The best chicken I have ever had it's always hot and they couldn't have given it a better name Golden Chick, the chicken is always Golden and delicious 😋 Golden Chick has Popeyes beat hands down. If you see one stop by you will try it again. Had a chance to get a family special you don't get a quality box like this at popeyes.

This place is one of my favorite places to go for a family meal . I always get the 16+ strip meal with the battered fries and yeast rolls. Everything is delicious. The rolls are amazing. The tenders are complemented so well with their Zing spice and I see why they sell it in a bottle. Also I've eaten the Gravy along with House made sauce and it is good as well.

How are you going to forget to give me my jalapeño poppers and then charge me for a cup of water when I have to come back and wait on you to make them that’s not good customer service. Charging paying customers for water is crazy on top of that the food wasn’t fresh like I was told and you for got a item!!! This happen today at 9:10

Tenders not fresh and was cold...The young girl at the drive thru was very bland with a attitude. They forgot to put my ranch in the bag so I had to turn around and go inside with my kids to get it. Customer service here sucks along with the food. Won't be back

Why are the portions so small??? Did I just order a $12 kids meal?? The only thing big was the drink.

I have been going to the location on Spears road for years. We usually get the wicked wings. Well I rolled up to the drive thru, ordered two 9 piece wicked wings and one 6 piece. A couple of sides and a drink. Total order was almost $50. Ok I'm expecting the price. What I was not expecting was what we got. As I drove off my daughter opened the box and I promise you these were DEFINITELY not wings!!! I am still trying to figure out from what pigeon these wings came from because in all of my 50 something years of living I have NEVER seen wings this tiny. It was all batter and something in the shape of a mini wingy thingy. I turned around and went back they offered to fry me three wings. Im like whhhhhyyyy would I want 3 wings??? I was so disgusted and disappointed that the golden chick I had often looked forward to visiting had made such a huge decline in food production. I will NEVER go there again. BTW if there is a wing shortage where are they getting these fake imitation wingy thingys??? I will add pics so you can see for yourself. Mind you in the pics they are actually smaller than my pinky finger. Every single box looked like this or worse. Plus the food wasn't cooked fresh like they normally do. Word of caution Do NOT go to Golden Chick on Spears Road.

The food was okay; however, the service was terrible. I ordered online for pickup, and they could not find my order. This needs to be corrected with better staff training. I was frustrated not only because I received a leg and thigh instead of the ordered wing and breast, but also because the employee began speaking Spanish to me, which I found rude. Finally my to go had no napkins nor a spoon to eat my rice... first and last time...

I went through drive thru I ordered two sets of sex piece wings and a roll . One was supposed to be spicy dill pick and the other one was plain. What did I get I ended up with wicked wings . I am already at work I can't go back and get what I wanted. If someone. Is going to take orders through drive thru they should get order correct. Company opens at 10am. Got there at 10:08am. Waited 5 minutes in drive through-no answer, then pulled to the window-no acknowledgement, waited 5 more minutes. Seen a worker at the register, she looked back at me and went to the back somewhere and kept working. So I then decided to go into the restaurant, I was finally greeted by the Hispanic woman. I begin to asked whether this location open at 10am as posted online, she started explaining that they just opened and were not ready and that's why they didn't answer the drive through. I understood, but the common curiosity would be to let the customers know instead of IGNORING them and continuing talking on her phone.VERY unprofessional and poor customer service.

Retracted my previous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ l waited 30+ minutes inside for 6 chicken strips and fries and one of them was micro 🤦🏽‍♀️ Edit to add: I visited again May 2025. The chicken tenders were so old that they hurt to chew. Will ABSOLUTELY NOT BE RETURNING. They’ve definitely gone downhill! 👎🏽👎🏽

I live in this area... along with coming here a regular basis. Today, however, was very disappointing... I order 2 - 4 piece strips (one spicy and one regular). See the attached photos to see the rushed work. Then we only got 1 gravy for two meals. The lady Ashley at the front was VERY monotone and seemed annoyed like the dry eye commercial. I explained to her that the drink machine was entirely flat (no carbonation) and asked if there were other drink options. She walked up with an attitude and said "well it's getting changed so you can get something then". I was taken aback MAINLY because I'm a General Manager for a restaurant myself. The lady at the DT (I believe her name was Shenae). She was very polite. She heard our issue, offered us tea and made our drinks. We completely appreciate the service Shenae gave, but Ashley acted like she had better things to to than the job she applied for. This was h8ghly unacceptable and I'm honestly hoping that the General Manager of this establishment makes this right...

My order was never made. It tells me to pick up at 8:57pm, its now 9:10pm and yet no food at all. They had the nerve to say they didn't have anyone to make it but yet people in front and behind has received their food in a timely manner. And I'm just waiting. Again I paid in advance online for my order. This is the last time I ever come to this business. 0 star on customer service and time management. Talking about skipping the line. It's not been almost 30min. And still standing outside waiting..... OMG I JUST CHECK MY FOOD AND THEY COMPLETELY MESS MY ORDER UP. AND I HAD MAC AND CHEESE IN MY DIRTY RICE. AND THEY GAVE ME 2 WATER DOWN GRAVEY but no mash potatoes 😕. No fries. Etc
