I have been here multiple times and i truly am never disappointed. The staff here is always very polite i was even here when they had an incident with their drive-thru being blocked by an oversized vehicle and had to wait in order for the vehicle to move safely. The staff here managed the whole situation accordingly following guidelines and let others know the drive-thru was closed very politely. It's a place i do recommend!

Service was great. Food well prepared, seating/tables clean and ready to sit at. Staff very courteous, smiling and friendly. Fast in bringing a hot, delicious meal. My experience, you cant go wrong with eating at a Carl's Hambuger. Mr Karcher would be proud of his franchisees carrying on his tradition.

This used to be the flagship of the chain, being almost next door to the head offices. Mr Kartcher lived a short distance away, hence why they named the street after him next to this restaurant. They've maintained their quality, even after Carl died, the chain was sold, and the headquarters moved out of state. The staff is great, and the food is wonderful.

I stg when I asked for extra pickles, they delivered. 100000%. Other places give you like one extra pickle, not this time. I had a pickle in every bite, so whoever put their left pu$$y lip in my burger…thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ 🍔 🍃

Every Carl's should have the exact same burgers, however not every individual restaurant makes them the same. Here they look and taste great,are neatly stacked, and the vegetables are of great quality. Finally found a great Carl's.

The food was great the cashier Manolo had took the food out fast to us once we sat down. The store was cleaned and was having positive energy and positive attitudes everywhere. Forsure Im going back especially for the cheesecake.

I went today and ordered a Western and 6 pieces poppers and they came out fresh. I ate at the restaurant and they were constantly cleaning the girl with red hair good job, and the bathroom I had used were really cleaned, but also the overall customer service thanks Mayra for taking my order.

I went through the drive thru, and the lot was very clean, and the plants were well groomed. I had a Western burger and fries. They were very good. The staff was friendly. I would go back again.

I went to Carl’s jr today and it was great service, getting a welcome from all the members, clean tables and a little expensive but not much what the crew could do. Manolo was a great help and made sure my food was really fresh and made it for me. Thanks crew can’t wait to go back.

My favorite burgers have been switched up. I don't care for the pickles! Bring back the dill pickles. Green leaf lettuce is for sandwiches not burgers, bring back the iceberg! The crosscut fries were great!

first time at this location. plenty of parking available. handicap parking and entrance there. stepping in is unlike any other carls jr i've ever been too. the lighting is different, in a good way. the tables and the set up makes it seem more upscale. the staff was kind. im impressed. the food was good and didnt taste microwaved.

This is the original Carl's Jr , the roots of this fast food chain. It's a huge building and very modern. The place is not busy , it would have been cool if this has more than a simple portrait of the founder on the wall. Maybe even a special food item to remember the roots of Carl's Jr.

To be fair I've only done the drive thru here but I've always liked the taste of the food. Overall when there isn't a line they move fast but it can slow to a crawl to where you might wait 20 min in the drive thru for food. Is it worth it? I'm a big enough fan of their food to say yes

Love Carl's food is always pretty decent. Prices for combos are like 10 bucks now... boo! I usually try to get the deals or use a coupon and sometimes I just go for it and drop like 40 lol.

I always order food with a cup of ice water. earlier this summer I ordered two cups of ice water because it was hot and I was very thirsty that day. The person working the first window told me I can only have one cup of ice water and if I wanted a second cup of ice water I would have to pay for it. I let her know I've been coming here for years and have never had to pay for a cup of ice water. She said well that's the rules you can go to the second window and see if they'll give you a cup of ice water. I did receive a second cup of ice water from the next window, but was very irritated that I even had to have that conversation with the girl working the first window. Overall though the staff is friendly and helpful.

Very polite, but I ordered an ice tea to drink. They did not tell me that I had to have them give get it from the back. They just handed me the cup, and I had to return and ask about my drink. They took the cup from me, and though there was no one other customers in the place it took 7 minutes to get my ice tea.

Fast, efficient - got my order correct. Only down side: onion rings were under cooked - needed another minute in the fryer. We're a light brown, should have been a golden brown. Turned out soggy and a little raw in the middle.

It’s a really good fast food place but some of the workers suck!! Our fries are old and cold and they never give us the sauces we ask for ! The only workers I really like that get it all down and right are leonela and Ana.

I love Carl's Jr.! Today sadly the service at this location was not great. The lady at the drive through was nice, only reason why I'm giving 3 stars. I got the new BBQ Riv burger since it's new, and I love trying out the new burgers. This burger doesn't come with cheese, so I paid extra for cheese. ( everything is fine ) I ended up parking to eat, and as I finish my first bite, I noticed there was no cheese in ther burger. Usually I never care , but I paid for the cheese so I figured I would go Inside and just ask to add cheese. ( since I did pay extra for it ) lol So, I told the manager ( I think it was the manager ) and told her if they could just put cheese in my burger. She had like the biggest attitude lol and then asked if she could just give me a slice of cheese . I was like, in my hand ? Is there any way you can just put it in the burger? I gave her the box and still had this attitude. So, the cook in the back was like, it came with cheese ? I could hear her all pissed off... finished like three other orders , I was there like ten minutes . I didn't ask for a new burger, I just asked if they could just put a slice of cheese. So, after ten minutes she finally remakes the burger and literally throws it in the food rack area. The burger almost fell out of the box. The drive through lady gave me the burger finally and I told her, why is she so mad ? Lol I mean, it does say ( add cheese ) on the receipt . I paid for it. She looked kind of puzzled and just said I don't know... After that I just walked away and left . I go back to my car and the meat was supppeeerrrr dry and she drenched the burger in BBQ sauce. Didn't even get to enjoy it. Don't think I will be going back to this Carl's Jr. Ever again.

I came here with 2 cars in front of me in the drive-thru. Figured it wouldn't take too long. I ordered my food and then I spent about 20 minutes waiting with 2 cars in front of me. When I finally got my food and got home, I noticed my Double Western I paid for was just a Single Western. Not only that, the chicken tenders came with no BBQ sauce which I had asked for. I am glad I asked for extra ranch for the fries. One good thing is that the food is pretty tasty late at night, but I hope the day shift can pick up slack because overall, I'm peeved at my experience here.

They are just like the others except for the aggressive armed guard who is more than eager to get home. I felt like I was at chow in jail or something. Kind of weird considering I was with my husband and children and we spent like $75. Oh well. Food was good Order was almost correct

The food was great. The service is a good as can be for being short staffed. I decided to walk inside, because I saw about 4-5 cars on the drive thru. One couple was ahead of me inside Carl's, then two online folk appeared. Another family was now in back of me, and another guy solo. One middle aged lady was a pro at her job. She attended one online guy. I felt I was in the wrong line for a second. Then a quick other couple that was there already. Then she came to me, and I commented "short staff?" My sarcastic humor. Then I saw that they were short-staffed. Should have said, "You guys are always busy here, good job". To my pleasant surprise I got my order after I have just filled my fountain drink. For being short staffed I didn't see no shortcomings, and no delays, and they still had a smile for me. I will return to this location without no doubt. Good job team Carl's

This particular store was the closest to corporate offices years past. Even though the building has been updated, it's about the same as all other location. Like all fast foods, you either like it or not.

How hard it is it for these Carl's Jr places to keep stocked on their house dressing? Is there like a shortage or something at least the lady in the speaker had the common decency to let me know before ordering

Clean and friendly but taking orders correctly is an issue. I've been to a lot of Carl's Jr restaurants and usually order the same thing. Almost all the Carl's I've visited got my order correct but this one really got it wrong. Not only did the burger have the wrong items on it, it looked like it was thrown together and wrapped. I would've expected this restaurant to be one of the best, but instead it was one of the worst. The one thing that is nice is this restaurant wasn't plastered with ads on the windows so you could actually see outside.

Last weekend I went through the drive through, maybe it was after 1am. As I was arriving a driver had pulled out of driveway and left. When I paid for my order the manager didn't verify my order she just charged me. Then she hands me a shake and I shake my head, that's not mine. Finally verified my order, gave me Cashback instead of credit on my card, I waited more time for my order. Very inconvenient.

The menu had only 1 salad on display. The salad was 6 dollars so I thought, ok maybe this will be decent. I was wrong. The lettuce was NOT cut up. Not even a little bit. And then there was chicken on top of the lettuce, not cut up as well. Nothing else was on it. It was overpriced and kind of a joke, to be honest

Service sucked at drive through of all places... they were acting like there was something wrong with my burger, that I got for my 6 year old. They were talking in Spanish instead of serving the customer... and the turn off the "green menu" at 9pm... needless to say I threw the burger away... cut my loses. Do not eat here and I will not go back!!!

Food was decent I guess after a certain time unsweetened ice tea isn't made upcharge for bottle watered I was offered unfiltered tap water with my large combo since all the other drinks are sugary I left without a drink disappointed and out of ketchup as well

Came by last night got old jalapeno poppers, they were so old the cheese was all dried up and gone lol I went by to pick up a replacement and they still gave me old jalapeno poppers! They weren't even warm to the touch I had to ask them specifically to get fresh poppers, really disappointed

The food is good but the cashiers don't pay attention to orders. You say one thing and they input another. A few days ago I went with my relative and we ordered two different orders but the cashier made them almost identical with two patties instead of one. We trusted them to input the orders correctly but I guess service is an after thought here. The other problem is that there are so many homeless people in the area. I understand that they have a right to be there but the parking lot around the restaurant is dark (they don't have any parking lot lights) and that may encourage bad behavior by anyone. I only visit this location because it's the one my relative prefers when we decide to eat at a Carl's Jr location and even this is mostly out of nostalgia than the quality of the restaurant.

It's hard to find a good Carl's Jr. these days. I was so stoked on my chicken and waffle sandwich but it was pretty disappointing. The chicken was a good size but the waffle was limp like it was heated up in the microwave. The size of the "waffle bun" was paper thin compared to the chicken so it just ended up falling apart leaving me sticky with syrup all over my hands (not a huge deal but buns are there to hold it all together) and my husband did not have "entre envy" like I was sure he would. He didn't even want to try it like he thought he would. He did seem to enjoy his Angus burger though which is why I gave this place one extra star than I wanted to. My bad for trying something new😔 This is the only time I've been to this location so I can't compare it to anything else. The staff was nice enough. Not rude, nice girls. $15 for 2 sandwiches and a large coke. No combos 🙄 Fast food prices are getting crazy🤯

I ordered a famous star combo and a famous star both with no cheese and when I get home both had cheese. I said no cheese 3 times and they still messed up my order. Not eating here again.

Used to be my favorite carls Jr. But the quality of food has dropped dramatically, they skimp on the fries and only fill them up halfway. Half the time they give me the wrong burger. Food is decent, but it's getting bad... save yourself the trouble and go to the carls Jr further south on harbor. They actually care about quality a bit more.

Super upset. Went to drive through at three am. Super tired &the lady with the short black hair didn't want to accept my 20% employee discount because it wasn't signed. I have worked at Carl's Jr. For 3 years and was never denied my 20 she was very rude about it. I believe she simply didn't want to give me my 20 out of spit. After that she never said anything. I am forever cursed to never receive sausage in any fast food restaurant, and this location held true to that curse. This particular location begins serving breakfast at 5:45. Ordered a monster but got a bacon egg and cheese instead. Couldn't complain because I didn't get a receipt. Returned a second time, and the order was still wrong (although slightly less wrong) and came with 2 receipts.

Terrible ! They should just close up already. Mixed up orders, cold food. Blasting musak. I guess that keeps anyone from doing any business while eating. Solid 66 - 75 decibels. Must be working, the place was pretty empty at lunch time. Carl is rolling in his grave !!!

Horrible service and bad attitude from the cashier saying i could only use 1 coupon . I have been there many times and on drive thru and never had a problem using my coupons . My wife and I ordered here on 5/1/2018 around 7:30pm through the drive thru. Food and bag we received smelled heavily like cigarettes.. neither of us are smokers nor are people who live with us at home.

Had to wait for 15 minutes in drive thru to place my order. The order taker was rude and was trying to rush me everytime I took a breath. Had to wait another 10 minutes to get to the drive thru window. Practically threw the food out the window. Had to knock on window to get napkins and straws. Was handed 4 runny shakes, 4 cold mushy burgers, and 4 orders of cold soggy fries (I tried the fries as soon as I pulled out of drive thru. I paid almost $60 for 4 people and got the worst food I have ever tasted or seen

This location takes too long to get your food to you. They asked me to pull forward and wait while they got the rest of my order to me. 15 minutes later I went in the restaurant after having my 1 year old crying in the back seat driving me and my wife crazy. Turns out they forgot about us and didn’t even have the order ready. They gave us a lousy free small fry for the “trouble” and we went home to eat the rest of our food cold. Don’t go to this location.

Drove out of my way to arrive here 15 minutes prior to close to have an employee claim their system is down and won’t be back up for another 15 minutes… which is when they close… reading between the lines the employees were trying to close early; either a lazy or no shift supervisor was present… in this job market I guess it makes sense, probably should’ve expected it…

Today I went to the drive thru and ordered everything on the receipt, except the LARGE SPRITE, because I said LARGE FRIES, So in the windows to pay I give the guy my credit card and after that he tries to give me the soda; and I ask him did you make it a combo?. So the guy says yes, I repeated the order and you say yes, so after what he told me I was so confused that I didn't say anything, so he went for the manager, I guess, and the manager told me that they didn't give refunds on sodas so they couldn't do anything for which I told her that I wanted fries no sprite and she said I'm going to see if we can change that for fries and I drove to the next window and they didn't give me the soda or the fries. Both the employee and the manager have a terrible attitude, they don't know how to treat customers, after they refused to give me my money or the soda or the fries the only thing I have left is to make a charge back to my credit card

Honestly worst carls jr I go to. The woman that run the night shift are the worst. Sometimes they will close the drive thru even if theyre opened. Kinda ruins your night when you and your friends want to eat a burger after a night out. Theyre also very rude. They put bacon on my vegan burger and then were bothered by me asking for a refund demanded I give the burger back when I couldve given it to a homeless person or made use of it for someone who does eat meat. Very wasteful rude woman. I avoid this carls jr at all times. They also never have syrup in their soda machine. Boo

Very unsanitary place workers grab your money or credit card with their gloves and don’t change them to grab your food.. so tell me what’s the point on wearing gloves? Obviously is to protect the workers and not the customer, very disappointed I will not eat there again.

I'm usually not a picky person. But today was just horrible. First off they got one of my burgers wrong. They used the same buns and ingredients but just slapped a patty and ketchup on the buns. Which came out horrible and unappetizing. Not to mention the wait...as the burger was being remade I saw Paloma adding pickles which weren't supposed to added in. She caught her mistake but threw those same pickles into the pickle jar. I asked to speak with Alex the manager but was continuously ignored until I stated I was going to contact corporate. I've never had such a bad experience at Carls Jr. But today was just horrible..

Waited over 20 mins with only 4 cars in front of me just because someone decided to block the drive-thru until they got the right order. After waiting almost 30 minutes to finally get our food, the order was wrong. My husband ordered a Coke Zero but got a regular Coke instead.

Driving up to the drive thru, I SPECIFICALLY ordered a separate order of onion rings, and my passenger order the teriyaki with onion rings and a drink! Why don’t these ignorant young people PAY CLOSE ATTENTION? How hard was this order? I even asked her to please make sure I have my own order of onion rings and stated, there are NO FRIES with this order. She said ok. Suddenly at the window, I have to pay $13 for just the Combo! No separate order of rings! How upsetting!

Pretty bad place since close-by headquarters moved. They did remodel which was nice, tables had outlets where you could charge your phone or use your laptop. This only lasted for a few months. If you arrive after 7:30pm, most of the room is closed as well as the soda machines. Lots of weird people and homeless around the restaurant. Always error in orders. Some lower quality replacements (special buns by regular buns; 1/3 pound patty by regular patty…). Let’s hope the new community college will help them going back on track with more customers and better trained / payed employees.

I’ve been to several Carl’s Jr. this is the worst staff and location by far. I told the cashier four different times. Thank you and she didn’t reply a single thing then when I ask her for two ranch, she tells me sorry I can’t do that. I asked her why she said we’re low on stock. It’s been a whole year and every time I come they’re always low on stock on everything. This is ridiculous. If it’s low on stock like this, the business should close down.

Come to this location only due to it being close to my house no other reason. They were completely out of grilled chicken . Asked for Sauce they only have ketchup and bbq then after asked me to pull up to help fix their time. Seems to me like they need to do stuff with integrity and make sure they order better. They are always out of sauce . In the last two months I been coming here once a week on different days of the week . They are always out of all the sauces .

I went to carl's junior on Wednesday may 31 2023 The lady behind the counter was Snotty and rude. The french fries were cold i went back and they reheated the same ones. The ketchup packages were sticky from syrup. The tomatoes were clear instead of red. And I paid thirteen dollars and forty six cents for a superstar cheeseburger and a small fry and small drink. I could have gotten a double double, fry and drink at in and out for 9 dollars and would have gotten outstanding and courteous service. I was at the Tustin & La Palma location. I will never go back.

Prior to this visit I had came to get some food and had ordered for the entire family and got 3 lg drinks, inside one of the drinks I could see what appeared to be a hair stuck on the inside part of the lid and was pretty damn long as well.. This time around I didn't order any drinks, learned my lesson.. This time once again, I went through drive through and when I got my order I asked the lady that handed me my food if everything was in the bags and she replied with a nasty expression on her face as if I asked her something disrespectful and she closed the window before I could even ask for condiments. As soon as I got home I realized I was missing a hamburger so I had to go back and by the time I got back home and was able to eat my food it was so cold and my family was fast asleep.

Horrible service. The place was literally empty and no one in line. They had me waiting for over 15 min to take my order. The manager and cashier kept on saying "we'll be with you in a minute" after waiting for about 15min the cashier walked by told him I'm ready he said "ok" and walked away. Left the place without placing my order

I arrived at 9:50 pm on Friday the hours of operation says it’s opened till 10 pm they had the doors locked as if it was closed. Tried to speak to someone even on the drive through they simply did not want my business I had my two hungry kids and a long walk back home super disappointed at this location.

Got my self a burger combo and I order before 2 people and they got there order before me . Not only that I substituted my drink for a crafted lemonade and this is the 5th time I go to carls Jr and they give me a drink and a 16 ounce when the last 4 times they handed me a bigger drink cup with it even me showing proof from the cup the day before they still told me it doesn't. OK I understand but what got me mad is that a employee told me I am remembering wrong?? Like cmon u don't say that to a customer . Even the manager on duty was being little rude about it . Last time I come in to this located. Other locations do give bigger cups for this drink as well. And they told me it's corporate that gives em out not them . Even when I told them as willing to show them I got a bigger cup at this location . Last time I come to this location

any other carls i have gone to have always served me the breakfast burger. Never had an issue til today. I was told breakfast was over and that they only serve it in the morning. so i decided to not to buy anything because thats the only thing i came here for.

Haven't had Carls in a minute...stopped by last Monday and the cashier seemed to rush me...there was literally no one behind me in the drive thru lol. She just seemed to be in a bad mood or not wanting to be there attitude. When my order was given to me she never offered condiments so I had to wait and ask for them. Oh yeah food was cold and the ranch tasted weird like spoiled weird.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Carl’s Jr. I usually go to In-N-Out, but my wife wanted to try something different, so we made the extra trip. When we arrived, the place was completely empty—no cars in the drive-thru and no customers inside. As I approached the counter, the employee, Reyli, told me he’d be with me in a minute while he took out the trash. I waited. When he finally took my order, his attitude was so dismissive it felt like I was forcing him to help me—no smile, no courtesy, not even a simple "thank you for your patience." To make matters worse, as I was about to pay, another employee instructed him to charge her first for her meal, and he did—without hesitation and not an apology in site. After he charged me I even said thank you and Reyli didn’t even give a simple gesture. I was stunned by the complete lack of customer service. It was frustrating, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I won’t be going back. I’ll stick to In-N-Out, where—despite the constant rush—they always make customers feel valued.
