We were on a trip and found this 1960s-style picnic spot. Large families with children were there, and it was quiet. The waiters were attentive. Local cuisine and grilled dishes were served. The portions were generous. It's very pleasant in the summer and at sunset. Good prices. Because of all this, the place fills up. It's best to make a reservation. Now we stop in whenever we pass through Albacete (we bring the dog because it's outdoors).

We went for lunch, with a reservation, on a weekday. We chose the set menu. The dining room we were seated in filled up quickly. It was a bit noisy when it was full. The service was quick and attentive. As for the food… it was decent and in line with the price (set menu €11). It included a salad, a choice of 4 or 5 starters, and a similar number of main courses, plus homemade desserts. Recommended if you want a decent, quick, and inexpensive set menu. We'll be back and try other options on the menu.

We decided to eat in, so we booked, and everything was packed. The food was great, but the service could be better. We ordered Coca-Cola, and without telling us they didn't have any, they gave us Pepsi. PLEASE, it doesn't cost anything to say you don't have any in case you want to change your drink (many establishments do). We waited longer than usual for a service. I recommend ordering everything at once. The food was great.

A classic, old-fashioned restaurant. We returned after a long time and everything is the same: delicious food, fast service, and good prices. Highly recommended.

Last night we had dinner with the family, having made a reservation in advance. The portions were good, not greasy, and of good quality. I only have three points to highlight: the fried cheese was accompanied by a plastic tub of jam (a typical dish in Albacete that requires more careful presentation); the mancheguito was quite dry and a bit lacking; and please, don't call a plate of bagged potato wedges with four sauces "bravas" (fried potatoes).

Arrived without a reservation. Had to queue for 15 mins sitting with a beer. When we got a table the barbecue was excellent and the price reasonable. The COVID-19 protocols were fully observed.

I didn't have a good experience the first time I've come to this restaurant for dinner. I had high expectations, but it was quite disappointing. We arrived at 9 pm and it took them exactly an hour to take our order. It's true it was packed, and they might have been understaffed because it was quite chaotic. The dishes started arriving, and in my opinion, the snails were bland. The tail wasn't crispy but rather soft, as was the casing. Even the beer wasn't cold enough. The only redeeming feature was the potato wedges, which were very good and large. Perhaps they were having an off day, and surely it will be better another time.

We were occasional customers, and I say "were" because I doubt we'll be back. To justify driving to this restaurant, you need what they used to offer. The quality and quantity have plummeted, and the prices have gone up. Dinner: Ridiculously small cuttlefish, €12.50 a plate. The "lining" was nothing but roasted bacon. Thin, tough, and overcooked ribs. Refried pig's tail that tasted like you were chewing breadsticks. The desserts, they claim are homemade when they're not. You ask them to remove the bread, but they add it to the bill. I'm never going back. I repeat, these days it's not worth driving to the outskirts of town to get ripped off and eat bad food. What a shame, considering what it used to be.

A disaster. Overpriced for the quality. The bread was dry. The cheese and ham portion was very average. We ordered a whole grilled chicken, each half cut separately. Most of it was raw inside, and one half was missing the thigh and drumstick. I didn't check the other. No potatoes or other side dishes. Just the regular entrecote with frozen fries for the kid, €30. We paid and left. I don't recommend it if you're a visitor.

The place is clean, the waiters are friendly, and the quality-price ratio is decent. They have typical local dishes like atascaburras (a potato and cod stew) or ajo matadero (a garlic and bread soup) in winter. The meat isn't bad, although in my opinion, the quality and quantity are below average compared to other places. There are better options.

I usually go with my family, and today I went with my coworkers for lunch so they could try it and start going every day… always good food and good prices. To my surprise, today the food was okay, but for three set meals, drinks, and coffee—which we ordered from the menu—not only did they not charge us half price or the price of a set meal, but they charged each item separately. I'm not saying they should give it to me for free, but 19 euros per person for that is highway robbery. Never again!

I arrived to ask a question. There were three people at the bar, they looked at me, then proceeded to ignore me. I waited to see if they would help me, and then a girl came over. I asked her if I could bring my small dog in, and she said no with a disgusted look. I understand that they don't allow dogs, but at least they could have been polite; we could have come back another day.

It used to be one of the city's top restaurants, worth driving there for a meal. Lately, it's gone downhill... This time we ate on the terrace, and the service was pretty awful, with excessive wait times between courses (and the same goes for drinks). The food was bland; the waiter even added salt without us asking. Honestly, we left disappointed by the food, the slow service, and the unfriendly attitude of the terrace waiter (I suppose he was having a bad day, or at least I hope so). To top it all off, they charged us extra for a bottle of water, but that's almost the least of it... (Without dessert or coffee, it came to €25 per person without ordering anything fancy, by the way.)
