Good, standard McDonald's. It took 3 minutes or so to get my breakfast sandwich, but that just shows how spoiled I've gotten with almost instantaneous service at other locations.
What happens when there's so many McDonald's and I've never had a fresh bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. Everything is so fresh. It's 10:34 and they're about to stop making breakfast 🥞🍳. I will definitely come to this location. The lady at the intercom told me to go to the second window, the cashier at the first window retrieve my food so she could give it to me at the first window. They also have really good customer service.
This is one of the greatest McDonald’s of all time in terms of speed, food quality, and friendly staff. Their drive through is the most efficient McDonald’s drive through I’ve ever seen. The employees are also friendlier than the average McDonalds. Food quality is good.
It is Bsicly a self-service restaurant. Order from 4 different computer stations swipe your card then you wait 3 to 5 minutes. Food is hot & taste great.
Safety Concerns for Families with Children – Needs Immediate Attention I visited this McDonald’s location at 1000 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202 around 10:00 PM with my child after an evening walk in downtown Dallas. My child loves McDonald’s, so we decided to stop by for a quick meal. However, upon arrival, I noticed a large number of homeless individuals gathered both outside and inside the restaurant. During our short time there, I witnessed verbal arguments escalating into physical altercations, involving the security guard on site. This was my first time visiting Dallas as a tourist, staying at a hotel in the heart of downtown, and I expected to feel safe in such a central, well‑known area. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uneasy and concerned for our safety. The situation felt chaotic, unsafe, and intimidating — especially for families with young children. My child was frightened, and I was genuinely concerned for our well‑being. While I understand homelessness is a complex social issue, it is the responsibility of the store management to ensure a safe and welcoming dining environment for all paying customers. I strongly urge McDonald’s management to take immediate steps to improve security and the overall customer experience at this location. This could include: • Increasing the presence of trained security personnel during evening hours. • Coordinating with local authorities to reduce unsafe loitering in and around the restaurant. • Implementing clear policies to ensure customer safety and comfort inside the dining area. McDonald’s is a globally recognized brand, and I believe most customers — especially families — expect a safe, clean, and friendly environment when they choose to dine here. I hope the management addresses this issue promptly so this location can become a place where customers feel comfortable bringing their children, even during later hours. I look forward to seeing improvements in the near future.
I rated this place a 5 Star because of my own personal experience. Compared to other McDonald's I have been to and the general experience of a typical McDonald's, this place far exceeded my expectations. I expected something worse than what I experienced. The location is nice, easy to locate and easily accessible. I did notice a couple of homeless people around the Area and some of them even came inside the Restaurant to buy food but the did make any trouble or bother anybody. They just simply buy their food and leave
I recently visited this McDonald’s and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was clean, and the food was fresh. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I would definitely return.
Friendly and fast service when I went inside to pick up an order I’d placed in the app while I was pumping gas at the Chevron. The WiFi is a bit funky.
Given the circumstances around the area, they could be a lot worse, so credit is given. However... and this is understood by MANY who pass through THIS specific locstion: STOP half way filling the fry boxes! No, other locations FILL the boxes. This one will SPREAD the fries in a box, and when you notice, they intentionally put only half way filled. They acting like they get to take home the stock when they clock out or something.
Visited this location one time. There were a lot of people in the lobby waiting to receive their orders. Staff seemed friendly and what appeared to be the security guard was assisting with orders. Food was hot and fresh.
I’m still baffled as to why I have to pull up to a parking spot when there is absolutely no one behind me. It’s completely inefficient. Also… Difficult to get in and out of the parking lot as it shares lot with gas station.
The employees are great. But as customers, we dont like the apps, and the kiosks, and all that jazz. Ordering my lunch from a human being is fine (and faster, the kiosk process is SO slow)

I still like a Big Mac, and I was not disappointed here. I noted all the new things on the expanded menu.
Let's start off with the atmosphere, it's Dallas, TX, therefore it's automatically 1 star. Especially since it's downtown. The food is terrible. They never make it fresh. The fries always suck. The burgers are always old. The food is almost always cold. Or all of the above.
Little to no parking spaces at times. Made an order online so that I can just pick up my food. Get told to park in the front. No where to park. Had to drive around to get back in line. thought that was the whole point of putting an ONLINE order. On top of that, wrong order.
Order #323 placed and paid for 1006pm, received at 1025pm. 4 people ordered and paid for their food after me and received their order before me. The fish meal was okay, fries okay. The drink was much better than the food. The cashier thought he was a comedian, telling the security lady I told him I didn't want my mocha drink, this silliness only delayed my order further. It was nonsense.

There are no prices listed on products. If you want the cheapest water, you have to take every bottle up there to find out which one that would be. I told them I wouldn't stop there again.
I have been coming here for 3 years and I have always enjoyed everything for the most part. Tonight when I said to the lady who was slightly overweight with grey hair I said “thank you and God bless you” and she just looked at me and said “no”. Good food but for someone in the drive through to behave like that makes me want to stop going to this location sorry

Worst McDonald’s I’ve been to. Ate in the parking lot and it was already ice cold. Cheese wasn’t melted, don’t think they even heated it up. Also got an apple pie and it was a birthday cake pie inside. And forgot my sauce.

By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to first off my French fries they were half full I ordered a large half full then they were cold and chewy like they've been sitting there for a while can I take one bite of my chicken sandwich it tastes rubbery and cold did my chocolate chip cookies not fresh at first I was going to let it slide but when I got to the chicken sandwich I just was unhappy I walked all the way down the street from the hotel the whole meal was cold and unfresh so I went up to the front to say something hoping they would apologize and give me fresh food like they should have and said the lady copped a problem and said that I had ate and half all of the food the fries were half empty in the first place I was going to let it slide after I ate some fries one bite I deserve hot fresh food in the first place in the first place one bite of a sandwich so I left with cold food that was chewy and old they didn't replace it they were rude and have the worst customer service ever I wouldn't suggest anybody going to this McDonald's they try to get your food out to you so fast they don't even care if it's new they just give you old stale food

Everything about this place is really bad. The play area was sweltering, the tables were dirty and no one cleaned them, someone spilled sauce on the floor and they just put up a warning sign but never cleaned it up, there are only two bathrooms in terrible condition and people stay there for ages. My daughter needed to use them and couldn't. Plus, they ordered Oreo ice cream and it tasted like spoiled milk. It was a really unpleasant experience and my little one wanted to go to McDonald's to eat and play. It was the worst choice.
I understand New Year’s eve in Downtown Dallas is a tough task, and I feel for all the workers who were trying to get food to customers quick. The low rating comes from the low skilled so called security guard who worked last night, his name “e owens”. For a security guard he was paying more attention to his phone than the people he’s paid to be watching! He was rude to people in line and got physical to the point of pushing them, PREGNANT WOMEN IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT WERE PUSHED AND ASSAULTED BY THIS MAN. The lack of professionalism was astounding, I wouldn’t trust this guy to watch rice cook. Do better!
I placed an order for pickup, on Apple Maps hours say 12am, on google they say 10:30pm I placed my order at 10:08pm pulled through the drive thru and all screens were black and no workers. Hopefully they don’t take my money but 1 star all around for lack of communication and poor ownership.
I ordered at this location yesterday. I got an online order. I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder with fries and nuggets. When I got my food it was cold undercooked and the soda the coke flavor the taste was off. Not only that the next day Im throwing up, using the bathroom. Found out I have food poisoning and the taste overall wasn't good the whole order from the Burger to the fries and nuggets. My overall experience was not good and definitely if I'm ever in town will not come here. I'm traveling from Georgia to California and I have to sit on the bus and deal with food poisoning. I definitely would like my money or something to compensate my experience. Who do I talk to??
I arrived by bus at 12:15AM and have a few hours for my transfer and noticed the dining room was closed and tried to place an order at the drive thru window and was refused. I think that's just ridiculous to refuse a paying customer because they are not in a vehicle.
Count your days mcdonalds! I paid to have bacon added to my fish filet and you put tomatoes! 2 dollars for something I didnt even receive! Worst experience ever! We placed a prior online order at 4:30 am 10/19/2025, and the workers ignored us at the speakers for 10 minutes. We then pulled up to the first window, where we made eye contact with the woman working who gave us a nasty side eye. We tried to get her or any other employees attention (there were two other workers as well) and they all deliberately ignored us (even though they had headsets on for the drive thru too!). We waited another 10 minutes at the window trying to get anyone to serve us (we literally ordered 1 drink. It's not like we ordered anything complicated). Us and a few others ended up just pulling away and giving up on our food, which is absolutely ridiculous since this establishment is supposed to be open and serving for 24 hours. Rudest McDonald's employees I've ever seen.
Most of the staff is foreigners who claim they don't speak English when clearly they do. They have the bathrooms blocked off constantly. Even if you're dining in you're not allowed to use the bathroom. Some huge evet was going on and the door was blocked. I asked one of the workers who was a foreign male what was going on and he said IN ENGLISH that he doesn't speak English. I said you're clearly speaking English right now and asked him the same question then he tried flirting with me calling me baby IN FRONT OF MY HUSBAND!! I shot that down and asked one last time then he threatened me. I will never take my husband or recommend this place to anyone. The staff is awful and rude. They need to replace everyone in that place. They need to learn how to treat paying customers with respect.
I am writing to share my recent experience at the McDonald's located at 1000 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75202. I visited onSunday, July 6 2025 Unfortunately, the service I received was significantly below the standards I normally expect from McDonald's. My primary concern was the extremely slow service. After placing my order at the counter, I waited for over 20 minutes for a simple 2 coffee and an ice cream. During this time, I noticed that the staff seemed disorganized, and several other customers who ordered after me received their food first. This long and frustrating delay was very inconvenient as I was on a tight lunch break. In addition to the wait, the interaction with the staff was not pleasant. When I politely inquired about the status of my order after 15 minutes, the employee I spoke with was dismissive and did not provide a clear update, simply saying it was "coming." The general atmosphere felt stressed, and there was no apology or acknowledgment of the significant delay from anyone on the team. I understand that the downtown location can be busy, but the lack of efficiency and the impersonal service were very disappointing. I hope this feedback can be used to improve staff coordination and customer service training at this specific restaurant. I have always valued McDonald's for its speed and reliability, and I sincerely hope this location can make the necessary improvements. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Restaurant was dirty. Staff was not friendly or helpful. Waited an incredibly long time to simply get 2 iced coffees and an ice cream cone, despite people with food who ordered long after us getting served. Iced coffee was not made correctly and the ice cream cone was leaning and melted. Iced coffee was also full of grounds. Definitely wouldn't waste my time going back
