Supimos de este café por nuestra guía del tour (Josefina - Girona Free Tour). Y es, como dijo, una maravilla. Un trato estupendo, y pudimos probar Xiuxos (típico de crema y uno de pistachio). Aparte del servicio y calidad, el lugar esta muy lindo. Muchas gracias. Ya quiero volver.

Café cuqui, con estilo y muy bonito. Donde podrás disfrutar de un ratito agradable y deleitarte con cualquiera de las esquisiteces de su carta. Situado en una calle donde la terraza está a la sombra pues las tardes y se está de las mil maravillas! Probamos el café frapé y el croissant relleno de pistacho.... Brutales! El precio bueno y acorde a la calidad.

Local acogedor y bonito muy cerca de la catedral, con un servicio muy amable y un café espectacular hecho con mucho mimo. Pedimos el bocadillo Gavarres, muy bueno, una ración de un banana bread casero riquísimo y el mejor xuixo de crema que nos hemos comido en Girona (y han sido unos cuantos, jajaja). Sin duda, un lugar donde tomar buen café y sentirte mejor que en casa, volveremos seguro!

El bocadillo gourmet “Gerunda” es orgásmico y solo sueño con volver para repetir. El “xuxo” de pistacho tampoco se queda atrás 🤭🫣. El café es de calidad y se nota que manejan bien el producto. Las tazas con las que nos lo sirvieron son muy muy bonitas ❤️. Tuvimos la suerte de poder desayunar en una mesa que tienen en un mini balcón que da a la calle en pleno casco antiguo de Girona y fue un desayuno idílico y riquísimo! El local en si es pequeñito pero muy bien aprovechado. Me fliparon un par de rincones donde tienen libros a disposición por si quieres leer y una pequeña barra donde puedes dejar tu tarjeta de contacto si eres emprendedor/a; un mini rincón donde puedes promocionar tus servicios de una forma muy simple y original! Todo un descubrimiento este sitio!

Quality specialty coffee spot in the heart of Girona! The ‘Bikini’ (grilled ham & cheese croissant) was delicious and crunchy. The Flat White was smooth and velvety. I mean…what else do you need, really? Highly recommended!

Such an amazing experience here! The service was phenomenal. I ordered an iced vanilla matcha and a sandwich. It was nice to go somewhere that offered flavors and iced options. I was also surprised by how large the sandwich was. I will definitely be returning here next time I come to Spain.

Very good service and excellent speciality coffee. In addition to the café, they have a shop with Spanish products, some gluten-free options, and a free water fountain (natural, cold and sparkling) for customers. There is also a place to leave business cards and curious details such as banknotes from different countries. A very cosy and recommendable place.

Originem is a must-visit! Travelling from the UK, we’ve never tasted coffee as exceptional as this. Both the cappuccino and flat white were expertly prepared, with a richness and depth of flavour that truly blew us away. We’d return to Girona just for this coffee shop! For brunch, we tried the ham and cheese croissant and the lox salmon bagel. The croissant was perfectly flaky and filled with savoury goodness, while the bagel was fresh, hearty, and paired beautifully with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Set in Girona’s stunning old town, the atmosphere is as charming as the coffee is outstanding. Despite being very busy, the service was fantastic – warm, efficient, and attentive. If you’re in Girona, don’t miss this gem. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy top-notch coffee and a delicious brunch in a beautiful setting! Highly recommend.

Lovely cafe and friendly staff. The menu is a little unclear from the boards but easier to read from the QR code. We came twice - once to enjoy the breakfast deals and once in the evening to have wine in the courtyard seating. The espresso was excellent. The red wine was light and tasted like raspberries, and was enjoyable. More food options would be nice, especially some healthier breakfast options, but a very good experience nonetheless and great staff.

Cafetería con encanto y muy agradable. Ideal para desayunar o tomar algo, aunque también disponen de algunas tostadas y bocadillos para comer a medio día. Sirven buen café y disponen de una pequeña seleccion de cervezas muy buenas. Se encuentra ubicado en pleno centro de Girona, en el casco antiguo. Además los camareros son muy amables.

I liked the staff, the atmosphere, and the coffee. I think the salads are a bit overpriced for what you get and the cucumber wasn’t freshly cut. Overall, I would definitely recommend, especially for the friendly and attentive staff but perhaps would avoid the salad.

I love places that give you access to products from the local area, and I love a good coffee. This place gave me both and some good friendly service (in English). A handy addition here is that water is available on tap (like at a bar) still or sparkling at no charge. A lovely modern take on the local produce shop.

Entré porque vi los bocadillos y tenían muy buena pinta, sobre todo el pan. Calidad buena de los ingredientes. Local nuevo, muy luminoso aunque desorganizado (hay cajas de trabajo que no deberían verse). Por mi demasiado caro por lo que es. Un bocadillo, una ensalada 2 cervezas y un agua 33€ 😵‍💫😵‍💫 No volvería a repetir, por ese precio puedo comer en muchos otros sitios manteniendo la misma calidad con más variedad y quizás algo más de cantidad.

Fuimos estos días para la fiesta de temps de flors.. y el sitio genial ..una calle céntrica, Pero los precios me parecen abusivos.. Pedimos 3 cafés con leche y 3 🥐 de pistachos y nos cobraron 24€ .. me parece demasiado para lo que era.. Los 🥐 estaban muy buenos si q es verdad.. pero me parece excesivo

We tried the egg croissant and the cinnamon roll for breakfast. Both were served cold and not fresh, especially the cinnamon roll. I expected them to be at least warm.

La verdad que me ha sorprendido que tenga buenas reseñas. Vivo en Barcelona, soy extranjera y he tenido la oportunidad de haber probado café de calidad en varios sitios. Fuimos en familia a conocer un poco del casco histórico de Girona y veo este cafe que por fuera todo se ve bien pero un servicio LENTO o LENTÍSIMO por parte de la chica que hace el cafe, como si lo esta haciendo en la tranquilidad de su casa, espere 15 minutos por un café con leche y el PEOR chai latte de mi vida y esto que era para llevar. Pero lo peor fue que al salir del cafe seguimos nuestro camino y vamos probando el cafe con leche horrible y el chai que de latte no tenía nada. La verdad que quería disfrutar de un rico chai y cafe con leche que ni me importo el precio al ver la fachada que prometía un buen cafe y fue un total fracaso. 0 estrellas. Sigan engañando a los demas extranjeros con su falso buen cafe.

Ya sabía que barato no era, pero esperaba que el café estuviera a la altura de un café de especialidad. Ni por temperatura ni por sabor me pareció que valiera la pena. Cómo detalle me resultó curioso que me recibieran indicando que nadie del personal hablara español. Yo un par de frases sé decir en otros idiomas, quizás esos detalles sean la diferencia entre incluir propina o no...
