Long John Silver's

I got food from there last night around nine-ish. I got home to eat it. It was lukewarm and literally inedible, which was disappointing because I haven’t had Long John Silver’s in a very long time. The reason it was inedible is because it was so hard I couldn’t barely bite through the fries. The chicken was extremely hard to bite through and the fish I could kind of bite through, but it was very cold, which made me concerned. I thought it was held too long in the holder. I’ve tried calling multiple times to see if they will fix my issue, but they never answer their phone all in all extremely disappointing. The workers were very polite though that’s the only reason I gave two stars.

This restaurant is always nasty dirty. Food is overpriced for what you get. Coupon mailer is bull crap. Says any meal that's not true. Chicken is small and most of the time overcooked. Staff lady in the back was complaining. No more Long Johns

You will spend almost an hour getting your order. I ordered online before I got off work and when I arrived I still had to wait 20 minutes. Even though I put the order in a little over an hour before. Noticed they walk around and talk a lot.

Let just start by saying over the past 20+ years eating at this location it has steadily been going downhill. Not only is the building falling apart. It needs a major renovation inside and out.. the inside is so greasy and outdated. I will say the service was not bad. However, the food was overcooked had been cooked for a while so it was not hot and tough to eat. I was the only person eating inside. When I got here one person was picking up a to go order And One other person came in to get a to go order while I was eating. It was obvious the at the counter was having family problems with his wife and sibling inside arguing about something. I believe Abilene would benefit greatly with a new Lawn John Silver location in a new building.

I refuse to return until their fish is as it used to be. The last time I went, the fish and chicken were both the size of my fingers. I didn't pay $27 for nuggets! They were both Coates in so much grease both my daughter and I got sick. She had rhe chicken and I had the fish. It used to be my favorite place to eat. Now, I go across the parking lot to Fuji Hibachi Express.

Honestly, food is good sometimes. I guess it depends which cook is there. This building deserves a renovation. I am not saying paint. It is far from needing ceilings, floors, air conditioning, and updated bathrooms. This Long John is a big part of our childhood. I have heard people say it's ashamed how this looks right . I hope we have been heard. God bless

If the drive thru line is 5 cars or more, good luck getting in or out the parking lot. Luckily for me, the last driver was considerate enough to back up and let 2 of us out. The food was meh. Fish fillets were really greasy and the hushpuppies were flavorless. It wasn't the worst food I've eaten, but I wish I had gone somewhere else.

How are those tiny shrimp 10 dollars but the clams which seemed like more under 3. Thats the fish also for 10 dollars qith no crunchy bits. Not worth the money. Fish was dry and old not fresh.

I ordered 2 pieces chicken strips and fries. The children was not done and was rubbery and couldnt cut it in half I took it back up there and the cashier told the cook complaint on the chicken so cooked remade them but she was rude and said to the cashier I cooked it right and I haven't had and complaint on it. Then she got even madder cause I give the cashier the whole plate and she said we'll I told you to just remove the chicken pieces not the whole plate now what was the sides; then she give me less fries then what I was given the first time. Then I sit down with this plate the chicken still was not tender. I know my chicken pieces I have eaten alot at long John Silver and this is the first time I ever could not eat my chicken. I just ate my fries only. But as a cook you dont say that to a cashier knowing the customer is right there. I will never come back to this location again.

This place sucks. Went yesterday to get food and I saw online it gave seniors 60+ discount. When I got to the window the RUDE NASTY girl said not her you won't. I drove off and will call cooperate office on Monday as well as the health department.

This place is FISHY - no pun intended. They Stole from my friend Sunday 12/7/25 charged her card twice and refused to refund her for the additional charge. She asked for a gift card or even just the meals they over charged her for and the manager on duty refused. He asked her to write her credit card info on a piece of receipt paper (super shady) and when she said no he said there is nothing he could do. She asked for the corporate office number and he refused to provide that to her as well. Side note - the whole place smelled like paint as well.

Came in Sunday they charged my card twice. When I went back yesterday to see if they could offer a gift card or a refund and they told me I would have to write down my card info and leave it with them for Friday to speak to the area manager. Then refused to provide me corporate phone number for proper complaint.

I received emails with coupons the only way you can use the coupons is if you order online. The Long John’s app will only let you choose delivery through door dash and not pick up in store. Which I have ordered online and picked up in store in the past. I went to the store and spoke to the so called manager they could not help me said they never seen this before. I refuse to use DoorDash when I should be able to go pick up my orders without paying extra for delivery.

Ordered 3 piece chicken combo with two sides and and 3 piece shrimp. The chicken were hard as a rock like they were cooked way earlier and in the warmer and the fries were over cooked. The only thing good were my shrimp and soda. Been trying the call the past l2 hours and no one will answer the phone so I’ll be taking it back to them once I leave where I’m at. Usually good food but this was a total disappointment

I don’t normally eat here, but I had a pregnancy craving, so I gave in…. 3 chicken strip meal and a root beer cost THIRTEEN DOLLARS. I had to wait quite a while and I was the only customer, so I assumed they were having to make the food fresh… I should have checked the box… there were a ton of fries (that were not very good) and the hush puppies were normal. But three of the smallest burnt and old pieces of chicken were there to do nothing but disappoint. They didn’t even try to add the extra crispy things. The chicken strips were about three inches long max.
