Best Bar in Dana Point hands down. The owner is super cool. The vibes are great. Feels like home. There’s a tonnn of pool tables. This place is packed on the weekends but it makes it that much better. 10/10 recommend! & not only that, but the foooood OMGGGGG it’s soooooo good. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Especially when ur drunk it’s still soooo dank. Anyway, I will forever stand on this being my favorite bar. 🩷 Thanks for being the best!

I’m in a pool league and we played at the Blue Dolphin. This place has plenty of parking and all the tables are in very good condition. They have big tables and also small bar room sized tables. The owner is always behind the bar and he very friendly and will make you good drinks. They also have very good food here. I highly recommend the Blue Dolphin.

I stopped by here for a minute to visit a friend shoot some pool on the weekend, but it was really quiet and didn’t try the food. The service was good and atmosphere was pretty chill.

It was a good place to play a few games of pool. The juke box was nice. The restrooms were clean. Parking was great free lot. Inside is painted in a Miami vice purple and aqua paint with dark blinds. The place is dark inside. Only the light over the pool table is use were on. They have lottery machine kiosk and paper slips there. We will return to play again.

I’m from out of state and I play at a high level. Tables are straight but house cues are well used, table felt was well used and filthy dirty, but no holes or rips. 6 racks in and my bridge hand fingers were black. I don't think the balls have ever been polished. Staff and patrons friendly. Overall disappointing.

Literally trash we walked in visiting from Virginia and he was like sorry we don’t take Virginia licenses. Super rude and disrespectful. Never come here

If I could give zero stars, I would. The Blue Dolphin has the absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. From the moment I walked in, I felt judged, unwelcome, and outright disliked. The atmosphere is cold, and the staff somehow make it colder. The person who answers the phone? Easily one of the rudest, most unprofessional individuals I’ve ever encountered. They clearly have no business working in hospitality and should be fired immediately. It’s baffling how a place that calls itself a restaurant/bar can function with this level of disrespect toward its customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your time, your money, and your patience go literally anywhere else.

Walked into to the place and my boyfriend took a photo…the owner proceeded to freak out and demand to LOOK through my boyfriend’s photos and have him delete the one picture he took. He claimed we were taking photos of “clients” which is a weird thing to call your customers. The waitress there also looked about 16 years old, despite her clearly serving alcohol to adults. Outside of this, the place was dirty, gross, and generally unpleasant.

Cool concept, terrible terrible service from the bartender. I don’t know how this man gets away with treating the PAYING customers that way. Such a shame since we went out for a night out to celebrate my husbands birthday. So many things went wrong the moment we got there. We didn’t finish our drinks that we ordered because we didn’t want to sit in this establishment any longer.

They said that they had let in underage customers and got busted for allowing fake IDs, and therefore can no longer allow legal, of age patrons in simply because they are not from California.

The bartender acted like we were invisible and took other peoples orders that arrived there after us. We finally ordered and got our drinks. We ordered a pitcher of beers and was not given any glasses to pour it into. One of our cards did not work because it had a crack in it, we handed him another card and when he was done with the transaction he freaked out and yelled at us, literally screamed in our face as loud as he could. So unprofessional and rude. I am a bartender myself and would never ever do that to someone, how embarrassing. Do NOT go to this place.

Played here last night and had a fun time. Came back tonight and he (same owner id anssume) asked for all of our ID’s again and rejected my younger sister who recently turned 21. Said, “She looks young and we don’t need your business”. We offered to bring the cops to verify and he said, “we don’t need them here”. Sketchy…
