We had a glorious day on the bay in the capable hands of Captain Morgan and his skipper Jack, aboard the very comfy ’Whimsea’. We experienced all kinds of wind conditions, from ferocious to virtually none, and the crew took it all in stride. Our party of 7 ranged from 18 to 80 years of age, and all were very comfortable and well cared for by the crew. I highly recommend this charter company!

I was lucky enough to go out on a clear sunny day so I got to see a TON of the Bay Area in a way I normally wouldn’t be able to. I learned a lot about sailing and felt very welcome on board. Conservation was never dry. It wasn’t too long and it wasn’t too short: just the right amount of time on the water. Overall, it was a very fun trip. Thank you!

Great, customized tour of the bay for visiting family and friends with Captain Lauren and Captain Morgan. Saw loads of wildlife (porpoises, seals, and birds galore) and the variety of marine activity on the Bay. Both captains are passionate about sailing and knowledgeable about the area. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the level of service provided. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous time with Captain Morgan and co-Captain Lauren on a leisurely sail on the bay and up the Sacramento Delta. Both Capt Morgan and Lauren are SO experienced, friendly and interesting. Great stories! Also, Lauren is totally on top of all safety issues and always offered chances for us to learn more about sailing and/or navigating (if we wanted). The boat is AMAZING! So comfortable and beautiful. The interior is wood-paneled, with comfy cushions and pillows, and plenty cool if it is a hot day. I HIGHLY recommend Captain Morgan's Sail Charters for anyone wanting to enjoy a magnificent outing on the bay.

Gers and I were lucky enough to sail our beautiful bay on a beautiful boat and on a perfect day. But this is such a wonderful boat, so comfortable that even on a less than perfect day we would have been happy. We were asked where we wanted to sail and Captain Morgan and his able crew took us everywhere we were curious about. We had a good look at the old buildings on Angel Island from the boat. Lunch was delicious and in the lee of the wind. We motored and we sailed. And it is important to mention that the bathrooms aboard were perfectly modern, a not insignificant feature.

There were 7 of us on board on for a glorious ride through Racoon Straits and around Angel Island on a recent Sunday afternoon. Five of us were older than 80 and there to celebrate the 90th birthday of a fellow sailor. We had no trouble boarding and disembarking, and the Whimsea's wide beam and commodious cockpit made us very comfortable. Captains Morgan and Joelli, with combined experiences of more than 50 years sailing on the Bay, guided the ship effortlessly, and regaled us with stories about sailing, the environment, and the Bay. A special treat, which may not be available on other charters, was that "the crew" (including our 90 year old) were able to take the wheel.
