Pulled up, placed my order through the intercom, and had my food brought straight to my car—classic drive-in style. The burgers were decent, but the tater tots and cherry limeade stole the show. The service was quick, but sometimes they forget small things like napkins or sauces. Prices are fair, and it's a fun spot for a quick bite. The atmosphere is nostalgic, but the parking lot can get a little messy at times. If you're craving fast food with a bit of old-school charm, this is a solid choice

We came to sonic on a Sunday night. Of course we choose a time where most of the streets had no power. We get to Sonic around 8:12 and placed our order.its pretty cool after placing our order at the bottom it shows the food is cooking and once it's done it shows it's ready so our food came out at 8:29. I recommend the soft pretzel and mozzarella sticks. The French toast sticks were a little dry. My daughter liked the strawberry slush. Overall it was something different then your normal drive threw. We will be back to check out more of the menu.

I ordered ahead through their app, and it still took about 10-15 minutes for someone to bring out my food after i got there. The wrap I ordered was a mess, and the diet cherry limeade tasted like had too much lime and/or Stevia. I would not recommend it.

My girl and I ordered the shakes which are usually real good. Both of us were unable to enjoy them at all they were so thick It was like eating ice cream with straw ,impossible. So what we did is we put them in the freezer I had kept my receipt and in the morning took them back and presented them with my receipt. They were more than happy to refund my money. They're usually real creamy and good but not this time. You might have better luck and give them a positive review on their shakes but I can't.

I haven’t been to Sonic for a very long time. I heard that you can park and order from the menu, but I decided not to do that and go through the drive through. They don’t have a dining room, but just the kitchen. I ordered a medium combo, but the fries seem to be more of like a small size than a medium. Pretty much the food is mediocre just like any other fast food restaurant. I don’t really get the hype of this place. Everything here seems to be outdated in atmosphere and probably needs to get renovated. It’s like they never changed it for decades. Not sure if I really wanna come back, but I think SONIC used to be good here. Seems like everything went downhill.

Not a good location. The service is terrible always long wait times and the people who work there don’t seem to care about anything. Not recommended. whoever is managing this place should be ashamed of themselves and their whole staff needs to be fired. I visited on Presidents’ Day Around 2:30.

Something needs to be done about this place. Terrible service waited 35 mins on presidents day mid afternoon for a small order. Unfortunately this is the only sonic around but will not be coming here again. Highly not recommended. The staff needs to be fired and maybe management as well because the customer service and the presentation of the food is just not cutting it 0/10

Food's fine, service is fine. The credit card scanners outside are compromised. You will have your money stolen. The business obviously has no security. DO NOT USE THE OUTDOOR CREDIT CARD MACHINES.

Stop! Stop! Stop! WARNING! DO NOT USE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD at this location. They have just in 1/12/2026 fraudulantly charged two of my cards that I have used there over a year ago. Now I have to go thru all the security crap because of these DAM thieves. I'm contacting store manager and corporate to report and complain and of course social media to warn/inform everyone about this place.

I visited this store around 4:00 PM with my daughter to order food. We ordered #1, and I paid using my ATM card. Later that evening, at 10:00 PM, I checked my bank account and noticed I had been charged for two meals instead of one. I called the store several times, but no one answered, so I drove there in the rain to resolve the issue in person. When I arrived at the drive-thru, an employee assisted me. I explained that I had been overcharged, but he did not believe me and told me to contact my bank instead. I asked why I should contact my bank when the mistake was made by the store. I requested to speak to the manager, and the employee claimed he was the manager. He then told me there was nothing he could do, shut the window, and took my receipt. I honked to get assistance, but no one responded and they just acted as if I wasn't exist. I felt extremely frustrated and vulnerable, as I showed him both the receipt and my bank statement, but he still did not initially resolve the situation. Eventually, he returned to the window and said, “I will give you your money.” Had this been done at the outset, the problem could have been avoided. This experience was very disappointing, especially as a regular customer, and I am deeply concerned about how customers are treated at this location.

Drove an extra 40 minutes out of my way to try and remember what a guilty pleasure of indulging in heavy fast food, ordering everything from the healthy idea options chicken wrap, best of the whole experience but tasted exactly like the ones at a hospital or any other establishment. The Frito chilli wrap was so disappointing,felt missing of a Middle and more. Smash burger no combos almost 8 bucks makes me regret not going to chillis where fre refills are possible,over all not going back and this is the beginning, I paid extra for kids burgers to add cheese okay no big deal until it came with no cheese plus the extra ingredients I asked for plain, so they ask for the other one back without a replacement after several minutes, then after the whole ordeal asked for a refill for being stuck an extra 10 min to no refill. Won't come back

Im from san francisco and I passed through Hayward to visit family. My best friend and I stopped by since I love sonic. When the girl handed us our drinks one tipped over and leaked into our car and we had to ask for a new cup holder.. When I got home and started eating my toffee blast. I bit into paper halfway through it. There were 2 straw wrappers blended into my blast. We also didn't get 4 sauces I literally paid for. This was not a good experience and I love sonic. I called to make a complaint but got a bust signal for 30 mins. I want a refund after literally eating paper in my ice cream.

I usually would go here and there for my Sonic needs from time to time as it's the closest, I think today marks the last time I'm ever coming here to this location. I come here around 8:10 as I placed an online order. Once I arrived here, it's packed, though no big surprise as I been here before when it was packed. We buzz the red button to let them know we're at the stall. They don't come out until 8:37. My brother got everything on his order correct, but the way they packed my 3 piece tender was extremely sloppy and lazy, as if they threw everything into the bag along with my fries. It was also unusual because it's supposed to come in a box. They were also missing my onion rings and toast. After noticing this, we buzz them again saying what we missed. They come back out around 8:41 and went back in and promise to come back out in 5 minutes. 5 minutes passed and they have not yet come out. Ofcourse I was getting impatient despite me trying to understand how busy it was. It was just lack of communication that done it for me. At this point I was just going to leave and ask for a refund some other time. 9:05 they FINALLY came out with the box. I've about had it. I opened my box and they yet butchered my order once more. I didn't ask for tater tots at all as I modified mine to have fries. The food was cold as is. If we hadn't buzzed once more, they would've just kept it. The chicken was dry too! As someone who worked in the food industry before, communication is key. Don't say you'll bring it out in 5 minutes when you come out in damn near an hour just to get 75% of my order right. As much as I do feel bad, this was unacceptable, really- it is. This place is ran by teens who need a little more training.

I hate to do this because I am a very patient person but my order experience with this sonic was RIDICULOUS. I WAITED 1 HOUR AND 15 MINS to receive my order. Wanted to come here after a basketball game and drove into stall #12. Took about 12 minutes to get someone on the speaker. (I get it, they were busy) After the guy took my order I waited about 20 minutes and I saw the cars that pulled up to the stalls after us leaving one by one. So, I pressed the button again to follow up with my order. The same guy answered and asked what I ordered. While I was stating my order, the guy quickly said " It should he on the way" and hung up before I was able to finish the order. As a previous employee here, I wouldve checked if the order was inputted and if it was not, I wouldve taken the order again and apologized. Waited another 20 minutes, assuming that they received it. When I saw the drive thru empty and a lot of the stalls were vacant, thats when I decided to go up to the front and talked to a worker. The worker then told me that It was not ordered at all. She then told me to re order again and they will express the food out. Went back to stall 12 and took about 10 minutes! 10 minutes to answer. On top of all the waiting, My order was also wrong but, I already wasted enough of my energy and time so I decided to leave. This place used to be a nice family drive-in with a drive thru, trying to stay away from being a fast food type restaurant. But let me tell yall, this aint even a fast food restaurant with how long I had to wait. Lol Management, If you see this, Please do something because If this was someone else and not me, one of your workers will not have a pleasant rest of their day.
