They take excellent care of their customers. I went there and asked them something that was promotional and they made it with my help and weren't even mad or anything. Excellent work everyone. Keep up the good work.
VERY HELFUL STAFF IN DRIVE THRU!!!
Place was clean, person took his time to take order, we didn't feel rushed and he answered all of our questions. During our dine in he came and asked if we were doing okay and if we need anything else.
Drive thru employee was super friendly. Food was hot and fresh! Wait time was minimal even though there was a line. Unfortunately the system went down as soon as my transaction cleared so they had to close briefly. They handled the situation well in my honest opinion! Great job guys!
I went there today around 5:30pm and it was pretty busy but the young gentleman in the drive-thru were so polite and courteous and made my food in a timely manner. I was just amazed how nice they were because sometimes at fast food restaurants (like the Burger King on Randall Rd. near Target) they act as if you’re bothering them and you can’t even get a simple “Hello”. But I was very happy when I left and I hope their management sees this and rewards them. BTW the new fried cheese chalupa is 🔥🔥🔥!
The gentleman running the drive-thru was excellent. He has a good eye for detail and great listening skills. He is fast and friendly and the food is excellent! If he is not in management, he should be.
The highlight of our visit to this location was Layandre, who was so friendly, funny, and accommodating. We tried to order a blue raspberry freeze but he recommended the watermelon berry and gave us a small sampler which sealed the deal. It was so damn delicious, I’ll still be thinking about it when we return to Canada.

Great service all the time , food is delicious all the time and fresh! i always get the tacos supreme one thing tho i recently tried the red gatorade for the first time a few months ago that gave me the worst stomach bug soo dont try that but everything else is 10/10 . Ive been going here for years
Taco Bell has really improved over the years. It was very tasty, not at all greasy and had no ill affects from the tasty food as I did in years past. Love the $5.00 grab boxes. They switch them up, and there is a nice variety & include a drink.
Visiting Etown for a few months and I find myself eating here often while running errands. I could choose somewhere else to eat but I'll keep coming here since James is such a wonderful person to encounter during my day, he has an amazing vibe you don't find everywhere. James is an asset to the company and I hope this young man is treated well by his employer. I was thrilled to learn he is in training to become management. Taco Bell, please pay this young man's tuition and compensate him well; he's going to be great for you to have around.
Always will love Taco Bell. I am a super healthy eater and picky with my food and their Veggie options are my favorite. However I also order Beef, even though some people actually believe the hype "Taco Hell"...It's really not bad and everyones body is different when it comes to how your body reacts to the foods we eat.
Very good quality and speed was okay. We were eating inside and I watched the manager go out and clean the parking lot. This is dedication and I give kudos for the example to the fact that he was demonstrating a fundamental business model of he wouldn't ask an employee to do something he wouldn't do himself. We are all in this business together.
So I've been living in Elgin for quite sometime this Taco Bell became my regular Taco Bell I can see that there's been many changes in the staff. you guys have been putting in hard work all I have to say is that whoever was working today January 5th 2023 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. you are the real MVP ...my chicken burrito was amazing huge overstuffed ..... I called you guys on the phone to thank you but you guys don't have a voicemail.... just want to say keep doing what you do ....you're amazing
Taco Bell is hands-down, the best fast food place compared to all other major chains. I only gave three stars for atmosphere because I missed the Taco Bell of the 90s.
I'm grateful for this Tacobell. Ever since I chose to go vegetarian I come here when I don't feel like cooking. It's pretty often! Nothing can beat two warm bean burritos. The staff has always been respectful to me. Leslie and Ashanti are the two that I interacted with the most but they are all wonderful. Keep spreading that LOVE!
Fernando at the drive-thru is going to go places he is definitely awesome very attentive to your order asks you if you need anything else and promptly get where are you you're going which is out of the drive-thru Taco Bell is truly blessed to have an employee like Fernando

I had a good experience here today. I stepped away to order on the mobile app and the manager asked if I needed to order. Also the food was hot and delicious! Quick time too. Will come back for sure
We go here pretty often for the Mexican pizza meal as well as some of the others. The drive thru staff is always very friendly and helpful.
As for Taco Bell, this has become one of the most efficient I've seen. At lunch time I barely chose my drink before my order was ready. Can I rate Taco Bell five stars?
I tried the monthly box deal meal. It was okay. Nothing special. This location is one of the less impressive places in the area. The line is a little longer usually, and the wait is a bit longer. Again, not the worst, but could use some improvement. The drive thru is tight, and needs work.
Love the Chili, baked potato and chocolate frosty. For under $7.00. Have a funny story ! One day I ordered the Chili and there was no beans in the Chili. Loved it! Staff is always friendly.

Taco Bell prices have gotten outrageous. This used to be the place to go for quick cheap meals! Better food costs less than this now.
Your normal run-of-the-mill Taco Bell. It's clean, cheap and fast. I've had problems with orders in the drive thru, which they'll happily fix, but the service is a bit slow, so if you have to get back in line, it'll take a while.
It's TB food, so it's the same as if you were getting it at any other TB. Staff is polite and friendly. However, their hours are a different story. You never know when this place is open or closed. Sometimes, the place is closed super early. If in doubt, go to the TB on McLean and Big Timber; that place is consistent with their hours. I'd agree with how slow the DT service can be sometimes.
Everything it’s good and fine but the food it’s bad
The food taste was ok, but prices increased AND barely anything in the taco shell! WHERE'S THE BEEF!! Shrinkflation at a higher cost - double dipping the public.
The food is hit or miss. What I mean by that is sometimes the food is good, but it sometimes it can just be nasty. They seem to be lacking in the beans department. They are poorly managed with people waiting in the drive thru up to 25 minutes. It's ridiculous. I love Taco Bell. If you can go to the one on Rt 59 and Irving Park in Streamwood. So much better managed.
Drive thru was a mess. Couldn't get order right then gave me someone else food and had to return it and wait.
Taco bells prices have gone way up. It's overpriced like crazy. What a few years ago only cost me a few bucks, now costs 20 bucks. I used to go here a couple times a week. Now I only go here once every few months, and its only because of the price.
Dining room floor was sticky near the beverage station. The food I ordered was very messily prepared and left the outside of the tortillas soggy and covered in meat and cheese.
The sitting area was filthy and the window seals had dirt all in them. The cashier was rude and didn't even say hello. The food was good. While I was waiting two separate guys wanted to order and they waited for about 10 minutes for someone to help them. Finally a cook came and helped.
This is probably one of the worst taco bell ive ever been at. If the workers dont want to be there. Send them home. Food is poorly cooked and folded. This was trash honestly. Get better management.

First of all i waited 30 mins for my food. Second of all i ordered 2 steak quesoritos &got 2 beef &they charged me for 3... Horrible. Person at the window didnt even give an apology for the wait or even a hello...
I pulled through two and a half hours before closing and I was asked if I had a mobile order or Door Dash. When I said I didn't I was told they weren't taking orders.
Everytime I eat here I always end up getting an upset stomach, and feel nauseous afterwards. Also one of the stickiest floors I've ever stepped on. Please train your staff to be more sanitary.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I've been her 3 times & all three times my order has been wrong. But today I was the only person in the drive thru and still had to wait a while once I got my food my order was wrong when I went back to get the correct order yet again my order was made wrong and the workers started complaining once I noticed it was wrong again. Ended up just leaving, customer service is horrible here just a waste of time. Never coming back to this location.
Legit waited in line for 20 min in the drive through, no apology and the worker was sitting there eating food, 3 cars left one truck pulled over the curb and left. They had 1 kid making food while the rest hung out. You guys stink.
Me and my wife both got sick from here we ordered food and ended up vomiting and had bad stomach cramps for days because of it. And days after a few more friends of mine ate there and got sick and there 5 year old daughter got very ill from eating at this Taco Bell. Do not eat hear.
Terrible customer service! Got our order wrong 3 times and they literally just laughed about it while making it. Didn't even apologize about it. Also they asked us to give the food that was wrong back which is fine but during the pandemic you probably shouldn't take it back.
I think its time to part ways with the Bell. I can't justify spending $17 on three chicken tacos with lettuce (missing the lettuce) only, a side of sludge and beans, along with a side of flavor-free rice and a medium drink. I'll just get Chipotle for less money and better/more food.
This review is for the one on Randall in South Elgin. It won't let me add another bad review my last one is from. 5 months ago. I went door locked tells me to go around. No sign on the door. Then I get to the window, they told me to go to front door and they would bring it to me. It was an online pick up. The. I get back to work and they gave .e the wrong order. Close the South ElgiN LOCATION TRASH SERVICE EVERY TIME!!!!
This location has never once gotten an order correct even on just regular menu items without modifications. Ingredients are missing or are poor quality at times. Never received an order from here without a mistake.

Food is fine, but the service is so slow. 30 minutes to get to the speaker to order and I was only three cars away. Another 15 minutes to drive away. I won't go back. I'll go to the one further north and get home faster.
I have given them several chances however this is absolutely the slowest "fast food" establishment in the history of the world. If you attmept their drive thru service you WILL spend at least 30 minutes in line and your order WILL be missing something(s)
Poor customer service. Staff will almost yell at you if you ask about the status of food. Also had a pick up order, waited half an hour with them assuring me it was being made. After the 30 minutes they realized they hadn't even started it.
I have no clue how this tacobell location is still open. I purposely drive an extra mile to a different tacobell for these reasons, Orders always come late, orders are not worth the wait because they always come sloppy/not properly prepared, orders come out wrong and the overall vibe is not enjoyable. Please attempt to hire employees that have an actual work ethic.

This place is the best Slow Food establishment I have ever been to. They go above and beyond to make sure that you wait at least 10 minutes to order and another 15 minted to get your food. I would highly recommend this Taco Bell if you have about 30 minutes to kill and literally have no other options.
I'm a big fan of taco bell, from their Chalupa's to their Crunchwrap's I go to a taco bell pretty often. Taco bell breakfast is clearly the best fast-food breakfast there is as well. The problem with this particular Taco Bell, is that while their hours are clearly posted, there was a series of 3 mornings where I tried to get breakfast here and there was nobody staffed at the drive through. One morning, there was a line of 4 cars stuck for 15 minutes because the first car waited by the window. The most frustrating part is that their front door clearly posts the hours, the website clearly posts the hours. I'm going to keep trying to give this Taco Bell my money, I'll keep everyone posted.
Called to tell them that my order was wrong and the supposed manager was super rude and answered mam that’s not what I asked and clearly I had answered her question the first time. Another place that can’t seem to get the right order ! She proceeded to tell me to bring the food back so they can check so clearly had to take the food away from my kids and bring it back to her . Super unprofessional I returned her food and I got my money back. Good reasons to not be back. As for your manager couldn’t even say her name the first time I asked her what her name was. Must of been that scared .
Went there at 11 today, order the chalupa box, wanted extra beef and nacho cheese and No Tomato, lettuce or sour cream, paid for extra stuff, and didnt get it and they put tomatoes on it. Management could add more people to the night crew, only two people were working that night. 40 minutes waiting in drive thru line Saturday night. Could not go anywhere because I was stuck between cars.

Order#370753. Date8/20/19. Seasoned fries taste like burger king no seasoning sprinkled properly. Asked for fire sauce and gave hot sauce. TB give 2 or 3 napkins with order but when customer ask extra then extra means extra not 5 napkins. I don't know which english they understands better. Talk in english. 👿👿👿

OK so I worked in customer service so it’s very important to try your best to provide a five-star experience. I actually work at a place where we are short staffed right now, so I know exactly how that goes. I am in the oil change industry so I know how it goes to be shortstaffed and try to do 30 oil changes in one day but I was just told that they’re short staffed so they can’t make over six tacos for me. I asked for a party pack at this point I think you’re being lazy I understand very clearly about how being short staffed is I’m gonna stay that again you’re making tacos throw the stuff on the tortilla and throw them in a bag for me. I don’t care how long it takes. I’ll wait an extra 15 minutes for you to do your job. I don’t mind that I mind that you’re lazy and you don’t wanna do your job. Sorry guys.
I ordered a beefy 5-layer burrito with no beans, extra beef (paid $1 for extra beef) I received a tortilla with the saddest little bits of beef I've ever seen.... And nothing else. Just tortilla & some scraps of beef. What a joke, with how high priced everything is in this economy (even taco bell) totally unacceptable. Employee was not friendly at all either. It's always something at this location.
Pulled up at 10:45pm. Apparently the Elgin location is open until 2am. Nobody even acknowledged us on the speaker. Pulled up to the window to see some employee just giggling through the window. Pulled around the building and there's a line of 12 cars. I guess they don't need the business. Can't even be bothered to let folks know they are closed.
I just came from there 10 minutes ago specifically asked for beef instead of the chicken (chalupa) meal I get home and everything is chicken. I tried calling four times and nobody answers. I repeated my order three times.
If you want to save your time please don’t enter drive thru at this Taco Bell. I was in a hurry to grab a quick bite turned out I was stuck in there drive thru for 25 minutes! Not even exaggerating. And decided to leave. Never coming to this location again. And then we went home and saved some pesos and had a fantastic home made meal.
I get there 10 minutes before the place closes and I try to open both doors and both were already locked 10 minutes before 5 and I go through the drive through and I ask if I could order through there because they locked their doors early and then she explains that they closed because the cashier is counting the money and besides the whole conversation I could barely even hear her and the time was 4:56. How are they going to make another schedule to close early, and close before the new schedule. There's a reason why out of all places they could work at they work at Taco Bell.
I was able to time my last visit to Taco Bell because I got off the phone just before I pulled into the drive thru and it took 17 minutes to fulfill my order. I was third in line and my order took just as long as those in front of me. My food was so salty I ended up throwing half of it away because I would literally have thrown up if I had another bite. And it was $6 for a chalupa. I'm sorry, what?!
Half the time they are not open when they should be. What Taco Bell closes at 9pm? Before they changed their hours you would drive all the way there for them to just be closed. People will be on the intercom too. What a joke. Corporate gotta get their stuff together on this one
Been here 7 times or so in 2 years only 4 times has the order been correct. Last time was parked outside the window for at a minium of 8 minutes when finally the associate opened the window and asked if everything was okay. Had to let her know I still haven't received my order and even when I got it there was an item missing.
It seems like this location is consistently going up and down with satisfaction and quality. Unfortunately tonight went completely off the rails of satisfaction. There was a line with about 3 cars, not a big deal, however I don't know whether it was the ridiculously big orders of the cars ahead of me or the lack of staff, but I sat in that drive thru waiting for over 30 minutes just to get to the window to get my food. I was tempted to leave but unfortunately once you are in the drive thru that's where you are stuck.
This place consistently screws up drive through orders anytime there are more than 3 cars in line. It’s getting to the point where no Taco Bell location in the Chicago suburbs can get a simple order correct in less than 20 minutes.
I do not normally eat at Taco Bell. So, I look up their menu an item for $2.00. When I get to the drive thru, the menu shows it is $2.69. So I ask the girl if it is cheaper to order online than through the drive thru and explained the discrepancy. She said "I don't know." I asked her if she could find out. She was not able to give me an answer to what I believe is a simple, straight-forward question. I was concerned about the people making my food and the quality of the preparations, so I left.
I am beyond upset. Hours say open until 1. I pulled up at 11:30 and waited in line for 20 minutes just to be told that they could’nt serve me because they “have two big online orders to fulfill and close in 10 minutes”. They literally served every car before me and then wouldn’t serve me. Super upset considering I waited 20 minutes in line for nothing.
This place employees are completely useless, lack training, they cannot even print out a simple paper receipt. Not every need emails or text, I need a record for my business not your business data correction. 😒 Get your act together!
This drive thru is tragic. I ordered a grilled cheese steak burrito box and got a beef burrito. I asked for no tomato on my Gordita Crunch and got a Chalupa with tomatoes…?? And for the Chicken Cantina taco I asked for no pico and it came with pico anyway. I’m surprised I even got the right drink honestly. Spent thirteen bucks on food I didn’t order. This place will rob you and I do not recommend.
I asked for a power bowl it was so much lettuce barely meat , rice had to be one scoop I had a power bowl before at another store and it was made correct! My friend had the grill cheese fries it made her sick wasn’t fresh at all just a bunch of cheese!! Stay away from this location it’s definitely giving they don’t care what they are serving customers! Literally the WORST service ever and the place is nasty. Girls didn’t have their hair up. Food took 20 minutes for me to get, in the drive thru. My food was messed up. (Asked for no hot sauce one stuff, and other things) they made everything the way it comes and didn’t care that I asked for it a specific way. The manager was very ignorant when I complained. Even threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave and refused to fix my order. Literally don’t waste your time. There’s another Taco Bell down the street.
everytime i convince myself to give this taco bell another chance i always regret it. im always missing my items every. single. time. i order from here. i try to give them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes my orders are big for my kids but that's no excuse. today i order a small simple order for my kids. one doritos Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos with two Chipotle Sauce with a dragon fruit slushie and fries and a Cheesy Double Beef Burrito. i only got the drink and the burrito. this infuriated me because this has happened multiple times and all i get back is 5$ in doordash credit that isn't even enough for one whole order. in my opinion 5$ back just isn't enough for them to keep making the same mistakes repeatedly. that's not even enough to cover a whole meal. this is hard earn money people stand on their burning feet all day for just to go down the drain because people can't seem to read and match the items with the bag orders. please. please. please. please. please. read before throwing things in bags. like i genuinely wholeheartedly can’t comprehend how hard can it be? like really how hard can it be? if you can’t do the job right why even work? just dumb and useless.
I ordered online and they got my order Wrong! I wanted my burrito toasted and it wasn’t, then i ordered the 10 piece nuggets and i only got five of them. I am very disappointed. And they didn’t give my hot sauce. im very sad :(
Last time I came here was some evening around 6PM in July 2023, I could not order nor could I use the bathroom. There must have only been two employees in the store. Dine in lobby: CLOSED. Could only take ONE ORDER per car in drive thru (was with a friend). Kid at window was rude and crushed my friends tacos. Both of us said were never coming back, especially at that time. I will say I had a different experience coming earlier in the day, there was far more competence and more people working in the morning.

Everytime I order at this Taco Bell it's all screwed up. Today I ordered a quesadilla combo - they forgot the sauce on the quesadilla and gave me a chicken taco instead of beef. They even forgot the sauce packets!
Horrible. Just awful. I ordered cheesy bean and rice burritos. This used to come with creamy jalapeno sauce but not anymore. That's not the issue. The issue is that even though they took it off of the menu for this food item, they STILL included it on my burrito. I always used to take this off my order when I was ordering it. When they completely removed this from this food item I thought "hey that makes it easier for me." Guess not. I have GERD so I shouldn't be eating spicy foods. Even though this might not be spicy to some, the creamy jalapeno sauce is pretty spicy to me which makes my GERD act up. I will never order Taco Bell again, especially at this place.
The guy in gray sweater from the front cashier eyes seemed really red seems like he was high or on something cause he was really quiet and forgot to grab my drinks. Including he looked red from the eyes that I could tell if he was even able to function at work like this I dislike these people who do this on the job cause makes the store look bad I hope this can get checked on cause this service was horrible he looked lost out his mind. Worst Taco Bell I have ever had, it has been a long time since I have had Taco Bell, decided to get some today and have their old famous Nacho bell grande with extra cheese I get home. I did not get my extra cheese on it and only five pieces of steak. Called, went back up there and got the same thing how they made it the first time. No extra cheese I wasted my money today spending extra on steak and cheese. So don’t get the nachos, you will be disappointed but one thing I can say is that the Doritos locos tacos are still good 😊 Nachos are Garbage 🗑️
Weird experience here. Ordered 2 crunchy tacos with ground beef and they did not put any lettuce, cheese.. nothing in it. I didn’t say to remove it and it appears it’s suppose to come with it. They didn’t confirm anything about adding or removing options. Overall weird. Won’t go back.
Sarah and Demetrius were rude and defensive when their staff forgot half our order. When my husband went to pick up the missing items, the gentleman at the window told him to tell me I'm a racist. I don't understand why he thought that was ok to say or how he knew what race I was....? Horrible customer service and unruly staff.
do NOT order from this Taco Bell. They charge super inflated prices, and remove items from combos. The GOOD location at 1160 N McLean charges $6 for 3 items and a drink, this AWFUL location charges $10 for 2 items and a drink. They literally removed the Specialty item, so they basically charge you $10 for a hard shell taco, cinnamon twists, and a medium drink - which by the way is only $7 when ordered separately. I genuinely hope this location realizes their location down the street sells items up to 40% cheaper than them, and has a wake up call.
