An authentic Italian gem in Busto Arsizio! We had an amazing experience at La Trattoria del Municipio. The atmosphere is warm and genuinely Italian, with that cozy local charm you can only find in traditional trattorias. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding — especially the fresh homemade pasta served with 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano. Best pasta ever. Every bite was full of authentic flavor and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend this place if you want a real taste of Italy and top-class service in a relaxed setting.

Such a cosy home style trattoria. I went alone here for lunch on Monday, I cannot speak Italian and the man (I think he is the owner?) couldn’t speak English but he were trying to make me feel at home by body language, the facial expressions and everything. The food was just great - I am so sorry that I couldn’t finish my second dish as I was too full. If Chef Lucia can see this review - hope you don’t get me wrong! 😭😭 It was my best choice to visit here for my last lunch in Italy, thanks for everything 😊

We chose this trattoria by chance, and found it to be homely and truly delicious. High-quality ingredients are expertly prepared by the chef, Lucia, to whom we extend our compliments. All the dishes are top-notch, especially the paccheri with fresh tuna, cherry tomatoes, and Taggiasca olives. Recommended.

Really good trattoria with amazing good and flavourable pasta! The service is really helpful with big smile and eager to help! We tried the pasta with pistachio and shrimps which was delicious, the pasta with parma sauce soooo good and creamy and pepe and cacio pasta which was super! We definitely love it and recommend it to anyone who wants to try super good authentic italian pasta!

A true spectacle!!!! An intimate place with seating for up to forty people. The owner and staff are truly kind and available to meet every customer's need. The food is truly excellent: homemade pasta and superb desserts. Prices are reasonable, and the wine list is excellent. If you want to eat well in a quaint setting, this is the place for you. A little gem in the heart of Busto Arsizio.

Bel locale. Molto curato ed il personale attento e gentile. L'unica pecca sono i prezzi tanto alti che non mi sento di giudicare in quanto alla fine ci ritornerei volentieri proprio per la bella atmosfera ed il buon cibo. Un primo, un antipasto, due filetti, un dolce, amaro, caffè, acqua e due calici in totale si è sfiorato i 100. Tutto sommato consigliato per seratine romantiche

Excellent restaurant, the food was truly delicious. The price of the individual dishes was in line with both the quality and quantity. The only thing that left us a little surprised was the price of the large platter (30 euros), perhaps a bit too much for the amount on it. When paying the bill, my husband asked for a second amaro, usually offered on the house, but instead we were charged for it... These are small things, but they're the ones that make the difference in deciding whether or not to return.

Pleasant, family-run restaurant offering land and sea dishes. They offer a lunch menu with the option to choose from the à la carte menu. Fairly attentive service. Classically furnished room with a beautiful wooden ceiling. Prices normal.

If you're a stranger, don't go there. The owner doesn't speak English, but looks nice and pleasantly. We ordered a lunch menu for a fixed price and the owner finally charged us each food separately, which he wanted to rob us. After a warning and a few recalculations, he corrected the price, but didn't drink even though it should have been included in the price.
