Katy was an amazing server and she made me and my husband feel very welcome and comfortable to be at the establishment!! We will most definitely be coming back to this location, 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!

Our server Justin was attentive, funny, and very nice. The food came out quickly and everything was fresh and tasty! The loaded potato soup and fried shrimp were my personal faves and the bread was a star on it's own. We came when it was pretty busy and took a minute to find parking in the back but there was still about 5-7 spots open.

Consistent food. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere to enjoy lunch or dinner. Our first time trying the chips and queso with brisket. The brisket was on drier-side since Saltgrass doesn't specialize in bbq. All the steaks were delivered as ordered. Will return again when beef crave starts up.

I've lived in the area for about 30 years and there was a point where things got really bad here and we stopped coming. With that being said, under John's management, I've seen a huge turnaround. Everything has been top of the line since he arrived. Additionally, he has stopped at our table each visit to make sure the quality was up to par and I see him do this with all tables. Highly respect his craft, and level of professionalism, down to his pens matching his outfit. Laundry's should highly value him.

Brandon our server was amazing. I was very impressed that when i sat down he explained the drink menu to me and their specialty cocktails even adding what he would personally ordered. I thought it was a nice touch. I ordered the 6 ounce filet and it was delicious. The manager Becca came over and introduced herself which i really appreciated. Becca also took off an item that was added to our bill incorrectly when we pointed it out to her. Brandon was very knowledgeable about the menu and very polite and attentive checking on our party several times. I would highly recommend this location

Love this place! After ordering their DELISH Fried Mushroom Appetizer, I had the (new on the menu) Shrimp and Artichoke Pasta and Hubby ordered the Pat's Ribeye and Flash Fried Green Beans (also delish) . The pasta entree was scrumptious, savory and full of flavor. The only improvement to this that I would recommend is to improve on the grilled shrimp as they were dry and a bit on the hard side (IMO). With that said, I will definitely order this entrée again.

We go to Salt Grass often and we always have a great experience. They have the very Best potato soup I have ever eaten. I cannot brag enough about this soup. It is the first thing I order and I always take extra home with me.

My son loves Saltgrass Steakhouse. He takes his girlfriend there all the time. On a recent road trip, we went with my father-in-law. The staff was very nice and service was prompt. wow, my family and I had originally gone to another restaurant that was not able to accommodate a group of 20. Called this location, and they said come on over. The food was so delicious, OMG. I don't think I've ever had fried Asparagus before, and I was kinda leary. It did not disappoint. 👏🏾 It was so good. Out of 20 dishes served plus appetizers and drinks, nothing went back. Everything was PERFECT!! I wish I could remember our waitress' name, but she was amazing, on point, friendly, and prompt. Can't wait to go back this weekend.

My wife and I had the best experience by far at this Saltgrass. We are visiting the area from San Antonio and are club members at Landry's restraunts. Marcus was our waiter, what a wonderful young man. Marcus is very personable, respectful and attentive but his service goes beyond those things, he has the ability to make you feel like family, his smile and the way he presents himself is phenomenal. First and foremost, I must say that the courtesy and professionalism of the staff is palpable! I noticed that the entire crew from the hostess to the bus staff were polite x 10!!! The food was great, the beverages were tasty, the presentation was on point and our server, Sephora was polite, attentive and focused on our meal! We left with big smiles on our faces!!!

Visiting from Mississippi I was pleasantly pleased. Great experience and food. Customer service with a smile. Ample parking for groups. Great selection from the bar and the wait time is minimal for the bar staff. Clean and friendly environment for family oriented events. Would recommend to anyone to enjoy.

Amazing service by Keitha and the food was excellent! John the manager came to our table and made everything personal and fantastic! The Softball team enjoyed their team dinner and had a great time! Save room for dessert if you can, the homemade carrot cake slice was huge and had to place a fork standing next to it with the photo taken for comparison lol. This is one of our go to spots near home and we will be back again soon!

Came to this restaurant as an out of stater, best decision ever. The service was amazing, our waitress Jackie was so personable, very attentive and pleasant all around. I’ve never had ribs before so coming to Texas trying all the BBQ was on my to do list. I order the BBQ pork ribs and they truly did fall off the bone. Grabbed the bone to pick up a piece and only the bone (clean bone, not a speck of meat on it) was in my hand. The meat was so flavorful and tender. Definitely recommend this place and ask for Jackie as your server!

Our server was Jordan and he was great! The hubby and I split the 17 oz T-bone and it was so delicious and cooked to perfection! Their loaded baked potato was really loaded too with cheese, sour cream, bacon, and fresh green onion. Maybe it's the pregnancy talking, but that was one of the best steaks I've ever had! I visited this location for dinner for a date night. The place was almost full but we received great service. I had the red fish with Cesar salad and green beans as an option side. As always food was hearty and delicious so, desert had to be for to go. Next morning I enjoyed a creamy pumpkin cheesecake with a cup of coffee.

Came in for New Year’s Eve with a reservation. The restaurant wasn’t too packed but lively with lots of seating. We had really good service and got all of our food quickly. Portions were filling and tasty. Drinks were very big and good as well.

This location is one the best. I was traveling for work and needed to place a to-go order with very specific requirements involving per diem limits, split payments, receipts, and rewards tracking. When I first called, I was transferred to the To-Go line and then to Cassie. I am so glad I was. Cassie was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly thorough. She walked me through current specials, including some online favorites, and helped me divide my order into two separate transactions so I could use my work per diem correctly before covering the remaining balance personally. She sent secure payment links for each transaction, made sure everything processed properly, and ensured my Landry’s Rewards account was attached to both orders. What stood out the most was her leadership. She shared that her To-Go team was running behind and that she had stepped in to support them. Even while helping me, she was managing other orders, placing me on hold when necessary, returning promptly, confirming payments, and making sure all receipts were sent and verified. The entire process felt organized and seamless. It wasn’t until the end of the call that I learned she was the manager, which made perfect sense. As a regional manager myself, I have tremendous respect for leaders who step in, support their team, and still deliver an exceptional customer experience. She could have easily asked me to handle it in person, but instead she made the entire process efficient and stress-free. Now, here’s where I need to own something. I meant to submit this review months ago and completely dropped the ball. Recently, I had to call back for a copy of my receipt for company documentation, and Cassie remembered me. We originally went to the Saltgrass on Shepherd but left immediately because it smelled like wet towels and looked very dirty. We decided to come to this location instead and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and everything was very clean. The bread was fresh and delicious. Our server, Angel, was amazing and took great care of us, giving us great food recommendations. My husband ordered the New York strip and it was delicious. I absolutely loved the tortilla soup. Angel also told us about the rewards program, which we ended up signing up for. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back.

He stayed on top of everything with perfect timing, checked in without hovering, and made sure my meal was exactly what I wanted. He genuinely made the service feel effortless. After my dinner, Cassie came by to ask how everything was. She was warm, sincere, and genuinely interested in making sure I had a great experience. That kind of hospitality goes a long way. I also want to recognize Manager John, who was professional, present, and clearly runs a tight ship. First time eating at this location and everything was a 10/10! Tamara was our waitress and she was phenomenal. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure my brother and I had a great experience—even though it was a busy Sunday evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and the recommended pineapple margarita was both refreshing and flavorful, complete with an actual grilled pineapple. We’ll definitely be back and will be sure to ask for Tamara again!

This place has a great atmosphere. The manager and waiter here are very passionate. If you don't have Landry's selective club card, you can get one here. You can get your club card and points right after you enroll your membership here. If you apply your club member online (like I did) you have to wait for your card to mail to you and don't get your points for this purchase. The lunch menu is pretty decent. The portion is pretty big and the price is decent. Their queso with chips is a must-have. Their sauces are a little too salty and steak was overcooked, but overall, it's a place that I would like to come back.

Aniyah was our server tonight and she did a wonderful job providing food and drink suggestions. Very friendly and was delightful company for us to have throughout out meal. We also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager Cassie. Overall a pleasant experience because of the great service we received. The food was good and the salmon seemed fresh. Atmosphere is about what you expect from a family restaurant. Nothing amazing, but it did feel cozy.

First time visiting this establishment. The food was good. Nothing really stood out for me. My steak was supposed to be medium well but it was charred. I got the surf and turf. Only 4 shrimp. I will say that the drinks were really good and the dessert. Definitely get the bread pudding. It was so good and a very generous portion!

I went into this place expecting some amazing food based on others' reviews however, th country fried chicken was bland and the mashed potatoes were a little to hard/thick. The hatch chili corn au gratin was basically flavorless too. The filet my husband ate was cooked to perfect temp but again lacked flavor/seasoning. The best part of the night was the ribs my daughter ordered. They truly fell off the bone! The queso with brisket appetizer tasted ok.. but the downfall is that the brisket in it was very stringey and clumbed together. So it was half to scoop with the chips. If the meet had been chopped Into smaller bites, it amy have been perfect. The whole roasted jalapeño was a nice touch but I had to cut it up myself to add to the dip. Overall this dinner was ok.the only consolation we had was your server :jackie" She made the entire evening worthwhile!

Saltgrass is the place to go for a proper Texas lunch. It's a great place for steaks and ribs. I suggest the 16oz "Pat's Ribeye". I also order the fried pickles and peppers. Then a cheesecake for dessert. Food was awesome and delivered quickly to the table, despite the restaurant being busy. Only complaint is it seems like the prices are higher everything I come in! And my wife asked for no cheese or croutons on her salad and got both. I can't stress enough that the steaks are the highlight of the meal here and I'll definitely be back... MLB

I've been in Texas for about 11 years now and this was my first time visiting Saltgrass. For whatever reason, I assumed they were a steak house only and I'm vegetarian for the most part, but do eat seafood every now and then. A few good friends of mine invited me out for dinner and this was their choice. I figured I would just get a salad, munch on bread, have a few drinks and enjoy good company. I was really surprised at the options available. The food and drinks I enjoyed thoroughly, I was very pleased. The service on the other hand was not so good. In spite of this, I would definitely go back.

I've been part of the Landry's Select Club for about 10 years and have always enjoyed coming to Saltgrass Steak House. I typically order the Pat's Ribeye with Mac & Cheese and a Caesar Salad - this is very flavorful and filling. Great atmosphere and I enjoy the rustic decor.

Go there often love the rewards program, food is always good. The only problem is paying for weak drinks I previously ordered 2 Texas Tito Tea this time 2 of the Tropical Sangria both taste very good but are very weak it was as if I had tea or punch with a refill. I should not have to order an extra shot just to get what a drink should be. Maybe it’s just that location and should try Shepherd. Paid $24 for 2 very weak drinks

Had our company Christmas lunch at this Saltgrass, the restaurant experience was interesting, when we arrived, there were 8 of us in total and only 2 groups of 2 ahead of us. The host told us about 10 to 15 minute wait which is fine considering it was about around 12:45 or so when we arrived so they were finishing there lunch rush. It was around 25 minutes later when they were actually able to seat us and the restaurant was emptying out. Our waitress took our drink order and appetizer order, she brought out the drinks about 10 minutes later and the appetizer and bread were brought out shortly after, she left and came back in about another 10 minutes to take our food order. Our food took between 15 to 20 minutes to come out and at this point, the restaurant was down to 4 groups dining, which includes our group, so the restaurant was pretty empty. I had ordered the 21oz bone in rib-eye steak medium rare, unfortunately for me, it ended up being medium so they had overcooked the meat, given our group size and time left before we were going to return to the office, i didn't bother to let the waitress know that the meat was overbooked and just settled with the rib-eye the way it was served. I also had a loaded baked potato with extra butter and extra sour cream, there potatoe was properly cooked and a decent size. My house salad with ranch was tasty with the lettuce crispy with no brown edges. Everyone else seemed delighted with there choice of food and the preparedness of their meats. Overall, this was a pleasant experience, the restaurant is well kept, the employees do prebus the tables, and they are attentive to the customers needs.

Today's special...Center cut filet and a crab cake topped with lump crab meat Our group of 10 had an 11:00 reservation and upon arriving, we were welcomed and promptly seated. To start, our server took our drink orders and I asked for UNsweetened tea. She brought me sweetened tea the first 2 times before bringing unsweetened on the third attempt. Not sure what happened there. She also told us about the special for today and since I wasn't sure what I wanted to order, I opted for the special; filet and crab cake topped with lump crab meat. Appetizer sampler platters were ordered for the table which came out fairly quick. Salads that were ordered, came out fast and shortly after, our entree. It was the desserts we asked for to-go that took the longest time. We had to get back to the office by 1:00 and it was being cut close. I can't speak for everyone else at the table but my food was delicious! I ordered my filet medium and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The crab cake and lump crab; good as well! In the middle of our meal, our waitress mentioned that she remembered us from a year ago. Yep, we sure were there last year! Impressions are lasting!

Happy hour at the bar is great, but also it gets very busy. We switched to a table for dinner and our server Nathan was exceptional. The ribeye was ok, wish it had a sear. The crab cake was delicious and the chocolate cake was a fantastic ending. Can’t wait to return and try more things.

The food was delicious and fresh. The chicken-fried chicken and steak sirloin were tasty. While the brisket burger wasn't good enough, the meat did not seem fresh and looked like frozen meat. The service was good, with friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it's a great spot for a satisfying steakhouse meal.

Had a great time meeting with some friends and enjoyed the food but a little pricey for my liking. $40 for one person is a bit much. Had one drink, a tea, and a chicken dinner that was mediocre. Couldn't afford to eat a steak at a steakhouse. Waitress Eden was wonderful though.

Food was good, no complaints there, service could've been better, here again no complaints also, however, we barely had finished our dinner when they were trying to clean our table and rushing us out, not even a chance to review the dessert menu.... Needless to say, we'll not be returning here....

I'm a regular customer at saltgrass and typically I enjoy my dining experience, however this time I sat at the bar area and my experience was very unpleasant. I sat for almost 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then the lady that came in after me and placed her order after me, received her order 1st and I STILL had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the appetizer soup. The temperature on the food was lukewarm at best. The bartender frequently engaged with his friends that were also seated at the bar and I had to literally flag him down to get his attention to place my drink order. I left feeling like I most likely won't be back to that location (SW Frwy).

Steak was undercooked, bread was stale, someone came by to pick up dishes and touched the bread and did not offer the replace it or even acknowledge that she touched it, beer was warm and skunky. Server disappeared on us for at least 45 minutes. Not worth the money spent. This was on Sunday 10/19/25 at 1:30 pm.

Management needs to have a meeting with the staff and get them to understand how important it is to slow down and verify the very order they took from customers less than 20 minutes ago is complete & correct! Waiters & waitresses in the food industry are flooding facebook with post DEMANDING a minimum of 20% Tips... my question is " For What "??? Do you think you deserve to receive 18% tips and higher when you haven't served me, you didn't bring me anything to drink. Customers are sick of being treated as if they are cheap simply because you think your worthy of tips that FAR EXCEEDED YOUR SERVICE! Especially when all you did was take our orders, submit them to the cooks, put them in a bag and hand them to us without so much as even taking time to see if the requested order is correct. Restaurants are closing in record numbers and its not just the economy causing the problems. Most employees aren't giving proper training, and it shows. The meal that I received was a good meal; however, knowing how much you paid for a meal, then realizing you gave a 20% tip on top, only to find that items you specifically requested for a reason were missing from your order is enough to reconsider ordering from this location again. So, check your orders before you leave.

Customer service was terrible, server forgot our food and never checked on us to see if we needed anything, we had to ask another server that was nearby because ours wouldn’t check on us, we also felt discriminated. Will not be coming back.

From the beginning the waiters was being rude, totally dismissed our concerns about how we requested our food, when we brought the issue up she responded with “calm down” and that’s when we request to talk to the manager, John, just gave us the same dish but over cooked not a new one like he said he would, the manager. He did introduce us to our new server and Jadon was attentive in the beginning and then he just forgot about our table. A new guest came in and the old server threw the plate with a dish we did not order on our table we Stated that we didn’t order that and she took it back however since she was there we told her to get our server because the new guest was ready to order requesting to speak to Jadon, she just ignored us. I had to stand up and walk to the hostess and request help and a server that was talking there came all the way to help us. At the end we pay the bill and I paid in full with no requests of a discount for the poor service or disrespectful server we got and now my charge in the bank is totally different. Horrible experience this time. We loved coming to this location!

My husband and I went here for the first time last week for dinner with some friends. Our waitress Sydney was not very attentive and seemed to spend a lot of time chatting with the other waiters even when we were waiting to order and needed refills. We only got 1 drink refill and after we got our food she didn’t come back to our table again except to give us our check. Likely won’t be coming back to this location again.

I ordered doordash from this location and I was absolutely disappointed. I ordered a well done steak and got nothing but fat. The owner or manager should look up the person who made this meal and fire them immediately. The mashed potatoes were literally rock hard 🤢🤢🤢. I wouldn't even give my dog this. I will not be recommending my friends or family to come here. You just lost a lot of business.

What I ordered was not good at all at that location. I ordered a filet and that was definitely not a filet . It looked like I got a shaving of the steak I was supposed to get . No flavor in the food but I was so hungry and that was my first time eating for the day that I ate it anyway. The waiter was TERRIBLE. I would put your name on here but I’m not going to call you out on here. Do better. I requested something and he told me they didn’t have it and they did . Then he tried to over charge me . He told us he did something and caused our food to be delayed in coming out . We waited a long time for our food. The management was nice and helpful thats the only good thing I can say.
