Pho Tay Bac Restaurant

I just ordered from this restaurant for the first time and it definitely will not be the last. I ordered a small pho with bbq chicken and meatballs Small pho with rare steak and brisket An order of egg rolls Thai tea Every single item was delicious. The broth tasted amazing, all of the meat was flavorful and good quality meat. The egg rolls were delicious and the Thai tea was perfection. I cannot wait to eat their food again.

Ive been to several Pho restaurants in the area, but this place has the best Phos. Interior isn't fancy, but it's clean. The owner, and the employees are really nice too. Highly recommend !

Pho and shaken beef are really good. Have gotten take out from this place several times and it's always really tasty. There's usually enough food to have leftovers the next day.

Very kind staff that are pretty urgent. Nothing fancy but their food is amazing. I'm always pleased with the food and service especially when I get takeout. The guys who work there are always quick to ask if I need anything else before I leave. Greatly appreciated!!

If you happen to be in Brea, make an effort to eat here. It is absolutely wonderful food, and the service is fantastic. Very kind, down to earth gentlemen who run this restaurant. I honestly can't speak more highly of Pho Tay Bac.

Pho is delicious combo number 1 all the way The sandwiches also good! Whichever pork or beef! Shrimp spring roll is always fresh

This place is soooo bomb, my favorite pho place and always the go-to! good service always and prices are great. We always get a large well done brisket pho and a side of extra noodles and broth. Then just switch around some noodles and broth to even it out and its like you have a large and a small, perfect for 2 people & only 10bux every time. Waiters are nice and attentive and theres RARELY a wait time. Even after your order food it usually arrives piping hot right away. Great every time. Try with lime, chili +oil and siracha!! My stomach always feels so great after and im sure the stuff is probably great for digestion. Go here !!

Ive been going here since i was a kid. They have high quality ingredients, great service, and affordable prices. Food comes quickly, hot, and fresh. They remember who you are and it feels like youre eating at home. Hands down the best phô resturant in all of orange county.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in North OC. I am fortunate to live in Brea and eat here almost weekly. Nothing cures a hangover better than rare steak pho add meatball! My mom had been hospitalized the last 2 weeks. My dad has never had food from Pho Tay Bac before and tonight was a first for him. He had the M1: Pan Fried noodle with veggies and steak. His smile is massive and he agrees the food is delicious! For his brief happiness, I will always love Pho Tay Bac.

Vietnamese restaurant has good Pho, rice dishes and egg rolls. Located left side of, Kumon, Tae Kwondo Studio and ballet dance studio. Great place to eat after tutoring or practice of the studio facility.

Good in the hood. This place is right in the neighborhood. Family run, no frills, basic eaterie atmosphere, food service and people are consistently good. Great when I want to get my pho on close to home.

Like coming here when I’m in the area. We don’t have good pho in Miami.

We were the only people inside the restaurant and the service was good. The phở was absolutely amazing! The broth was absolutely delicious, I always add chili oil because I enjoy spice when eating phở. I will say the meat was a little dry but overall delicious. I will be coming back!! 🧸

Good pho. The spring rolls were a bit dry. The bbq pork in the sandwich was good but it could use some more veggies like daikon radish or carrots.

I call ahead and when I get there my table is ready with my drink and condiments as I walk in. I always feel so welcome. They get my food out fast. The broth is a light brown and is always packed with flavor. I will always come back here. Best PHO EVER!! The BBQ Pork on the side is amazing. I have not found another sport with this flavor. The egg rolls are always hot and crunchy.

Growing up eating pho almost as a family weekend ritual, some say I may be a hard critique. If you consider yourself a pho-holic, pho-natic, or just phoking hungry, this spot is a MUST TRY when in Orange County. Spring pork rolls also make my tummy scream more peanut butter sauce please!

This is a restaurant I would frequent when I lived in the area. Veggie Pho is my personal favorite. I would usually order a BBQ chicken, or pork sandwich to go with it and a spring roll platter. Lemonade is freshly squeezed and super refreshing. I haven't been in years but I took advantage that I was in the area a couple days ago. Food is just as delicious as I remember which shows their consistency! 😋 Highly recommend this restaurant if you have the hankering for some hot 🔥 Pho.

The pho was ok. It's not the worst, but not the best. Very salty, and the veggies in my pho ga tasted old. The beef pho was ok as well However the homemade dumplings were light and tasty.

I've had pho at many places, and this was not a great experience. I was really hungry and in the area, so I read all the reviews and decided to try it. The staff was very friendly. I got my food to go. It was very salty. It didn't have the flavor of a great tasting broth. The broth was salty with no depth. The meat was not pleasant. The few little pieces that I got. I'm going to stick to my usual place, Bone and Broth.

No matter how important, an employee; especially an owner, should not be on their phone in the view of customers. Very unprofessional and unsanitary. $70 for 3 bowls of pho and some egg rolls, ingredient cost being no more than $10-$15. Pho is supposed to be cheap, if it’s going to be $20+ a person it needs to be a little bit better considering that you can get better quality for cheaper elsewhere. Restaurant is very run down and has that sticky feeling everywhere. Worth going once if you are in proximity but definitely not worth going out of your way for in this run down plaza. 2/5, would have been 3-4/5 if the daughter was not so useless

I was eating a bowl of noodles here and when I was almost done eating, I found a dead fly. The fly was hiding in the noodles so I kept eating until I found it. The cup smelled. The hygiene here is the worst. When I told the staff about it, the manager didn't even apologize to me.

Ordered Steak Pho via Door dash which is one of my favorite soups and a regular order of mine at other Pho restaurants. This was my first time trying this restaurant as it is close to my place of employment. Huge disappointment as the steak was rancid and smelled horrible. I called the restaurant who said they have nothing to do with Door dash and offered to give me 50% off my next meal.
