Buen ambiente, buen servicio, hemos venido varias veces y siempre hemos salido contentas. Siempre venimos al menú del dia, calidad y precio correcto, el proximo dia que vengamos haremos la carta. El local es poco ruidoso, entre las mesas se respeta la "intimidad".

Empezamos a comer y a cenar en este restaurante hace ya unos cuantos años, y ahora vamos todas las semanas. Es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos de la ciudad. El centro comercial Diagonal Mar es estupendo, con parking gratis. La comida en Casa Carmen está rica y en buena cantidad. Y el precio es correcto. Pero lo que hace este sitio especial, es el trato cercano y humano que entrega el personal de este restaurante. Me atrevo incluso a destacar a los actores principales que hacen esto posible: MELA: La mejor camarera que he conocido en mi vida, siempre atenta y pendiente de todo. DAVID: Amable y cercano en su puesto de encargado. Controlando y liderando la sala. JOSEF: Ahora ya como responsable del restaurante pero siempre pasando a saludar con una enorme sonrisa. Seguiré acudiendo todas las semanas y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

La atencion de iman increíble. la comida espectacular el servicio perfecto de denis también.Hemos celebrado un bautizo de 58 personas. A la hora de organizar a sido fácil. El menú tenía muchas variedades, todo lo que me comía estaba espectacular. Opciones vegetarianas y intolerancias súper bien señalizadas.

Desde que entras se respira un ambiente acogedor y elegante a la vez: una decoración cálida con toques tradicionales que invita a disfrutar cada momento. El local está pensado para ser cómodo, luminoso y espacioso, ideal tanto para comidas relajadas en pareja como para celebraciones en grupo. La ambientación combina madera, tonos cálidos y detalles mediterráneos que transmiten autenticidad. La música ambiental es suave, sin interferir con las conversaciones, creando un ambiente entre relajada y animada. El personal destaca por su profesionalidad y cercanía. Se anticipan a tus necesidades sin resultar intrusivos, recomendando platos según tus gustos y explicando los ingredientes con detalle. El servicio es ágil excepto en momentos de máxima afluencia, cuando se nota un ligero retraso — pero siempre con disculpas y soluciones inmediatas. La carta ofrece entrantes, arroces, carnes y pescados con enfoque mediterráneo, optan por menú del día de lunes a viernes . Destacando croquetas caseras, tablas de ibéricos y ensaladas mediterráneas y paella una especialidad que brilla por su punto exacto y sabor intenso. Si bien no es la icónica paella valenciana de Casa Carmela (Valencia), la versión aquí ofrece una textura sabrosa, que no decepciona. La atención al sabor ofrece una delicia. Los precios están en línea con la calidad: platos contundentes, ingredientes seleccionados y buen tamaño de ración. El equilibrio entre coste y sabor es uno de los valores más comentados entre los clientes. El menú incluye una selección de postres caseros muy apetecibles destacando la espuma de Nutella que se sirven en porciones generosas y con presentación cuidada. Además cuentan con una bodega variada que combina vinos locales y clásicos para combinar perfectamente con cada plato. En general, casa Carmen queda muy bien valorado por la buena calidad gastronómica por el servicio amable y profesional, ambiente acogedor y buenas raciones generosas y carta equilibrada. Puede que en algún momento el ritmo del servicio se resienta un poco, especialmente en cenas concurridas, pero el conjunto general deja una sensación muy positiva y de buen valor.

This restaurant was exceptional!!! The evening 4 of us elderly citizens got caught while dining in a torrential downpour with no umbrellas or anyway to prevent getting totally drenched in order to exit the restaurant and going to to get undercover and order a cab. The manager, despite a busy restaurant, escorted each of us one by one under his umbrellas to the under cover area where we could get a cab. It was over the top service and very moving in terms of a genuinely nice man. The food was great but this manager was phenomenal. Pretty good food, on the lower end of 20-30€ range if you stick to a main and a drink. I had the beef ravioli served on a pizza bread bowl, and while it was excellently prepared, wasn't that special. I had pizza but i was the close to being the worst. The dough isn’t properly prepared that resulted in a cracker like crust. It was also very thin and brittle. The toppings were okay but everything else was bad. I wouldn’t recommend eating pizza at this place

Let’s start with the good… beautiful decor, good and friendly service and amazing views. Now the bad… the food.. we order 3 different kind of pizzas and my kid got pasta bolognese… everything was really disappointing. Not flavor at all. Maybe for drinks is a great place to go, but not for food.

Second visit here, first time was excellent (4 star) Second terrible (1 star). Hence the 2 stars We were a table of 5 and 2 dishes took so long to come out everyone else had finished eating before they even arrived. Probably 45 minutes when the first carbonara took about 5 minutes and came with the starter breads. Two of us ordered the calzone which came out and was just a pizza, so be careful of that. It also said it was topped with spicy charcuterie, but it seemed to me it was mushroom rocket and cheese. Also despite being on the roof of the bullring in tourist town our waiter didn’t speak a word of English so the response to the “calzone” was just “no. Different” A friend ordered the pasta in the pizza basket, and received a bowl of pasta and after complaining then got a flat pizza dough. He had actually pointed to the picture when ordering, and did so again to say this isn’t the right order, but again, was told “no. separate”. 5 minutes later the table behind us received what’s pictured the photo?! Annoying as I had recommended to my group as being great but this time it wasn’t. Probably won’t risk a 3rd visit

The chef is so stingy on ingredients. At this price point it is a shame. Staff is nice and polite. Service is fast. Their house wine is delicious. Tasty and original recipes. But why do they have to be so stingy on the ingredients? First, there is no meat and almost no fish from all the menu. And on top of that, whatever interesting ingredients they have on their recipes, they barely put any of it all. Such a disappointment at this price. Their pizzas are ridiculously thin and the garniture is just as thin as well, so it just feels like you're eating a hard taco with almost nothing on it.

No había comido nunca aquí, pero había escuchado y leído muy buenas opiniones sobre la atención y el servicio. Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia no fue así. Es cierto que hubo un fallo por nuestra parte al modificar la reserva (finalmente éramos 14 personas), pero al llegar faltaban dos sillas y simplemente pedimos que las añadieran. La camarera se lo comentó a un compañero y su respuesta fue que “nos apachurráramos, que no era problema suyo” y que no iba a cambiarnos de mesa. Solo estábamos pidiendo dos sillas. Tampoco estuvieron pendientes de traer los dos platos, tenedores y servilletas para las personas que se incorporaron. Al pedir la comida, varias personas querían hamburguesa con pequeñas modificaciones. Íbamos diciendo los cambios por orden, pero la camarera se saturaba, ponía malas caras y hacía comentarios desagradables. El baño estaba sucio y, además, tuvimos que avisar de que había una cucaracha. En general, la atención fue pésima y la comida tampoco destacó especialmente. Lo que más duele es haber pagado 30€ por persona y salir con esta sensación. No volvería a repetir.

We ordered two pizzas and pasta. All of them arrived cold after a long wait. The pizza edges were empty and crumbled when cutting. The pasta was also almost cold. It seems there’s some issue between the kitchen and the waiters — dishes are left waiting, and the staff either doesn’t notice or simply don’t care. Overall, a disaster. I do not recommend this place.
