sized portions, too! I definitely recommend coming here to eat! This isn't super important, but I was even impressed with their clean and well put together menus. So glad I stopped here, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will come back!

Great food,always freshly made. We ordered from menu dinner b. And an order of noodles on the side. Came out to$40 for 2 people, so not bad. All meals are family size. Dinner options seem to be a bit smaller.

Good food fast. Had the pu pu platter. Ordered when I got there and was out the door in 10 minutes. The interior looked freshly painted and clean but dated. Which fits the area perfectly.

I am surprised that this restaurant does not have higher ratings. I have eaten here 3 times and for me it is only once a yr traveling from the OR Coast to San Diego. I have found that everyone is friendly and the food is excellent. The servings are on the large size. You do not go away hungry n your tummy with be very happy n content. I highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to my yearly visit next week.

It's also not rubbery like some places where you get a bunch of gristle or fat. I look forward to stopping here when I go through Williams now.

Good was excellent. When asking about single meals and not a family meal, it was explained many different ways. We got confused quickly. The person stated "there was the family meal a and b. That was the only meal they had. The a la cart you only get the single item and that was it." A few moments later they explained the meal can be ordered. Ok, so now we have two different stories. This went on for 10-15 minutes. The story changed a few different times. Last time she came over, she explained finally that you can order the family meal as a single serving for one person. So we were able to finally order. After we got our food, she came over and stated, "see, that was not hard". Really, now patronizing guests!? Should have explained it correctly the first time. Food was great, courtesy was not.

Food was good. I am pretty bummed they charged me $4.50 for ice ON TOP of the $15 for the entree. This lowered the VALUE of the overall experience. I'm tired of getting gouged unnecessarily.

Great food, but the item prices on the menu are not accurate. Each item ends up costing about 13% more than the listed price, which was surprising when I got the bill.

I did not like my food at all. We talked to the owner in hopes I could get something different and she just said "oh" and walked off. The servers were very informative, polite and quick. That was the only good part about my experience. I do not recommend the food.

It's nothing holding back or how wasn't to bring meals. It it's okay and not for Traveling Spoiled so fast . Depending people are or not always good. We don't or here aren't believe things, but to enjoy food . Truly thanks wonderful in my Atmosphere

This bad rating was considered after a LOT of thought. My last (only) review was 5 stars: based on multiple sit down visits. Today we ordered out. A disaster! Both meals were not as ordered. Meat was like left-overs! Only hope this review results in them taking a look at "To Go" orders. Something is wrong! They have been SOOOOO good in the past. Hopefully all their problems are only on "To Go" orders. Will go back (sit down) to confirm my suspicions that they only have problems with Takeout!
