Honestly, one of the better McDonald’s I’ve been to. Never had any issues which is impressive given its busy location.
You don't always know what to expect in this location but I stoped in the evening with 4 friends and we had no issues.
I stopped here to grab a bite for breakfast. Everybody was very fast I just grabbed the value meal which was perfect especially the price.
I always like McDonald's coffee when it is made fresh. The young people who work at this McDonald's you can see they concentrate on doing a good job & what I saw they are kind to their customers ! I commend you all as you keep doing good to others !
I had a great experience at the McDonald’s on Allegheny Ave in Pittsburgh. I ordered a large Coke and a regular cheeseburger (which I got for free by redeeming my rewards points). The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I expected. I only had to wait a few minutes after ordering at the kiosk, and the staff was friendly and called my name when my order was ready. It was a quick, easy, and pleasant stop — everything you hope for from a McDonald’s visit. I’d definitely stop by again.
I am a regular customer, and I want to recognize David at this McDonald’s. Dislocation in this person simply deserves a shout out! 🫶🏻🥳 I do not know David personally, but I consistently see the same qualities every visit. He brings a sense of order to a very fast paced environment, especially during busy periods. When things feel hectic, whether due to app issues or high order volume, David stays calm, efficient, and genuinely kind. He gets the job done, and that steady presence makes a noticeable difference. This location is very busy and clearly serves as a major hub for mobile and DoorDash orders. I strongly recommend using the app to place your order ahead of time, as it helps things move more smoothly. The dining room is best suited for quick meals and getting back on your way, since it can feel a bit chaotic during peak hours. Overall, this is a solid and reliable location. A little patience and appreciation for how hard the staff is working goes a long way here. Thank you to David and the entire team for consistently doing their best in a demanding environment. Consistency and resilience, even on the busiest days. I am grateful to see it here! 💪

Never a issue with service, just drive thru service not so great! They're very thorough & try their best work good food& 1 plus is most of the time my food is hot ! I especially luv their breakfast meal deals!!
Overall a solid McDonald's. Usually my go for a quick bite to eat. The workers are quick and efficient, the place is usually cleaned very well, and it even has a piece of artwork of the North side of Pittsburgh to look at while you're eating. The $5 meal deal with the mcdouble is a steal. My only complaint is that sometimes the food has been colder than I liked and they have once ran out of the vanilla milkshake, but that rarely ever happens. Overall I generally recommend (4/5).

Have to put your order in Is at a kiosk. Then when I had a problem the employee that I asked for help wasn't very helpful at all it had a small attitude. On the other hand the food was good it was hot and fresh. The only other thing I had a problem was was the cleanliness of the establishment. I would only give it 3 out of 10 for cleanliness. 5 out of 10 overall as far as Judging it against other McDonald's establishments that I have visited.

Mobile order, waited 15 minutes after checking in and went inside where my order was just sitting ready. 2 people were cooking, 1 was bagging orders, nobody at the counter and 6 people standing by the drive through drinking their coffee and living their best lives. This McDonald's doesn't have their stuff together. Last time I went they got my order wrong twice in one day for breakfast. I went back so they can give me the right item and after they exchanged the wrong item I found out that they messed it up again when I got to the car. Today I went they gave me a cold breakfast burrito. I didn't find out until I got to school to eat it. Hey are also rude and lazy. I see them notice there is a line of people who need help and they just ignore them instead of assisting them. They rely too much on the kiosk which doesn't print out the receipt at times and it can't be used it you are paying with cash. So when people try to pay with cash, the customers have to wait forever until a employee does their job which is help them order at the cash register. I am sick of them.

This place is not actually 24 hours. There’s been multiple times on different days of the week (Usually around 4am) that I’ve come overnight and they told me that their system is down or that they’re understaffed or whatever excuse they feel like coming up within the moment. They need to change the website to reflect their actual hours being that they do not operate and take orders 24 hours out of the day. Also if you can never take orders at this time why are you even paying people to work overnight? Fix it!!!!
They allow their employees with those horrible long hair weaves that go down to their rear ends to work with their hair down, they’re constantly playing with it and swinging it back-and-forth… I honestly don’t want to eat food that has hair in it or that has touched it… gross! I’ll NEVER eat at any of these fast food restaurants that clearly don’t give a damn about their customers again!

I ordered a door dash from this location and am still actively waiting for the order. It has been around two hours at this point. I am so fed up and irritated, I hope I can get money back for the cold food I'm about to receive.
Dear friends, I would like to say a few words about this place. I must say that I am astonished by how unprofessional the staff is in carrying out their duties. I have never seen such rudeness. To begin with, I waited an hour for my order, and this seems to happen regularly. When I asked why it was taking so long, they started spouting nonsense in a very rude manner—as if they were beasts, pardon me, in this civilized world. Therefore, I strongly advise you never to visit this establishment under any circumstances. It is the worst place I have ever been
TERRIBLE service. The “manager” who wouldn’t give me her name, told me “your stuff isn’t on my screen, I can’t see it, can’t recall it so therefore I can’t make it” I then asked what about my money (as it was a mobile order) and the lady slammed the window shut without answering me. Perfect example of a bad manager. Most of the crew was no better. Thankfully one nice worker, gave me the food I ordered.

Service was HORRIBLE!!!! I felt so bad for all the dashers who were trying to deliver orders. Manager and other staff were yelling at customers and dashers to wait their turned and to get back in their cars. Mind you it was 10pm and the line for this McDonald’s was backed up all the way into the STREETS!!!! There was only one younger girl working there that was doing the best she could to accommodate everyone. Love to her genuinely. Everyone else had rude service. We wanted an hour total to not even get everyone in my groups order. There was 4 online orders in our group. Only 2 of us got out orders! One friend didn’t get their order and I didn’t get mine because they said my order Code on the app was incorrect when I SHOWN THEM MY SCREEN ON MY PHONE OF THE CODE!!!! Please avoid this McDonald’s at all costs!!! It’s not worth it, they don’t care about you or the quality of your food! The food we did get was all incorrectly made, fries were bottom of the bin and the meat on the burgers were RAW!!!! Never again.
Ordered SEC mcmuffin, got only sausage and cheese. The worst part about the transaction was i ordered a Iced French Vanilla coffee, Gentleman handing me the drink says it was an ice caramel coffee. I told him i ordered French vanilla, He talked to a manager (i assumed). I can lipread and he said there was no French vanilla on the screen. Then proceeded to hand me the drink, I said 'all good?' he said 'yeah, I wanted to make sure i made the right thing.' It was caramel. So flat-out lied to me. I don't mind the mistake but I do mind being told I'm wrong when I had the receipt that says Ice french vanilla. Disappointed.
Staff was incredibly rude when presented with simple questions, there was no one operating the payment window then I was berated when I drove up to the first window to pay. None of the staff was wearing hats/hairnets and my order was made wrong…as a former McDonald’s employee I understand that this is a very simple job and it’s not that hard to treat others with respect. Please reevaluate how you are runing this store….
Love it when we're sitting in our car for 20 minutes outside the drive thru window while the employees are sitting on their phones before they FINALLY work up the courage to tell us that they're being paid for nothing and that they are "closed" (they aren't). Not one person wearing the headset telling everyone at the ordering menu that they're lazy as hell and don't feel like doing their jobs. At least that would be moderately more respectable than just flat out ignoring customers. And they think they deserve $20/hr.
Hours says theyre open 24hrs. Went at around 3:30 in the morning. Went to drive thru and was told that they don't serve any food at the moment. So why are you open if youre not serving at all??
Worst attitude of any McDonald's workers I've ever seen. Longest wait times I've ever seen. All door dash and Uber eats orders get prioritized before in person customers. Wait time for food has been 45+ minutes
Half made food, isn’t that wonderful? My Crispy Chicken Deluxe had no bacon or cheese as I requested. The fries were cooked for a maximum of a minute at least. Very sad. Judging by the reviews, this happens a lot. Don’t come to this place. Should’ve went to Taco Bell when I had the chance.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would not only did they close prematurely when it clearly states the hours of the Business online once I was informed that they were closed for the night. There was a child in my car who the staff at this location overheard him say this is stupid to which management decided to hurl expletive insults because he did not appreciate the commentary I have tried to contact the day shift supervisors however The phone just continuously rings without anyone answering the line customer service at this place has sure gone downhill over the years and I do not see it getting better anytime soon
If it’s nighttime expect food to take forever to be prepared it’s almost as if they purposefully punish people for ordering late.
This is the stingiest McDonald's I have ever been to. First off, there is a 15 minute time limit to sit down and eat. I have never heard of any McDonald's having a time limit to enjoy my food and sit with friends or family. It makes things very hostile and unwelcoming. Me and my girlfriend ordered food for us to sit down and eat. When the gave us our food they forgot out 4 piece chicken nuggets. I don't believe the order we had was too complicated to forget a small item. I understand things can be crowded and crazy and we all tend to forget things but that seems unlikely since we were the only customers in the store. The thing that really got on my nerves was the drink fountain. It was perfectly clean and organized, but we couldn't dispense any soda. No sign that said otherwise or no gestures that it wouldn't work and that I have to wait almost 5 minutes to get a refill on a small drink. There's such a lack of convenience and this store just seems like we should only order on the kiosk since the workers almost dodge talking to me or anyone else at that matter. Overall, the food was mediocre at best for McDonald's standards, the service was not on point besides our food being brought to us, and it just felt like we should eat inside and only order take out. Just come here for take out if you're desperate for McDonald's. The other restaurants are probably better to go to besides this location.
When I pulled into drive thru there was only one person in front of me, I order my food, the cashier says the receipt machine is broken, I insisted on a receipt because this particular McDonald’s is very bad at getting the order correct, he put the paper in I get a receipt 🧾 now I’m at the second window, I pull off I get home I open my meal, it’s ice cold, the steak had half a piece on it, I didn’t order anything bacon but seemingly I got a bacon egg 🥚 and cheese 🧀 🥯 bagel 😩 I immediately call the manager he remade all my food for me, but it was a big inconvenience as I had to get my kid to school and myself to work. If you have the time I’d go on Ohio river Blvd before this one “ You’ve been warned”!!!!

Trash. I've waited in line here for the last time. I truly think the late night employees refuse to take drive thru orders. It's either that, or complete negligence by management to properly staff the place. I've been waiting behind a lady for over 25 minutes without being able to order. I've seen over 10 cars pull around and speed off. Owner/management is losing out on decent revenue for 11:55pm on a Sunday night.

I’ve had repeated issues at this McDonald’s, and unfortunately the experience keeps getting worse. Just recently, I ordered food through the official McDonald’s app and waited in line for 38 minutes. When I finally reached the counter, I was told, “We’re not going to make this order. Cancel it.” That was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Long wait times (30–45 minutes) are already a regular problem at this location, but refusing to fulfill an order after such a long wait is simply unacceptable. I understand if the staff is under pressure, but there needs to be better communication and basic respect toward customers. I sincerely hope management takes action to improve both service quality and customer treatment.
We came this morning and was told we had to wait 20 minutes for a mobile order why should i even put it in through the mobile app whats the point? I am in the health care field and waiting 20 minutes for a mobile order i placed 20 minutes before i arrived to resturant os crazy i am not one to complain normally but today is inperative i am on time and now i got to hope i have enough time to grab my order and then make it to the other side of the city i understand staffing is short but this isnt the first time i had issues.
I couldn't even get through the drive through line to even be able to get my food. They had us waiting there for literally 35 minutes before. Even trying to take orders, they didn't say why they were holding up.Didn't give a reason, didn't say?Please hold on for a minute.Nothing. I got out of line and then went over to Taco Bell. By the time I came back from taco bell, they were still not taking orders at mcdonald's. I was on my lunch break.I literally only had thirty minutes. There was more than enough employees inside to be waiting on customers. The drive through line literally was almost out to the street at that point, whenever I drove past again to go back to my work. I've never had a problem where they've never taken an order. Yeah, sometimes they take their time. But that's because i'm going there at two in the morning. When I went there, it was only nine forty five at night.
How in the world are the manager, the owner, and anyone else involved in the poor poor service and experience at this place still around? This place needs a true leadership overhaul. They set a bar and find new depths to lower it.
Been sitting in their drive-thru line for over an hour they moved two cars while the workers obviously are not working and walking around woman with gray hair playing with the signs in the dining room and they have ran down the clock for the last hour and moved two cars so I would suggest you not eat here and then when I upload the photo you definitely won't want to eat here but follow me cuz I definitely keep track of all these things

There is no reason at all, a mobile order should take 24 mins to fulfill at 530am on a Sunday when there's only 2 cars ahead of you.... For those of you who are familiar with eastern pittsburgh, this is McDonald's equivalent to the Wendy's on Baum after 12am. Avoid this place at all cost if you're in a rush and think you're about to get your food at a reasonable time, you might as well go somewhere to sit down and eat

Horrible service. 5:31 am get into drive thru line one car ahead of me at the order spot he didn’t get served until 5:37 am. I finally get ordered 5:40 am lady taking the order doesn’t even know what round up for the Ronald McDonald house is. Proceeds to never return to the order tell me which window or nothing. The dude before me is still sitting at the window waiting for his order it’s 5:49 am. Mind you behind me there is a slew of cars about five deep. Where is the service? This is appalling. I drove off no service no money.
Have lived in Pittsburgh for over 10 years and I have never once seen this place without a line. Just waited 20 minutes in line for nothing. There were 12 cars in the drive-thru and it did not move one time within 20 minutes. This location and the people that work there should be ashamed of themselves for being so slow. It is always like this and it's the only location that is 24 hours. Unfortunately. I guess for $10 an hour I wouldn't be busting my butt either
This woman working the drive thru apparently has the right to serve what customers she intends to depending on her mood. Ordered an mobile online order at 2 am with no cars in line just to get there and her telling me she’s not going to make it because I didn’t tell her the code at the speaker when another car clearly pulled up to the window and told her the code. All that ego and pride to mask the insecurity for what? You ain’t making anymore by giving customers nasty attitude. What’s baffling is her co-worker told me that this is this store’s manager. When I called her out for her unprofessional behaviors she had the audacity to give me the bird LMFAO. So this is how late night leadership works. I see why this store has a 2.8 rating. Never will get a single cent out from me again. I highly suggest nobody takes this BS. May God bless her spiritually hollow soul.
We sat in line For over an hour. Our uber eats order was sitting on the counter getting cold and they turned their phone number off so we couldn’t call to say our order is on the counter. There’s no reason there should be 30 cars in line and not moving at all.
Left out the hash brown on my order today. Tried to use the link to website to respond like asked below and it doesn’t not work. Filled in the information and it spins awhile then says website unavailable and gives error message.
Want your food to be half made? This is the McDonald's for you! Bacon burger had no bacon, chicken sandwich had no sauce or any other topping, fries were cooked for a maximum of 45 seconds. My delivery driver was stuck in line for almost 45 minutes. I've worked food service for years so I'm very understanding about the fact that mistakes get made but this is not the first time this store has failed to provide even remotely decent service. Pack it up.

This McDonald’s in the morning always has problems with their system. Multiple times say cash only when you place a mobile order and give the employees the voice number they will say that it’s not in the system so you have to cancel and wait. Two days later to get your money back.
Don't order from this McDonald's through delivery app. half of your order will be missing and the other half will be hard and cold . They take advantage because they don't have to look the customer face to face so the send you anything.
The worst experience we’ve ever had an a McDonald’s. I did attempt to contact the corporate office received an email from. I could imagine the general manager who told me to expect a phone call and provided me her personal phone number. September 14 marked two weeks since our experience and she has yet to call me. It took 45 minutes to receive our $14.64 order and the shift manager on duty was beyond rude yelling at my husband and I and another customer who had a mobile order. The saving grace was an associate named James, who I would’ve assumed was a manager, because he conducted himself very professional and apologize for the rudeness of Carol the manager who was operating the drive-through. After 30+ minutes, she actually had the nerve to ask us to pull up and wait for our order to which I refused and said we would sit at the window until our order was handed to us, it was only until Jean’s asked us nicely to pull to a mobile parking spot, and stated that he would personally bring our food out that we agreed to move our car. Who waits 45 minutes for an order we did because I placed a mobile order and had already paid for it . 😡🙈😡
We stopped here on our way home because our daughter has "to pee sooooooooooo bad" at the most inopportune times. I took her into the women's restroom and it was flooded. Like water all the way to the door flooded and the smell is horrendous. Clearly this isn't gonna work so my husband checked the men's restroom and took her in there real quick. I told the girl behind the counter about the flood and her response, (as she looked at me like I was totally interrupting her day) was, "I know." I stood there for a second and I don't know if I expected her to say anything else but she did. She said, "just use the other stall that isn't flooded as much." I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it is the McDonald's on Allegheny Ave after all. They definitely aren't known for their customer service but at the very least they could block off the women's room.

I recently visited this McDonald’s and was extremely disappointed. Not only were some staff members unprofessional and seemingly not eligible to work in a food service environment, but I also noticed unsanitary conditions. There were instances of staff touching their feet while handling food, and I even spotted insects in the food. This was a very concerning experience, and I hope they take immediate steps to improve hygiene and staff training.

When I was told to go to the second window, I did exactly as instructed, but then they accused me of cutting the line. The staff were extremely rude and even threatened to call the police, like why bro. I left without my order, and I will never return. Avoid this place if you value respectful service. You just cant threaten people, if you dont know how to do your job.
This was one of the most unpleasant fast-food visits I’ve ever had. The dining area was dirty, with sticky tables and trash left on the floor. The drink station looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in hours. My food came out lukewarm and poorly put together, and the overall environment just felt unhygienic and poorly managed. I ended up throwing most of my meal away because I didn’t feel comfortable eating it. Really disappointing experience.
What's going on with this McDonald in North?????? 45 mins in drive thru till 6.30 am on a Sunday chill morning and no response from anyone...6 cars behind me .... requesting on behalf of all pittsburghers please hire some good hardworking people here....don't have a decency to even reply a human being whos asking reason on the window for delay or y the drive thru was stopped for 45 mins. Looks like the employees don't get along well with each other and doing whatever they want inside .no work ethics at all ..... please (area manager) werever u are have a look on this seriously....just coz of this bunch of lazy people don't spoil your brand name...is this usa McDonald's?? Learn something from burger king atleast 😡😡😡
CONSUMER BEWARE!!!Ordered a quarter pounder deluxe not only it was missing the deluxe (lettuce,tomatoes) the burger tastes fishy my first bite, I spit it out immediately. Will not be ordering here again at all!! The quality has gone completely downhill! This McDonald's needs to close or get better management before someone gets real sick! I pray I dont get food poisoning! DO NOT EAT HERE! PLEASE!
I went during the night 3am and waited in line. Lady said you can you wait. 10 mins go by and nothing the car behind me drives around and orders food i asked the lady she said I had to wait but when I tried to tell her the driver your helping is the one that drove around me and your helping she got very mad and told me she helping someone who? Isn't me horrible service. Won't come back here again. Didnt even get to order rude equals no service or money from me.
We just got done an afternoon of volleyball and it was 9:30 at night so we decided to get something quick. When we got there the person on the speaker was so low that we couldn’t hear him and when we asked to repeat what he had said, he gave an attitude. When we got up to the first and second window we said thank you and they just made a low grunt, no “you’re welcome”. Then we got our food and headed back to the hotel. They had everything except for the double quarter pounder. I didn’t even bother calling cause if they were rude at the window then I would know they wouldn’t care and be rude. No wonder this place has below a 3.0 star review
came here for an order and the lady on the drive-thru was miserable, nuggets came with no sauce when asked for. Burgers were made terribly and messy, on top of that waited almost 15mins at the speaker to even place our order. some kind of “fast food” this is, get a new job if you hate it so much.
Ordered a double quarter pounder meal. Took a few bites and the burger tasted off like it was covered in some sort of chemical, like a weird soapy flavor. Really hope I don’t get sick off my Meal. Lady taking the orders was also pretty much screaming at all the customers. I work food service so I usually understand when it’s a rough night but the fact that I can’t eat the food I waited 20+ minutes for is a real downer.
It's always dirty !! Outside inside gross!! Every time I go gor breakfast I get " we ain't ready yet for breakfast " then i ask if I can oder something else get the same answer all I want is some hash browns that's it but nope can't get that the staff is rude and lazy
These should all be 0 stars. They decided they didn't feel like working and just mumbled system down in the laziest way possible. Not "hello our system is down, just "system down". No it wasn't a recording it was a lazy young woman laying to multiple customers because she's lazy as expected McDonald's reached out about my review. Guided me to heir contact us page which actually just broken and doesn't ever let you submit anything. Good thing that's the only way you can contact them what a joke....
This place was absolutely horrendous. The staff was nasty to us and it took forever. We did a mobile order and they apparently could not find our order but when we asked to speak to a manager they made us pull up and magically we got the food we ordered and had already paid for. They literally tried stealing our money. Never again am I going here and I highly suggest you don’t either.
Worst service ive ever had at a mcdonalds, of the 3 times ive been its taken an average of 15 minutes. One of the longest times being when I was the 1st one to the drive thru and waited 15 minutes just to not havr my order taken. To make matters worse after driving away I see people in both windows just chilling on their phones.
If you come here, don’t plan to get your food for 35 minutes. I ordered a single sandwich and fries in the drive thru, they asked me to pull ahead one spot to wait. After waiting for 20 minutes, I turned on my blinkers because nobody was coming to bring my food. The runner told me they forgot to start making it, and still had to wait another 15 minutes. You can count of them to forget all about you. Due to the delay, I was late to the event I paid to attend as a result. And the sandwich of course was a total mess, like a 3 year old had made it.
Says they open 24/7 then the window says 5 am. I Terrible terrible terrible store. I waited at the drive-through to order 15 minutes. Nobody behind me. I kept yelling hello hello hello is anybody there? Are you open? Your website says 24 hours a day seven days a week the drive-through hours say 5 AM. I waited and finally a girl says yo we don’t open till like 6 AM like you guys are ridiculous. Whoever owns this franchise location should lose their franchise
My morning stop place as it’s closest to work, I’ve sat in the drive through for 35 mins before my order was taken by the older woman who works. (65 yrs+?) anytime she works. I sit in the line because she cannot work the machine for payments. Nothings ever set up in the mornings and wait times are ridiculous. Also “systems down” and ignores customers is a common option from the same lady described.
waited in drive thru for an hour and when we made it to the window she said her system was down. I didn't even get my money back for the order I placed on the app. I told her she was lying and she didn't disagree with me. wild
This must be the worst McDonald's in the Pittsburgh area. If I could give it less stars I would. If you order Door Dash, unfortunately, you can't choose what McDonalds you order from, and it always goes to this one. I go through 3 drivers each time that go amd sit and wait for the order, then leave. It takes over an hour for them to just prepare the order.
Showed up to pick up and order. Since I was on a bicycle they wouldn't let me go through the drive through. So I figured I'd pick up in the lobby, but they wouldn't let me since the lobby was closed. Then afterall that the manager wouldn't send someone out to bring me the order (despite doing for other customers). They were extremely rude and yelled at me. I was beyond confused as I had done nothing wrong and this was my first time ever picking up here. Genuinely unhinged and strange. I've never had an experience like that in my entire life.
Where do I even start. Thinking my order was correct ….I pulled to window to pick up the food, I know I clearly stated that I ordered a medium fries along with other things as well , but there was no medium fries in the bag, then gave me a hard time adding a medium fries to my order like I was trying to get a free one…. first of all I have no issue paying for nothing but the ignorance, the lack of remorse, no care whatsoever. I was told to go back around as if it was my mistake when it was clearly theirs. If my order put in there correctly, this wouldn’t have happened. Secondly, very unprofessional…. being smart also had no pies available which was another part of my order……there was a wait so I settled for cookies….which were hard and stale… Fries were stale manger tried to work with me at first but gave me hard time with my form of payment which was tap and as dirty as they look, they act as if they Didn’t want to use my form of payment, which was my phone which how I paid initially had no card present …so at this point I no longer entertained any of them. Its a circus in there. Especially on that specific mangers shift. Around 3:15pm on a Tuesday. If I could give 0 stars I would …Do a detox when you leave there. :-) hope this helps
