I would give 6 stars if I could. The samwiches are truly a delight. Honestly doesn't deserve the title "fast food," despite it being fast indeed. Because it is so fancy. I will propose to my wife here one day. If Subway were a place, it would be heaven. Yay.

I drive a good 20min to get to this Subway It's my favorite one in Town The little skater kid with the long blonde hair is so nice, I ended up changing my mind after my sandwich was made and he didn't mind remaking me one at all he was so nice about it and he when he opened an avocado it had a few brown spots he offered a fresher one but I didn't mind(: love this Subway !
Great fast service! I ordered ahead on app and took less than 5 minutes to get there and my food was ready to go. Will definitely go again!

The best Subway I have visited in Bakersfield! I come here every weekend on the afternoons after work, and I am always greeted with a, "welcome to Subway!", from one of the employees. Employees are always in a good mood, and you can tell they share a lot of friendship and chemistry as co-workers. I drive two miles to get to this Subway, rather than the Subway only a walk-able distance from where I work that isn't as up to par as this one..

Only one person behind counter.had to wait more than I cared. I am disabled, having to stand for a long period was very uncomfortable. Paper bag with my sandwich fell apart after I stepped outside. My food fell to the ground. Fortunately the sandwiches stayed wrapped. Not happy!!,

This Subway has really gone downhill. The "music", (and I use the term loosely), was annoying and loud. The guy who served me either has a mental disability or was under the influence of something. I had to repeatedly correct him to get my order right, then he started to put my change in one of the little cookie bags! And he and the lady he was working with kept sniping at one another. Very unprofessional!
Subway has been a staple to my diet for a long time I once lost 65lbs just eating their cuisine. Of course I had to workout and train to get into better shape. Their menu overall is the same but the sevice is a mixed bag most people dont look happy working there.

I'm very sad as this WAS my absolute favorite subway until today. I am only giving it 2 stars as the manager handled the situation with the upmost grace. The young lady working this morning was rude and very unprofessional. I was a bit confused on the way she charged my sandwhich and when I called to ask, instead of explaining, she said "I have stuff to do" and hung up. I proceeded to go back and explain how it's very rude to just hang up in someone's face. I also explained that I am not upset about the sandwhich charge nor was I being rude. I explained to her that I was just asking a question and the hanging up in someone's face is rude. Her response "I told you have customers so I hung up." I have never been here where the employees were this rude. Even after attempting to express to the young lady the dynamic of the situation, and even laughing and making a joke here or there to lighten the mood, she still had the worst attitude I've ever seen in a customer service establishment. She was clearly looking to argue and kept stating it. I repeatedly said we are just communicating, I wasn't there to argue and she kept reiterating an argument. At this point I asked for her name and franchise owner, which I was refused. I just spoke to the manager, who was standing there the entire time, and she dismissed the young lady to the back. I say all of that to say this, please train your employees better. There is a way to communicate with people without resorting to rude or snarky remarks. A simple "I wasn't trying to be rude when I hung up in your face. My apologies" would have gone a long way. Thank you to the manager who listened to me and was very nice about the entire thing and even tried explaining to the young lady what she thought I was asking. Young lady just didn't want to hear it.
The ladies working were rude. Kept complaining about some other worker calling in. Sorry but I as a customer don't care. It wasn't even busy so stop crying and make my sandwich please!! I ordered a Firebird wrap and they didn't have the jalapeno aoili that the menu board, directly over there arrogant heads, clearly states comes with the wrap. This info should have been revealed to me when I ordered it instead of after it was already done.

I’m done coming to this one, I’d rather make the drive to another one and I would NOT recommend you wasting your time and money at this subway.

Placed an order through doordash and what I received was disgusting it didn't have none of the toppings that I had asked for and the tomatoes were bad no cucumbers no olives nothing that I actually requested. Called the Subway to speak to a manager and they don't even answer their phones. Left a message and never received a call back this place does not care about their customers because the workers are too lazy to actually do the order because we're not sitting in their face to watch them make it. I basically threw $15 of my money in the trash because it wasn't even edible. I will not ever order from this Subway again. Pissed 🤬

Ordered a veggie delight online. I asked for extra spinach, tomato, olives and peppers because it's only veggies. I got a sandwich that BARLEY had anything and no tomato at all ... DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $9 for a foot long...

This Subway is the worst. Do not go there as the menu is the cheapest in franchise history. They don't even have plain oil and vinegar to top their subs; a staple in Submarine sandwiches. Find another store and don't get a sandwich made from the "so called" manager "Ashleigh" whose IQ might match that of a flea.

Horrible service!!! Never been at a subway where I had to wait for 30 mins. Ever since they got their new manger this location has gone down. Need to be fixed. People would leave because of the wait.

Older women with tattoos was so rude to us and treated us like a nuisance. She was busy talking to another customer and I think she got mad because we came in and she had to work. I usually don't get subway so I was unfamiliar with ordering, but I think you need to ask what size of bread you want before cutting right? She assumed i wanted a footlong and got mad because I told her I wanted a 6in not a footlong when she was about to add stuff to it. Her whole attitude and service was terrible.

One of them was going back and forth from touching different things then peoples food WITHOUT CHANGING HER GLOVES we was going to the back grabbing stuff then touching peoples food I could not watch any longer. I went in to get a meal of the day which is only 6.99 and ask to make it the foot long which should have added up to 9.99 plus tax they charged me for a whole sandwich I didn’t get and made me pay 18 dollars and when I asked to speak to a manager they were in unprofessional and rude and still didn’t ring up the right amount the people who work there are basically immature and don’t know what they are doing they just try to put pocket money in overcharge. It’s the Mexican guy and the white girl with red black hair and tattoos.
Came in with my son wanting to get some food, the lady at the counter was making a sandwich for the only other customer in there. No greeting, or acknowledgment of any kind. When she finally finished his sandwich (which took way longer than I would think it should) she said she would be with me in a minute and proceeded to make another sandwich. I’m not sure if someone was picking up a mobile order or if she was making it for herself/another employee but I saw three people behind the counter and not a single person cared to help. After waiting over 10 minutes I walked out. This is the first and last time I’ll ever visit this location. Take your business elsewhere.
Management mistreats customers and staff. I made the mistake of getting some sandwiches here and was given the worst experience of any Subway. I ordered a listed item and asked for all veggies only to find out they will only use the listed items making it the worst Subway sandwich I've ever had. The staff mentioned being audited by management leading to believe this owner doesn't care about anyone and only profit. Now I'll avoid all Subways around Bakersfield.
Had a bad review from 3 years ago deleted it to say this place is still horrible. Went in asked for lettuce they a quarter round size of lettuce asked for extra even offered to pay for the extra and was told they couldn’t do that it’s against store policy. Went to the Subway on Columbus and got exactly what I wanted.
I went 15 mins before closing time and the lady didn’t want to heat up my bread claiming that the toasters were turned off already .
You guys need to step your game up!! Waiting in line for 30 minutes when only 3 people are of front of me is ridiculous. Feeling like I’m at the DMV. Worst service known to man 😂 went in and was immediately greeted rudely, asked about my sandwich, options, cheese, and vegetables, rudely. i always ask for a light amount of mayo and mustard. Yasmin squirts a very large amount on my sandwich, and i politely state that is a lot of mayo, could we scrape some off. She then holds her hands out as if i asked for her first born child on a stake, and says she can’t control how much comes out, the bottles are made that way. i absolutely know they can control the amount seeing as how i come here often, and haven’t had mayo the size of a large python squirted on my sandwich. She scrapes it off with her hand as i tell her plenty of other subway workers can control the amount of mayo they squeeze, and she completes the transaction with an attitude worse than the one she had when i walked in. Yasmin should take a couple courses on customer service seeing as how she was the only worker up front.
When I walked in I was so ready for a sandwich. The lady was making an online order so I patiently waited. While she was making that order she had on no apron no hair net I believe be name was Vicki or something with a "v". After she was done she asked me what kind of bread I wanted but rudely interrupted and asked how many sandwiches I was going to be getting. We continue the order but as I was ordering she stopped put a paper over my open bread and left to go do something. A FLY went on my bread and I politely told her if I could have a different bread because that one had a fly she rudely said "of course it did" and through it away. At that point I just walked out because I patiently waited for a sandwich that I didn't even get.
My friend and I walked in and the girl at the counter ignored us didn’t say I will be with you or anything. Tonight was the worst customer service at this location as my friend had to ask the gentleman sweeping if anyone else could help us at the counter.
Only come here if you don't like toppings on your sub. Or like to repeat yourself over and again to get just a couple more pickles which still weren't enough. If this is a manager/ owners strategy to get a bad review and no return business it works. My kids saw that I was giving this place one star and asked me to do at least another because the ladies helping us were nice but I'm not going to.
Only one person working, only one kind of bread. Lettuce was old, employee said that's all they have. If they're gonna try to save money. They need to at least have them come in and overlap part of their shift to get their products stocked up and bread made. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE if you see this one employee. From what I can recall, she's a hispanic woman with long eyelashes. She also wore a shirt that said "The Boss" the day I was served. She was extremely rude to an elderly woman that was apparently speaking too quietly. When it was my turn, she kept insisting on default options for my sandwich and would prefer that I didn't choose what I wanted. On top of this, she didn't even ask me what I wanted on my subway club and just put lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. Luckily it's what I wanted but maybe the next person wouldn't have wanted that. Incredibly off-putting and terrible service from her. The others were friendly but this woman needs to be examined or reprimanded for her behavior and attitude.
Be prepared to become sick if you eat here. They serve raw bacon, uncooked steak, and frozen eggs. You will experience an upset stomach, bubble guts, bloating, and all types of indigestion eating food from this establishment. I regret walking into this restaurant, I regret ordering a breakfast sandwich from this franchise, and lastly I regret giving them my hard earned money. This Subway does not deserve you business. The only thing I appreciate is emailing the Regional Manager Jose. Through interacting with him, I learned exactly why this Subway location is so terrible. He is an incompetent leader and it shows from the top, all the way down to the employees. Don't waste your time here.

Worst Subway in Bakersfield. Ordered an hour before close and they were supposed to be hot sandwiches, but they turned off toasters so couldnt even cook my sandwiches. I called next day because they had closed by the time i got home and they said i needed to bring the sandwiches back. They wouldn’t refund me or fix the problem. Very rude customer service .
Do not eat here this place has not been properly clean throughout the day there's fingerprints all on the glass there's lettuce on the floor by the front of the cash register the dust on the counters and there's food in the slot where they slide your sandwich I did not see no young lady wipe anything off from customer to customer while waiting and I never seen no young lady washed her hands I even seen a lady come in to work she went in the back came in with a different shirt and proceeded probably the clock in on the register never seen her wash her hands. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER GOTTEN. I went in and the sandwich “artist” that helped me named ANA had the worst attitude. She was super rude trying to rush us to order when my boyfriend and I were the only people there and we were looking at our options. She burned my sandwich & was supper sloppy making the sandwiches and her attitude was so bad she legit threw the cheese back in all hard, acting hella childish and stupid. I definitely won’t be returning to this location. Ana should be fired or retrained on her customer service. Everything tasted like it was old too
Oh where do I begin? .. So this particular Subway has the best sandwiches with generous portions don't get me wrong. Today my sister and I stopped in and outside sitting on the curb was an elderly man and his tiny beautiful dog. It was 101° today in the dead heat with the no shade. We got out food and went to leave but asked the man if his lil dog had water.. He said no so I went back in and bought a bottled water and asked to BUY a lil bowl made for soup no matter the price. The lady told me unless I buy the soup for $3 dollars I cannot have the little 12¢ bowl. So I asked if she would just be generous enough to give it to me it's literally a paper cup she said no. So I went out to my truck and made the lil doggy a bowl for his water out of plastic.. A lil kindness goes so far, and she has absolutely zero. Sad day we live in... Hopefully she is never in a situation of needing to feed or water her animals..
Went in this subway store today and seen the girl counting money with her gloves on she had a lot bills in her hand because they were going to do a bank deposit, she didn't change her gloves after counting the money and stuck her hand in the lettuce and tomato and made her a sandwich so I walk out because that was nasty 🤢

My grandson said he loved Subway. I laughed and told him the food was gross. He insisted he wanted to get a sandwich from there. Well, he got sick from eating there, vomiting and all. He called the manager to let them know their mayonnaise was bad. She apologized and offered him a free sandwich....He said Heck no! No more! Next time he'll listen ti his grandma.
Rude Hispanic lady today tells me that there's a limit that I can put on my salad. She also has low comprehension and sometimes messes up on my order. I hope she gets fired but if not I'm never ever spending my money at this place ever again.

This subway is a mess. Two workers and one in the back on “break” named Vicky. when she returns still stayed in the back and didn’t help the other girl regardless of how long the line was! The lady in the front wasn’t wearing a name tag and was completely rude. She also didn’t care about her work pace and she was more worried about baking bread than making sandwiches to serve the customers. She made 3 different batches of bread during this time frame that we waited in line. To top it off when we get to finally making our sandwiches after waiting in line for 30 plus minutes she starts to make our sandwiches so lousy n hardly put any meat she then proceeds totells us we can’t get extra “veggies” that there’s a limit I told her I would pay for the extra and she still refused. I’ve never ever been to any subway that’s ever refused to add extra veggies. After 82$ worth of sandwiches paid for I will never return to this subway just because of the customer service and the horrible atmosphere this store had. Do not come here!

The lady with the butterfly and rosary tattoo on her right arm was being extremely rude as if she had a extremely long line when it was just me my self and I at the register and no one else here eating the food was alright can’t go wrong with subway but the customer service was crazy terrible and I’m never the type to complain about anything trust me first time I ever made a review on any Business

Every time I walk in, the place is a joke. The ingredients are never fresh it’s either yesterday’s scraps or they’ve already run out of half the basics. Honestly, I could make a better sandwich blindfolded at home for a fraction of the cost. The customer service is mediocre at best, but what do you expect? No one with any self-respect wants to work here, and it shows. The staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else, and it bleeds into everything they do.
My father has been going to this subway for 3 years and today he got laughed at for not knowing english. I am very upset how the workers treated him. Why take someone's order if u don't understand the person? Asked 4 a refund and they denied it. Asked for a supervisor and a manager & nothing Asked for the number to call and they gave me the wrong #. I guess u gotta know perfect English to go here.
I’ve gotten food from here twice and they have messed up and customer service has been terrible both times. I ordered turkey.. they gave me chicken. I ordered both sandwiches toasted, neither were toasted. Do they not read? I tried calling the store 5 times and no one answered. They don’t even have a business voicemail setup. No one with any self-respect wants to work here, and it shows. The staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else, and it bleeds into everything they do.
My father has been going to this subway for 3 years and today he got laughed at for not knowing english. I am very upset how the workers treated him. Why take someone's order if u don't understand the person? Asked 4 a refund and they denied it. Asked for a supervisor and a manager & nothing Asked for the number to call and they gave me the wrong #. I guess u gotta know perfect English to go here.
Worst subway in all of California. Employees refused to give women’s bathroom key. Even when you’re a paying customer.
Had a bad review from 3 years ago deleted it to say this place is still horrible. Went in asked for lettuce they a quarter round size of lettuce asked for extra even offered to pay for the extra and was told they couldn’t do that it’s against store policy. Went to the Subway on Columbus and got exactly what I wanted.
Older women with tattoos was so rude to us and treated us like a nuisance. She was busy talking to another customer and I think she got mad because we came in and she had to work. I usually don't get subway so I was unfamiliar with ordering, but I think you need to ask what size of bread you want before cutting right? She assumed i wanted a footlong and got mad because I told her I wanted a 6in not a footlong when she was about to add stuff to it. Her whole attitude and service was terrible.
If I could give it zero starts I would. The girls in front were slow. One of them was going back and forth from touching different things then peoples food WITHOUT CHANGING HER GLOVES we was going to the back grabbing stuff then touching peoples food I could not watch any longer. When I told her she was Contaminating the food by touching everything that wasn’t clean then coming back and touching food she looks es at me and said okay … like it didn’t matter to her. She literally needs to be fired !!! Disgusting
I went in to get a meal of the day which is only 6.99 and ask to make it the foot long which should have added up to 9.99 plus tax they charged me for a whole sandwich I didn’t get and made me pay 18 dollars and when I asked to speak to a manager they were in unprofessional and rude and still didn’t ring up the right amount the people who work there are basically immature and don’t know what they are doing they just try to put pocket money in overcharge. It’s the Mexican guy and the white girl with red black hair and tattoos.
I’ve gotten food from here twice and they have messed up and customer service has been terrible both times. I ordered turkey.. they gave me chicken. I ordered both sandwiches toasted, neither were toasted. Do they not read? I tried calling the store 5 times and no one answered. They don’t even have a business voicemail setup. Safe to say I will not being going here again.
Management mistreats customers and staff. I made the mistake of getting some sandwiches here and was given the worst experience of any Subway. I ordered a listed item and asked for all veggies only to find out they will only use the listed items making it the worst Subway sandwich I've ever had. The staff mentioned being audited by management leading to believe this owner doesn't care about anyone and only profit. Now I'll avoid all Subways around Bakersfield.
Came in with my son wanting to get some food, the lady at the counter was making a sandwich for the only other customer in there. No greeting, or acknowledgment of any kind. When she finally finished his sandwich (which took way longer than I would think it should) she said she would be with me in a minute and proceeded to make another sandwich. I’m not sure if someone was picking up a mobile order or if she was making it for herself/another employee but I saw three people behind the counter and not a single person cared to help. After waiting over 10 minutes I walked out. This is the first and last time I’ll ever visit this location. Take your business elsewhere.
